One day I'll write a post about how I never actually had problems with actual fujoshis (those who are just vibing and having fun in their corner shipping fictional men together), my problem was actually with ""fake fujoshis"" who didn't know how to differentiate reality from fiction (aka they harassed me and other guys and treated us as fictional characters), were homophobic and were also hypocrites because they thought that any men who likes yuri (by the way, is there a fujoshi-type name for male yuri fans? google didn't help me at all with this search) were something something evil and fetishistic while they were literally doing the same thing with m/m ships

Has anyone had a similar experience to mine? I would like to know if I'm not alone in this, or if I was unlucky enough to come across the bad apples part of the fandom

You can enjoy things in fiction that would be awful in the real world. Like playing a murderhobo in a game! In the real world, being or supporting a murderer-thief would be pretty damn awful, while in the game it's just good fun. Same with anything else you choose to do with the pixels on the screen, like kinks that don't affect anyone real, so they're okay in fiction, but would be pretty damn bad in real life.
