Ok so I got bored and I've decided to read through Dragon Daughter again. I might be getting The Pirates Dragon for my birthday (just maybe. It's so niche you don't find it anywhere but Amazon)

And while I was at it, I decided to make references for the characters. Of course, I'm taking creative liberties because up to chapter 3 Milla is only described as having curly black hair....

So I decided to make the Sartolans generally POC, which would make Milla POC and Vigo (who if I remember correctly his mum is Sartolan) mixed race, while the Norlanders (nobles) are white.

To start us off with the unofficial (but feel free to use them if anyone here knows this fandom) references! Starting off with our main girl, Milla!

(Flanagan pronounces it Milla as in windmill-a? But I pronounce it me-la personally... I can't say mill-a sorry)

So as a general rule of thumb, Sartolan characters in my designs are POC, while Norlanders are white, Vigo who I'm 90% sure is mixed is going to be tan lol.
