Naive Rhaenyra AU final part

The takedown of Westeros was easier than expected. One went into this conquest expecting bloodshed from every noble house that are aligned to the blacks and the greens. It was expected that the two fractions would unite against their common enemy. However, the reality of the cold war between the blacks and the greens had weakened the noble houses. The trade between houses suffered due to the in-fighting. A lot of the fighting had also turned physical, not just by words. The smallfolk were suffering everywhere due to the trade being affected and due to Viserys’ weak reign that did not prioritize them. It was easy to bribe them with food to help integrate the faceless men Laenor hired into the red keep. The faceless men scouted the area and studied the hidden pathways. They had also helped in letting in the unsullied men that were purchased.

The day of the confrontation, Viserys the weak gave up his crown after his kingsgaurd were killed. Afterwards, the throne has cut Viserys as to affirm that Viserys isn’t worthy. Jace insisted that their healers must look him over. The healers discovered, in addition to the throne cuts, there were faint traces of poison in his system. King Jacaerys ordered a search of the rooms of the maesters, the entire council members, the green Targaryens, and the black Targaryens. He even ordered the search of empty rooms in case someone hid something there. The culprit was Mellos on the orders of the citadel and house Hightower. They also found correspondence regarding the poisoning of Aemma and the killing of her children in order to displace valyrian blood with andal.

Trials were held in the dragonpit. The look on Viserys’ face when he found that Otto sent Alicent to him was vindicating. Laenor would never forget how he pardoned Cole on the word of his whore. This was also the man who agreed with sending the boys away. There were other trials that led to the crippling of the green houses. Joffrey, on the orders of the king, executed all the heirs of the green houses which, ironically, forced them to have ruling ladies. That which they did to Targaryens was done to them.

The green Targaryens were not executed. However, Aegon and Aemond were sent to the wall due to their crimes. Aegon had multiple accounts of rape against him while Aemond had assaulted multiple squires in fits of anger and even killed two. Daeron requested to become a member of the new kingsgaurd and was approved. He has no love for those who abandoned him. Helaena had stayed with Alicent and just wanted to raise her children in peace. Alicent tried to petition Jaehaera to marry Jacaerys. She refused to try with Helaena since she was already married and her granddaughter was still pure. A child of six name days was being bargained for the crown to “reunite their branches and bring about a new era” without any consideration to her. What if Jace was one of those men who bed children? Luckily for Jaehaera, Jace refused.

Rhaenyra had tried to reconcile with Laenor and claim the boys as her own. She was rejected. She truly expected that Jace becoming king would solve all her issues. The boys were actively trying to avoid her and they did not claim the Targaryen name. They told everyone that they are Saera’s grandchildren to explain their looks. They also claimed another house as their own.

Corlys tried to broker an engagement of Baela and Rhaena to Jace and Luke with the promise that Luke would get the throne of Driftmark. A small price for Velaryon blood to end on the iron throne. This was also rejected. No Hightower nor Velaryon blood will end on the throne.

In the end, Jace and Luke married each other. After the reinstatement of a lot of valyrian laws and rituals, their marriage was legal and there were ways to have children. Joffrey married a Celtigar girl named Saraya. She wasn’t from the main branch and did not have valyrian looks but she was true warrior at heart. As for Laenor, he accomplished his main goal and got his son his birthright. He was now at peace and was able to travel the world as he pleased. He still visited his children but he was not in any hurry to settle down.

Naive Rhaenyra AU part 3-Reposted from deleted account

Laenor had been contemplating the big secret his boys have. He is not willing to invade their rooms to find out but he wants to be prepared should they come and tell him on their own. He suspects witchcraft. The dragonlords of Valyria have been known to have magic. It would make sense. He himself comes from Valyria. They also live the free cities where some worship the red god. Maybe they found books or found someone to teach them.

Laenor was not wrong. The boys are learning valyrian magic that went extinct in the doom. However, they are not learning from a book or a priest, they are learning magic from the source. The fourteen flames have been taking time to teach the boys elemental magic, prophecies, blood sacrifices, bloodline curses, warcraft, strategy, and secrets of Westeros that could help them win the silent war of the faith and prepare them for the long night.

Once the training was finished, Jacaerys, Lucerys, and Joffrey went to their father and told him the truth. Laenor was completely bewildered and needed time to accept everything. Laenor had always known that Jace deserves the crown. He’s the first born of Laenor and Rhaenyra. To know the gods themselves believed he deserves the crown was a great deal. This was not the main issue Laenor was having. The gods had to intervene to stop the animosity between the blacks and the greens. He is worried if the gods gave the Westerosi Targaryens a warning about him and the boys. Surprise is the most instrumental element for the plans Laenor had made.

Laenor had obtained an army from the Free Cities. He knew that in a war between the greens and the blacks, they both would have a Westerosi army but he knew that he can’t rely on that. Rhaenyra hid their children. Everyone knew of her pregnancies but not of her children living.

Afterwards, Laenor and his sons sneaked into dragonstone to get seasmoke and the other dragons. When Laenor smuggled the dragons out of the red keep and to dragonstone, he couldn’t get dragon keepers to take care of the hatchlings lest the greens find them and kill them. His son’s dragons were wild and difficult to control but the bonds they formed with his sons were stronger than average. Their sizes were larger as well. Even seasmoke had grown greatly in size when he was living with the others in the wild. Laenor believes this is the issue with the Targaryens of Westeros. They became too domesticated and small just like their chained dragons.

Low Tide in Twilight Different First Meeting, No debt AU

When Euihyun first saw the bundle on the floor, he was terrified. He immediately understood what happened. After all, he lived through it before when his mother abandoned him. His brother was also abandoned and left to be at the mercy of Kim Sahyeok.

Euihyun doesn’t know if he can raise a child. The only thing he is certain of is that he would never treat his brother the way Sahyeok treated him. But first, there are multiple things he needs to take care of. First, Euihyun needs to name his brother. Second, he needs to register his brother’s name and get his birth certificate. Third, he needs to find a way to fight for his brother’s custody and to get himself and his brother out of this hell hole.

Euihyun named his little brother Kim Euiyoung. He wanted their names to be similar.

When Euihyun went to register the name and get a birth certificate, the cleric assumed Euihyun is the omega father. They look similar enough and Euihyun was almost 18 years old so it was a safe assumption.

The misunderstanding gave Euihyun an idea. It would be difficult to get custody of Euiyoung if he registered his real biological parents. While it would be a scandal for a teen to have a child, it was an easy way out. The only way to contest the birth certificate would be through the courts and Kim Sahyeok would never spend money on his kid. Euihyun already has a job to get himself food and other necessities since Sahyeok left him to starve by himself.

Registering as Euiyoung’s parent allowed Euihyun to make a run for it and leave with his brother once he turns 18.

As expected, Sahyeok did not pay any attention to Euiyoung other than knowing his name. He expected Euihyun to take care of everything which he did.

After turning 18 and leaving, Euihyun got a second job at a restaurant. He had already saved money from his first job to get a deposit on an apartment, so they didn’t end up homeless. He was also lucky that one of his neighbors was an old lady who babysat her grandchildren and would babysit Euiyoung when Euihyun was at work. However, Euihyun struggles continued. Even with leaving Sahyeok, Euihyun’s mental health was damaged by years of abuse. His constant state of overwork led to a breakdown which led to a suicide attempt.

After the suicide attempt, Euihyun went to both of his jobs to let them know that he needed to take time off to take care of his mental health. His first job didn’t react well, and he was fired. His job at the resteraunt was secured after Euihyun came clean to the manager. The manager softened considerably towards Euihyun and helped Euihyun find resources. He also let Euihyun take priority when considering the schedule. He also allowed Euihyun to bring his brother in the days Euiyoung was clingy or their old neighbor couldn’t watch Euiyoung.

Euihyun started going to therapy regularly and put on antidepressants. He also got into art therapy and discovered he is a talented painter.

Two years later, Euihyun enrolled in university as an arts major. He continued to work at the restaurant but for reduced hours. It was at this stage of life that he met Yeo Taeju.

The alpha went to the restaurant with his cousin. Euihyun heard from other waiters that he is a regular and the owner of the restaurant at that. This, however, did not dissuade Euihyun from rejecting Taeju’s advances.

Taeju began being more intrigued about the omega. It was rare for omegas to reject Taeju and even those who rejected him were not as harsh as Euihyun.

The manager paid attention to Taeju’s attempts at flirtation. At the end of the night, the manager approached Taeju and asked him not to mess with Euihyun. Euihyun is a strong omega, but he did not deserve to be played with. He has a kid, a job, and university work. He cannot afford distractions, nor does he deserve to be used.

This talk made Taeju even more interested in Euihyun and decided to gather information. He found out that Euihyun had worked at the restaurant for over two years but his schedule always contradicted Taeju’s which was the reason for not meeting him earlier. Euihyun was abandoned by his mother and his father was a scumbag. He has a son with an unknown alpha (based on the birth certificate) who will begin kindergarten soon.

Taeju began approaching Euihyun outside the restaurant with the hopes of sleeping with him once, then he would leave him alone. This led to a very reluctant friendship.

Euihyun knew Taeju only wanted to sleep with him and nothing else. His father is Kim Sahyeok so he understands scumbag alphas. He still couldn’t help but fall for Taeju.

It took Euihyun six months to decide that he would sleep with Taeju once so that Taeju would leave him alone. He realized that Taeju was becoming a fixture in his life, and he didn’t want to disrupt Euiyoung’s life when Taeju got sick of the friendship and leave. He also wanted to lose his virginity to someone he loves even though the feelings were not reciprocated.

Euihyun’s friends tried to talk him out of it. They told him they could find him another alpha who would deserve him. Euihyun’s mind was made up and the only thing his friends can do is stay with him during the fallout.

Taeju was feeling delighted that Euihyun was finally accepting his advances. His original plan was to have sex and dip out, but he decided that he will stay in Euihyun’s life regardless. He wants to be someone important to Euihyun.

After the deed was done, Taeju did not ghost Euihyun which made Euihyun very anxious. He had thought he knew Taeju well enough, and this unpredictability led to Euihyun spiraling.

Euihyun eventually had a breakdown that Taeju witnessed. He questioned Taeju about his intentions and why he was playing with him after getting what he wanted. He also told the truth about everything. His childhood. Lying on government documents. His depression and suicide attempt. Everything.

In the end, Euihyun begged Taeju to leave him alone. He has so much to worry about and he needs to stay healthy if he wants Euiyoung to have a good future. He doesn’t deserve to be played with.

Upon Taeju learning everything, he had taken the time to contemplate his feelings towards Euihyun. This was the first time to feel like this towards another person. He had not thought much about love, but hearing about everything Euihyun went through, had opened a dam inside him. He knew he could not let go but decided to give Euihyun some space. In the meantime, he will try to figure out his feelings.

Of course, Taeju’s first stop in the matter of love was his parents. He would usually talk with his cousin about his concerns, but he knew she wouldn’t be much help to him. She was the one who encouraged him that playing with Euihyun to get what he wanted was acceptable.

Taeju heard the story of how his parents fell in love and got together a hundred times. This time, however, would be the first time he will be paying attention and asking questions.

Yoo Jooin and Yeo Taehwa were perplexed with Taeju’s request. They had given up on Taeju finding love and settling down, so they didn’t have high hopes. They still gave in to his request.

After a lot of contemplation and being unable to see Euihyun for a month, Taeju understood his feelings and decided not to let Euihyun go. Conveniently, this happened around the time when Euiyoung’s father showed up and was giving Euihyun trouble. Euihyun had been in therapy for years and had savings, so he decided to fight Euiyoung’s father in court if needed. The only issue would be the paternity test.

Taeju showed up when Euiyoung’s father was upping the harassment and making Euihyun anxious. Taeju realized that going to court would take too much time and money. He and Euihyun were not in a place yet where Euihyun would accept his help, so he had a talk with Euiyoung’s father on his own. They had a similar discussion to the one in the manhwa.

Euihyun reluctantly agreed to be in a relationship with Taeju. They went on small dates and spent almost all their free time together. When Euihyun and Taeju finally got to a good place, Euihyun was kidnapped by the Yeo family competitors to get the contract. The main issue here was that Euihyun did not know of Taeju’s family work.

The Yeo family tried everything to get Euihyun back and they did. Taeju still got hurt but there was no miscarriage, so their relationship was able to recover from the deception. Euihyun was still angry that Taeju was not honest with him.

The Yeo family was ecstatic that Taeju will finally settle down and that he found someone who can stand him for more than five minutes. They adopted Euihyun and Euiyoung into the family even before Euihyun marries Taeju.

Naive Rhaenyra AU part 2

The Fourteen Flames had often facepalmed at the decisions of the Targaryens. Truly, they should have chosen another house to save humanity from the doom. The doom was set to happen as any other natural disaster. Nature is ever changing and no amount of magic would postpone the changes forever. Before the doom, Valyrians had grown bold and believed themselves to be on par with the gods enough to survive it. The doom was coming followed by the long night. The long night would destroy life as it is. Other gods are not as powerful as they are so it is their responsibility to change the outcome. Valyrian magic and dragons are powerful enough to stop the long night once and for all. The Targaryens were the lowest dragonriding house in Valyria. They were not as arrogant or greedy as the rest. Their men were weak but their women compensate their weakness in magic and intelligence. They were the best Valyrian option. This had spurred the gods into sending dreams of the doom to warn Daenys.

The Targaryens fled the doom but their lack of ambition made them content with their life. The Fourteen Flames decided to intervene once again by sending dreams to Rhaenys. Rhaenys had told her siblings and they became the king and queens of Westeros. Due to the traditions of Westeros, Rhaenys decided to make an inscription on her brother's Blackfyre to serve as a reminder of the prophecy. Her reason was that the Andals listened and respected Aegon's opinion over hers and Visenya's which drove her wife mad. Both wives tried to convince Aegon to make other thrones or start making laws that would give women power. To make Westeros a new Valyria. While Aegon was in favor of abolishing the many laws that physically harmed women, he had assimilated to the Andal culture and became complacent to many of their practices. He wanted to be accepted and respected by the Andals. Rhaenys had accepted this answer but she wanted to make a reminder of the dream. To ensure that future Targaryens would not forget their true purpose in Westeros. When Jaehaerys came to power, he claimed the prophecy to be Aegon's instead of Rhaenys and limited the number of members who know of the prophecy to the king and his heir.

Due to the unsuccessful reign of Aegon, Aenys, Maegor, and Jaehaerys, the Fourteen Flames decided to send a warning to Viserys. They sent him a dream that his pursue of a son would cause the death of dragons. In true fashion of a Targaryen man, Viserys believed the dream to be a promise of a great son instead of a warning. His actions led to more disasters. Rhaenyra did not help the matters either. She is as smart and capable as any Targaryen woman. She is a true dragon. She is the true heir. However, all the great qualities that would make her a great queen was snuffed due to the neglect she suffered from her parents who only remembered they had a child when they wanted to be hopeful they would have a son. She became even more of a disappointment than Viserys. She sent her blood away and became a sheep. Her own dragon became lazy and weak.

The Fourteen Flames had tried everything with the Targaryens but no intervention was understood in the way it was intended. This led to one last thing to save the world of men from the dead. They had to meet with the Targaryens directly. They would not meet Viserys or Rhaenyra. They both proved to be weak and complacent. Daemon is too violent and no one listens to him. Viserys' children from Alicent are savages. Rhaenys became more of a Velaryon than a Targaryen at this point. The Fourteen Flames will meet with the Velaryon boys. Laenor Velaryon claimed them and the blood of the dragon runs thick. They are protective and noble. The heir who was promised will come from their blood.

The boys suffered abuse when they were young. They were separated from their dragons at a young age and had to discover what it meant to be a true dragon in the Free Cities. They know the way of the world and are willing to change it. They were the perfect valyrians.

The Fourteen Flames began visiting the boys. They would give them gifts and would teach them the blood magic that was lost in the doom. They also awakened the Velaryon blood in their veins since the boys seem to despise the Targaryen blood they share as a reward for their hard work. Their coloring started to change. Their skin started to tan and their hair became silver. The changes delighted the boys since they also started to resemble their father.

Naive Rhaenyra part 1-Reposted from deleted account

Rhaenyra's POV

Rhaenyra had been feeling anxious over Alicent being late to her wedding. Alicent had been distant since the brothel incident. Rhaenyra had not lied to her friend but she was not honest with her. The guilt from that thin line had Rhaenyra worried if their friendship can survive this.

Upon Alicent's entrance to the hall, Rhaenyra felt a wave of relief. Alicent probably knows the truth. She called her "stepdaughter." Rhaenyra still hopes their friendship will survive. After all, their friendship survived Alicent sneaking to her father's rooms and supplanting her mother. It can survive an almost lie from Rhaenyra.

The wedding, in the truest fashion of any Westeros wedding, had blood spilled. A lot of people were hurt. Only Ser Joffrey Lonmouth, who was Laenor's lover, was killed by Ser Criston. Alicent had sued for leniency towards Criston. Rhaenyra, wanting to appease her friend, did not speak against it. However, this had affected her relationship with Laenor. She had already confided in Laenor that she bedded Ser Criston and he believed that she should have punished her knight. Laenor could not bed her this night. Nor the following night. Or any other night.

Moons after the wedding, whispers started to get louder at her supposed inheritance of queen Aemma's infertility and why couldn't she be more like queen Alicent who gave the king two children with a third on the way. Alicent herself had started pressuring Rhaenyra into doing something to solve this issue. Anything. Eventually Rhaenyra bedded Ser Harwin Strong and got pregnant. Laenor started to soften towards her after hearing of her pregnancy. The birth of Jacaerys was the happiest moment of her and Laenor's life. However, Alicent took Rhaenyra to the side and discussed Jacaerys's options. Her friend was worried that the brown hair would weaken Rhaenyra's claim and urged her to have a child with Valyrian features. Rhaenyra had then told her the truth of the child's parentage. Alicent was very understanding and laid the blame on Laenor for not doing his duty.

Rhaenyra and Laenor had a discussion about their options in which Rhaenyra admitted to Laenor that she agrees with Alicent about Jacaerys. She decided to send Jacaerys away to live with his paternal uncle. Laenor had been heartbroken. Rhaenyra reassured him that they could try for another child with valyrian coloring.

Laenor and Rhaenyra had tried for moons to do their duty but nothing worked. This led Rhaenyra to seek Harwin again. Her logic was that Jacaerys was flawed. Jaehaerys and Alysanne were light-skinned with Valyrian features regardless of having a Velaryon mother. Rhaenyra's own mother had an Arryn father but inherited Valyrian features from her mother. This second child will have Valyrian looks.

Lucerys did not have her hair but his eyes were violet and he resembled her a lot.

His eyes were not enough.

Rhaenyra talked with Alicent again and Alicent agreed that if Laenor cannot bed Rhaenyra then she should find someone who will. She should continue doing what she has been doing until she begets a child with Valyrian features. Rhaenyra sent Lucerys to live with Larys Strong and his brother. Laenor stopped talking with Rhaenyra and stopped trying to bed her. Even though Rhaenyra lost two children and the love of her cousin, she knows that her claim is important and that she should ensure that nothing would compromise it.

Laenor's POV

Laenor had to endure a betrayal after the other in his short life. His parents betrayed him when they forced him to wed Rhaenyra. Laena betrayed him when she ran away with Daemon without keeping contact and with no care for him. Rhaenyra had betrayed him when she did not seek justice for Joffrey. Rhaenyra had also betrayed him when she sent their children away. His children. He did not sire Jacaerys and Lucerys but the moment he saw them, he knew. He knew he was their father and nothing would change that.

He knew he wants to leave Westeros. He cannot handle Rhaenyra sending away their children and his parents pressuring him to bed her. They knew his preferences. His father was upset over the children sent away since they have no heir to the iron throne and the driftmark throne. His mother was happy that the children were sent away but was upset that Rhaenyra went outside their marriage for children. Laenor had started planning to fake his death and to bring his children with him. He tried to meet with Laena in Pentos in hopes of having a place of residence there before uprooting the children's lives but she refused to see him. She claimed that he is the same as their parents and is being punished for doing his duty towards them. She wanted nothing to do with their parents or him since their father refused to name Baela his heir.

Rhaenyra is pregnant again which made Laenor postpone his plans. He wanted to see if his parents will finally get their valyrian grandchild.

Rhaenyra told Laenor that if the child is a boy, she would name him Joffrey in honor of his lost love. He knows that she wants to fix their relationship but she does not know yet that some things cannot be fixed. When Rhaenyra gave birth, he saw a familiar strands of dark hair and knew immediately what will happen.

Laenor had been very depressed from each loss he endured for a crown that won't even be for him. His only consolation was that the Hightower queen's children were unable to hatch or claim dragons while his children's eggs hatched. He made sure that the dragons would not be killed and smuggled them to dragonstone. He claimed that he needs a few days for himself away from Rhaenyra and his parents. There, he faked his death to free himself from the shackles of the crown.

It was quite difficult tracking his children down. He knew that Rhaenyra sent letters to them regularly but he also knew that the highwhore and her lapdogs wouldn't let any of those letters arrive. Rhaenyra had not allowed him to send the letters directly since she didn't trust he won't compromise her claim but she did tell him that they are with their paternal uncle. He also knew that a knight had sired them. He made a list of all the white cloaks and could not find his children with any of their families. He then made a list of all the gold cloaks and tried to find them.

At first, it didn't cross his mind that Ser Harwin Strong is the father of his children. He knew that Harwin is loyal to Daemon but he believed that this loyalty will stop him from pursuing anything with Rhaenyra. When he saw that his last option was Harwin Strong, he decided to still investigate his family.

While he couldn't find the boys with Larys, he found the man send servants to a small cabinet in the woods. There he found his boys. The living conditions they had to endure were not decent even for cattle. Laenor was watching them closely and realized that no adult had visited them all day after the servant's visit. Apparently that was the care fitting for the children of the heir to the throne, true Targaryens who hatched their eggs in their cradle. The entire ordeal sickened him. A boy of six namedays was trying to to feed a boy of three namedays. The bread looked stale and was the only thing the boys had. He didn't understand. Didn't Harwin visit them at all? If blood was all that matter, how could Harwin not intervene and defend his blood?

After two days of watching, Laenor approached the boys. They were terrified of him. They tried to run away but Lucerys fell and his brothers went back for him. Jacaerys was begging him to hurt him and not his brothers. Laenor's heart was breaking all over again.

It took time to earn their trust and for them to allow him to take care of them. Once they started opening up, they told him about their mistreatment at the hand of Larys Strong. How he visits them once a month to give them food. If they finished the food, they would starve for days. He would hit them with his cane and would play games with them. He would go to Jace and tell him that if he performed certain degrading acts, he would not hurt his siblings. Even when Jace does what he wants, he would go to Luke and say the same thing. Joffrey is too young to understand shame or feel degraded so he only opts to beat him up.

Finding out how horrifying his children's lives are, he tried to get them to come with him. He doesn't know where they will go. Laenor wanted to give his children the world but he can only give them stability for now. It is the least they deserve.

10 Years later

Laenor had been living the best life he can. He has a wonderful lover and three beautiful children. The boys are happy and thriving in the free cities. He loves his boys and he knows they love him back. Jacaerys is the perfect heir anyone would wish for. Lucerys is his little pearl. So sweet and brave. Joffrey is a menace that would go to great lengths to protect his family. He truly loves each and every one of them but he cannot shake the feeling that they are hiding something from him. He had seen how Jacaerys and Lucerys would look at each other and he knows that they are twin flames. But this is not what they are hiding. No. It is something else. Something that involves Joffrey too. He was thinking about following the boys and finding out but understands he cannot betray their trust. He has to wait for them.

Laenor has eyes and ears in kingslanding. His sister passed away from the childbirth bed as many women in their family had. Daemon married Rhaenyra before the mourning period ended. Their union had not yielded fruit despite Daemon siring children before and Rhaenyra's experience in childbirth. Rhaenyra is in dire need of an heir yet she has been unable to birth one. There had been whispers about Aegon being her heir. He is her brother. Daemon had been Viserys' heir for years. Other whispers mentioned about Baela being her heir. She is Rhaenyra's stepdaughter and a full Valyrian, unlike Aegon. She is also a dragon rider. Rhaenyra is stuck in the middle of her greatest two loves. Alicent and Daemon. She does not know who to choose. Ironic considering that neither would choose her if the other option was Otto Hightower or Viserys respectively. They had already done that. He wonders if Rhaenyra knows. He hopes she does.

Everytime Laenor hears of problems in kingslanding with Rhaenyra, something ugly inside him feels satisfied. He heard of her attempts to find the boys too. Larys Strong claimed that a fire claimed the lives of the boys. The whispers claimed that Rhaenyra wailed like a real mother would. The conflict between the Hightowers and Daemon reached a great height that the Fourteen Flames had to intervene. Other than hearing of this, he could not discover what was discussed. Only that the Faith called the Fourteen Flames false idols and that the Hightowers are pushing for Aegon to be Rhaenyra's heir even more than before. Nothing had been heard about the reaction of the Targeryens or Velaryons.

Laenor had thought of taking the opportunity to gain support for Jacaerys and get him a crown. This was also an opportunity to reunite them with their dragons. He would also love to meet his nieces and reunite with Daemon. The future is looking bright. No matter how the Hightowers try to retaliate, Laenor knows him and his children are true dragons and he would give them their birthright with fire and blood.

Rhaenyra and Laenor consulted different healers and fertility witches from Essos so they can have children without sex. One of the methods worked and Rhaenyra got pregnant. After 8 months and a half, she gave birth to Jacearys who had her hair and Laenor's skin and eye color. Rhaenyra reveled in the bewildered look Alicent had on her face. Rhaenyra is not as blind as her father when it comes to the whore. She heard the whispers of bastardy from her early pregnancy days. She knows that the green court believed the whispers to be true. The looks on their faces were very entertaining. The looks, however, changed from bewilderment to fear when Jace's egg had hatched while none of her siblings hatched dragons and they were all too young to claim one.

It didn't take long after the egg hatched for the assassination attempts to begin. The first attempt happened during a council meeting. He was a spoiled lord from a minor house from the reach who has never killed anyone, let alone a child, before. He broke down weeping. Truly, it is a marvel that he was able to reach the nursery. He was executed by dragonfire. The second attempt happened during the night. This time the assassin was a professional but he died by the white cloaks. The third attempt happened during early morning. It was one of the nursing maids. Vermax burned her but did not kill her. She was fired and the attempt was ruled an accidental event. After the third attempt, Rhaenyra and Laenor went to Viserys and they both questioned how is it that Daeron and Jacaerys share everything but it is always Jacaerys that is targeted. Alicent protested loudly over the insinuation and begged Viserys to not let them insult her. Viserys had not believed that there is any foul play and that assassination attempts happen all the time when you are a prince of the realm. After many attempts to force Viserys to begin an internal investigation over who could be behind those attempts, Rhaenyra and Laenor had decided that it would be safer for their son to live in Dragonstone.

After the move, Rhaenyra only went to the red keep when there was a council meeting. Viserys had been upset over the new development but would not move a finger against his wife. After Rhaenyra gave birth to Lucerys, she had a dream of the demise of the dragons and the conspiracies that are against the house of the dragon since Aegon's conquest. She woke up and decided to answer Alicent's call of war with action. She had gathered her family for a consultation and shared with them her dream and Aegon's dream. Rhaenys being Aemon's heir had already known about Aegon's dream and agreed that some form of action should be taken. Corlys was eager to avenge the lack of action against the Triarchy, the insult to his daughter, and the assassination attempts of his grandchild. He offered to take the Velaryon fleet and block ships from arriving to Oldtown. He had also suggested to bribe Greyjoy to move against the Lannisters. Rhaenys then suggested to turn the smallfolk against the king and his green whore. This was easy since Viserys and Alicent neglected the smallfolk. Aemma had cared and tried her best despite the pregnancies. The insult against the Good Queen Aemma when her husband married before the mourning period ended did upset the smallfolk.

A year after, Viserys held an emergency meeting over the complaints he's getting from Oldtown. There had been a blockade and the ships have to divert to deliver their shipment to Oldtown. The extra time led to Oldtown receiving spoiled food. Alicent wanted him to call on the Velaryon and Lannister fleets to solve the blockade. Rhaenyra, however, catered to his peacekeeping tendencies. She minimized the threat of the blockades. It certainly is a problem that doesn't concern the crown and a few blockades won't make the people of Oldtown suffer. She was also certain that Viserys does not want to show too much preference to one house. He is known to be a fair king and any special treatment would not be perceived well. This had shut down all opposition.

A year later, things had only gotten worse. The blockade matter did resolve itself. No one found out who was behind it. Shipments are being received more regularly. They have new problems now. Septs and houses are being set on fire. Oldtown is not the only place with problems. The Greyjoys ransacked small towns surrounding Lannisport and the smallfolk started to revolt against the king. Rhaenyra eventually had to intervene with the smallfolk and send them food and she dedicated a specific amount to orphanages. Rhaenyra had also conducted an investigation regarding the fires in Oldtown. It was found out that some of the maesters were experimenting in making weapons that would be more effective against dragons and they had to practice using the weapons somewhere. Those maesters were brought up and executed by dragon fire.

After Viserys had found out how the actions of his daughter brought peace to the realm again, he invited the lords and ladies of major houses to kingslanding. He also invited Rhaenyra and the Velaryons. In front of the entire council and the Velaryons, Viserys announced that he intends to name Rhaenyra regent queen. The green council were beyond themselves and were reminding the king that he is still healthy (HA!) with many years till his reign end. Rhaenyra said that she cannot accept being a regent. You could hear a pin drop in the council room. Alicent looks like she was going to faint. She repeated her sentiment and said that she only needs a favor from his Grace. To conduct an internal investigation on the assassination attempts on Jacaerys. This time, Viserys agreed since he owed Rhaenyra after she restored the peace of the realm. The investgation yielded shocking results. It was discovered that Alicent, Otto, Larys Strong, Tyland Lannister, and others were behind the assassination. Viserys ordered them to be thrown in the black cells. Alicent was crying and screaming profanities. She called Rhaenyra a witch and a heretic but she was dragged away all the same. That night, Viserys had a heart attack but still survived. Now, Rhaenyra truly needed to step up as regent before the green council exploit the opportunity. Her reign began that night even if she only had the regent title. She had Otto, Larys, and Tyland executed and shipped Alicent and her children to Oldtown, ensuring that her half siblings won't be able to claim a dragon.

Even though, Rhaenyra had won in all the means of the word, she could not forgive nor forget the torment Alicent put her through. She needed to take everything from Alicent, the same way Alicent had taken everything away from her. While Rhaenyra knew that Alicent was not the mastermind behind the plan to seduce Viserys, Rhaenyra also knew that Alicent was not entirely innocent. A lady in their world cannot afford to be too naive to believe that Otto did not want Viserys to sully her. Alicent, who had always been too self-righteous about her gods, knows that bedding a man who is not her husband is a sin to the seven, yet she did it anyway. Alicent had taken their friendship and trampled on it. She had comforted Viserys without doing her duty to Rhaenyra. She had destroyed Viserys' image to Rhaenyra. Before her mother's death, Rhaenyra had thought that she was the problem. Her father had loved her mother and had she been born a boy then her father would not have tortured her mother with multiple pregnancies and miscarriages. After she heard her father announce that he would wed Alicent, she knew that she was not the problem. He is. If he had loved her mother, he wouldn't immediately bed Alicent. Rhaenyra heard from the servants that Alicent had visited him the night of the funeral. They also told Rhaenyra that they found blood on the sheets ten days after the funeral. Rhaenyra's own dreams had showed her proof of this. Rhaenyra was never the problem, her father was. Otto was the problem. Alicent was too. It isn't enough to exile Alicent and kill her father. She had to take her children too. Ruin them the same way Alicent ruined Rhaenyra.

Rhaenyra had called her brothers to become squires and called her sister to be her lady in waiting. This action was seen as benevolent by the court but it was anything but. From her dreams, Rhaenyra had already known a lot about her siblings. No matter what happens, Helaena is not suitable for the court. The ladies who were ignored in favor of her mother would retaliate against her ten fold the insult they perceived. Eventually, Helaena would ask her sister to return to Oldtown. When she did, Alicent had admonished Helaena for ruining her only chance at finding a husband. Aegon was already known be a drunkard and a whoremonger but to be known as such and to be seen as such are two different things. There are still lords who are in favor of Aegon being named heir. Rhaenyra's spies had told her that Alicent had been in contact with those lords and hope to usurp her when Viserys died. The moment Aegon is alone in the court, without his mother, he had no care for appearances and lost his allies. Aemond was too busy following their uncle Daemon in order to learn everything in hopes of receiving a dragon than to focus on keeping his brother in line. His obsession with dragons led him to be maimed when the Cannibal (the last dragon Aemond tried to claim) rejects him. Daeron has the best fate out of the Hightargs. He shares the same queer taste as Laenor. He was completely enamored with Lucerys and would follow Lucerys to Driftmark when the time comes. Alicent would see the downfall of her children and would be unable to do anything.

Alicent and Larys are discovered AU-Reposted from deleted account

The septas stripped Alicent of her garments and cut her hair in preparation of her walk of shame. Even though it was Larys who was taking pleasure and not her. He did not even defile her. Only stared at her feet with a hand on his manhood. Yet, Alicent is the one being punished.

The discovery of Alicent holding her dress up and showing her feet to Larys was a shock to everyone in the keep. How could the pious queen, who was dutiful to her husband and her house, commit an atrocity that one would expect from the crown princess? Unless... none of the rumors regarding the princess were true. After all the queen said that the children looked Strong but she is the one engaging with a Strong.

The king was the one who discovered Alicent and Larys. Viserys had been having dreams of dragons falling from the sky and dying. It was similar to his dream of a son. The dragons were wailing around a Valyrian looking man with Aegon the conqueror crown on his head. He had thought that they were wailing from the greatness of the king but the dreams were more vivid recently and showed that they bloodied and dying. These dreams had started after Alicent refused Rhaenyra's proposal to betroth Helaena to Jacaerys. While Viserys thought that those were nothing more than nightmares, he still wanted comfort from his wife and he went to visit her instead of asking for her. He was hoping that the walk would make him feel better. Once he reached her chamber, the kingsguards initially refused to let the king in. Viserys was shocked at the blatant disrespect shown to him. Only when Ser Westerling threatened them did they let the king in. Viserys, from his anger, did not even allow them to announce him to the queen. What he'd seen upon entry shocked the king to the core. Larys had his manhood out and was pleasuring himself while the queen had her feet exposed on top of a footstool.

The king had called for the small council immediately. First thing announced was the demotion of Otto as the hand of the king and that Rhaenyra would become hand. Second, Viserys announced his annulment from Alicent and his decision to execute both her and Larys Strong. This led to an uproar from the entire council. This council consisted mostly of the greens. Viserys relayed the events of the previous night. He had also said that there are a lot of dragonseeds in kingslanding and he cannot know entirely that the children are his. They look like their mother but in Valyrian colors. Viserys is unsure about how to proceed with the children but he wanted to have Alicent executed. Rhaenyra had spoken on Alicent's behalf and appealed for a lighter punishment. After going back and forth a lot, the meeting concluded with the king ordering the kingsgaurd to throw the queen in the black cells and to order septas to prepare her for a walk of shame and declare her a royal mistress (he still desired her physically). Otto knew that Aegon's position would be in danger if the news about the queen's actions reached the realm but the king was determined to make an example out of her. The small council were unsure what to do. On one hand, they don't want to weaken Aegon's position but they could come up with no excuses for the queen other to beg the king for leniency. She was caught and even if they knew Otto whored her to the king, the situation at hand was different. On the other hand, other than Rhaenyra's children's hair and eye color, she had never been caught in the act. They have been building a case against her with other houses based on how her children look. If they begged the king for leniency in a case where the queen was discovered by him, then this would set a precedent against them should Rhaenyra ever get discovered. As for Rhaenyra herself, this was a golden opportunity to get back at Alicent for all the rumors and mistreatments. She told her servants to spread the word about what happened the moment she found out. She begged her father for leniency towards her former friend and stepmother in order to appear a benevolent princess. Perception does matter after all and she made sure that her half siblings hear about everything.

Once Rhaenyra spoke in favor of forgiving Alicent's affair, it was over for Alicent. The council would never allow Alicent go unpunished since Rhaenyra tried to defend her (the problem with making everyone hate Rhaenyra enough to go against her is that they would go against her even if it would benefit them to support her). Viserys thought that his daughter was simply a good friend to Alicent. However, the rumors already spread and Viserys was still angry at the betrayal. Another accidental side effect of Rhaenyra defending Alicent was that her half siblings actually tried to get close to her. For the first time, Rhaenyra let them too. Even if the council tried to get Aegon crowned, he would refuse to go against his sister whom he loves. As for Alicent, she nearly went mad when Rhaenyra defended her and when all the men in her life, that she performed her duty to, wanted her punished. She was mad when they all wanted her to paraded in the streets and to strip her of her queen and lady titles to become a mere mistress. Viserys himself had implied that if other men wanted a go at her, then she should spread her legs since he cannot stop her from doing so when she was a queen.

After Alicent's walk of shame, the number of the greens dwindled. When the time for Rhaenyra to be crowned, there was no real opposition. The ones who wanted to oppose her were too scared to. Rhaenyra had become the first queen in the history of Westeros and she was not the last. Her first decision was to relieve Alicent from the royal mistress title and to affirm that if anyone had tried to have sex with Alicent, without her consent, they would be punished. At this point, Alicent had been sexually assaulted by many men (mostly men who used to be greens and saw women as nothing more than broodmares) and she wanted to do anything to stop them. Her father still wanted to whore her out since it was the discovery of her and Larys that ruined everything. After all the deals Otto made to restore the reputation of house Hightower, nothing had worked. Everyone was too afraid of the dragon queen to get a few minutes of pleasure with the whore queen. The reputation of the Hightowers never recovered. This was the second Hightower married to a king and she was hailed the worst queen consort in history.
