Purely my prediction for season 5.

Mike and Eleven break up. 1+2. Mike begins to spend more time with Will, given the situation. The scene in the woods will clearly make Mike watch Will more and try to keep him safe. This will be a concrete point. 2+3. Because of this, Mike could get into danger. In the trailer, you could see Will yelling to run to him. This is clearly addressed to Mike and probably Joyce, because similar locations as in the footage of Joyce and Mike, which is protecting the kids. 3+4. And while in past seasons he tried to protect himself with things, this season, he's protecting them with his body, trying to keep the danger from attacking the kids as well as Joyce and Will.

Mike is going to be the heart. And will try to protect everyone, whoever he cares about and whoever he doesn't.
