taken literally this can be taken as foxes being melon dogs

though i'm capable of explaining further in order to indicate that this is not the case and that chinese people did not in fact see foxes as melon dogs

in that same session we went into some cult's dungeon and i disguised myself as one of the cultists

because our party is full of impulsive people we did split up beforehand so two of my party members including sol here didn't see me put on the disguise and hit me by accident when combat happened between us and the rest of the cultists (i was on 9HP by the end of it)

(if anyone is curious, sol's PC is a (homebrew) monkey monk while mine is a mark of shadow elf cleric (trickery domain) and we all are level 4)

So i got 1 tapped by an ape in dnd

so im playing dnd, we're in combat, and the enemy which is just a massive gorilla walks upto me, and rolls two back to back d20s, npc in our party uses silvery barbs, now its two attacks, 20, 16, i die immediately, dm puts me on unstable instead, and i roll for death save early getting a 9, but then i wasnt supposed to roll it then and our npc rolls healing word and im like unkilled, but holy hell that gorilla should NOT have rolled that high

I was playing tetris just now and was like in the zone and then I thought of my tetris addiction in freshmen year and how I told my drumline friend about it and then I starting thinking about how I’m happy for him and then I was thinking about his girlfriend and was like reflecting on the state of relationships generally and then I was thinking about like my friends relationship and then me and my friends relationship and how we were drifting apart last year but now we are the “definition of best friends” again according to this one freshmen and then I remembered playing tetris with the same friend on their shitty nes knockoff and then I remembered introducing my sister to tetris on the same website I was using and how we were in the car with my grandma discussing it one time and then I remembered all the regret I have with my grandma and that was one of the last times I spend time with her and started crying only a little bit and then I lost the game

Project Babel

So, Project Babel. A game I'm working on because I have either too much or too little time on my hands. Doing it in RPG Maker MZ because I gave up on Persona Maé (find that on my main blog). The name "Project Babel" is temporary until I think of something better.

The premise: A kitsune who's also an ultra-powerful time goddess has trapped 22 people in some form of the Library of Babel. Each person, or wanderer as she calls them, has been given a Mark (a codeword of sorts), a weapon, and a Condition that they must meet before she allows them to leave. In particular, the player character's Condition basically entails helping the other wanderers meet theirs.

I'll post a list of the wanderers' names and their Marks, and I'll make posts for the characters themselves whenever.
