Seokjin turns to look at him, and then freezes. Yoongi’s wearing his hoodie. The one he was wearing during soundcheck earlier.

For a moment, all Seokjin can do is stare at him.

His eyes trace the delicate curve of Yoongi’s neck, the sharp jut of his collarbones exposed by the half unzipped sweatshirt, the way his skin appears to be paler in the moonlight. He can’t get over the sleeves of the hoodie on Yoongi’s hands. They’re already long on Seokjin himself, but Yoongi’s given himself little sweater paws, just the tips of his long fingers peeking out. A poem for little things, Seokjin thinks, and then he kind of wants to slap himself for being so sappy.

(or, Seokjin has a lot of feelings about Yoongi stealing his hoodie.)

The Grim Reaper, they called him. He was the weird kid in school who knew exactly when someone’s mother was about to die. They didn’t believe him when he’d said it, and they didn’t believe him when he said he wasn’t a psychic, and they didn’t believe him when he said he didn’t cause her death.

The Grim Reaper, they still sometimes call him. Legendary trial lawyer who became known for weeding out the bad guy no one else suspected and putting them in prison. It was almost like he had a sixth sense for it. Like no one was safe from him. Like the black cloud of death still follows him around and no matter how much he tries to shake it off, it doesn’t let go.

Seokjin wonders at what point death had stopped following him around, and at what point he’d started to become death itself.

in which Seokjin can see everyone's lifespan floating above their heads, numbers steadily counting down to their deaths. the numbers never change, or so he thought.

admin: i loved this specially the first 2/3rd of this story was wonderful. this was beautifully written. i love how suspenseful it was like i genuinely could not sleep because of how thrilling it was. please read the warnings before reading.
