slept so long
- vampire suguru geto x satoru gojo, victorian era
Summary: Suguru Geto is a vampire who willingly embraced immortality to escape his painful past. Satoru Gojo is the one person who knew him before his transformation.
WARNING: Horror & some gore
The pale man’s icy eyes pierce through the ghoul. “My six eyes tell me you’re Suguru Geto. But my heart and my soul knows otherwise.”
Crimson eyes stare back into Satoru’s, long purposeful strides closing in on the man.
It’s a memory that the vampire finds himself being haunted by quite often.
Guided by the dull flicker of candlelight, the lifeless Suguru Geto roamed the endless maze known as the corridors of his castle. His crimson eyes filled with a gleeful glint of chaos.
“It is impossible to say how the idea first entered my mind. Perhaps, I just needed the pleasures of immortality. Chasing a life of sin and giving into every single vice.”
Suguru’s chest rises and falls rapidly, his pattern of speech becoming disoriented. His slender fingers intertwined in a trophy head’s tresses, he slowly lifts it to his chin. His teeth sink into the flesh, ripping it apart and causing blood to spray all over an elegant portrait painting depicting himself with a blank expression. With one swift movement, he chucked the head towards the farther end of the hall, consequently causing it to roll, leaving behind trails of blood. A loud rumbling in the skies permeated the empty, dark, and colossal castle.
On the other side of the window, a jagged bright light crashes down onto the earth’s soil. It illuminates the vampire and the head’s silhouette on the marble floor.
-
Sparkling chandeliers cascade from the ceiling like crystal raindrops.
The soft glow of candlelight casts a warm and romantic ambiance. In the center of the room, a glistening parquet dance floor is polished to perfection.
Suguru’s eyes narrow as he scans the extravagant ballroom, searching for something that piques his interest. A ethereal young man with strikingly white hair is seated behind a grand piano and the moment his pale fingers touch the keys it makes Suguru’s world shatter. It transports him back to a time of elegance and grandeur, his eyes are locked shut but he peaks to see the boy behind the music once more. Time freezes for him as his feet stay in place becoming one with the floor. Eyes full of curiosity, he longingly stares at the musician. He is completely starstruck and unaware of the lively atmosphere and the couples twirling around him.
How long has it been? How long has it been since Suguru Geto felt this way?
A noise has never moved him in such a way nor has it made his lifeless body resurrect with an actual beating pulse. The tips of his clawed fingers tingled like never before, a fire ignited so deep in his soul that he has no choice but to approach the musician behind the noise stirring him so intensely.
“Suguru Geto.” The man’s voice is soft, but stern.
Suguru isn’t quite sure if the younger man intended it to be a question or a statement, but his ears cannot forget the sound. The pianist’s fingers glide across each key, gradually slowing down and to Suguru’s disappointment it all comes to an end. “Satoru Gojo.” Suguru muses, kneeling down so he is eye level with the man. The white haired man intensely meets his gaze.
“I came here to reminisce I suppose. To what once was, to what you once.. were.”
All it took was hearing Lord Suguru Geto’s voice, his footsteps, and sensing his divine presence to truly transport Satoru to the past. Satoru needed to be honest with him and he didn’t care if that led to unwanted thoughts or conversations. Whenever Suguru’s eyes met Satoru’s he could only see the bright reflection of a one sided mirror. Satoru couldn’t see the ugliness, which was why he still yearned so deeply for the other man.
-
Thanks for reading. This was just a short story that i wrote on a whim because I just love geto and gojo’s chemistry.

Pairings: Jungkook x FemReader (1980’s au)
Summary: It’s March 24, 1984 and after skipping class to shop with some friends, you find yourself at a Saturday detention. Jeon Jungkook is known for being an asshole and starting fights with other students just for the thrill of it and you can’t believe you have to spend the day with him. You soon realize that maybe the disparate group of teenagers you are spending detention with aren’t as different from you as you thought. (This is based off of the movie The Breakfast Club, if you haven’t watched it you should !!)
Word count:
"I can't believe you can't get me out of this. It's so absurd that I have to be here on a Saturday." You groaned, glancing outside the passenger window. In the distance you could see students also reluctantly getting out of their parents cars and entering the school building. Much to your annoyance, your dad let out a hearty laugh at your words.
You followed the small group of teenagers into the library and you sighed loudly as you took your seat. Before you could properly take in your surroundings, Mr. Kim, your principal, entered the room. "It is now 7:06. You have exactly seven hours and fifty four minutes to think about why you're here. Ponder the error of your ways." A brown haired boy with thickly framed glasses raised his hand in attempt to protest but Mr.Kim didn't give him a chance to finish. "You may not talk. Do not move out of these seats." A loud smacking sound hit a desk and everyone slowly turned in their seats to the direction of the culprit. A guy's face had hit the desk as he pretended to snore obnoxiously. You rolled your eyes at his actions and turned back around, your gaze fixated on Mr.Kim. Then it hit you. Why was that guy so familiar? Sure, you were popular but were you that stuck up that you didn't even recognize your own classmates? Jeon Jungkook.. was here? How had you not noticed him before? A devilish grin graced Mr.Kim's face as he continued, "You are all going to write me a one thousand word essay, telling me who you think you are." Jungkook carelessly kicked his feet up onto the desk. His lips were slightly parted as if he was going to say something witty or clever. You tried your best to ignore the delinquent but it was getting harder every second."My office is right across that hall. Any monkey business will not be tolerated." Mr.Kim emphasized his words as he stormed out of the library and right into his office.
The dark haired boy crumbled up a piece of paper and threw it over your head and into the trash can. He stridently began humming a tune to himself .
"Oh shit! What are we supposed to do when we have to take a piss? Well I mean if you gotta go.. you gotta go, right?" Before anyone could respond to his comments, everyone in the room could hear the sound of jeans being unzipped. "Oh my god." You muttered to yourself, tightly closing your eyes. "Hey! You're not pissing in here man." Taehyung's voice was barely above a growl as he adjusted his letterman's jacket. "Don't talk, it makes it crawl back up!" Jungkook hollered as he abruptly pushed his seat back so he wasn't so close to the desk anymore.
"You're dead when the first drop hits the floor." Taehyung warned, snapping his head in the delinquents direction.
"You're so sexy when you're angry."
Taehyung slammed his fist on the desk in annoyance. You covered your mouth with your hand trying your hardest to stifle the laughs escaping you. Jungkook snapped his head in Jimin's direction. "Hey, you over there. Why don't you close that door and we can get the prom queen impregnated." Jungkook smirked, the smug expression never leaving his face. Your face grew hot and with furrowed brows, you glared at the teenager. "In your dreams asshole. Who do you think you are anyway?" He winced at your words, pretending to be offended. "I'll beat your ass right now, don't talk to her like that." The jock ran a hand through his hair, his voice getting louder by the minute. Jimin, the smaller framed boy in glasses who hadn't spoken the entire time intervened, "Come on guys let's just finish our papers." A girl dressed in all black quietly bit her nails observing and watching intently. It was seven in the morning and here you were dealing with the guy with the worst reputation at school. "Just ignore him! He's trying to get a rise out of you, Taehyung." You finally mustered up the courage to speak but you could feel your voice betraying you. Jungkook shifted his attention towards you. His chin rested against his palm, his chocolate doe eyes boring into yours. You felt a huge wave of shyness crash over you realizing he was giving you his full undivided attention. You locked eyes with him and it felt like an eternity. He refused to break eye contact as he leaned in closer to your direction. "Sweets, you couldn't ignore me if you tried." Jungkook jumped out of his seat and hopped onto one of the railings in the library. Mr.Kim left his office, leaving the door wide open. Jungkook peered his head around the corner and jumped off the railing. He sprinted towards the office. "Where are you going," Jimin questioned. Jungkook deepened his voice, pointing a finger at Taehyung before running off. "Young man, have you finished your paper?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
With calloused hands, Jungkook lit his cigarette, taking a long drag. He opened the door, exiting the library as the group of teenagers followed close behind him."What's the point of going to Jeon's locker, anyway?" Lisa mumbled mostly to herself. They were most likely going to get caught if they weren't careful. Taehyung sighed exasperatedly. He had a track meet next week, did he really need to risk that? Suddenly their thoughts were interrupted. The sound of dress-shoes hitting the marble floor suffused the empty hallways. It was a pretty hot day considering that spring was budding and the stuffy feeling of summer creeping it's way closer filled the atmosphere. That feeling made you further resent being here.. trapped in this building.
"Shit, he's gonna find us." Jimin whisper yelled. He was putting way too much trust in the boy clad in denim. The thought itself made the boy grimace. Jungkook strolled cockily down the halls, taking a few turns in the opposite direction of the deafening footsteps. "You're going the wrong way. You seriously want me to miss my meet that bad?" Taehyung's eyes narrowed at the taller boy, pointing in the opposite direction. "I'm going that way."
"Whatever jockstrap." Jungkook grumbled as he saw you, Lisa and Jimin follow the athlete. You slowly  trudged, glancing back at him with a small hint of concern displayed on your face. The look you threw his way had tugged at his heartstrings. It made something inside him grow tender. No one looked at him like that before. He stumbled towards you a bit as if you were beckoning him into your arms. You hastily clutched his hand in yours, tugging him a bit in your direction. Everyone suddenly came to a halt as they saw there was a gate blocking off the other half of the school. "That's what we get for listening to Jockstrap." Lisa mused, brushing her bangs out of her face. "Now we're all dead.." Jimin sighed, awkwardly stared down at the floor tiles as if they were the most interesting thing in the world.
"No. Just me." Jungkook gave his signature mischievous grin, before turning on his heel and dashing away like there was no time to spare. Jungkook took a deep breath and started singing loudly and out of tune. "I wanna be an airborne ranger!" He was practically screaming at the top of his lungs at this point. You and Lisa looked at each other, shaking your heads in unison. After you made it back to the library, you couldn't help but want to know more about everyone here.
The only person you really knew before today was Taehyung. You both hung out with the popular and well-liked crowd. In all honestly, the more you thought about it the more you began to dislike your friends at school. Everyone here in detention today was from a different group and you all had managed to get along and banter for the most part. On Monday, you hoped that your 'friends' wouldn't say anything to you for hanging out with Lisa or maybe even Jungkook. It just seemed like a different world to them.. a world you wished to be apart of. Your rumination was quickly interrupted as an intense collision filled the media center.
Crushed ceiling tiles fell down and Jungkook coughed and wheezed as he wobbly stood up from the carpeted flooring. Dust particles of debris fluttered in his dark, unruly hair and he desperately tried to clean himself off. "What? I forgot my pencil." He stated, seeming pretty dumbfounded by everyone's confused expressions. Lisa's eyes were blown wide and she stared at the debris still falling from the ceiling. "What was that noise?" Mr.Kim shrieked, falling out of his swivel chair at his desk in surprise. Jungkook felt himself panic as he ran to your desk and crawled under it, his breath hitting your legs. The desks were only open so that students could push their desks in, so it would be very hard for Mr.Kim to know where he was. He wasn't supposed to even be in here right now and he figured this was the best hiding spot he was gonna get. Your eyes widened as you looked down at him, squeezing your thighs together in embarrassment. Why did you decide to wear a skirt this morning? You opened your mouth, ready to insult him and tell him to go hide somewhere else. However, Mr.Kim charged into the room, with a gaze that could kill. "I just heard a ruckus in here. What the hell was that noise? Anyone care to confess?"
"What noise?" Taehyung responded smoothly. "Could you describe the ruckus, Sir?" Jimin chimed in. "Watch your mouth, young man. I know something just happened." Jungkook moved his head slightly and hit it against the top of the desk. Lisa coughed into her hand after kicking the leg of the desk. You joined in and before you knew it all five of you were coughing and hitting the desks. "Was that the ruckus?" Lisa spoke softly, her voice barely above a whisper as everyone began to quiet down.
Jungkook moved around trying to find a comfortable position while also attempting to remain quiet so he wouldn't get ratted out. Your legs were parted now and since you were wearing a skirt, your panties were on full display for him to see. His doe eyes widened and he slowly moved his head closer in between your legs, taking in your sweet intoxicating scent. You blushed profusely, your face was as red as Taehyung's letterman jacket. Your body temperature rose and you resisted the urge to acknowledge how intimate the position you and Jungkook were in really was. The dark haired boy could feel the drool ready to escape his mouth but his moment was cut short when you squeezed your legs together, causing his head to be squished between your thighs. He let out a low, barely audible grunt and you tried with every fiber in your body to stay calm and keep your composure. "I may not have caught you this time. But you can bet I will." The principal crossed his arms and spoke with authority so the students knew he meant business. You weren't even apprehensive about getting in trouble. Everything the teacher said, went in one ear and out the other. You were too focused on Jeon Jungkook to give a shit about anything else. Mr.Kim approached his office once more and closed the door.
Jungkook crawled out from under your desk and you glared at him and spun around in the opposite direction. "It was an accident."
"Shut up, Jeon."
"Sue me."
~~~~
"I was just wondering.. what's gonna happen to us on Monday? I mean I consider you guys my friends. So on Monday.. what happens?" Jimin shyly rubbed the back of his neck, avoiding eye contact with everyone. "Do you want the truth?" You anxiously played with the jewelry adorning your neck as you bit your chapped lips. Jimin nodded, not knowing what to say next. "I don't think so." You muttered, looking away from the group. You felt guilt claw it's way into your subconscious and you desperately wanted the lump in your throat to just disappear already. "That's a real nice attitude, Y/N." Taehyung's words were laced with venom and you despised the way they stuck to you like an adhesive. "I know you'd do the same to Jimin! Don't even lie." You stared intensely at your shoes and swallowed down the urge to sob. "You are a bitch!" Jungkook hollered, his eyes hooded with rage. "Do you know how shitty that is to do to someone? You don't have the guts to stand up to your friends and tell them that you're gonna like who you wanna like."
"Are you serious, Jeon? Don't act like you're any different. What would happen if you went out to the parking lot to smoke with Jimin? What would your friends say if they saw us walking down the hall together? They'd laugh their asses off and you'd tell them that you were sleeping with me so they'd forgive you for ever being seen with me!" Your eyes were full of unshed tears. He quickly grew quiet and you could tell that his head was whirring with thoughts. He ran a frustrated hand through his messy black hair and sighed. Lisa awkwardly took sips from her half empty juice box, glancing at Taehyung who shared the same look.
Jimin sniffled and regained his composure as he took a deep breath. "I'd never do that to you guys. Because I think that's messed up. It seems like Lisa and I are the only good people here."
After a long moment of silence, Taehyung spoke up. "I don't think you guys realize the kind of pressure our friends put on us. It's hard having to go along with what they say.." The track star weakly tried to defend himself. He knew this type of behavior was shitty. Taehyung's dad put so much pressure on him to be the best athlete he could be that he started to forget what his own dream was. Taehyung's dad encouraged him to be a bully at school and that was partially the reason the senior was in detention on a Saturday.
Jungkook swiftly slid his jean jacket back on, anxiously glancing at the clock on the wall. Your eyes locked again, this time though it was completely unintentional. Detention was almost over and you felt your attitude about this entire day do a whole 180. You were yearning to know more about Jungkook even it seemed like he wouldn’t let you in. Without warning, he scooted his desk closer to you and you felt a small subtle smile tug at the corners of your mouth. “So about what I said earlier..” He trailed off, not knowing where he was going with this thought. He never really was good with words. Well with the words everyone wanted to hear out of him anyways. You gently wrapped your hands around his shirt collar, pulling him in closer. Jungkook could feel himself lean in closer, the twinging feeling of lust swallowing him whole. The tantalizing feeling made Jungkook’s vision blur. Such a strong reaction to your simple gestures. The muscular boy looked at you through hooded eyes and soon your lips were connected in a deep kiss. His big hands found your waist and you relished the way his touch felt. Jungkook was such a good kisser it was almost too good to be true. His current surroundings slipped his mind as he tenderly deepened the kiss, desiring too much more from you. The moment seemed to last forever until you both tentatively pulled away from each other.The boy seemed stunned, clearly at a loss of words. You gave him a sly wink and after a brief moment of silence, he finally said something. “What was that for?” He questioned, raising a brow. “I knew you wouldn’t be the one to do it first.” You spoke with confidence and you wondered where it even came from if you were being honest. Something magnetic was pulling you towards this boy and you couldn’t fight those needs any longer. Jimin carefully set a lined piece of notebook paper on the desk and glanced at everyone. “It’s finished?” Lisa gawked. She didn’t expect him to write it for them all in such a short amount of time. The boy only nodded in response. Taehyung slung his bag over his shoulder, taking long purposeful strides as he walked outside.Lisa followed slowly behind him, awkwardly waving goodbye to everyone. “See you on Monday, Lisa.” Taehyung nodded his head in her direction, before hopping into the passenger seat of his dad’s truck. You stood beside your dad’s vehicle expectantly. Jungkook gently pressing you against the door as his determined gaze met yours. Taking your diamond studded earring out of your ear, you took his much larger hand in yours and placed it in his. Jungkook put the earring in his pierced ears, watching the car turn into a small dot before disappearing. The pure euphoria that he felt was indescribable. His heart was fluttering and his cheeks were a soft pink as his mind replayed what had just happened. He let his legs take him wherever they wanted to go, his body moving on his own accord. The sun was setting and the humongous football field was completely empty. Jungkook broke out into a full on sprint and punched his gloved fist into the air. Monday was going to be interesting.
Mr.Kim squinted and his tightly gripped hand clutched onto the piece of notebook paper.
“Dear Mr.Kim, we accept the fact we had to sacrifice a whole Saturday in detention for whatever it was we did wrong. What we did was wrong, but we think you’re crazy to make us write an essay telling you who we think we are. You see us as you want to see us. In the simplest terms. The most convenient definitions. But what we found out is that each one of us is a brain, an athlete, a basket case, a princess and a criminal. Does that answer your question? Sincerely yours, The Breakfast Club.”

All I Ask Of You
Tumblr media
All I Ask Of You [Knight!Jungkook x Prince!Taehyung]
Credit: @mintyminn
Genre: Fluff/Romance | Medieval!Au | (age-swap)
Warnings: None
Word Count: 1.2k
Summary: Jungkook is sent off into battle to protect the kingdom and Prince Taehyung isn’t ready to let him go.
-
Taehyung’s slender fingers wrapped around the silk curtains, carefully drawing them open. The haste transition from the darkness of the rapid snowfall made him grimace, shutting them just as fast as he drew them open.
He gave a longing glance beyond the kingdom that stretched outside his bedroom window. Today could be the last day he sees his royal Knight, Jungkook, alive. Tears threatened to spill at the corner of the prince’s eyes. He couldn’t bare to look outside any longer. With a pivot of his heel, he turned abruptly and rushed through his extravagant bedroom doors to the long and intricately detailed wooden banister. “My Lord. Where are you going?” An elderly servant spared him a glance, halting her cleaning duties.
She was clad in a long white gown with a tattered apron tied around her waist, looking rather beggarly compared to the royal boy standing in front of her. The gold adorning his wrists glistened with every slight movement, the crimson silk embellished cloak flowing behind him as he showed zero signs of slowing down his pace. “I must say farewell to Jungkook. He’s going off to war, isn’t he?” With a dismissive wave of his hand, he descended the steps, a streak of red cloth following his path. With how nonchalant he said those wretched words, anyone would think it didn’t affect him greatly. If only they knew.
The strong gust of wind whirled Jungkook’s long dark locks back, his hold on his horse not loosening one bit. Snowflakes sprinkled from the sky, making the kingdom look remarkable. His eyes crinkled like crescent moons and his pearly whites were on full display as the horse rode him closer to the lavish castle. Snowflakes landed in his lashes, forcing him to flutter them open to see the path ahead of him. His armor clanked with how brisk the ride was and he felt his chest tighten once he got a glance of his forbidden lover from afar. The prince held a single rose in his hand, eyes full of curiosity. Jungkook’s chest swelled with affection and he didn’t even realize the ride was over until his horse neighed a bit too loudly.
Taehyung’s chest rose and fell with a long sigh. He really didn’t want to send off Jungkook. Not like this. Not when his fragile heart was screaming to make him stay. He can vividly recall the nights he was held so tenderly in the warriors arms. Every passionate kiss they shared haunted the royals mind like a mantra. The stolen glances at the dinner table with Taehyung’s father and the servants completely unaware. Completely unaware of the dangerous love blossoming in plain sight. It was hard to not notice with the way Jungkook looked at him. Were hushed whispers, secret hand written love letters and tender lovemaking all they were meant to be?
Jungkook slid off of the horses back, a clunk hitting the ground because of his heavy boots. Each step he took was strident and full of purpose. Taehyung slowly turned his head to the direction of the noise. Their eyes locked. “I had to see you one last time, Your Highness.” The knight squared his shoulders and bowed his head, sweaty bangs falling over his hooded eyes. Taehyung’s breath hitched and he pushed himself off the ground and onto his feet. His delicate hands gently cupped the rugged mans face, closing the space between them. “What am I going to do without you? Must you truly leave me?” Taehyung’s voice betrayed him, resulting in the prince pressing his tongue to the roof of his mouth to dissipate the urge to cry.
Those bewitching doe eyes met his and Taehyung could feel his weight shift to his back heel, suddenly losing his balance. Without a second thought, Jungkook outstretched his arm, swiftly snaking it around the smaller boys waist to pull him in. Taehyung timidly set his hand on his firm chest, a wave of embarrassment surging through his body. The knights eyes sparkled with amusement, a soft chuckle vibrating his chest. “It’s my duty. I do not intend to break my promise, Your Highness.” The prince can’t help but think Jungkook looks rather dashing with the snowflakes falling into the soft strands of his hair and the way he’s looking down at him as if he’s the most important thing in the universe. The knight’s expression remains painfully serene, slightly irking Taehyung. Jungkook quirks an eyebrow, gently cupping the younger boys face with one hand. Taehyung can’t help but admire how well he can handle things. He also takes note of how rough and calloused his lovers skin is due to the extensive years of harsh training and fighting.
“My father has arranged my marriage sooner than expected. I will wait for your return. I will not marry, unless it is you.” Taehyung confessed bravely, his face inching closer to Jungkook’s by the second. Jungkook’s eyes widened, his grip on Taehyung’s hips tightening. His deep voice sent a spur of desire to ignite through Taehyung. “I have already courted you. I defy the stars for not allowing us to be together.” Taehyung could feel his face grow hot even though there was nothing but lofts of snow surrounding them.
“Don’t defy the stars. For the stars aligned the moment I met you..” Taehyung smiled softly, a sense of melancholy creeping it’s way into his mind. Jungkook confidently countered back, “I shall defy your father then.” Taehyung giggled quietly, trying to stifle his laughter by biting his bottom lip. “I wonder what he would do if he saw us share a kiss right in front of the castle?” Taehyung parted his lips, as if to speak or argue with the mans impulsive request. What if the maids saw them? What if-
A pair of strong hands pushed him against the wall and soft wet lips met his. Taehyung furrowed his brows in confusion for a moment before relaxing into the kiss. Jungkook hovered over him, encaging him so he couldn’t escape. His lips trailed down to the boys jawline, leaving tender kisses here and there. Taehyung clutched onto him, desperately wanting to close the space between them. “Not here.” Taehyung breathed out shyly, burrowing his face in his lovers chest.
Jungkook smiled mischievously, picking up the prince with one prompt motion. Taehyung gasped in surprise, holding onto him for dear life. Jungkook held him bridal style, practically sprinting into the castle and upstairs to the second floor where Taehyung’s room resided. Several servants looked at each other with a bewildered expression, mouths agape. “Your Highness! You have to practice for your coronation ceremony today!” The master of the wardrobe called out to him but it was too late. The two were stowed away in their own little world.
Jungkook gently laid Taehyung down onto his bed , carefully peeling off his armor. Taehyung looked up at him through his long lashes, sitting peacefully on the edge of his bed. “Cute.” Jungkook looked down at him, showing off Taehyung’s favorite smile. Jungkook had bandages wrapped around his lower abdomen, crimson blood stains gradually seeping through. Taehyung let out a gasp. “What happened? How could you not have said anything?” Taehyung rushed to his aid, vision blurred with tears and distress. “I’ll tell them you’re injured and you cannot go! They won’t make you go if they find out you’re-”
“It’s not that simple! This will heal in time for battle. I live to serve you.” His hand balled into a fist at his side and he let out a disgruntled noise. Taehyung was startled and winced at his words. “I can’t let you go. Not when you’re injured.” He responded meekly, looking down at his own two feet.
“I must leave at dawn.”
-thank you for reading- I might write a second part idk honestly

Secret Separation
Pairing: Hoseok x Yoongi
Warnings: Very depressing, slight mentions anxiety, death
Word count: 580
It bothered Hoseok every time he looked at him. Maybe it was the unpredictable atmosphere that Yoongi provided. The vacant expression adorning the elders face right now was wretched.
Hoseok’s self resentment bubbled it’s way up into his chest and he tried to fight the urge to run away. Yoongi was the result of his own destined ill fate. The product of his environment.
It was a disturbing but undeniable truth.
Hoseok didn’t even care to acknowledge the familiar faces that entered the showing room, until he felt Namjoons strong hand firmly grip onto his left shoulder.
There was an overwhelming feeling of pure reality tightly grabbing ahold of Hoseok’s being. An empty feeling emerged into something far more sinister than his weak heart could possibly handle. His whole being screamed at the fact that he was living in a cruel world where Yoongi didn’t exist anymore. He could only stand frozen in place, mirroring his lovers lifeless image. He grimly started to think maybe he should’ve been lying in the marble casket instead of Yoongi. He staggered to the casket through blurred vision and uneven footsteps. His damp hands shook furiously even after he attempted to wipe the sweat off on his black dress pants.
Most of the guests reminisced about his lover as if they knew him well. The only thing on Hoseok’s mind was how calm these people reacted and treated Yoongi’s death. They don’t know how Hoseok decided to keep Yoongi at an arms length away from him in the beginning to prevent himself from harboring intense feelings for the other. He wanted to protect himself from the disaster known as Min Yoongi. He didn’t mind the pain, really. He knew if he could do it all again, he would go back and repeat everything in a heartbeat. Taehyung’s glossy eyes followed Hoseok’s frail moving figure and he would quickly snap his head in the opposite direction to avoid eye contact with him. Hoseok reached for Yoongi’s hand and interlocked it with his.
It’s cold.
It’s cold..
Hoseok repeated the words out loud and he couldn’t make himself stop. Even when Taehyung lurched toward to stop him from collapsing, he was still zoned out in his own world. “Taehyung! It’s cold.” He breathed the words out like he couldn’t believe his eyes. When was Yoongi ever this cold? Maybe if he was in his arms again he could- “Hoseok please.” His soft pleas went unheard. Seeing Hoseok such a wreck and so unlike himself was the hardest thing Taehyung thinks he’s ever endured. “Please Hoseok. Come back to me.” Taehyung’s voice was so soft spoken it was barely above a whisper. Hoseok took Yoongi’s limp hand to his own chest and embraced it tightly. Taehyung’s hand quickly neglected Hoseok’s sleeve, and all he could do was be an onlooker to the tragic scene displayed before him. “We are only passengers in time. We will meet with other names.” Hoseok murmured feebly. They must take another journey. Maybe in another life, Hoseok wouldn’t have to suffer so much.
‘I’ll take away the strongest feelings you will ever know. There will be no more isolation in our secret separation. You touched my heart so deeply, you rescued me. Now free me.’

I hope you enjoyed thank you so much for reading. Please leave feedback to help me be motivated and do better, thank you.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑶𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑾𝒂𝒔
Pairings: Taehyung x Jimin, Jungkook x Jimin
Warnings: Drinking/ Swearing (Taehyung is an asshole)
Summary: Jimin’s staring at the red solo cup, long and hard. He’s not even sure why he’s at this rowdy college party anyways. These kinds of things aren’t his scene. A certain blue haired man is looking his way but the lighting isn’t helping and Jimin is wondering if he’s imagining things. Jimin decides he really is imagining things because there’s no way in hell that’s Kim Taehyung.
Word count:
~~~
Some things were better left unsaid.
That's what Park Jimin tells himself as he leans against the wall with a glass half empty at one of the biggest parties he thinks his best friend Hoseok has ever hosted. Some things are better left unsaid. That's what Park Jimin tells himself when he sees a azure haired boy with a haughty attitude, who just so happens to be the man who broke his heart two years ago. Jimin can't help but stare at his exes slender hands grabbing for a unknown girl's waist as they danced to the loud blaring music. Jimin's sharp eyes dance around the blue haired man's features.
His gaze bitterly landed on a expensive watch adorned on his oblivious ex boyfriends wrist. That was the watch Jimin had bought him as a birthday present. His eyes narrowed as he took a small sip of the strong intoxicating drink.
"I haven't seen you all night! You can't just stand here like this. Jimin, go out there and dance!" Hoseok is clearly hammered by the way his words are slurring together and his cheeks are tinted a deep pink. Before the younger man could refuse his offer, he was yanked onto the dance floor.
He felt his face hit the back of a much taller man and it felt strangely familiar. As the man turned around, Jimin's eyes widened in horror. The man he clumsily bumped into was none other than Kim Taehyung. Hoseok's drunk ass was going to pay for this later. Taehyung's face contorted into a expression of shock and his eyes had a glint of slyness. Some things just never change. "I never expected to see you here." Taehyung's voice was just as deep as Jimin remembered, although it felt like he was hollering at him due to the loud music and the party being in full swing. Taehyung smiles sweetly but there’s something feign in his actions. It makes Jimin feel icky, like he needs to end the conversation right then and there and pour himself another glass.
“I’ve thought about you from time to time. Thought of how I could’ve been better.” Taehyung’s eyes darken and his thick brows furrow as if he didn’t even know where he was going with this statement. Jimin hates that about Taehyung. He says things with disregard of consequences, leaving people with fake realities. He makes them think they have a chance. “I don’t have any regrets. I just hope you move on like I did. You clearly didn’t.” Jimin’s voice is compelling enough to make Taehyung step backwards in utter astonishment. It’s enough to make Taehyung pause for a moment, contemplating on what to say next.
Jimin is prideful that he received that reaction because he knows how impulsive Taehyung is. He always does things without even thinking. Taehyung’s facial expression screams fascination and amusement. Jimin’s eyes crinkle in confusion, brows stitched together. Had he been reading his body language all wrong? Was he played for a fool? “You seriously thought I wasn’t over you?” Taehyung’s tone is spiteful and his vitriolic laugh has the other feeling like his world is shrinking. “I was with you out of pity. You were overly clingy, Jimin. You’re a stray.” Jimin feels like he’s a gladiator in an ancient arena with royals laughing at his every move. Like he was born to be humiliated his entire life. The height difference doesn’t aid his negative thoughts either, making him feel smaller than he already felt.
“Fuck you! I told you all my personal problems and now you’re using it against me. I’d rather be clingy than a cheater.” His voice is shaky and hot tears are streaming down his cheeks. He doesn’t know whether he’s crying out of frustration or humiliation at this point. He tightly closed his eyes not wanting to even look at Taehyung. With one swift motion and fiery anger being the main force behind it, Jimin splashed his alcohol all over the front of Taehyung’s shirt. “What the fuck?!” Taehyung’s yelling loudly but his voice is drowned out by the music. Jimin pivots on his heel, speed walking away and he has to navigate his way through all the dancing bodies and drunken students.
“I wonder where Jimin went. Didn’t he say he was coming?” Namjoon curiously looked around before talking another shot of soju. The atmosphere in the kitchen was a lot more serene than the other rooms of the house. Everyone was just talking amongst themselves and enjoying a couple drinks. “I saw Jimin with Taehyung but I didn’t want to interrupt. I have a bad feeling about this.” Seokjin sighed with a deep frown. “What? He was with Taehyung?” Jungkook pushed himself off the counter, his doe eyes blown wide. Jimin stumbled into the kitchen, teary eyed. Jungkook took careful long strides in the smaller boys direction. His intentions were pure and the pitiful and troubled glint in his eyes had Jimin sobbing even harder. “Everything’s going to be okay. Let’s get you out of here, Chim.” The brunette tenderly took Jimin’s hand in his. Jimin nodded compliantly as his friend led the way. Jungkook’s broad shoulders blocked his view and for the first time in a long time Jimin didn’t feel inferior about feeling small.
He desperately clutched onto Jungkook’s inked hand for comfort and trailed close behind him. Jimin tried his best to ignore all the couples making out and drunk students stumbling around and singing along to lyrics with slurred words. Jungkook pushed through the crowd, making sure Jimin was okay here and there with a few thoughtful backward glances. “What did he say to you?” His voice daunting.
“How did you..” Jimin’s response trails off into silence as he climbs into the passenger seat of Jungkooks car. “I heard that Taehyung was with you.” Jungkook sighs, disliking the way his name feels like bile on his tongue. Jimin hesitantly stared at Jungkooks calloused hands on the wheel and nervously shifted his attention to the single star in the night sky outside the window. He wonders if he’s similar to that small dot in the sky. Something destined to be lonely. Something destined to be so small and weak.
“Jimin. What did he say?” Jungkook pressed, inked knuckled turning white as he gripped onto the steering wheel. Jimin felt pressured, maybe even a little anxious. He didn’t exactly want Jungkook knowing about his deepest insecurities. “I can’t tell you.” Jimin’s breathing was labored and his shoulders visibly tensed. Jungkook’s features softened, but he didn’t verbally respond. The silence was enough of an answer. Jungkook’s stubbornness finally subsided for a moment.
Jimin knew Jungkook spoke with his fists and it wouldn’t do any good for his best friend to beat up a rich boy with a lawyer for a dad.
Jungkook led Jimin inside his house, smiling down at him. Jimin grew shy under his stare, looking up at him through wet eyelashes. “I wanted to thank you for being so thoughtful tonight.” Jimin’s hand grabbed the collar of Jungkook’s jean jacket and lightly tugged, yanking the taller boy down to his height. Jungkook quirked a brow, suddenly feeling overheated in his jacket. Jimin’s plump lips placed a gentle kiss on Jungkook’s cheek and he felt his face grow red.
Jimin didn’t need to worry about what once was anymore. He needed to live in the moment, so he did just that.
Why are you here?
Pairings: Hoseok x reader (exes, post breakup)
Word count: 1.2 k
summary: You tried your hardest to forget him. You tried to forget his loving presence and his heart shaped smile. You tried to forget how gentle he was with you and all the late night talks. But all of a sudden now he’s here at your doorstep.
You’re wearing his hoodie again and you promised yourself you wouldn’t look back after you both called it quits. The soft cotton material makes your chest tighten and you’re not sure if it’s because you miss Hoseok or because you’re cruel to your own heart. But here you are in your tiny cluttered apartment on a Friday night left with memories of the dancer. You try not to let your mind wander. You try to stand your ground and keep your guard up, you really do. People like you wear your heart on your sleeve so what was the point of trying to hide this intense emotion of heartbreak and yearning for him to be in your arms again.
Some nights were harder than others. Some days there was resentment in your heart, others you craved for his touch and didn’t care about the words you both exchanged and regretted months ago. You lazily got up and entered the kitchen, eagerly grabbing your favorite tub of ice cream and a large spoon.
You sighed in satisfaction when you took a spoonful and felt it melt in your mouth. Your tastebuds prickled slightly, an indication that you haven’t ate in a while. You were left to question if you really were taking care of yourself after the breakup.
Hoseok’s inked hands tightly clutched the steering wheel. His head hit it in defeat as he slumped over, his hair concealing his hooded eyes. Was he really going to do this? Just show up without notice because he missed you so much? He was sitting here in his car only a few blocks away from your apartment. Jimin wanted him to go to a party with him tonight, but he wasn’t interested. He hated the meaningless hookups he did in an awful attempt to forget you. He hated getting blackout drunk from alcohol and waking up with a shitty hangover. Hoseok was already struggling with addiction and he didn’t need to get himself in any more trouble with the law.
Sometimes Hoseok thinks you’re better off without trash like him. He wondered how you’d feel if you found out he quit dancing and didn’t even have enough motivation to get out of bed. He needed to face his fear and quit avoiding you. He swallowed his pride and stepped out of his car, adjusting the collar of his jacket. He walked up the steps to your apartment and he could feel his heart racing with anxiety. “You can do this, Hoseok.” He nervously reassured himself and hesitantly pressed the doorbell.
Your gaze shifted from your spoonful of ice cream to the door. Who could that be? You checked your phone and it was 12:18 am. Why was someone at your apartment this late? You contemplated whether to hide in your kitchen and wait for the unknown person to leave but what if it was Jungkook and it was an emergency? Maybe you should answer it. They rang it two more times and you cursed under your breath in annoyance. Taking a leap of faith you scrambled for the door and swung it open only to meet the unexpected. He was here. Right in front of you, in the flesh.
“I needed to see you again.” Hoseok looks around as he confesses it out into the night air, clad in a leather jacket and black ripped jeans. Your heart is betraying you again, it’s loud and furious and it’s only beating for his existence. Something you’d never admit by mouth. He slowly looks you up and down, his eyes are glistening with disbelief. He notices that you’re wearing his hoodie with his name on it. He parted his lips like he was going to comment on it but decided not to. It’s pretty much silent except for the college party going on across the street and cars passing by to an unknown destination.
Maybe their destination is better than yours. You’re lost and trapped, desperately clawing your way to the top again to breathe. Trapped in this tiny apartment with meaningless I love you’s and soft cotton hoodies with his last name plastered on the back to last a lifetime. “Why are you here?” You try your best to not let your eyes betray you. Can he see the desire in your eyes? Does he notice the way they’re filled to the brim with months worth of unshed tears and unvoiced pain.
Hoseok gently took his calloused hands in your soft ones and he met your eyes with a longing gaze. “I miss you. Just give me a moment to-“ You crumbled. He grew silent and the worried look he gave you was enough to make you break. The tears wouldn’t stop and before you knew it, you were pulling away again from the man you wanted to be closest with the most.
You feel out of place and it seems like your most anticipated interaction is going all the ways you didn’t want it to. You planned for this day for months. Talking to yourself in the mirror and daydreaming at work about how you would act in front of your ex boyfriend. But this wasn’t how it was supposed to go. Not with you in his hoodie and pajama pants with him seeing on full display how much of a wreck you are without him. His hands reached for yours and you gently pulled away. It was like two boats passing by. You both were never on the same page and something simple and subtle like this was a painful reminder.
Your cries were violent, your body was betraying you. “I’m so sorry.” You whispered softly. Strong arms pulled you in and your head was resting against his broad chest. Something so familiar but also foreign. He gently rubbed your back, a gesture sweet enough to drag you back down the Jung Hoseok rabbit hole. You basked in the comfort and took what you could get from him. As painful as it was to be in his arms knowing you couldn’t keep him, it was better than reminiscing. You clung to Hoseok as if your life depended on it and he rested his chin on your head, making you feel small but protected in your moment of vulnerability. “How often do you cry like this?” Hoseok spoke softly. You didn’t answer. Your silence was enough to answer that question and it made Hoseok’s chest tighten in guilt.
His rough hand tenderly caressed your cheek and his other arm wrapped around your waist pulling you closer against his firm chest. The last time you were touched like this was when you both were together and you realized how touch starved you truly are. His eyes are holding you captive and you feel yourself just stay put, not wanting to leave. Your hands eventually find his chest and he leaned down slightly and pressed his lips against yours. The kiss is passionate and you want to ask what the fuck is happening but he’s pulling you so close the scent of his cologne is overwhelming you. You both pull away after what seems like hours and he looks at you like you’re the most important person in the entire universe.
Maybe you both couldn’t let each other go after all.
One Summer Night (Part 2)
Pairings: Seokjin x FemReader, Hoseok x FemReader
Warnings: LOTS of 50s/60s slang and references, swearing, love triangle, sexual themes in future
Summary: Seokjin meets Y/N while on vacation at the beach. He’s a greaser that smokes, gets in fights and overall has a bad reputation. Y/N doesn’t know what she’s getting herself into when the greaser shows himself a different side to himself while he’s away from his peers. What’s going to come of this when Y/N transfers to his school and a certain friend takes a liking to someone?
Word Count: 2900
Sighing, you rubbed the side of your head. Why was Seokjin being so confusing to you? “Did you ever think about me when we separated? Because I thought about you everyday.” You poured your heart out, deciding it was either all or nothing at this point. “Yes. I thought about holding you everyday like I did this summer. But here at school.. things are different for me. I’m scared you’re gonna leave, okay?” Seokjin ran a hand through his hair, unsure of where he was going with this. He didn’t want to admit just how terrible he was just yet. “I’d never leave you. I’m staying right here.”
Seokjin sighed, letting out the breath he was holding in. “I’ll let you meet my friends. I’m sorry for making you feel like I felt ashamed of you. I’m just ashamed of my past and I don’t want them tainting you.” You nodded at his explanation, forgiving him because even you knew you two were complete opposites. You gently squeezed his hand and Seokjin pressed a kiss to your head. Sitting in comfortable silence, you rested your head on his shoulder. “Some of the cheerleaders were looking for me, so I might have to head back earlier than expected.”
“That’s alright. I’ll catch up with you at a better time. I’m just glad you’re back.”
You beamed at his words, walking away in deep thought.
You heard footsteps approaching from behind you and you jolted, clearly expecting the stubborn boy you talked to not even five minutes ago. "Do you wanna have a sleepover with me and the girls?" Joy softly spoke up with concern lacing her words. You contemplated for a second but didn't want to disappoint so you agreed. Maybe you'd feel better or get a good distraction out of this.
Joy smiled kindly, leading you to the car that Yeri and the girls were waiting for you in. You held your skirt up a bit and watched your step, not noticing the way Hoseok stared at you a few yards away. He had an elbow leaned against his car as his eyes followed your figure intently. "That's Seokjin's girl." Jimin stated matter of factly as he dug through his pockets for a lighter. The older boy scoffed as he rolled his eyes. "Seokjin isn't even good for her. I'd know what's good for her. She's too innocent for.." Hoseok trailed off with his words and rubbed the back of his neck.
"For what, huh?" Jungkook obliviously looked up at the two boys, clearly not in on the conversation.
"You're young, don't worry bout it." Hoseok ran a hand through his dark hair, in an attempt to slick it back.
"We gotta get going guys. We g-gotta bug out!" Suddenly Taehyung's breathing was fast and his whole demeanor screamed that he was nervous. Taehyung had pretty severe anxiety after he was jumped a few months ago back in April. He was on his way to school when gangs from another school came up behind him and pulled a pocket knife out on him.
They beat him so bad, the poor kid had a limp. He had a black eye and a nasty cut on his upper left cheek.
"Kid! Relax, what's wrong?" Namjoon took a step closer to the boy with an unreadable expression on his face. "They're looking for Jin.." Taehyung breathed out, his eyes blown out and unfocused. Seokjin slid off his leather jacket and his eyes darkened. "I'm not afraid of a rumble."
Hoseok stormed over to him, swear words and insults leaving his mouth. "Do it and you'll worry Y/N even more! Do you even care?!"
"Since when do you give a shit what goes on between me and my girlfriend." Seokjin spat, making sure to emphasize the word 'girlfriend'. Hoseok's nostrils flared in anger, his eyebrows furrowing as he looked at his friend for a moment. Namjoon looked at the two of them, feeling uneasy. He wanted to intervene but maybe it would be better if they talked it out. "Go ahead and do it. Make us look like the filthy rowdy greasers we are, right?" Hoseok's words struck a chord in everyone and it went silent. The pep rally and tires screeching as Yeri's car passed them, was the only noise that could be heard.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Do you wanna get your ears pierced, honey?" Joy asked sweetly, grabbing a small bag with sanitary tools off of her tall wooden dresser. You shook your head and your hands violently waved at her. "No! I don't think my father would like that very much.." You admitted awkwardly with every girl in the room staring at you. "Cmon. It's just an earring." Joy nudged you slightly, with a reassuring smile. Yeri crossed her arms and scoffed.
"Y/N is a little goody two shoes. It's starting to really annoy me. She could never be one of us." Yeri spoke up after Joy dragged you to her bathroom and you were both out of earshot. "Well, I think that goody two shoes has a certain greaser wrapped around her finger." Jennie knowingly pointed out, grabbing a wig styled exactly how you did your own hair. "Give me that!" Yeri snickered, putting it unevenly on her head. She purposely made her voice sound like yours and played with a strand of hair from the wig. Jennie burst into laughter, kicking her feet in the air as she held her stomach.
“Joy that hurts!" You gasped, feeling the sharp needle poke through your earlobe. You never had anything like this before and you weren't entirely sure your parents would approve of this. "That's alright. Ice should do the trick. You'll be fine in no time."
As she finished up and cleaned the blood, you both walked back to her room. She was very gentle with you and took her time and for that you were thankful. She seemed to be the friendliest out of the girls and you began to wonder how she even started hanging out with a group like them.
"Oh look at me I-"
Your heart sank as you entered Joy's bedroom. Yeri looked like a deer caught in headlights as she shared your gaze. She hastily threw off the wig, letting it fly somewhere on the floor in Joy's messy but large bedroom.
"Are you making fun of me, Yeri?" You timidly questioned her but your voice was barely above a whisper. "Some people are so touchy." Yeri declared, pushing herself of the bed to look out the window. "What are the boys doing here?" Jennie gasped, looking down at the revealing nightgown she was sporting right in front of the window. "My parents will flip!" Joy groaned, gently pushing the girls out of view and lifted her window up with both hands.
"Oh Y/N! Wherefore art thou Y/N!" Jungkook screamed at the top of his lungs, his head thrown back as he knelt on one knee in the backseat of the car. "Quit it." Seokjin glared, lightly smacking the brunette over the head. Jimin and Taehyung were laughing hysterically but Seokjin didn't find this amusing at all. Since it was late at night and the lights were on in Joy's room, the boys could see inside perfectly and Hoseok couldn't help but yearn to see you. Even if it was just for a second. This was all he'd get anyway, you know with his best friend being your summer fling and future boyfriend.
A fire ignited within Hoseok when you suddenly locked eyes. Giving you a small wink, he shoved his hands in his pockets. You couldn't believe your eyes. Your face turned beat red and you practically jolted out of the windows view. Those greasers really were something.
Hoseok chuckled softly and shook his head. With the way you were flustered so easily he couldn't help but want to do small things like this more. Yoongi eyed Hoseok suspiciously, then turned his head to look at Seokjin. "Alright guys, Yoongi needs me! See you losers later." Yeri giggled obnoxiously, crawling out of the window. "Hey! Be careful!" Jennie shrieked, peering from behind the bed. Yeri slowly slid down the drain pipe, cautiously landing on both of her feet. Prancing over to Yoongi, he gently wrapped his arm around her waist and they couldn't get their hands off of each other the moment they reconnected. Yoongi hopped into the drivers seat, pulling out of the driveway.
"Hey what about us?" Jimin exasperatedly asked, throwing his hands up in the air.
"Hit the pavement!" Yoongi grunted with a flick of his cigarette. Yeri softly kissed his cheek, rolling her eyes at the boys through the rear view mirror. Hoseok sighed, jumping out of the car. The rest of the boys followed suit, mumbling in annoyance amongst themselves. "You know when a guy chooses a girl over his buddies, something's gotta be wrong!" Taehyung shouted, cupping his mouth with his hands.
"Alright guys. Let's just go get some milkshakes. There's no use arguing with Yoongs." Seokjin comfortingly patted Jungkook's back. Everyone tried to ignore the obvious growing tension between Hoseok and Seokjin. But it was getting harder to by the minute.
Seokjin was a real patient guy, really. But he was surely losing it when it came to Hoseok. He saw the little thing he did earlier to you.
What was his deal? Why was he trying to get close to you?
"Hey, Y/N? Are you going to the dance?" Jennie asked, as she twirled a strand of her dark locks. "Well.. I was hoping Seokjin would ask me." You admitted sheepishly, fiddling with the necklace that you always wore. "Oh I'm sure it'll work out! You guys are so cute together." You smiled confidently at her words but you couldn't help but ponder what Seokjin meant earlier. He said you inspired him to change for the better, but how true was that? You desperately wanted to believe his words but when you saw how odd Seokjin acted around his friends you couldn't help but get insecure.
He was still the gentle and sweet boy he was back in June. You shouldn't judge a book by his cover and Seokjin didn't give you much of a reason to not trust him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Clutching your books in your arms, you slowly approached your locker. Seokjin was leaning against it, looking over at you expectantly. "Jinnie." You greeted meekly, maneuvering around him to put in your locker combination. "I've missed you. Did you think about what I-"
“What's this?" You interrupted him with panic in your voice. Seokjin's expression softened, staring at you in pure awe. You gently reached up for Seokjin's cheek, caressing it. Seokjin broke eye contact with you, slouching slightly as guilt seemed to come for every fiber in his being. "It's just a bruise."
"But who did it? Don't tell me you fought anyone! Seokjin.." So many thoughts ran through your head as you looked at him. Seokjin just wanted to impress you by trying to seem like a better person than he actually was. The local police department knew his name and he's been in and out of jail so many times, Namjoon had to bail his sorry ass out. Seokjin's father didn't even care about him and everyone in the gang knew that. Seokjin was just as cold and fierce as ice but he was fiery and blazing red when he was pissed.
He was too much of everything to even be anything. But everyone knew one thing about Seokjin. One of these days he was going to lash out and when he did.. no one would be able to control him.
"Are you alright atleast?" You asked quietly, gently resting your head against Seokjin's firm chest as you warmly embraced him. "Yes. I'm doing okay." Seokjin knew he blatantly lied but he tried to shake the guilt as he gently patted the back of your head. His closed his eyes tightly, taking in your sweet scent as he held you close. A couple of students were looking at you two with curiosity and a girl whispered quietly amongst her friends.
“Seokjin is such a dreamboat.. she’s so lucky.” The group of seven boys and Yeri’s friends approached you two as you hesitantly pulled away from each other.
Hoseok had on a sleeveless black shirt with some jeans and he looked like he didn’t get much sleep last night. You gave him a worried glance, unsure of how to approach him. “Hey lovebirds! We gotta get to class you know. I mean unless you wanna go to the janitors closet or something.” Jimin grinned, wiggling his eyebrows as he pivoted on his heel. “Since when did Park Jimin care about his studies?” Namjoon chuckled, grabbing the smaller boy and dragging him to english class. “What did he mean about the janitors closet? Isn’t it forbidden to even go in there?” You asked innocently, looking over at your new group of friends, (who couldn’t stop laughing by the way.)
“Ah it’s not too important, Y/N.” Seokjin genuinely laughed, ruffling your hair a bit. You felt your heart soar a bit. That was the first time you ever made him laugh like that. It felt so sincere. “You’re so cute.” Hoseok felt a smile tug at his lips even though the dark under eyes he had didn’t look too good. You felt blood rush to your face and you stared down at the floor. “Hoseok.” Seokjin glared. “Guess we’ll see you later. We have class to get to.” Hoseok smirked, gently taking your hand in his as he led you to class.
You waved the tall greaser goodbye and looked over at Hoseok with wonder.
You both took your seats, sitting next to each other. It was science class and you both decided to be partners since the teacher let everyone pick themselves. You thought maybe since it was the first week of school they were being nicer and more leisurely. At your old school everything was a lot different but you didn’t mind. “Hoseok? Are you doing okay? You just seem.. tired.” Taking a break from writing, you turned your attention to him. “Are you concerned about me Kitten?” Hoseok smiled tiredly, resting his head in his hands as he tilted his head.
“I can do the work for now. I think you should rest up, please?” You tried to ignore the pet name but you couldn’t exactly ignore the butterflies swarming around in your stomach. “I didn’t get much sleep last night because I had to take care of my little siblings.” He paused for a second, as he rested his head on the desk looking downright exhausted. “Don’t tell the boys this. But my dad left my mom and us for good. So I’m helping around the house as the oldest brother.. but it’s getting harder to keep up.” He struggled to find the right words and he felt his voice crack but he tried suppressing it. Your expression softened and you gently patted his back.
“It’s okay, you don’t need to be strong all the time. Everyone needs a well deserved break some days.”
Hoseok nodded at your words, melting into your motherly and tender touch. Just your hand on his back had him screaming internally for more.
“Do you want to get milkshakes with me later this afternoon? I can pick you up.” Hoseok sat upright after a few minutes and looked over at you focused on your schoolwork. You were surprised he wanted to spend more time with you but you really didn’t mind. Hoseok was a sweet guy. “Oh! Not like a date or anything just like us hanging out and..” His sentence trailed off and he had a frantic look in his eyes. It was a look you’d never expect on a confident and outgoing guy like him.
"Hoseok. I'd like that a lot." You couldn't help but smile at how sincere the look of relief on Hoseok's face was when you accepted his offer.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Do you think Hoseok has a crush on Y/N?” Jungkook spoke lowly, as he cleaned a tool and handed it to Taehyung. Taehyung laid down on a small wooden skateboard and slid back under the car. “Well if you’re asking me. I think he does.” Jimin spoke up, after washing up Hoseok’s red car in the workshops garage. “He just seems awfully jealous of Jin and I think they need to work it out or somethin.” Taehyung yelled under the car, sounding slightly muffled as he continued to work.
"Huh, is that so?" Hoseok entered the garage with a cigarette between his lips.
The three boys went silent and Jimin laughed nervously, hiding behind a shelf. "Speaking of Y/N, I'm taking the broad out so you better beat it and have my car finished real soon." Hoseok hollered over the radio that played music and clapped his hands, ushering for the boys to hurry up.
“Just don’t let Jin find out.” Jungkook gawked.
“He won’t if you don’t tell him.”

One Summer Night
Pairings: Seokjin x Reader, Hoseok x Reader
Warnings: LOTS 50s/60s slang and references, swearing, love triangle,sexual themes in future
Summary: Seokjin meets Y/N while on vacation at the beach. He’s a greaser that smokes, gets in fights and overall has a bad reputation. Y/N doesn’t know what she’s getting herself into when the greaser shows himself a different side to himself while he’s away from his peers. What’s going to come of this when Y/N transfers to his school and a certain friend takes a liking to someone?
a/n: this has been sitting in my drafts for a while and if you want me to make more parts I can. this was more of a ‘pilot’ to see if it would get attention so that’s why it’s so short !!^^
Seokjin gulped nervously, rubbing his hands together for warmth from the cold autumn air. “You alright, kid?” Yoongi grunted, his face dimly lit from the lighter he held in his slender hands. “Aye watch who you call a kid. You’re cruisin’ for a bruisin’ man.” Seokjin gruffly responded, watching the cheerleaders in their long skirts jump around and cheer on their football team.
It was the first pep rally for their schools team this year and Seokjin was nervous. It’s not like the greaser was athletic anyway, he was nervous because you were going to be there.
It’s been months since he saw you since your summer fling and he wasn’t sure how’d you react to seeing a guy like him.. or his friends. A loud screeching noise from a tire was heard aside from the noisy cheering coming from students and the band playing. The group of greasers snapped their heads in the direction of the noise. “It’s them again.” Taehyung said icily.
“Man, this is buggin’. Is Seokjin still wanting to take us on for a race next week?” Johnny spoke gruffly with a cigarette in one hand and the other on the wheel. “Beat it. You’re on our turf.” The boys leader, Namjoon stood his ground and slid off the hood of Hoseok’s beat up car. Seokjin wanted to yell, swear, hell maybe even start a rumble but his nerves were all over the place. Johnny snarled and drove off, leaving the seven boys in a mood. The schools band was still playing and the coach was getting ready to give some speech that he couldn’t give a shit about.
“You know.. when I get this car all done up. She’s gonna run like a champ.” Hoseok spoke up after a bit of much needed silence, slapping the hood gently. “Treat her like that and she won’t run at all.” Jimin burst out laughing and Hoseok snapped his head in his direction. Jimin let out a shriek as the older boy grabbed him by his shirt collar.
“Yeah, he’s definitely here!” Yeri snickered, a hand on your back as the rest of the girls pulled you along. Wide eyed and confused, you anxiously held onto your skirt. “Let’s get a little backseat bingo goin with a few girls and I’ll be good.” Jungkook laughed, making a swift hip thrusting motion. A blonde haired boy clad in a leather jacket rolled his eyes and shoved the younger boy. “Move it grease.” Yeri said roughly to Taehyung and pushed you forward in front of the boys. So many eyes were staring you up and down and you felt so out of place.
Suddenly your gaze was met by.. Seokjin?
He looked so different now. His hair was slicked back and he had on a leather jacket. Where was the sweet boy you met on vacation? He seemed so much more.. intimidating now. Y/N?” A strand of hair fell in Seokjin’s face as he looked down at you with a surprised expression on his face.
“S-Seokjin!” Your entire face lit up and you felt yourself grow shy under his stare. He was really here.. standing in front of you.
You couldn’t even believe it. Your heart was racing and you didn’t know if you could take it anymore. “I didn’t think I’d see you again. I thought you were going back to your hometown after vacation.” He breathed out as if he’d been holding his breath, gently taking your smaller and softer hands in his.
He took you in and kept eye contact with you, never once did he acknowledge any of his surroundings. You were so different from the girls where he lived. You were so pure and soft. You still had a sense of innocence about you and it made Seokjin want to fall in love with you all over again. “We had a change of plans.” Your nervousness was betraying you and you felt yourself grow hot.
Was it the bonfire or the close proximity with the boy you gave your first kiss too?
“You two know each other or something?” Jimin raised an eyebrow and leaned in curiously. Hoseok face palmed but not before elbowing his friend in the ribs. Yeri felt dejected and decided to walk away with her group of friends, clearly what she wanted to happen didn’t happen. Seokjin was hers first and suddenly you came into the picture and he’s completely different now. Why do you get to be that person?
“I don’t want you meeting my friends.” Seokjin grunted lowly, swooping his arm around you and pulling you close to his side. He pulled you away from the crowd and your peers gave you weird looks.
A cute girl like you with a filthy long haired greaser?
“Why not? They don’t even seem that bad, Jinnie.” Jin felt his chest tighten at your choice of words specifically and the way you looked at him had him going insane. “No you don’t get it.. they’re not like you and I don’t want you thinking any differently of me. Okay?” Jin looked around, setting his hands on your shoulders as he focused his gaze on you.
“Are you ashamed of me? Is that it?” Your voice was shaky as you held back tears that threatened to spill at any moment. Pushing the taller boy away, you looked down at your saddle shoes, walking away from him with a fast pace. “No no no. That’s not it!” Seokjin immediately chased after you, grabbing you by your wrist.
“I don’t want you to leave me.. when you find out who I am.” His lips parted slightly as he paused before continuing.
“When I was with you back in the summer. You made me want to change.”

I had a dream about Hoseok. He was at my school and ig I was showing him around and I sat with him at lunch and he was really outgoing and everyone was trying to talk to him. I think I grabbed his sleeve or something to get his attention and he was taken off guard and smiled at me. Then we got in deep conversation.
Skip to after the school day and I get his number. Later that day I went to my small dance teams practice for our competition and he ended up watching and wanted to join. I just remember dancing with him and we kept locking eyes in the huge wall mirror in front of the room. It truly felt so real. My memory is blurry after all that but I remember him teaching me a dance and we started getting closer. I’ve been having a lot of stress recently and this dream was a gift and really made me happy and euphoric.
