Do you all remember when I drew the crappy piplup sprite three years ago back in 2022? Well, I decided to actually try to do a pixel art sprite of an original design for a fakemon. It’s a rock and (either fairy or poison) type. I don’t have a good name for this guy yet cause I low key suck at naming things. In case anyone’s wondering, it’s a rock type because its inspiration came from those rocks people paint and decorate and put in their gardens (which is the kind of whimsy I expect from fairy types). I probably could have done a better job with that concept but I heard it’s not good to overload the design with too many different colors so I kept it under 8. I don’t know if that’s still to many but I think it looks fine

It’s been 5 months but I’m here now. I’m have been all over the place in terms of interests. I’m not too into octonauts anymore since there’s not much content that I can consume. Since it’s Halloween season, I’ve been into creepypasta for like a week and that one fnf mod, hypno’s lullaby. now it’s all about beyblade. I’ve learned Moses parted the sea with a bey. I used to be pretty into beyblade metal fusion when I was younger and now I started watching burst. I hate to admit it but the anime beyblade burst is so much better than metal. Even the opening song is cooler. The only thing metal’s got going for it at this point is nostalgia. I personally really like how you can actually see the details of the beys and when they’re spinning in burst compared to metal

I’m actually not sure what Valts bey is called cause there’s like two different answers and idk which ones correct. Anyways, as you can see there’s a lot more detail put into the models of the beys in Burst than Metal. Also the voice acting for burst is a whole lot better (English dub). In Metal, it was actually a bit hard to sit through sometimes but in Burst it’s way better. I still love the metal saga for Beyblade cause nostalgia hits hard but I just can’t lie to myself when I know Burst is so much better (so far) in quality (only talking about the anime). They were made in completely different times though so I will give it that. 3D animation in cartoons doesn’t look like complete garbage anymore so it makes sense. I should also probably say that I actually haven’t finished either anime to completion yet. I just can’t really stand Ginga’s voice and I only just started watching Burst after I stopped hating it for being something new and unfamiliar to me.

Idk why I do that for everything, first it was when dantdm first played riddle school, then it was Pokemon sun and moon the anime, then I saw the Commercial thing for Beyblade bursts when I still had cable tv on Disney XD and I immediately despised it for no reason at all. All of these things I actually enjoyed after I got over my immediate hatred. And then it’s when the series ends that I actually go and watch it and I find myself having a good time. Why can’t I enjoy a show while it’s still airing and stuff? I could have enjoyed it with others at its peak and look forward to the next episode with them.

I don’t think I’ve ever had my own bey before. My sister had one from the metal series and she let me use it a couple time. There was no one to battle with though so I never got any of the cool experiences. Because of this, I really can’t speak about the quality of the Beyblades that were actually sold to people. I would really like one but it’s sorta like Pokémon, you can technically play it by yourself but friends are highly encouraged. You can own two Pokémon games and two consoles to trade with yourself same as you can own two Beyblades and battle yourself, but is it really the same? All my friends are not into beyblades so I couldn’t really hold a friend group tournament or anything like that. Also I’m kinda broke anyways so I guess it doesn’t matter.

A little side note: I actually don’t really know if I’m supposed to call them “beys” or “Beyblades” I’m pretty sure I’ve heard them both ways but I’m not entirely sure.

You ever just faint because you forgot to breathe?

Today in PE when I was dressing out, sitting on a bench to take my inhaler and if you don’t know, you have to hold your breath for about 10 seconds after breathing in the medicine. I wasn’t counting however as I was instead lost in thought. I started getting lightheaded and I forgot what I was doing. This should’ve been my cue to start breathing again but that clearly didn’t happen. The world and myself didn’t feel real anymore, almost like I was in a dream state. I started wondering why I was feeling like this (not even realizing I was holding my breath) everything around me started to sound muffled and words weren’t processing in my head. My body started to feel heavy and then I was falling backwards onto the floor. I guess that forced me into breathing again since I’m not dead but I was feeling really disoriented and didn’t really understand what was going on or what I was doing. I looked down at my hand and saw my inhaler. I realized I was accidentally holding my breath longer than I should’ve and my friends were asking if I was okay.

That was the most interesting thing to happen to me in a while so I thought I’d share :)

Make sure you pay attention when you’re holding your breath so you don’t faint like I did

One time me any friends were talking about liver failure, and I accidentally mixed up livers and kidneys and told them, “just use the other one. I mean, we have two for a reason,” so now I canonically have two livers in my friend groups lore

actually i think the word platonic should be used in the same way as 'romantic'. like 'that's really platonic of you', 'this is such a platonic setting' and 'you're a hopeless platonic" for example

Opened up my drawing app because I realized I haven’t drawn anything in ages and ended up with a design for a dress. It’s not anything spectacular but I think it looks nice enough to share.

I think a good way to describe a qpr is by using my Guinea pigs as an example.

My Guinea pigs very close with each other and do not like being apart. They are bonded to each other and hopefully they will be together for the rest of their lives but that doesn’t mean what they have is romantic. They are simply lifelong companions and that’s all.
