It’s just criminal how few accidental voyeurism there is with this pairing and it’s almost all Hermione seeing Sev! Had to fix that up right quick 😉 it’s one of my favourite little kinks! Thanks for recommending to your audience! I’m so very happy you enjoyed it!
Not too long ago an anon asked me for more smutty Snamione.
HERE YOU GO ANON.
What a wicked game you play (3 chapters, completed, post-war AU) by @antebellum13. It's been years since the end of the war and Hermione moved in back to Grimmauld Place. Her only other roommate is Severus, but they never see each others. One day she comes home early and starts touching herself. Her door is open... There's voyeurism. It's glorioussss. *muah*
I added it to my fanfic reco masterpost.
Thank me later.

@fafodill you’re so sweet! I loved reading all your comments! And I adore your Sev drawings so much! So it’s such a treat to see you commenting on my stuff! ♥️♥️♥️ thanks to anon too for recommending!
I can't recommend this fic enough https://archiveofourown.org/works/64130974/chapters/164556754 it's by @antebellum13 please read at least the notes on the first chapter to get a hint of what's in store. It's an SSHG fic but I zeroed in in Snape's feelings with Lily Potter and Albus Dumbledore in the fic oh my god it's so good so good.
Oh, anon, thank you! 💝 I actually read it one or two weeks ago (it was recommended to me in a comment section) and I REALLY liked it! I need to read more of @antebellum13's work, it's amazing! They're the one who wrote the fic I linked twice already, 'what a wicked game you play' (I forgot to tag them, shame on me, gonna do that away!)
And yeah, highly recommend this one too, guys! It's very interesting, very satisfying and personaly, it healed part of my soul (this is a little therapy session for real). Go give it a read if you're in the mood to love Severus and wanting to slap Lily! And let the author know if you liked it, they're super sweet!

Can you rank from your most to least favorite pairing among the Hermione ships you've written for? Sevmione, Sirimione, Remione, Charmione, and Dramione. And if you would expand as to why you've their placements, cus so far I'm only really familiar w sevmione and dramione. Are the rest rare pairings? at the least, charmione has to be?
Sevmione (aka SSHG) is my OTP so that’s definitely #1. He is complex, morally grey, lonely, repressed, and fiercely intelligent. If anyone could draw him out, I think it would be her.
Remione and Sirimione are pretty much tied for #2 though I would say the Sirimione I wrote that’s a bit longer holds a special place in my heart. Both Remus and Sirius are lonely men who’ve lost nearly everything and both I think are capable of giving Hermione something that I don’t personally feel Ron can. Their canon backgrounds alone are compelling enough to give them massive amounts of emotional depth.
Dramione was a ship I was obsessed with for a long time and still read occasionally. I wrote the darker Death Eater version of him I headcanon and have another unfinished version of him that I love that’s more canonical. I hope to finish that story at some point. Draco is a complex character like Severus. Canon events point to him being a very reluctant member of Volemort’s following and the enemies-to-lovers trope is very compelling.
Charmione was a lot of fun and used mainly as a way to test myself and prove I could start and finish writing something. It allowed me to explore the smuttier side of things too before I tried doing it with my OTP. He is a safe character that doesn’t get much backstory in canon, so you can do pretty much what you want with him.
Remione, Sirimione, and Charmione are all definitely considered rare pairs. Sevmione used to be somewhat more rare but the ship is gaining traction as us millennials all get older and start reaching the age Severus was in the books. It’s easier to connect with him, though I’ll admit I’ve been a bit obsessed with him since I was 16.

After hours and hours of work I have finished my first digital painting! I’ve learned quite a lot about Procreate and there’s several things I can carry over to my composite rendering skills. This is a labor of love. I really wanted to depict Severus as he was prior to turning to the light and the Order. This is Sev around the age of 20, prior to his “Big Mistake”. Now I share it with all of you! 💕
Pose was inspired by Ivmaruva’s Death Eater Draco! Go check it out!

@meteoralinart
I have been so overcome with emotion by these works of art that I had to put words to it. Thank you for the inspiration and for the breathtaking artwork that is still bringing tears to my eyes.
The Escape
The air smelled green.
Padfoot had been running for what felt like hours. Days, maybe. His paws were raw. His muscles trembled with every stride, and the wild thundering of his heart no longer came from panic, but from sheer exhaustion. Still, he ran. Away from cold stone walls. Away from the sea. Away from the rotting chill of Azkaban.
Until, at last, he couldn’t anymore.
The shift came mid-stride, as though his body had made the choice for him—fur to flesh, paws to hands, beast to man. He staggered and hit the grass hard. Human again, though barely.
The wind sighed through the tall grass. Lupines swayed like they knew his name.
Sirius Black lay still. His robes were torn, his hands filthy, his bones ached with every heartbeat. The earth was soft beneath his cheek—too soft. His mind, conditioned to stone and chill and filth, mistrusted it. He didn’t remember what grass felt like. Or air that didn’t taste of salt and despair. He didn’t remember the weight of his own body when it wasn’t being crushed by hopelessness.
He was free.
But the word meant nothing. Not yet. Not when freedom came with no purpose but pain. He was gaunt, starving, half-mad. The silence felt like it might swallow him.
And then—
A sound.
A quiet rustling in the trees. He flinched, but his body refused to move.
He cracked his eyes open.
At first, he thought he was hallucinating. Or was it a dream?
A stag stood at the forest’s edge, head lifted high. His coat shone like polished bronze in the shafts of morning sun. Behind him, a doe stood protectively over a fawn barely taller than the grass.
Sirius’s breath caught. His vision blurred.
James.
But no—it wasn’t. It couldn’t be. James was gone. Lily too. Their boy, all that remained. The boy Sirius had sworn to protect.
A sob caught in his chest and curled there like a fist. It hurt to feel again. Hurt worse to hope.
But that fawn. So small. Shielded by its mother the way Lily had stood between Harry and Voldemort. So fragile. So alive.
His fingers dug into the earth. Not out of fear, but to anchor himself to it. To this moment. To this field far from the sea and the screams and the shadows.
For the first time in twelve years, Sirius Black didn’t feel only grief.
He felt hope.
Just the tiniest ember of it, buried beneath the ache and the madness and the ghosts. But it was there.
And as the deer family vanished silently into the trees, Sirius whispered into the grass, his voice cracked and barely there:
“I’m coming, Harry. I’m coming.”
The lupines nodded in the breeze.
PoA feels have consumed me. This was inspired by Within Temptation - The Swan Song

All the Light You Left Behind — 14k word one-shot that hurts in the best way.
In the quiet aftermath of war, Hermione Granger finds purpose as a healer’s apprentice—and her first assignment is Severus Snape. He is gravely ill, bitter, and barely clinging to life. She is determined, patient, and refuses to leave his side.
What begins as reluctant companionship deepens into something neither of them / expected. But time is not on their side. As Severus fades and Hermione is left to carry the weight of memory and love unspoken, she must decide how to go on in a world that keeps taking.
A story of grief and healing, starlight and legacy—and the rare, beautiful miracle of having existed together, even for a moment.
HEA—but you will have to earn it.
Artwork is my own. 💕

Sharing my composite render of my version of Severus Snape (as seen in my fic Ink & Alchemy). This is a labor of love—a little Alan Rickman, a little Adam Driver, my husband’s nose (used with permission), and a few random guys from Getty Images for the hair and stubble. I might have obsessed over the skin texture a bit. About 8-9 hours in Procreate, maybe 15 min in Lightroom for post-processing. More to come!

This is my “I don’t know what the fuck I’m doing” attempt at “artwork”. I can do digital compositing (and do it super well, I even used to get paid for it once upon a time) but draw something? I mean I drew a really nice eye once. Like, a decade ago. But hey, gotta start somewhere, right? Not that I’m starting anything I ever plan to finish. I just wanted to draw man-bun Snape, that’s all. And I did. And it doesn’t look like a total dumpster fire so I guess there’s that. Now I get to share my extremely amateur art with all of you while I tell myself I should really stick to writing.
Medium: a piece of notepad paper and a cheap little papermate mechanical pencil I found in a random drawer at work.

Ah but don’t forget the very next line!
“Lately, only those whom I could not save.”
Doesn’t sound like someone who routinely murders people.
No, while he is an accomplished duelist (by necessity), he was never brought into Voldemort’s ranks to be a soldier. He was there as Potions Master first and a spy second (or so Voldemort believed). It’s like a muggle scientist. No one puts them on the front lines expecting them to fight. For as unhinged as Voldemort was, his circle still had structure and clear roles.
“And My Soul, Dumbledore?” — The Case for Snape Never Killing Before That Night
We often talk about The Prince’s Tale as the final reveal of Severus Snape’s true loyalties—but there’s a moment in that chapter that gets overshadowed by the big memories, the Patronus, the “Always.” And yet it might be the most damning and revealing line in the entire series.
It’s this:
“And my soul, Dumbledore? Mine?”
Let’s sit with that for a second.
Snape is being asked to kill. Not for power, not for punishment, not for vengeance—but out of mercy. Dumbledore is dying. The end is already written. All he’s asking for is dignity.
And Snape balks.
He doesn’t recoil at the strategic risk. He doesn’t flinch at the morality of sparing Dumbledore’s life.
He flinches because of the possibility that this will damage his soul.
This isn’t the voice of a killer.
That one line unearths so much about who Snape is beneath the persona—beneath the spy, the double agent, the snarling teacher. It reveals that he has not taken a life before.
Because if he had? This would be a non-issue. He wouldn’t need to ask. The damage would already be done. The soul, already torn.
But instead, he stops and asks:
Will this be the thing that breaks me?
That’s the cry of a man standing on a line he hasn’t crossed.
And the fact that he still believes in the soul at all is deeply significant.
Let’s compare him to real killers in the series:
• Voldemort doesn’t flinch at murder—he does it for power, to fracture his soul on purpose.
• Bellatrix (and many other Death Eaters) kills for sport.
But Draco, when faced with the same choice, cannot do it. Harry, even in war, casts Expelliarmus.
And Snape—the supposed villain of the early books, the morally ambiguous double agent—asks if his soul will survive it.
He’s not worried about punishment. He’s worried about what killing will do to him.
That is not the thought process of a man with blood on his hands.
Dumbledore’s response is everything:
“You alone know whether it will harm your soul.”
Not “Your soul’s already lost.”
Not “It won’t make a difference.”
Not even “You have no choice.”
Dumbledore leaves it to him.
That means he believes Snape still has something to lose.
He wouldn’t ask this of someone whose soul was already fractured. He asks it of Snape because he knows this will be his first and only kill.
The implication is enormous.
This is a man who has done horrific things. He’s served Voldemort. He’s used dark magic. He’s endangered children.
But he has never killed. Not once.
And when he finally does, it’s to:
• Honour a dying man’s wishes.
• Spare a child’s soul (Draco’s).
• End suffering, not prolong it.
And even then, it tears at him.
So what does that make him?
A villain? An anti-hero? A deeply damaged man trying to atone? Maybe all of the above.
But not a murderer.
Not by choice. Not by pattern.
Just once. And it nearly breaks him.

Spoiler to chapter 49 and beyond of Ink & Alchemy ahead. Commissioned artwork from @safelia for this stunning scene with Remus. They did such a beautiful job I could seriously cry 💕

And there, in the middle of the garden, bathed in moonlight—
Remus.
Kneeling in the grass.
Human.
Her heart stuttered.
It had worked.

Hermione Granger is willing to do whatever it takes to keep Severus Snape alive. Lie. Manipulate. Take fate into her own hands.
He doesn’t want saving.
