I've been in a pretty severe writer's block for a loooong time (obviously) and it's made writing requests basically impossible for me.

i was planning on redoing the blog, anyway, but i was gonna wait until i got caught up. i don't think that's going to happen tbh. so i think i might purge the request list, and set it up to where i open requests for a brief time, and only for characters i feel inspired for at that time. does that make sense?

so it could be like requests open until a certain day, then closed. or a select number of spots open. but still, only for certain characters. i feel like it might help.

anyway, what are your thoughts, readers?

Ancano feeling so disgusted with himself for being so attracted to someone from one of the "lesser" (read: High Elf and other Elven) races, only to rationalize it as them serving the best purpose possible. After all, they could never be as successful at anything that matters as an Altmer, so their highest possible purpose would be underneath him...literally.

He wants them and they have no reason or right to refuse him. He's an Altmer, a talented mage, and a member of the Thalmor for The Eight's sake! They should be honored he wants them like this. And if they refuse or try to worm their way out of accepting his advances, he'll remind them of that absolute undeniable fact.

I feel that. I've got a friend who's never seen it and even though I'm pretty sure she already knows what happens, I try not to spoil shit. She also hasn't seen Scream, so same there.

YES, agreed. I love the way everything looks. Just like oily, gross, mechanical. It's fantastic. The Tape Deck track from the first movie <3 My fave.

I have to not think about the traps and things too hard because some of them are straight up designed to fail. Like even though the look of the angel one was cool, there was absolutely no way to survive that. Mark in that trap was fantastic.

Gotcha. I'mma still watch them so I'm caught up but I'm not in a rush to see them. Once I spot them on a streaming service and I feel up to it, I'll do it.

Damn, really? I guess I shouldn't be surprised that a spinoff would happen. There's a billion Saw movies. It was bound to happen eventually. But I wish they would've at least kept the puppet. That's the most iconic piece of imagery in the whole franchise.

Your use of Pigsaw makes more sense, anyway. (I say this having not known a moment ago that a video game called Pigsaw existed.)

I got a notification from Tubi that The People Under the Stairs was leaving soon. So I finally watched it. Omg Roach. I love him.

TPUTS is an underrated gem. 

I wish Sean Whalen could live in my walls. Not for romantic reasons. Just to liven the place up a bit.  

Also, the first seven Saw films are on Pluto TV, so I watched ‘em and plan on watching Jigsaw and Spiral on DVD next week.

new year life update

as some people know, last year was a real struggle for me. i was homeless for a bit but was then lucky enough to find someone with infinite kindness that took me in. real life took up far too much time, no time or energy leftover for creativity, but i do miss the oc community.

it seems as though i’ll continue to be absent. i can no longer stay where i was, quite unexpectedly, so it’s back to just being me and my car. if anyone can send help and support, it would be greatly appreciated. if you can’t, prayers to the universe are sorely needed as well.
