Hey Y'all 馃挰
I'm back from a well needed winter break, and more motivated than ever!
Hubs is going to be deploying soon, so I have a list of deployment goals to accomplish while he's away. Before he goes, I plan on making a YouTube video (which I'm terrified about doing, but it's one of my 2018 aspirations, so let's give it a go)!
I didn't want to post anything earlier until I was sure I could actually stick to it, but for the past week or so, I've been learning/practicing Keto. So far I'm enjoying the results, however and feel kinda sluggish and heavy feeling. I believe it's from going from a HCLF diet to now a HFLC. I'm seeing results a bit faster this go around, and hubs is enjoying it very much.
Lastly, I did gain about 8 pounds over the holidays. But, I decided not to beat myself up about it too much. I was enjoying the company of family and friends, making dear memories. And I know what to do to get the weight off. A big reason I haven't posted until now is because I wanted to get back to the weight I was before the holidays, and thankfully now I am 馃槃
Looking forward to getting back on the weight loss train, and all the ups and downs that come with it. Thank y'all for supporting me along the way 馃挀馃挀馃挀

Wanted to post this NSV thing morning from the late night cardio session last night. Went to the gym for the first time in a week. Hadn't been because I had been feeling insecure in myself. I was on the verge of an emotional fit, so I got my add up, got dressed, and went to the gym. And by doing so, I ran a mile without stopping for the first time in my life. I couldn't even do that in high school, when I weighed 50lbs less than I do now! I'm just so proud of myself for the first time in a long while and wanted someone to know.

Got to the gym at 0600 this morning, when I normally go around 09. Might be getting up earlier to work out from now on! Now to shower and get some grocery shopping done! Weighed in at 278.4 this morning, making things happen y'all!

Good Afternoon All,聽
This prolonged weekend was pretty weird. Hubs and I were supposed to go home for labor day, but his job had other plans. He ended up not coming home Friday evening until after midnight, and we both had to be back on base the following morning at 06 for his promotion ceremony.聽
Then, because of hurricane Irma being so unpredictable, they made us stay on base for the weekend just in case hubs had to be called back in for work.聽
But, even though plans didn鈥檛 go as, well, planned, we had a good weekend. We watched The Vow together, and went grocery shopping. It was really nice. I forget how much those little things mean to me when he is here at the moment. I know my heart is going to break again when he leaves next year.聽
I鈥檓 just going to try to take every moment in while he is here.聽

Sorry for the amount of posts today, I won鈥檛 be here all weekend. Husband and I are going back home for the long weekend to see our parents and catch a baseball game. Here鈥檚 some pictures of him and I and then our dog.

September 1st Official Weigh-In
281lbs!
That is a drop of 4 pounds since last week, and a total of 25 pounds lost since May, which is pretty decent. Of course I would love to be loosing faster, but loosing this weight and keeping it off is a process and I understand that.聽
I weigh myself every Friday and give myself small monthly goals (so my major goal of 120lbs doesn鈥檛 scare me as much lol).聽
So, hubs is going to be gone most of the month, and I finish school on the thirteenth, so getting to the gym a little more shouldn鈥檛 be a problem. Right now I鈥檓 going to the gym about 1-2 days a week staying for about 2 hours each time. I do plenty of body weight exercises at home throughout the day (like squats, lunges, burpees, push ups) and try to get some yoga done in the mornings when I first wake up.聽
I鈥檓 primarily focused on food right now, and trying to really know what I am putting into my body. I have been sticking to being vegan pretty successfully, and hubs and I both believe the high carb low fat diet is working wonders for us. Husband alone has lost right at 19 pounds in one month just from adding one day a week at the gym and following this lifestyle.聽
Now on to planning Septembers goals:
I want to loose about 3lbs a week, with my size, I believe that is attainable. By October 1, I want to be 269. A dream goal of mine would to be 250 by Halloween. I want to go buy a really nice dress for my husbands ball at the beginning of December. 聽Wouldn鈥檛 it be nice to be introduced to his family as his wife 50lbs slimmer than when I last saw them?
I believe I can do this. It is just going to take a lot of determination and hard work. Getting those work outs in and making sure I am putting the right foods in my body. Let鈥檚 Go September!

Just felt a little down lately, and very unmotivated. I鈥檝e got plenty of school work finished, but other than that I haven鈥檛 really accomplished much else. My weight loss has kinda plateaued and I鈥檓 not sure what to incorporate next. Woke up today and did some yoga at 530. Had some apples in my oatmeal and pumpkin spice to my coffee.聽
Ready for fall runs and to feel okay. Please send good vibes my way so I can hopefully get out of this funk and feel like myself again.聽
