I will be starting an ocean passage tomorrow from Noumea to Opua, New Zealand and will be out for 6 days. I absolutely love New Zealand but am so so sad to leave this place after such a journey. The last 5 months of my life has seen me do all sorts of new things for the first time ever. I've gained an honorary mum, dad and sister. I've lost loved ones and met some truly incredible new friends who have given me the best nicknames. I've caught fish and swam with sharks, almost got traded for livestock, almost got kidnapped and made to serve up Bloody Mary's for the rest of my days. I've lived on boats since May and sailed across oceans! No way I could have ever imagined what I'd get up to when I first stepped on board but it's been the best.
