Tommorow, about this time, I'll be sleeping on an airplane! tommorow is the first day of my mediterranean cruise! So no laptop or art tablet from me!

Important Update

hey y'all.. so life smacked me upside the head.

I've been busy with potential school stuff, health stuff, been diagnosed with a temporary health problem (fun) on top of all my other health problems, fighting bureaucracy, general fatigue, planning for cruise in 2 weeks, ect...

And almost every day the past two weeks, ive said ill write today. But i didnt. Chapter nineteen still did not have any words. So last night I forced myself to stay up as late as i needed to to finish the chapter. I was not allowed to sleep, not allowed to have anything open except the doc, the chapter notes and the music, not allowed to look at my phone, and I stayed up till 3. I did it.

I want to give you guys a chapter before I leave for europe, so it'll be up soon. And then I likely won't have access to Tumblr or writing for 2-3 weeks.

Chronic illness strikes as usual. Which I am used to by now, but I still hold this project dear and am still actively working on it. This project means so much to me.

Speckletail and Dappletail have been friends seen they were both young, although that was a long time ago. Speckletail was very brought to be able to train Redtail, a future deputy. She had Lionkit and Goldenkit, who she both saw great potential in. Speckletail is a protective and defensive cat, skilled in battle (especially when it comes to defending her family), though it could be argued her words are sharper. Late in her life she had another kit, although it was not advised at her age. Speckletail loved Snowkit more than anything, extremely defensive over her son, insisting in his ability to become a warrior. It unfortunately was not meant to be, as he was taken by a hawk. This was the last push towards Speckletail retiring, though it was mainly out of grief.

Mmmm idk..

One thing that bugs me is that after you become a warrior, there really is nothing to work towards, unless you want to be deputy. Which will be a little hard, as the leader has nine lives and you are much more likely to die before them, maybe even before you become deputy.

I like a lot of common concepts for this, where there is things such as 'head of hunting', 'head of battle training', yknow, something you might specialize in. I also like the idea of scouts (guys who explore and send messages) and guards (potentially a good job for disabled cats to have(?))

I'm also sad about the fact they got rid of tunnelers.. it would help clan diversity if each clan had clan specific roles.

(I'm not going to say much here, because in the future of AtD, you might just see new roles and clan structural change wink)

New groups would be cool as well, lots of possibilities, instead of just 'basic evil road group with one nig bad guy and cast of blank slates' we've seen one hundred times before...
