The next time you find a book trending on social media don’t rush to buy it immediately. Rather go through its reviews on different platforms first.
A trendy book might not necessarily be a classic. Some are the products of “the blockbuster syndrome” - marketing a book regardless of the low quality. It’s a psychological gimmick. Beware and invest your money, time, and energy in good books.
Books are meant to be the ocean of knowledge. Make sure what you read is nurturing your mind and soul.

An analysis of yet another masterpiece The Lonely Londoners by Sam Selvon:
The novel strengthened my belief that the use of fancy words and high vocabulary is not necessary. The story didn’t follow the regular grammatical format as the narration was based on the Caribbean dialect.
Yet it was so convincing and became the bestseller of that time.
The novel covers themes of deception and illusion. It imparts the philosophical knowledge that what we hear is not always true.

5. Do you need to write every day?
The answer is no.
Discipline kills creativity. Writers are not always in the best mental, physical, or emotional space to write. Some people can create ideas under pressure while some cannot.
Your brain will come up with unique ideas if it’s set free. Creativity is not a product. It’s a flowing river. Allow it to flow however it wants to.

Virginia Woolf is an author who tore my mind and soul apart with her rare intellect and craftsmanship.
What makes her distinct from other literary geniuses?
How simply could she define ‘nothing’ literally.
Dreamy notions of time and memory.
Expert in utilizing the Stream of Consciousness technique to unveil character traits.
A tip from the Virginia Woolf course: don’t read her books as stories because you won’t find one.
It took me some time to digest her notions, but surprisingly, somewhere deep, they felt real and already existing.

The early people probably struggled to fathom the routine dialect, prompting writers of that era to employ metaphors, symbolism, and imagery to convey their messages.

4. I don’t get ideas to write. What should I do?
Practice awareness.
Start journaling.
Walk alone.
Write anything randomly without thinking. I call it rubbish writing. But sometimes it can produce some of the best stories.
Instance - Many people came and went. Consoled him, kicked him, begged him to return home. To be normal like before. The red lady was just his imagination they said. But he waited and waited. He didn’t rush. He didn’t want to either. He just longed for the red lady. And worked accordingly. To attain her. Because it was she who mattered the most.

Romantic stories are only in books, right? Well, my friends, writers often put their own experiences into their stories. So, those dreamy love stories we read? They might be the author's own special moments!

3. How can one craft a novel that distinguishes itself within the competitive literary market?
Write a predictable story, but use creative language and different writing styles to make it interesting.
OR
Keep the language simple, but make sure the story has unexpected twists.
AND
Instead of using common methods to promote your book, come up with unique and imaginative ways to get people interested.
To sum up, blurt out creativity in every direction. Creativity sells.
