His large hands engulf your waist, making you feel small as he presses you up against the porcelain sink, his chest pushed up tightly against your back and the thick outline of his cock prodding into the fat of your ass.
You're trapped, soft curve of your belly squishing into the sink, one of Steve's hands wandering from your waist to dip beneath the short hem of your skirt, fingertips skimming your inner thigh until your legs fall open for him. He's done this before, that much is obvious — from how comfortable he is pressing you into this position, to how his spit-slick lips mouth at the shell of your ear, whiskey laced breath hitting the soft skin.
You whine quietly when the pads of Steve's fingers slide over the damp material of your panties, pressing down onto your clothed clit until you're arching into him, curve of your ass pushing back onto his cock until he's grunting in your ear, the sound heavenly, your cunt fluttering.
"You're soaked," Steve comments, the grin spreading across his lips when you keen into him, hips bucking into his hand. Your own hands come out to brace yourself on the sink, nails biting into the hardened material as you sag back against him, leaving yourself pliant and open for his wandering hands.
Nervous butterflies flutter in your belly as Steve dips his fingers into your panties, two expert fingers sliding through the wet mess of your pussy, getting the digits nice and wet before he sinks them both in at the same time, crooking them forward into your frontal wall until you're gasping.
"Feels good, right?" Steve mutters, planting a kiss just below your ear lobe, lips running over your flushed skin as he begins working his fingers in and out of your needy cunt. You open up for him so easily, body loose and pliant under his grip as he fucks you on his fingers, kissing and biting at your skin until it's raised and raw.
"Mmph," You mumble, nodding your head in agreement — it's embarrassing how quickly you melt into him, letting him grip and manhandle your body as he fucks you languidly with his long fingers, curling and pressing them into that one spot until your vision blurs at the edges.
His other hand wanders up, up, up — fingers dipping into the low cut neck of your shirt, pulling the loose material until your tits fall out, nipples hardening in the cool air of the room. You cry out as soft fingertips run over your nipple, heightening the pleasure of his fingers working in and out of your cunt.
"You're perfect," Steve mutters, kissing sloppily up the side of your neck as he toys with your body, thumb running over the hardened nub of your clit and shocking a cry of his name from your lips, "say my name again, you sound too fuckin' pretty."
"Steve," you squeal, fingers whitening on the hard surface of the sink, a warmth spreading throughout your lower belly as he works you towards the edge — using every inch of your body, "I'm gonna —"
"That's it, cum for me, baby." Steve's all but cackling as your mouth falls open in an almost silent moan, thighs quivering and stomach tensing up as your orgasm hits you like a freight train — you feel yourself gushing wet all over his fingers, soaking him down to the wrist as he continues fucking you through it, leaving you dizzy and overstimulated.
"Too much, God, Steve," You cry, your own hand leaves the sink to grip at his wrist, fingernails clawing at his tan skin. You can't tell if you're trying to keep him there or push him away, though he doesn't let up pressing his fingers into your frontal wall until your cunt gushes for him again, an animalistic noise tearing from your throat as he pulls another orgasm from you. It's not enough to drown out the sounds of your release dripping onto the floor, pooling at your feet on the tile.
"Just wanted to make sure you were ready to take me that's all, honey," He comments, that stupid smirk on his face as he catches your eyes through the reflection in the mirror, his fingers deftly slipping from you, "I've been told I'm a bit of a stretch."
He bends you back over the sink, arching your back and flipping your skirt up. You're still tipsy, pussy fluttering and clenching as you wait in anticipation for the breach of his cock. You watch your own reflection briefly in the mirror, cringe at the flushed state of your face, before dipping your head again.
Steve shuffles around behind you, your ears pricking up at the sound of his belt unbuckling, the rustling of his Levi's being pushed down his thighs. He sighs quietly, jerking his cock a few times for a little relief before lining himself up, smearing the fat head into the wet mess you left.
The head of his cock catching on your puffy cunt shocks you, a loud gasp escaping you — he felt big.
"Holy shit," Your breath is knocked from your lungs when the first few inches slide into your pussy, your walls pulsing around him as you struggle to adjust. His fingertips dig into the meat of your ass when you attempt to wiggle your hips, a warning to stop.
"Still so fucking tight around my dick, fuck," Steve hisses, punching his hips forward until he's snug up against your ass, pushing himself so deep your eyes roll into your skull.
"Your cock is huge," You whimper, voice high pitched and wavering as your pussy clenches sporadically around him, adjusting to the sheer size of him. No amount of prep could've gotten you ready enough for him.
"I know." Steve's voice is smug as he grins, pulling out halfway and pushing back in just as quickly, choking a cry from you in return.
His rhythm is brutal from the get go, an evident sign of how desperate he was to blow his load, heavy balls slapping against your soaked cunt with every thrust. Your head hangs low, blurry eyes squeezing shut as you let him use you — he's so thick that the pressure on your g-spot is relentless, has you gushing even wetter for him.
Long fingers run into your scalp, gripping a handful of your hair to snap your head up, pulling sharply on the crown until you're gasping, "Watch yourself, watch me fuck you." Steve demands.
You open your eyes, catching his own hard ones watching you already through the mirror. You're — well you're a fucking mess. Shining with sweat, cheeks burning hot, mouth hung open. You're covered in bruises and bite marks, all the way down to your tits that bounce with every sharp punch of Steve's hips, nipples pebbled and aching to be touched.
"You look so fucking hot," Steve groans, shoving into you deeper for emphasis, forcing a cry from your lips, "All wrecked on my cock, baby. Like a fuckin' wet dream."
Your cheeks flush even hotter at his words, though your cunt clenches, hips pushing back onto him in response to his filthy mouth.
Steve chokes on a groan, digs his fingers into your waist, "Should see how good you're taking me, honey. Your pussy loves me."
"S'all yours," You whimper, a loud moan ripping from you when he pulls your hair tighter at that, thrusting into you and rolling his hips. The head of his cock presses so deep you swear you feel him in your guts, every ridge and vein prominent.
Your eyes catch his once more through your reflection — his eyelids half-hooded, lips parted in an almost constant string of grunts and groans. The noises do it for you, every single one shooting straight to your core.
"I'm gonna cum, need you to cum first, yeah?" Steve groans, hips pistoning into you as he chases his high, the loud clapping of your wet skin increasing tenfold, "Can I cum in you? Y'gonna let me fill this pussy and claim it? Please?"
"Ohmygod," You whine, eyes squeezing shut as the coil in your tummy snaps, your pussy pulsing and squeezing around Steve as you come, body vibrating with it. The white hot heat coursing through your veins, orgasm ripping through your entire body.
Steve chokes on a groan, pulling your hair even tighter and snapping your neck back, "Oh fuck, you're so fucking tight," he literally whines, and in your hazy state you push your hips back in retaliation, pushing him even deeper, "that's it honey, fuck, fuuuuck—!"
His cock pulses in you when he comes, hot spurts painting your insides as you mewl, whimpering quietly when he grips onto your waist to steady himself. It feels like he comes for ages, filling you up until you feel it drooling from your cunt.
Your body basically goes limp when his fingers stop gripping your hair, instead soothing your stinging scalp. His other hand rubs up your side, fingertips pressing into squishy skin until you're keening into it.
There's momentary silence, until a deep chuckle rumbles from Steve's chest, his spent cock slipping from you and eliciting a pretty gasp from his lips, "You've made quite the mess, honey."

Camp Hawkins AU
Tumblr media
Pairing: Steve Harrington x plus sized reader
Warnings: Use of Y/N. This is my first time writing a plus size reader oneshot. As a plus sized person myself, I wanted to try it. I'm a little nervous tho. I know some people don't like it when ppl write insecure plus sized reader stories. I just feel like when I write, I put my emotions and my insecurities into the character as a way to work through them. I'm working on my confidence and some time I will write x confident!plus size reader oneshots, just not right now. Anyways, I hope you can understand that, and if you don't maybe try another story. Thank you.
P.S. I don't know how tf to flirt.
The story doesn't mention a lot about being plus sized but it is there.
Summary: It's your third year being a camp counselor at Camp Hawkins and your 7th year knowing Steve. Every year your crush seems to grow stronger and stronger.
*Not Proof Read*
ABC List Stranger Things Masterlist
*****
" Bunk 23. " Eddie, one of the head counselors grins while handing me a set of keys.
I groan. " The bunk with the bats? Eds, are you serious. "
Last year a bat nest was found in the corner of one of the old wooden beds. Nobody had checked the cabin before letting campers and counselors inside, resulting in a nasty surprise halfway through the first week.
Eddie shrugs. " Sorry, kid. I don't assign the bunks, I just tell people where to go. " Eddie's eyes shift over my shoulder. " Steve! There ya are, my boy. Long time no see. What's going on? "
I feel my annoyance begin to melt away as the sound of boots makes its way towards us. It's quickly replaced with a flutter type feeling in my stomach, a feeling that's been stuck with me for the past seven years.
I turn to look at the cause of my emotions.
Steve grins at the man behind me. A large leather duffle bag hangs off of his left shoulder. In his right hand, a small rolling suitcase, the same grayish color as his coat, squeaks along. The same two bags he's used since I met him. Steve pulls off his glasses, sending a dazzling smile towards Eddie and I. " Same old, same old, Ed. Hi, Y/N. "
His grin sends waves of happiness flooding through my body. I love the way he says my name.
I do my best to keep my composure. I return the smile, adding in a small wave as well. " Hey, Steve. "
" So what's this I hear about you and Nancy? A little birdy tells me you're back together again. " Eddie asks, leaning against the desk in front of him.
Nancy and Steve. The always on and off high school sweethearts.
I have no shot with Steve. I mean, he's obviously still head over heels for her if he keeps going back to her. I guess deep down I hope he'll finally see me as someone other than his chubby fellow camp counselor.
Picking up my heavy bags, I excuse myself from the conversation. " Hey, I'll catch you guys later. I'm gonna go check out the cabin, make sure no bats are hanging around. "
" Do you need help with your bags? They look a little heavy. " Steve offers, moving to set his stuff down on the ground.
He's so sweet. He always have been. No wonder I have a huge crush on him.
" No, " I shake my head. " I've got it. It's not to far. " I smile.
" But Bunk 23's on the other side of the-" Eddie begins.
I interrupt him. " I'm probably going to stop at the dining hall and see if Robin's there yet anyways. I'll be okay. " I reassure them.
" Oh, okay. " Steve nods, glancing down at the heaviest duffle bag I have.
I'm definitely regretting packing extra crafts. I just didn't want any of the kids to get bored during free time.
" Cya guys. " I shuffle towards the door. The floor creaks beneath me as I walk out onto the main cabins' porch.
Maybe some day I'll mean more to Steve Harrington.
_____
" He literally offered to help you. Why didn't you take him up on that? " Robin groans in frustration. Strands of hair that slipped out of her hat frame her flour splotched face. Bits of dough and other mysterious stains cover the front of her apron, making it look like a doughy murder scene.
She leans on the serving window counter, her arms cradling her head.
" He was just being nice. I mean, if I saw you carrying heavy bags of flour, I'd offer to help you. It's something everyone does- be nice to the people you know. It doesn't mean they like you. " I argue. I fidget with the lid of my water bottle.
" That's different. "
I narrow my eyes at the woman. " How is that different? "
Robin lets out an annoyed grunt. " You and me, " She points to the two of us. " have no chemistry. You and Steve on the other hand..." She waggles her eyebrows, sending a warm feeling climbing up my face.
I roll my eyes.
" Have a fuck ton of chemistry. Like sometimes I feel like it's choking me. " She makes a pretend choking sound. " Please! Y/N! Steve! Just make out already. Please, for the love of god! Save me! Save humanity from the horrors of watching you two interact while denying your feelings! "
I gently hit her forearm. " Shut up. That's not true, literally shut the fuck up. " I mutter.
Robin laughs. " It's so true. Ask literally anyone that hangs around you guys. Why do you think Nancy and Steve keep breaking up? "
That can't be true. Relationships have issues. There's no way in hell Steve and Nancy keep breaking up because he likes me. That's...insane.
" Your a catch, y/n. You need to start realizing that. People-they have crushes on you too. "
I turn my head to meet Robins gaze.
" You're not the only person in the world who doesn't have someone attracted to them. I mean, if fucking Mike Wheeler can have a girl crushing on him, so can you. "
It's just hard for me to believe someone like Steve, Ex Captain of the Hawkins basketball team, could like someone like me. I'm pretty sure he's only ever seen me as a friend. All these years, transitioning from campers to counselors, he's never made a move on me. In all fairness, I haven't exactly made a move on him either...in my defense, Steve and Nancy are on and off so much, a flickering light bulb has more predictability.
This is all so confusing.
-----
" Welcome campers! " A loud voice booms from on the old cement stage.
Slowly chatter from the excited campers begin to die down.
Jim Hopper, a retired sheriff and the new owner of Camp Hawkins, begins to speak again. " We're so excited to have you here. Each of you have been assigned a bunk and a counselor... " Jim's voice begins to fade from my mind. The same words have been repeated year after year, not that I mind. It's a familiar introductory speech, something I know will never change.
I look behind the older man. The gorgeous quarry shines from the sunlight. Post card worthy.
" You're bunk 23, right? " Steve's voice asks from next to me.
I was so lost in thought I hadn't noticed he took a seat next to me.
I send him a smile. " Yeah, The bat bunk. " I mumble.
Steve grins. " I'm bunk 24. "
" Oh nice, I guess we'll be seeing each other a lot then. Well, " Stupid, the kids do basically everything together. You're going to see him a ton anyways. " More than usual I guess. "
Steve chuckles slightly. A sound that sends waves tumbling through my insides. " I don't mind. You're good company. "
I feel a familiar warmth sprawl across my face. " You're not so bad yourself, Harrington. "
A look of amusement finds its' way onto Steve's face. " Hey, I know you're not a huge fan of bats...or other flying creatures, " He references my first year here as a camper.
I let out a groan at the embarrassing memory. " That was so long ago. The bird literally came out of nowhere. " I vividly remember that morning. It was still dark when Steve and our friends got the bright idea to go check out the quarry. A bird flew out of one of the nearby bushes, nearly smacking into my face.
Steve laughs, his milky brown eyes glinting from the sunlight. " Hey, birds can be terrifying. I'm not judging you. " He holds up his hands in a playful surrender. " I was just saying, if you want, I can come over to your bunk and check it out. Make sure no flying surprises are hidden anywhere. " He offers, leaning forward slightly in his seat.
My heart flutters. God, he's so sweet. " I don't want to inconvenience you, I mean, it's probably fine. I doubt the bats returned. "
" Really, I don't mind. It's not an inconvenience, if anything, I'm doing this for my bunk. I mean, I don't really feel like waking up to a bunch of people screaming at 3 in the morning. "
My eyebrow raises. " Oh? So you're doing this for you then...for your interests. "
Steve tilts his head slightly. " I guess you could say that. "
The campers around us begin to gather up their bags, making their way towards Eddie and Jonathan who have lists of where everyone's supposed to go.
Steve stands up, extending a hand towards me. " So what do you say, Y/N. Do you want Pest Control Steve to come take a look at your bunk? "
I cringe at his stupid name, causing him to laugh.
" Only if you never call yourself that again. " I accept his hand, standing up from the cement row.
Steve's hand firmly holds onto mine for a few seconds longer after we've stood up.
From over his shoulder Robin catches my eye. Her eyes flicker between our hands and back to my eyes. She mouths a silent ' He fucking likes you ', which I ignore.
I release Steve's hand, shoving mine into my pocket.
For a moment, a flicker of confusion? Maybe disappointment flashes across Steve's features. He obviously ignores it, moving to fold his arms across his chest. " Deal. "
I smile at the man. " Deal. "
I look at him for a second longer before I'm quickly swept away by the campers in my bunk.
My mind analyzes our conversation over and over again, completely ignoring whatever Eleven is telling me while we walk back to our bunk.
He couldn't like me. Right?
_______
" I think you guys are clear. " Steve says, poking his head back out from under the last bunk. He glances up at the top of the bunk, making sure there's nothing hidden in the corners.
" Thank you so much, Pest Control Steve, what would I ever do without you? " I cringe slightly at my words, shaking my head. " You know what, never mind. I thought it would be funny but no. "
Steve laughs at my attempt at mockery. " You'd live in uncertainty. " He makes his way towards me, leaning against the open door frame.
Outside the kids are running around playing capture the flag, their yells echoing slightly around the bunk.
" Sure...I'd probably just get Eddie or Jim to look around. You know how much they love me. "
Steve slightly leans towards me. " They wouldn't check as well as I do. I do have a five star rating in customer service. " His voice is soft but teasing.
My eyes flicker down to his lips.
He's so close. Just a few inches away. If I wanted to, I could kiss him.
I do want to...
But I can't.
What if him and Nancy are still dating?
Fuck, I should've stuck around and waited to hear what he had to say about their relationship.
" Y/n! El got another bloody nose! " Dustin's voice suddenly shouts.
My head snaps towards the direction of the boy. His face goes from worried to grinning in a matter of seconds.
" Wait, " He looks between Steve and I.
Without waiting for him to finish, I snatch a roll of paper towels from the desk near the door. I hurry out of the bunk, leaving the two guys behind.
" Oh my god, Dustin... " Steve's voice groans.
" Were you guys about to..." Dustins' voice fades away as I make my ways towards a group of kids. I push past them, kneeling in front of El.
Perfect timing.
-----
The dining hall is bursting with noise. Kids sit together, eagerly talking about their first day back at camp.
I grab a plate and nervously head into the kitchen.
Food. My least favorite part of the day. I don't know if it's just the fear or people watching me eat or the possibility of someone making fun of me for eating too much. I should be used to it by now, I've eating around people for my entire life, but I'm not.
Every meal time still brings unnecessary anxiety.
Robin leans against one of the walls, a iced drink in her left hand. As she raises the glass to take a sip, droplets of condensation run down her arm. " About time you showed up. I basically had to threaten Eddie with a knife for him to back away from your portion of chicken tenders. He does not go down without a fight, I'll tell you that. " She chuckles.
" Thanks. " I begin putting some food onto my plate.
There's a moment of silence. " So. " Robin looks at me expectantly.
" So? " I ask, confused. I lean against the counter across from her. The counter hidden from the view of the dining hall.
Robin rolls her eyes. " Aren't you going to tell me about it? "
" What are you talking about, Robin? "
Robin lets out a sigh of annoyance. " Oh my god, Y/N. The kiss! "
Still lost, I set my food down. " What kiss? "
Finally, Robin blurts it out. " Dustin told me he saw you and Steve making out in your bunk. "
My eyes widen. " What? No. Robin, we weren't making out, that little..." I shake my head. " Steve and I were talking. Just talking. "
Robin raises an eyebrow. " Are you sure, Y/N, I'm your best friend. You can literally tell me anything-you literally have told me basically everything. "
" Robin, I swear. If anything were to happen, you'd be the first to know. Steve and I didn't do anything. "
" Doesn't mean something won't happen in the future though. " Robin smirks.
I roll my eyes. " He has a girlfriend, Robin. I'm not making a move on a taken guy. "
" They'll probably be on break by the end of the month. "
I pick up my plate again. " I don't know. Maybe I shouldn't get myself wrapped up into that. I mean, they'll probably eventually get back together. I don't want to be a rebound or something. "
Robin hops onto the counter, taking a seat in the empty space. " Steve's not like that. "
Yeah, he doesn't seem like the type of guy to do that. But, hey, maybe I don't know him as well as I think I do.
" So Dustin's going around telling everyone? " I say in discomfort. Even if we had kissed, I don't want everyone to know.
Robin shakes her head. Her hair is finally free from her hat. " Fuck no. I was the first person he saw and the first person he told. I told him I'd feed him to everyone for dinner if he says anything to anyone. " She lets out a small laugh. " Scared him shitless. "
I shake my head. " Of course you did, Rob. "
_____
The moon reflects off the quarry beautifully. Finally, there's bit of quiet. All of the campers are huddled together in the dining hall, playing random board games.
Their voices and music fade away as I walk closer to the water. I love being a counselor, but it definitely gets overwhelming at time. I look forward to going down to the Quarry every night, just for a little bit to clear my head.
As I get closer to the waters' edge, hear a twig snap. I snap towards my right side, the direction the sound came from.
A familiar jacket catches my eye.
Hanging over a nearby log, the sleeve of Steve's jacket shines in in the moonlight.
" Fuck, I'm sorry. " I blurt out as soon as I see the pair. On top of the jacket sits Steve. On his lap is Nancy, her arms wrapped around Steve's white t-shirt clad shirt. Nancy's legs are wrapped around his hips, pulling him into her embrace.
The pair pull apart, obviously surprised by my intrusion.
Nancy looks slightly embarrassed. " Oh I'm sorry. We didn't think anyone would be out here this late. " She apologizes, quickly getting off of her boyfriend.
I don't bother to look at Steve, knowing anything I see will send a pang of even more embarrassment and jealousy through my heart.
Don't be jealous.
Don't be jealous.
He doesn't like you. He never will. He's with fucking Nancy. It'd be wrong if he liked you.
Plus, Nancy is so sweet. How could I hurt her by dating Steve?
I turn around quickly, hurrying back down the path towards the dining hall.
Steve will never like someone like me.

Swimsuit Body
Tumblr media
My first fic for babygirl Stevie🥹🥰 hope y’all love it, it was a little hard but v cathartic for me to write. This idea has been bouncing in my head and I had to write it out🥺
Steve Harrington x Fem! Plus size reader
Warnings: No smut but spicy references, minors under 16 DNI, body dysmorphia/insecurity, angst to fluff
Tumblr media
You fiddled with the hem of your t-shirt as you stood in front of Steve’s bathroom mirror. You bit your lip, struck by guilt as you realized all your friends were probably wondering where you were, but you couldn’t get your feet to move.
Your sweet boyfriend couldn’t have been more excited to host a pool party to kick start the summer. You loved him so much and you wanted to be out there. Yet instead of longing by the pool, you were stuck, obsessing over your reflection.
“Hey baby,” your head snapped to see a smiling Steve leaning against the door frame.
You blushed and pulled at the shirt awkwardly, “what’re you doing up here Stevie? Everyone’s outside.”
He pushed off the wall and slid behind you, wrapping his arms around your middle and nuzzling his head into the crook of your neck, “not everyone,” he whispered in your ear.
You couldn’t stop the corners of your lips from pulling up into a smile. His patented ‘Steve Harrington charm’ always had that effect on you.
He pulled back to turn you in his arms until you were facing him, “come keep me company by the pool honey, I miss you.”
You bit your lip while shifting back and forth on your feet.
His eyebrows furrowed, “what’s wrong baby?” He looked you up and down, “where’s your swimsuit?”
You gestured to the shirt and cringed, “um, under here.”
Steve shot you a concerned look, “hey baby tell me what’s going on,” he rubbed your back soothingly, “why’ve you been up here the whole time?”
You pulled out of his arms, causing a frown to spread across his face, “it’s nothing,”
“Doesn’t seem like nothing,” Steve spoke softly, “talk to me honey, I wanna help.”
You sighed, your gaze falling to the ground, “I just…I don’t like how it looks on me.”
“How what looks?” Steve asked, confused.
“The suit,” you clarified, pulling the shirt over your head and cringing at the vision of yourself in a black bikini, “my body in the suit.”
His confused expression shifted into one of disbelief. “Baby no, you look amazing.”
You flinched away when he reached for you, “stop, please, you don’t mean it.”
Your heart clenched as he looked at you like a kicked puppy, “I do mean it baby, you’re so beautiful.”
“Steve, look at these,” your fingers traced the stretch marks scattered across your stomach, “I’m never gonna look like Nancy in a swimsuit, they don’t fit me like they fit her.”
He huffed as he gently took your hand and placed your palm against his chest, moving your fingers along his scars. “I don’t want you to look like Nancy,” he mumbled, “I want you to look like you.”
You bit your lip, “your scars are different.”
“Why?”
“They just are.”
He cocked an eyebrow.
You rolled your eyes, “you don’t get it.”
He moved to hold you against his chest, and this time you let him, “then explain it to me.”
Your eyes fluttered closed and you breathed out, thinking of a way to put it into words for him.
“It’s like I could look into the mirror and spend hours picking each part of myself apart,” you explained, “I feel so trapped in my own body, I wish I could just…take it all off you know?”
Steve frowned.
“I hate the way my thighs look, they’re way to big.”
He fell to his knees in front of you, his hands coming up to caresses the backs of your thighs, “you mean my favorite earmuffs?”
“Steve.”
“Sorry baby,” he smiled sheepishly, “when we get dinner with my parents, they’re so…cold, it’s hard to feel comfortable, even in my own home.”He looked up at you, “but then when I touch your thigh, or give it a little squeeze, I feel better because I know that you’re right there with me.”
You blushed, ripping your gaze from his, “I hate my stomach,” you squeezed it with disdain, “when I was a kid I use to which I could just carve it off.”
Steve frowned, still kneeling he pressed his face against your middle. “I love when we watch movies on my couch together, because you let me lay between your legs with my head on your stomach and you run your hands through my hair.” He smiled to himself at the memory, “nothing makes me happier, you’re so soft, and nice, and warm.”
His cheeks tinged pink, “plus I think it’d be a nice home for my baby one day.”
Your lips parted as you let out a soft gasp.
“If you want that too of course!” Steve clarified hastily.
You raised your hands to your cheeks, “I hate how chubby my face is,” you pulled the skin back with your palms before letting it fall back into place.
Steve stood, taking your hands in his and moving so that his face was centimeters from yours. “Your face is the first thing I picture when I wake up in the morning, and the last thing I think of when I fall asleep.”
You whimpered, after being showered in Steve’s praise, your resolve was beginning to wear thin.
Steve smiled as he cradled your cheek in his palm, “baby, you can wear whatever you want to the party, I want you to be comfortable,” the pad of his thumb swiped across your rosy cheek, “but your body is perfect.”
You sighed, “yes yes, my body is perfect to you-”
“No,” he cut you off.
It was your turn to look confused, “no?”
“No,” he repeated, “not just to me, your body is perfect. Period.”
Of course, Steve couldn’t fix years of self-doubt and passive aggressive comments from your mother, but damn did he make you feel beautiful.
You leaned forward and pressed your lips to his. He smiled into the kiss and wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you flush against his chest.
When you finally pulled back, a dopey smile stretched across his face, “gonna come down with me honey?”
You beamed, “yeah,” you decided, leaving the t-shirt discarded on his bathroom floor, “I am.”

can't stop thinking about steve harrington with his cute, innocent plus-size! gf who he will literally get on his hands and knees for <3
he'd do anything for your happiness, for your love. he'd be so soft and caring with you, letting you ease your way into this brand new thing called a 'relationship' with him. he knows you don't have much experience and would never want to impose on you or make you uncomfortable. he'd wait til the end of his days if it meant he could just have you by his side.
on the days when you are a little more insecure than usual about your weight or body, steve would hold you so tight, his arms wound around your waist with one hand splayed on the small of your back and the other tangling itself into your hair. he'd gently rock your body back and forth, muttering sweet words - sweet praises - on how pretty, how beautiful you look to him all the time.
he'd rave about how you were perfect to him, with your plush cheeks that always get red around him to your hands that fit perfectly against his to your blissful voice that makes him feel high and safe.
he would hesitate to comment on your body since he doesn't want to make you uncomfortable, but he couldn't help and let it slip about how he feels about it. about how he loves cuddling up close to you, loves feeling your plush body mold against his. about how he can feel every inch of your gorgeous, thick body - about how it's hard to keep his mind screwed on straight when all he wants to do is roam his large hands down your body, wanting to find all the spots that will make you whine and whimper at his expense. he wants to be able to make you feel things that you have never felt before - he wanted to be your first kiss, your first love, your first time.
you wanna know why he loves having his head on your lap, with your fingers in his hair, so much, but always hesitates to do so? because all he can think about is how in one single move, he could have your plump legs thrown over his shoulders, plush thighs squishing his head as he eats you out, making you see stars as he tries to help you chase your release. he wants to hear you beg for more, beg for him. he wants you to feel his desperation, the need he feels for you always. he wants you to want it just as badly as he wants it.
of course, it's all fantasy right now, but one day, when you are ready for him, he'd be there to catch you when you fell and he'll hold you tight, guiding you through it together. steve just wants his pretty girl to love herself the way that he loves you <3

Flufftober Day 16: Blushing
Steve Harrington x f!reader
Word Count: 1.0k
AN: Soft Steve is the best Steve. Thanks for reblogging! I'll see y'all tomorrow <3

Teasing Steve is your favorite pastime. When he got flustered his whole face turned red, and so did his neck, all the way up and around his chest. Which is why you and Robin had a little bet going. She wanted to see how red you could get Steve in one shift and you liked a challenge.
Steve was bending over a cart of tapes that needed to be reshelved and you saw your opportunity. Slowly as to not make a sound you sauntered over to your unsuspecting boyfriend and with no preamble gave his pert ass a smack.
“Hey, hot stuff.” Steve shot back up and whipped around to face you. You could already see the blush beginning to fill his cheeks.
“What was that for?” He asked, his voice noticeably higher than it normally is.
“I liked the view,” You winked at him and blew him a kiss, already beginning to walk away and think of more ways to get the blood to fill his skin.
You obviously didn’t want to make him really uncomfortable so besides the very forward start to this little game you were playing you chose to play it safe for the rest of the day.
Compliments always seemed to work, anytime you could throw a “pretty boy” in conversation he seemed to glitch out. Robin was getting a kick out of seeing Steve become a stuttering mess every time you brushed his hand with your own.
By halfway through your shift Steve was noticeably red, so much so that an elderly woman who was checking out a tape for her grandson asked if he was okay. You had had to bite your check to keep yourself from busting out laughing.
You also found that touching Steve was a surefire way to get his heart racing. More than once you would place your hand on his back when you walked behind him. And when the two of you had nothing else to do and were just sitting by the computers waiting for someone to come check out you began playing with the little baby hairs at the back of his neck.
Steve gave you a look but said nothing, he had caught on to whatever you were doing and wasn’t going to deny your affection, even if it was more teasing than he normally liked.
“You’re hair is so soft Stevie.” He just hummed. “Kind of makes me want to…” You moved your hand up from the back of his neck and fully into his hair. When you were sure it was far enough in. You grabbed a handful and pulled it. Using it to maneuver his face closer to yours. “... do that” You whispered before kissing him firmly and releasing your hold. As soon as the kidd was over you jumped up from the stool you were sitting on, blowing him a kiss and walking to the other side of the store. Not before sending him a wink though.
Steve was frozen for a solid five minutes before your voice woke him back up from the trace you had induced.
“Hey, Stevie?” You called from across the store “Can you come take a look at this?” He hastily pushed himself up from off the counter and made his way to where you were. Standing in the middle of the more adult section of the store. Family video didn’t rent anything that was too risque but there were certainly some more than steamy films in the store’s cataloges.
“Hey babe, do you think this looks kinda like me?” You offered him a tape that he’s honestly never seen before. But lo and behold the woman on the cover looks exactly like you. And she’s scantily clad. And holding a gun.
“I don’t see it.” was all he said before practically shoving the tape back into your hands and almost running away from the aisle and into the employee-only room in the back. A growing flush traveled up the back of his neck as he retreated.
He not-so-secretly loved when you teased him. He wasn’t ashamed to admit that he liked being flirted with just as much if not more than he liked flirting. Your small touches made his heart skip a beat and when the sugary compliments flowed from your lips he could feel himself melting.
But it had never been anything overtly sexual, until now. Now he couldn’t stop thinking of you dressed in next to nothing like the woman on the tape. But instead of a gun, you were holding his bat. He was 100% sure that he should not enjoy that image as much as he did, but what are you gonna do?
He couldn’t wait for your shift to end so he could take you home and return everything you’ve been giving him all day. But as he checked the clock he realized he still had three more hours with you. And there wasn’t a doubt in his mind that you’re game was not even close to being done.
He was right of course. After you saw his reaction to the tape Robin had shown you last week, with a cover model who looked suspiciously like you. There was no way you were going to stop now. It was just too much fun. There was one thing left in your arsenal. Something you had never really tried before but were sure was going to get a big reaction from him.
You watched him do his job for a while, perched on your stool, occasionally being forced to tear your eyes away from his form when a customer needed help. It always returned though. With just fifteen minutes left until close, Steve began to make his way back to the counter to grab the list of closing duties for that day and begin the process of closing down the store so the two of you could go home.
You figured it was now or never, your shift was almost over and if you wanted to really get him to flush before you left you’d have to pull the big guns out now.
“Hey, Stevie?”
“Yeah, Babe?”
“I love you.”
He got so red that his face matched the vest he was wearing.

almost lost you {s.h}
Tumblr media
Plot: You're Steve Harrington's best friend so of course you're going to follow him into the depths of the lake and into the Upside Down. He's pissed that you've risked your life for him but when he sees that you're injured, your relationship shifts.
Character: Steve Harrington x Plus Size Female Reader
Warnings; MDNI, 18+, SMUT, NSFW, blood, wounds, gore, sex, soft sex
Word count: 11.6k
this is my favourite thing i've ever written
Tumblr media
Of course you'd followed him down here, of course you weren't just going to leave your best friend to drown and/or be taken to the Upside Down and be killed. You were never a strong swimmer but you'd be damned if you weren't going to save that stupid boy. Reacting on blind adrenaline, you abandon your jacket in the boat, grab an oar and then you dive into the lake.
The water is freezing, prickling your skin like needles, but you barely register it. You have to get to him. It's a lot deeper than you expected and by the time you reach the red, glowing gate your lungs burn for sweet oxygen. Grimacing, your hand reaches out, pushing through the fleshy gate before you push your entire self through and all you can think in that moment is that you hope there's no more swimming involved.
Your back hits cold hard ground as you lay there gasping for air, thankfully no more water. You'd landed on concrete. It doesn't take long before you jump up, dripping wet and undeniably in the Upside Down, and start hitting everything in sight. They were like bats with big wings and long tails and they swarm you. You whack them with everything you have before they break away and then you see Steve a few metres away. He's being choked, strangled by one of the bat's tails, arms and legs flailing to find something to get it off of him. You spring into action, barrelling over to the bat and hitting with all of the strength you could muster. Bats swarm and attack you with teeth like razors slicing into your skin but you couldn't care about that now. You have to help Steve. With a final thwack! the bat that had been strangling him dropped down, releasing Steve's neck. It lay on the ground, twitching and making a faint screeching noise so you whack it a few more times making sure it's finally dead before dropping to Steve, "Are you okay?!"
"I told you not to follow me!" His voice is a croaky yell as he pants hard, "You shouldn't be in here! Not you!"
"You think I'm not going to follow you into the depths of hell? Oh, Harrington, we're too far into this friendship for that. I'd follow you to Mordor." He rolls his eyes at your Lord of the Rings reference, far too used to you and your nerdy comments.
"It's too dangerous-" he cuts himself off, realising that blood dribbles from various cuts on your arms, "You're bleeding."
"I'm fine," you tell him strongly and honestly you do feel fine. The adrenaline is coursing around your body and right now, you don't feel any of the wounds, "I'm fine. They're just scratches." He accepts this, leaning back to take deep breaths as the rest of your friends appear each more horrified than the last (Eddie's last to come and judging by his scream of 'what the fucking shit is this?!' you can tell he's pretty freaked), "Can you stand?"
He nods and with your outstretched hand, you help him up. Once he's up, he looks around, "You all came down?"
Eddie runs his hands through his wild curls, "Dude, they all came down and I didn't want to be the only one not here."
The five of you look around. It's terrifying down here. The whole place looks familiar but it just feels off; uncanny valley or whatever they call it. It looks like Hawkins but an evil version of it. The sky crackles above you, lightning and thunder casting an eerie red glow over the Upside Down town. You look to the ground and see that the tendrils, the long fleshy veins, are everywhere.
"Be careful where you step," Nancy says, "it's a hivemind so it's all connected. You step on it, it knows we're here." Everyone knows it's more so pointed at Robin who can never seem to keep her balance even when standing perfectly still.
Robin nods, "I can do that," she murmurs to herself as the five of you begin to walk in the direction of the Creel House. You don't know who she's trying to convince more; the four of you or herself.
There's an uneasy feeling in the pit of your stomach. Steve's shoulder brushes yours and you immediately feel the dread die down for a moment. You breathe in a deep breath and puff out your chest as you continue walking.
As the lot of you tread through the Upside Down, you begin to feel slightly hazy, just around the edges at first as though you've just woken up and you're trying to shake off the tired and then it wrapped you up all at once. One minute you're beside him and the next, you've dropped to the floor, eyes rolling. Steve yells out, alerting his friends, as he falls beside you, hands on your cheeks. He's shouting your name, shaking you when he realises that your jeans at the thigh are dark and wet... you're bleeding. He pulls back the fabric and sees a large bite wound. He'd known you'd gotten scratched but you'd told him it was fine, not sore and not deep. He mentally curses you.
"I can help," Nancy says quickly as she rips her shirt, pulling a thick part of fabric off, "Move out the way and I'll bandage her leg."
Steve shakes his head, "I have to do it." He can't lose you; he has to be the one who saves you. He has to be the one to do it. He keeps talking to you, asking if you can hear him but you're not waking up. Panic surges inside of him, heart beating quicker as he stares down at you. Why aren't you waking up?
His hands are clumsy and shaking as Nancy hands him the piece of fabric from her now ripped shirt. Four years into this and they'd still never thought to bring a first aid kit wherever they went. The ripped cloth of the t-shirt would have to do and once tied tight, it would at least apply pressure and hopefully stop the bleeding. Steve's eyes dart to your face, scanning your face to see if you're awake. He's talking to you the whole time, panicked and adrenaline fuelled sentences that he doesn't remember.
"You gotta open your eyes, (y/n). Show me those pretty eyes."
"You think I'm really worth all this fuss?"
"You just had to follow me in here, didn't you?"
"I need you to open your eyes and speak to me, (y/n). I need to know that you're okay. Please."
"Please don't leave me."
You can hear him but it's all fuzzy. It sounds like you're underwater, he sounds far away. It feels peaceful but you fight and you fight hard. It takes every bit of strength you have to open your eyelids which feel like they're weighted down, it's brief but it's good enough. He breathes a sigh of relief as he sees your eyes fluttering, you're alive but you're slipping in and out of consciousness, world feeling hazy as you lay on the ground.
"Hey," he says, voice loud enough to wake you up but quiet enough that the rest of the group wouldn't hear, "you gotta keep those pretty eyes open for me, (y/n)."
You blink up at him, wiggling your fingers as the sensations of your body flood back to you, the pain floods back hitting hard and making you groan out. Steve asks if you're okay and all you can respond with is, "M'awake."
"Keep it that way." He holds up the makeshift bandage, "This is gonna hurt."
You're all banged up, covered in cuts scrapes and bites but the bite on your leg is the worst. Between the two of you, you're able to peel back the ripped jeans on your thigh to expose the bleeding wound. Steve grimaces, "That good, huh?" He doesn't respond and instead pulls the fabric around your leg tightly. You wince, hissing out in pain but you let him continue as he tries his hardest to be gentle by wrapping it tightly around your thigh before tying it tight. The pain from your wound is forcing you to be awake and conscious, sending streams of curse words out of your mouth. It hurts and it hurts bad, it burns and stings with every movement. Your whole body wants to sleep but the wound pulsing under the bandage won't let you and you're thankful for it. One of his hands is on your arm, never wanting to part with you, and all he can do is watch as you breathe hard, teeth grit, as you manage to sit up.
"Motherfucker," you hiss, "that hurts worse than that time I catapulted off the wall up behind Benny's and landed on that rock."
Despite everything, he manages a small smile and a breath of laughter, "Your mom never forgave me for that one even though it was your idea." He glances down at your leg, looking at the bloodied cloth, "That should hopefully stop the bleeding."
Nancy glances into the sky and realises that the bats are coming back and there are hoards of them this time, "Uh, guys?" She asks, voice tense.
Steve looks over at her and then follows her gaze upwards. Fuck. You do it too and you know that there's no time. You have to move. All you want to do right now is curl into a ball in bed - in Steve's bed - like that one time when you drunk and you fell asleep wrapped up together cause that's just what friends do, right?
"I'm okay," you tell him nodding and just like Robin not long ago, you don't know who you're trying to convince more, "just... help me up will you?"
Steve's strong hands pull you up and immediately wrap you in a tight hug, "Don't ever do that to me again," he huffs breath tickling your neck, "I thought I was about to lose you."
"You can't get rid of me that easy, Harrington." You thought that joking would help the situation but no, if anything it made him worse. He's shaking; absolutely terrified from the ordeal of thinking he'd lost you. He pulled back, heart hammering in his chest, as he stares down at his hands that are smeared with your blood. His eyes are glassy and he looks like he's about to cry. You take a breath, taking his hands in yours, "Hey," you whisper, forcing his attention away from his hands and to you instead, "I'm here, okay? I'm alright; bruised and bloodied but I'm alive, Steve, okay?"
"I can't lose you." It's an admission of some sort, not a full blown 'I love you' but it's pretty damn close. It makes your heart race and all you can do is hug him again, pulling him in tight. For a moment, just a moment, everything faded away around the two of you and you could close your eyes and pretend that everything's okay.
The moment's over all too soon when Nancy clears her throat from up ahead. You look over to her and she gives you an apologetic smile. It's time to go.
"Out of the frying pan," you say, taking Steve's hand tightly.
"And into the fire."
Walking isn't an easy task, you're slow and unsteady and with every step, you want to yell out in pain. Steve stays at your side, supporting you as much as he can, "I could carry you, you know... At the very least just a piggy back ride." You're holding everyone up and there's not enough time to let you go at your own pace, you have to move quicker but each time you try, the pain burns stronger.
Quickly, you shake your head, "Over my dead body."
"Yeah, well it might have to be if you're walking this damn slow," he snaps half serious, "Seriously, (y/n), let me lift you."
You push back from him. It's been years since someone picked you up, last time someone did they commented on how heavy you were and how you should think about losing some weight. You were humiliated that day so never again. You had a complicated relationship with your body, in some things you really liked the way your body filled out clothes, in other aspects you hated it. It wasn't a secret that you were fat, people had eyes and they could see it obviously, but it's like when your friend has a very obvious massive red spot on their face - you see it but you just don't speak about it. You don't voice things that could very well be an insecurity for some people.
"Steve, I- I'm too heavy." You feel pathetic as you say it and you can't look at him. You hate that you still have these worries and insecurities but after years of society telling you how you should look of course it had an impact on you.
Steve stops.
He ducks his head to look at you with sad eyes. He hates that you're ashamed of yourself in this way when in his eyes you're absolutely perfect. "Let me help you, (y/n), please," he says quietly so the others don't hear, "You won't hurt me, you're not too heavy, I'm strong and I can get us there faster... It'll help your leg, it'll let you rest it even for a while."
"You're not going to... to laugh at me for how heavy I am?"
Something bubbles up inside him in that moment and all he wants to do is wrap you up and keep you away from all the bad things in life. My god, he wants to kiss those insecurities away, make you realise that you're the prettiest goddamn girl in the world. No one comes close. He shakes his head, strands of his perfect hair falling out of place, and he takes one of your hands, "I'd never do that. You're not going to be heavy for me just let me help you."
If it had to be someone, you would've picked Steve so with a sigh, you relent and he crouches so that you can jump onto his back. You almost forget about the pain in your leg as the nerves burn hard in the pit of your stomach. He lifts you with a surprising amount of ease, jumping to readjust you so that his hand isn't anywhere near your injured leg, "Comfy?" He asks as he starts walking.
"If I'm too heavy you can just put me down, it's okay. I'll walk faster, you don't have to-"
"(y/n)," he cuts over your rambling, "I've got you, don't worry. Just take a breath and chill out for a bit." He begins to walk and catches up with the group on their path to the Creel House. Nancy and Robin glance at you both before catching the other's eye and giving the other a knowing smile.
You bury your head in the crook of Steve's neck, breathing long and deep. Steve can't think straight. All he can focus on is the way your breath is hot against his cool skin and the way your lips gently graze his neck with every step. The feelings that he thought he'd buried down long ago burn violently under the surface. Dustin would be screaming 'I told you so' if he was here right now. For years Dustin had been trying to get Steve to realise the true nature of his feelings for you and finally, fucking finally, it was happening. He shakes his head, trying to ignore the pounding of his heart when your lips graze his skin, and instead he tries to focus on the task at hand.
Tumblr media
Everything's over, it's done... at least for now.
You manage to get back to Steve's house in one piece, the five of you traumatised and dirty. Steve's house was empty as usual, his parents both working out of state, so the five of you crowded in Steve's car, Steve driving and you in the passenger seat with his hand in yours. The five of you cram into Steve's car, bloodied and bruised and knackered but you're all alive. Steve drives through Hawkins but his focus is entirely on you. Since your injuries, he hadn't stopped touching you; holding your hand, arms wrapped around you... He had to keep touching you, had to keep reminding himself that you were okay. Every now and then, his thumb brushes over the bloodied skin of your hand. Dustin, Lucas and Max had radioed a while back to say that they got home okay, they'd nearly been caught by police but managed to escape so it was just a straight drive to Steve's. It felt strange being back in Hawkins. You hadn't been away for too long in the Upside Down but returning as though life was normal was a weird one. Things weren't normal; things were pretty fucking strange.
As the five of you enter Steve's house, Nancy darts off to the phone. She'll be trying to get a hold of Jonathan. Eddie asks if Steve's got any beer, Steve points him in the direction of the kitchen and Robin follows in search for food.
It's just you and Steve standing in the hallway.
"How's your leg?" He asks you.
"Fucking killer," you frown, looking down at the bloodied state of your jeans. You hadn't realised just how much you'd bled with being in the tinted red Upside Down since it was kind of hard to see but now it was a stark contrast against your light blue jeans even in the darkness of the night.
"You wanna go shower first?"
You nod quickly. The thought of a shower appeals to you, being able to wash off the dirt, grime and blood and getting to properly clean your wound, oh it sounds like bliss. The only thing that halts you - as you attempt to very slowly climb the stairs - is that Steve obviously won't be in there with you. For the entirety of the night, since jumping into the lake and heading into the Upside Down, Steve had been by your side, constantly touching you in some way, and now... you weren't ready for that to stop. Things had changed, things that you weren't sure you could keep a secret for much longer, and you weren't ready to be apart from him, not yet; not ever.
You glance back at him and he seems to know what you're thinking. He can tell by the panicked look in your eye and he quickly nods and says, "I'll be right outside the door, I promise."
He helps you as much as he can upstairs, holding you up while you hiss and curse in agony as pains shoot up your leg, and helps you into his bedroom. He raids his closet and finds an old jersey of his, it's big and baggy and it'll definitely fit you, before he grabs a pair of stretchy gym shorts from his closet, "Here," he says as he hands you it, "change into these and we'll wash your clothes. We'll get everyone's stuff washed actually."
You're quiet as you nod and pad slowly back to the bathroom, Steve behind you. He slides down the wall, sitting on the floor just to the left of the bathroom door, "I'll wait here, take as long as you need." You're hesitant to leave him but you know that there's no way around this so you thank him and close the door behind you. As soon as you're in the bathroom, you want to turn back and find comfort in his arms but you force yourself to move forwards towards the shower. You have no other choice but to shower, you need to get cleaned up and you'd already prolonged that for long enough.
Stripping off your clothes is harder than you thought it was going to be, they're stuck to you, stuck to your skin from dampness, sweat and blood. You manage to peel your t-shirt off before chucking it to the floor. You take a breath as your hands work gently to untie the makeshift bandage around your leg. You curse loudly and Steve's calling out after you, asking if you're alright.
"Fine," your voice is tense as you try and breathe the pain away, "just getting these stupid jeans off. Leg's agony."
"Once you're cleaned I'll get the first aid kit and patch you up, give you painkillers too." He wishes that he could do more, that it could've been him instead of you that got badly hurt but there's nothing he can do now. All he can do is try and help you be comfortable.
"Can you talk to me about something? I need a distraction so I can pull these jeans off."
Immediately, he straightens and starts talking to you about the time in sixth grade when William Denver got a pencil lodged in his ear after a dare gone wrong. It was the distraction you needed as you managed to pull your jeans down with some ease and some pain. You stay standing for a minute just listening to him talking, it's nice; he's nice. You like that he didn't even question it, he just produced a memory from random and started rambling about it. He never made you feel silly or like you were asking for too much, he just did whatever you needed him to.
"Steve?" You say after a minute .
"Yeah?"
"You can stop talking, I did it."
"How does the wound look?"
"Gonna be honest, Harrington, I'm not fucking looking at it." It was the truth. You don't want to look at the wound, not yet. You'll wait until it was clean to do that. If you look now, you'd freak out so instead, you climb into the shower and almost instantly, you feel a million times better.
As Steve sat outside, scraping blood from under his nails, he couldn't get something that Eddie had said to him out of his head.
"It was (y/n), dude. As soon as you were pulled under, she was off like a shot. I've never seen anyone move that fast. She didn't even think about it, just dove in straight after you... You've got a good one there, dude. Can tell she really loves you."
Was that true? Did you love him? The questions whirred around Steve's mind and it was all he could focus on, nothing else except you. Things had changed and it was obvious, even to the two of you.
The water is hot but not too hot that it hurts. You stand in the shower just letting the water rush over you for what feels like forever, you're just enjoying avoiding looking at the bottom of the bathtub. When you finally look, it shocks you that it's still red, that there's still so much blood and grime on your skin that it's still turning the running water red. It makes your stomach flip and makes your eyes fill with tears. You'd hoped that by the time you opened your eyes, the only reminder about what happened that night would be the bite on your leg but when you open your eyes, the reminder is still all over you. You're still caked with dirt and blood, sticking to each and every crevice of you. With outstretched hands, you steady yourself against the wall as the reality of the whole situation hits you. It hits you hard from Steve choking to you passing out to the piggy back to the events in the Creel house... it all hits you like a train and you can't hold back the sobs that wrack your body. All you want to do is curl up and cry and sleep and pretend everything was normal.
It's too much. It's all too much. Steve was used to this life but you weren't, he'd always kept you safe from this world and now here you were, standing in the shower covered in blood; your blood, your friends blood and strange creature's blood. Bile rose in your throat as you desperately try and calm down. Your whole body is shaking as reality hits you, the adrenaline from diving into the lake to save your best friend stayed in the Upside Down, it didn't come back. You don't feel brave anymore but instead weak and scared.
Steve hears you. He can hear the sobs that come from you though drowned out by the shower but he hears and it breaks his heart. He looks at his hands which have dried blood coating them; your blood. He knows the feeling that's crashing over you, he knows how intense and overwhelming those moments are so he does the only thing he can do. He begins to talk loudly so that you can hear him over the noise of the shower, he doesn't know what he's talking about, he's just talking. He needs to fill the space, needs you to concentrate on something other than the panic and dread that's nestled and made its home so very deep inside of you.
You frown as you try and control your crying to listen. He's rambling about the time in eighth grade when he decided to skateboard off of the top of his garage and he ended up with a broken ankle. Rambling about how freaked out he was seeing the blood and the bone and how calm you were, about how you calmed him down told him that he'd be okay. You were the one who calmed him down with jokes in the ambulance ride to hospital and when they told him he'd need surgery, it was you who made him feel better by saying he'd have such a cool scar. It was you who waited hours on him coming out even despite your mom not being happy since it was a school night. It was you who visited first. It was you who signed his cast first.
"You've always been the strong one, (y/n). Always been the one to help me out... Always been you."
You'd been so focused on listening that your body worked in autopilot, scrubbing your skin hard of all of the grime and blood and when he was finished, you realised that you were almost done too. You catch a glance or two at your thigh, the wound is angry and red and it's deep but it's not as bad as it once looked. You scrub your nails furiously, trying to get the blood that's jammed under them out, before turning the water off.
You can hear him talking to someone outside the door, it sounds like Robin. You dry yourself off, careful not to irritate your thigh too much, before pulling on his jersey and shorts. They fit and they fit baggy which surprises you. They must've been huge on Steve. You wipe the steamed up mirror to look at the blurry vision of you. You like it, you like wearing his clothes. They smell like him, a mixture of cologne, pine and vanilla. You love that smell.
It's not much longer before he's knocking on the door, "You alright?"
You don't reply and instead just open the door. He almost can't function as you stand there in his clothes. It's an old jersey and shorts but oh my god, you make them look incredible. Something within him stirs, something possessive and feral inside of him but it's forgotten about after a second when you ask him if he's alright, "You're just staring at me, you good?" You feel self-conscious under his gaze because he's never looked at you like that before, at least not that you've been aware of. You shift in his jersey, self-consciously tugging at the hem to pull it down so it wasn't clinging to your stomach.
"I, uh, yeah. I'm fine." He nods quickly, "Robin came up a couple minutes ago. Her and Nancy are gonna use the downstairs shower so pointed them in the direction of my mom's closet for clothes. Eddie's just showered and is wandering about in his boxers so just don't look." You manage a small smile, "She says that Nancy's making some food if you wanted to go down-" He sees the absolute look of terror in your eyes, "Or you can wait here for me coming out the shower?" You nod quickly, "Okay, that's fine. I'll try to not take too long." He smiles knowing that you don't want to be away from him, he doesn't want to be away from you either. He grabs himself a clean towel and something to change into before disappearing into the hot and steamy bathroom.
You awkwardly manage to slide down the wall without irritating your leg too much as you wait for him to finish. You try and shut your mind off, not wanting to be alone with your thoughts for any longer than necessary, so you distract yourself with any means necessary.
You think back to when you and Steve were twelve and had thrown a party for the two of you in your basement. You'd stolen your dad's old records as the two of you danced around, wired to the moon on sugar and candy. A song had come on, Life On Mars - David Bowie, and the two of you were in total amazement. It swiftly became 'your song' as Steve dubbed it. It wasn't romantic like most couples songs were but it was a song that the two of you would dance around the room and sing loudly in the car to. You began to hum it quietly to yourself trying to stay focused in the memory of that silly party the two of you threw.
He doesn't take too long but it's been long enough when it hits the fifteen minute mark. You feel on edge. You know that he's just on the other side of the door but you don't feel right knowing that he's not there beside you. Your hands fidget nervously with the hem of the jersey as you breathe in his scent from it to keep calm. You long abandoned humming David Bowie as after five minutes, you were driving yourself insane, and instead spent the last ten minutes with your eyes squeezed shut head pressed back against the wall as you try and calm the rising panic.
The door swings open a few minutes later and there he is, standing there freshly cleaned and washed with his sopping wet hair still looking perfect and a clean t-shirt and shorts on. You reach out for him to help you up and when he does, you throw your arms around him tightly. You need to feel him, need to know he's okay and he's safe. He seems to need this embrace as much as you do as he responds by tightly pulling you against him, bodies flush against the other, warm and damp. His hands grip onto the fabric of your material as he buries his head in the crook of your neck, "I almost lost you," he breathes out. His voice is thick and you can tell that he's close to tears. He can't get over how close he came to losing you. It put everything into perspective for him then, made him realise that life was too short to continue pretending that there wasn't obviously something between the two of you.
"I almost lost you," you murmur as tears build in your eyes, lips once again grazing over the skin of his neck, "I saw you go under and I just- I didn't even think I just jumped in after you." Steve closed his eyes briefly, so what Eddie had told him was true.
It almost doesn't feel real what happened tonight. The whole thing, even this standing in the safe arms of Steve Harrington, it feels like you could blink and be back in the Upside Down so you cling to him and he clings back just as hard. Neither of you cry but the fact that you both welled up over nearly losing the other proved the point regardless.
It's not until you hear someone padding upstairs that the two of you break apart, though his hand holds yours, it's Nancy. She's wearing pyjamas that belonged to Steve's mom, loose and baggy on her, "Food's ready," her voice is quiet and her smile is apologetic knowing that she's just walked into something that she shouldn't be seeing.
Steve nods before he gathers yours and his clothes and then he leads you slowly downstairs to go and eat. Steve tells you that you'll eat then he'll patch your leg up. The smell hits you when you walk into the kitchen; pizza, chicken nuggets and fries. Nancy had raided the freezer and put on a feast for everyone. You didn't think you were hungry until you got there and saw the food. Steve bundles together everyone's clothes and chucks them into the washing machine, pouring a healthy amount of detergent in before turning it on. It's only then as the five of you crowd round the table, chairs squeaking as you pull them in, that you feel the hunger. You all eat in silence the only noise that can be heard is chewing and the grumble of the washing machine. Usually you didn't like eating in front of people, you got worried about what they'd think about your portion size or made a comment but right now you didn't care. With Steve's hand on your knee, you couldn't care about anything else right now. It doesn't take long before the food's finished and you're all guzzling on the water bottles that Nancy had placed on the table.
It's then that you look around the table, looking at everyone. Everyone's clean, smelling of vanilla body wash and coconut shampoo, with clean clothes that are a little loose and baggy (aside from Eddie who only wears boxers but he's wrapped the throw from the couch around himself) but the angry red scrapes, scratches and cuts that litter everyone's limbs are hard to hide. Nancy's managed to shower, change, cook dinner and even managed to treat hers, Robin's and Eddie's scrapes and cuts in the time it took you and Steve to shower. Impressive.
Once the food's finished, everyone scatters. No one really talks aside from their 'thank you's to Nancy. Steve gathers the plates up and puts them in the sink. You wait. He'll wash them in the morning he decides before moving to the counter where Nancy had left the first aid box. He grabs it and wiggles it in his hand, "You ready?"
You nod, "Let's get it over with."
He kneels down in front of you as you sit in the chair, "Can I?" He asks as he nods to the shorts you're wearing. You nod. Robin walks into the kitchen and quickly backs away, the scene unfolding far too intimate for anyone else to see. She warns Nancy and Eddie to stay away. Steve hands are gentle as he rolls your shorts upwards to get to your mid thigh. It's then you both get a good look at your wound. It's angry and raw but it looks better. The bleeding stopped a while ago so that's a good sign. Still hurts like hell though.
He rummages through the first aid box, finding a wipe and a large plaster, "It's gonna hurt." He tells you as he tears open the antiseptic wipe. You nod quickly and with a tender hand, he cleans it. It stings and burns but you aren't focusing on the cut, you're looking at Steve. You're looking at the way his hair falls into his vision and he blows it away with an upwards puff of air. You're watching the way his brow furrows in concentration as he gnaws on his lower lip making sure to not cause any further harm to you.
He grabs stuff to dress it with, glancing up at you, doing a double take when he realises that you're staring at him, "I'm not hurting you am I?"
You shake your head, "No, you're fine."
He goes back to gently dressing your wound and before you know it, he's finished. You go to pull away but Steve reaches out, "You forgot the most crucial part of patching up a wound," he chides, that playful tone once again back where it belongs. You frown but before you can ask what he means, his head ducks low and his lips graze the skin above the dressing. It's so soft and gentle that you wouldn't have known he'd done it had you not been staring at him with wide eyes. Where he kisses feels hot but not from the wound rather from him. Your heart beats fast in your chest and your cheeks feel like they're on fire, "There." His breath tickles over your skin. He lingers for a few seconds, too long for a friend, before he pulls back and stands up leaving you sitting there absolutely stunned.
He smirks as he turns away from you, discarding the empty wrappers in the bin, he knows what he's doing to you. Hope burns strong inside him, hope that maybe this is it; this is his chance, your chance. When he turns around you tell him to sit down, "Mine are fine," he says with a shake of the head, "not as bad as yours."
"So?" You ask with a raised brow, "Sit."
He complies.
You grab some plasters that were at the bottom of the box which happen to be some yellow and red plasters with various wild animals on them. Steve laughs slightly, "Seriously?" He asks as you grab a wipe to clean him.
"It's the only plasters you've got, not my fault Harrington."
He rolls his eyes but humours you and lets you dab his cuts carefully before sticking down the plasters. You only plaster the ones that are deeper so he ends up with some on his arms and one on his left temple. He goes to stand up, "Wait," you tell him fighting off a smirk, "you forgot the most crucial part of patching up a wound." His eyes widen slightly and his Adam's apple bobs in his throat. Two can play at your game, Harrington. Slowly, you duck your head to press gentle kisses to the cuts on his arms, lips lingering just as his did. Steve swallows hard. It's taking everything to control himself right now and even then, he's barely controlling himself. He can't stop thinking about the way your lips feel, soft and warm on his skin, and he can't stop thinking about how they'd feel against his own.
Your heart is beating harder but you don't let it show as you lean in close to him. Steve's eyes are trained on you, never wavering, entirely focused on your next move. You press a gentle kiss to his temple, your hand rests on his knee for leverage. Steve swallows hard again and you secretly smile knowing that you're having some form of effect on him. He can smell you, smell the shampoo in your hair that he uses, he can smell his jersey on you and he loves that he can smell himself on you. Again, that primal urge rises in him but he pushes it away as you lean back and sit back down in your chair.
"Uh... thanks," he says as he clears his throat. You like seeing him like this, flustered and flushed, "How's it feel?" He asks referring to your wound.
"Better." Your cheeks feel hot as you replay the moment of him kissing your thigh over and over in your head. He stands up and takes your hand before slowly leading you out of the kitchen and into the living room. You like the way his hand feels in yours, warm and large.
Eddie's set up camp for the night there, laying on the couch under a blanket with a cushion shoved under his head. Robin's curled in the armchair almost half asleep but Steve taps her leg and tells her to go to the guest room, Nancy too who was coming downstairs carrying blankets. Without a word, the two girls nod and head upstairs.
You and Steve aren't far behind them, following them up after he locks the door. There's no question of where you're sleeping, not an utterance of a word about it, instead it's just quiet acceptance. He makes sure that Nancy and Robin are comfortable before leading you into his bedroom and quietly closing the door behind him.
Nerves bubble in your stomach. It's different. You've been in Steve's room hundreds of times over the years of being friends. You'd slept in this room plenty before too on duvets on the floor and once in his bed curled up with him after a drunken party. This time though... it feels different. It doesn't feel like sleeping over with a friend because well, he's not a friend anymore. You aren't sure how he feels about you but you know that this isn't how friends treat each other. You don't want to get your hopes up just in case but they're there, niggling under the surface of your skin.
It's only when you're in his room with the door closed, you're unsure what to do next. Steve's not shy and he knows exactly where you're going to be. He walks to his side of the bed and lifts the duvet to get in, "Well?" He asks, "Hurry up and get in here."
He doesn't need to tell you twice.
Your heart beats fast as you climb into bed beside him. The bed smells like him, it smells like home. Steve watches you the whole time, the words he wants to say are right there on the tip of his tongue, locked behind his teeth but he's not feeling brave anymore so he stays silent. There's a certain tension in the air that you both feel as you lie on your sides, facing each other. Your heart hammers in your chest as your mind whirs with the possibilities of what might be.
The moon seems to be right outside of Steve's open windows, shining in bright so that you can see him, he's a duller and darker version in this light but he's still Steve; your Steve. You look up at him from behind long lashes and you find his eyes boring into yours, roaming and searching, looking for an answer to the question that he hasn't asked. It seems to click then, to both of you, that this was something more than what is once was or maybe this is way it always had been but it was only now you were realising it. He shifts closer and you do too as his eyes switch from your lips to your eyes. The burning desire to kiss someone has never been this strong before.
All you can hear is the beat of your heart in your ears like a drum, faster and faster, as you inch closer to him. He finds one of your hands lost under the sheets and takes it, clasping your fingers together tightly. It's then when you look up and realise that you're almost pressed together. Steve swallows, Adam's apple bobbing in his throat, as his breath tickles over your face.
It happens.
You're not sure who moved in first, it was more like a joint effort to meet in the middle. Your eyes flutter shut as Steve closes the gap between your lips, pressing a soft kiss to your lips. It's a small kiss, gentle and it doesn't last long but in that moment, everything slots together and you feel like everything's right again. He's testing the waters with this kiss, keeps it short and sweet before he pulls back a few centimetres, eyes scanning your face for some kind of regret or negativity but he doesn't find it.
Your mind reels from the fact that you and Steve just kissed. Your stomach is a jumble of nerves overlapping each other and writhing deep in the pit of your stomach. That few seconds where you're just staring at each other, eyes searching for confirmation, seemed to solidify something for the two of you, a silent agreement, consent and before you knew it, it was a push and a pull of bodies. Your free hand tangles in his shirt, pulling him close as his pulls you in at the waist.
No other kiss has ever felt like this one. It's fast and hard, smashing of lips and clashing tongues. It's hungry and passionate, it's a 'finally' moment, a breath of fresh air, a breath of relief. You've never been kissed like this before; never been kissed with such intensity and passion behind it. He kisses you like it means something because to him, it does; it means everything.
With a swift kick, he shoves the sheets to the floor where they gather in a pile. He rolls you onto your back and shifts without breaking the kiss so that he's over you, hands on either side of your head as you kiss. His knee moves between your legs, parting them, and pushing upwards. You gasp, breaking the kiss, at the sudden friction between your legs.
He snaps back.
His eyes roam your face again as your brow furrows. He worries that he's gone too far, moved too fast, but you grab a handful of his cotton shirt and pull him back down to kiss you. There's a new found confidence within you, allowing you to grab him and kiss him which you wouldn't have done before, you kiss him hard and he seems to get the hint that you want this, that you want him.
You almost feel like you need to be pinched, like at any moment you're going to open your eyes and you'll be somewhere else; that this is all a dream. For years, you'd had a crush on him but you thought it would always just be a secret and never be reciprocated but here he is, kissing you as though his goddamn life depends on it. You. He's kissing you. If 14 year old you could see you now. Well maybe not the scenes that would unfold in the next few minutes but my god, it would be the biggest confidence boost knowing that you, despite your weight and despite your size, would have Steve Harrington fawning over you. It felt good to be wanted, it felt right.
Soon the kiss turns needy and desperate as heat pools between your legs. Your hips push downwards into his knee trying to feel the friction through the cotton shorts that you wear. Steve's lips pull away from yours, extracting an audible whine from you, as he moves to your cheek, your jaw, your neck, your shoulder. He kisses everywhere, peppering small kisses on the soft skin before finding the spot on your neck that makes your gasp and makes your back arch. His hands are on your sides, dancing the hem of the jersey you wear up, and it's then it kicks in. Your hand darts out to catch his, stopping it in its place.
He stops.
"Am I going too fast- dammit, shit, sorry, sweetheart. I-I got carried away-"
You shush his worries and cut off his rambling before you answer him softly, "Self-conscious." Your voice is a mere whisper and Steve's face immediately softens. You'd never really had anyone touch you like this, with so much care and love and it makes you so aware of all of your imperfections. The worry that sits in the back of your mind, too, is that you know Steve's dating history; tiny, petite and pretty girls... Not you. Not fat and curvy and lumpy. Steve's eyes bore into yours and he can see your worries, sitting so openly and plainly in front of him.
"Baby," he murmurs, hand trailing fire over your cheek as he caresses it, "I think you're perfect." You look in his eyes and you know that there's a decade of trust there, a decade of friendship and loyalty, a decade of love, "You don't have to hide from me." You're still not quite there so Steve continues, "Your body, your smile, your laugh; you are perfect to me, (y/n). Beautiful. Your weight and size doesn't make you any less so... I want you, (y/n). Why do you think I only gave you my clothes to wear? I only want you, no one else." You hadn't thought about why you were the only one wearing Steve's clothes. It hadn't really clicked to be honest. He'd sent Robin and Nancy to his mom's closet, Eddie chose to be half naked, and you were the only one wearing Steve's clothes. It was such an honest, sweet, possessive action that it made the heat burn between your legs.
He leans down and presses a gentle kiss to the side of your jaw, then another and another before he pulls back, "You want me to stop?"
You shake your head.
"Speak up, babygirl."
"Don't stop," you whisper, "I want you... Fuck, Steve, I need you." Hearing you say it makes his cock twitch in his shorts. It doesn't take much until he's rock hard, pressing against your thigh as he kisses you again, hot and heavy.
His hands resume sliding under your shirt, over the lumps and bumps and curves of your stomach and sides until they find your bare breast, heading straight for your hard nipple. His thumb grazes over it, extracting a soft moan from your parted lips. Steve moans into your neck at the sound of you, "God," he groans, "you even sound so fucking pretty."
Your whole body feels hot, feels like you're burning a fever but in the best way possible, "Take it off," you get a moment of bravery as you push him back and pull off of the jersey, throwing it across the room where it bundles in a pile at the wardrobe. You hoist your lower half up and rather ungracefully tear off your shorts and throw them over to where the jersey resides on the floor. Thankfully Steve was to preoccupied with taking his shirt off to see.
It was when he looked back down at you, ready to move in to kiss your breast, that he stopped.
"Holy fuck, baby."
He looks at you like you're the only thing of importance in the world. The way he stares at you, drinking in your body, your curves, your stretchmarks, it makes you shift and wriggle awkwardly. The way that he looks at you, you've never had anyone look at you like that before. His gaze is so awe-filled and you never want him to stop. He follows every line, every bump, every freckle, every blemish on your body until it leads back to your face and your eyes, "So goddamn pretty."
He bends his head, taking your nipple in his mouth tongue swirling around the sensitive bud, as his fingers press into your hips. The moans that he was pulling from you were like music to his ears, every moan and mewl making his cock twitch with anticipation. Every time you moan, he hums against your nipple. God he doesn't think he'll ever get tired of hearing you or making you feel good. Your back arches and his hand slips over your stomach, groping the curve of it. You shiver and squirm but not because you're uncomfortable. His touch sends tingles down your spine and all across your soft, sensitive skin.
"Steve," you whisper out, back arching as his fingers push apart your thick thighs, "I- I- need you."
Steve growls against your skin, "Never thought I'd hear you say that, baby," he says against your skin before taking your nipple back in his mouth, tongue swirling and circling around it as his fingers trail down your thick thighs to your aching hot sex.
You've never had anyone touch you like this, your hand brushes against his and he stills, raising his head to look at you, "I've never... you know..." You're a virgin. He already knows it, just like you know that he's not and he's not been for a long time.
Steve nods, "I'll be gentle, babygirl," he murmurs, pressing a kiss to the side of your mouth, "if it hurts or you want me to stop-"
"I'll tell you."
Steve grins, that half grin you love so much, before he attacks your neck again as his fingers continue their agonisingly slow dance down your thighs, "God," he moans into your neck as he hears the way your breath hitches in your throat, "you sound too fucking pretty. I want to hear you moan for me..." His fingers graze over your slick cunt and my god, you're soaked, "God, I want to do this right; I want to take my time with you but- I don't know how much longer I can go." His fingers part you and circle your sex until they brush over your clit.
Your eyes roll backwards as your back arches to a level you never knew possible and Steve grins at your reaction. He presses harder on your clit, pressing and circling lazy circles. Your body twists and convulses, overwhelmed by the new sensations that he's causing, your words are a jumble of moans and curse words crumbling beneath him and he's never witnessed anything so beautiful.
"J-Jesus, Steve-"
His hips involuntarily buck forwards, colliding with your thigh and his head falls as he groans, "Baby, you can't say my name like that," he hisses, "you'll make me- Jesus- I've never had that before- never had this. I'm so- so desperate for you and just hearing you, just seeing you like this is enough to make me- fuck." You love having that effect on him but he doesn't let you enjoy it for too long before a finger is pushing at your entrance. He searches your eyes and you nod as he coats it in your slick heat before slowly, his finger is being pushed inside of you.
You kiss him. Lips open and tongues swirling as he pushes inside of you, you moan against his mouth and he seems to understand what you want. He shifts and slowly pushes another finger into you and it isn't long until your hands are tugging at the sheets, his hair, nails digging into strong shoulders as you come undone beneath him. Your mind is a jumble of everything Steve. All those moments with Steve. The innocent laughter of kids, the secrets of teenagers, the awkwardness of young adults. The inside jokes, the teasing jibes, the playful roll of the eyes, the secret glances when you think he isn't look, his lovesick whenever you laugh.
Steve feels like he could finish right here, right now. Not even inside you and barely started. This moment had been in the works for years and now it was here, years of tension built up into a few lustful, passionate moments. He slips his fingers from you and immediately takes them in his mouth, tasting your natural tang on his tongue. He moans against them as he licks your wetness from them, "Fucking delicious, babygirl." He tugs his shorts down and looks down at you, "Shit, condom-"
"I'm on the pill, Steve," you pant, "we don't need it."
"Are you sure? We can stop-"
"Steve," you cut him off, leaning up on your elbows to give him a quick peck, "I'm sure."
He lines himself up and readies you for him to push into you. You gasp at his size and he gives you a few seconds to adjust before he checks if you're alright and want to continue. It's not sore, it's an unfamiliar sensation but it feels good. You nod to let Steve know you're ready to continue. His finger trails lazily down your thigh, avoiding your wounds, as he looks at you with teasing eyes.
"Words, please."
"More- God, more."
He complies, his pace slow and steady. It takes everything in his to not implode then and there in your slick warmth. It's all a bit of a blur, it feels like you're high or drunk, fuzzy around the edges and tingly. Steve's groaning into your neck, sounds that drive you crazy because my god how does he sound so fucking pretty too? Your legs are tight around him as he kisses you hard, pace quickening with every thrust. It doesn't feel like anything you'd experienced before. It's deep and makes your body squirm and shake, it makes noises you didn't know you could make escape from your throat; it makes you go wild.
"You feel so-" he groans, "so fucking good, babygirl."
The way he speaks to you, voice dark and dripping with lust, could easily tip you over the edge once more but you hang on, wanting to stretch it out just a little longer. Your eyes meet Steve's. You'd always wondered that if you and Steve did ever get together, would it be awkward? Would it be uncomfortable at first? You had your answer. It wasn't awkward, it wasn't uncomfortable. It felt like how it should; it felt right. Like two pieces of a puzzle slotting together perfectly.
"Cum for me," Steve pants, peppering kisses all over your face, your neck, your shoulder. Your body involuntarily convulses, gasping at his words, "Cum for me, babygirl."
You couldn't stop yourself even if you tried. One second you're staring into Steve's eyes, the next you're tumbling into the blissful vortex of an orgasm, writhing and wriggling beneath him. The sensations overwhelm you; so much pleasure, so much build up and now you're unravelling at the seams for him; for Steve. Your eyes squeeze shut as your hands go between pulling at his hair to gripping his flesh with your nails, probably adding new cuts to his already bruised and battered body. The moans that come from you, jesus, he barely contains himself. The knowledge that he's the one making you feel this good, he's the one inside you, the one who's making you moan like that... he could explode inside you right now.
"Fucking hell, babygirl," he groans into your neck, "too fucking good, too fucking tight and pretty."
His thrusts slow as you come down from your high, allowing you some time to calm your racing heart and tingly limbs. Your breathing is erratic and you can't seem to form a single word or even a single thought but only Steve. Just Steve. Always Steve.
"I can't hold it, baby," he whispers, "you're too much; perfect but so- so fucking good." He means that you're too much in the highest of compliments. He could've came with just the sight of your naked body, hell just kissing you could've made him explode, the sound of you could've made it happen so the fact he's here, listening to you, touching you, kissing you, inside of you... it's so much; too much but he never wants it to stop. He wants it forever - wants you forever.
Slowly regaining some strength back, your hips rock into his. You're unsure of how to exactly do it but you know you're doing something right when he's cursing and gasping into your ear. The more he reacts, the more confidence you gain.
"Cum for me," you whisper in his ear just as he had done to you.
His moans make you shudder with excitement and it's not long before he's cursing and groaning loudly into your neck and the pillow you lay on, fist clenched around your hand. His thrusts grow quick and sloppy and you continue to talk him through it until he stills and shudders.
Pants fill the humid air as the two of you recover and fall down from your highs. It's a moment later when Steve slowly slides out of your warmth and slides off of you, falling onto the bed next to you. He doesn't give you any time to miss his touch because as soon as he's off of you, he's pulling you in at the waist and pressing soft kisses to your forehead.
You don't know what it is, the rushing tsunami of emotions, the reality hitting you or just the whole day's overwhelming nature but you feel vulnerable in those few moments afterwards and instinctively, your hands scrabble for the sheet, pulling it half over yourself.
"Hey," Steve murmurs, one eye open, "you never have to hide from me again."
You curl into him, "I know... It's just... weird getting used to it." It doesn't feel awkward or uncomfortable or even weird. The only weird thing about it is how normal it feels. You settle into Steve's arms as you feel a question bubbling up inside of you. "How... How was it?" It's a question that you're unsure you want the answer to because what if he hated it? What if it was just okay? It's too late now anyway, the deed has been done and the question has been asked.
Steve pulls a long breath out, "I seriously mean this, babygirl... the best, most intense, most mindblowingly awesome sex I've ever had in my life. No joke. Seriously like-"
You find yourself laughing, cheeks burning and heart racing at the compliments he continued to pour out, "Okay, okay, stop, I get it! I'm the best sex you've ever had in your life and you'll never find anyone like me ever again-"
"I don't want anyone ever again." His mood turns serious, a snap of the fingers and all laughter is gone, "I only want you, (y/n)... This isn't a one-time thing for me." You look up at him and you see that expression back once again, sad and scared, "I almost lost you, (y/n). I'm never letting you go again."
Your heart skips a beat, "So what does that mean for us?"
"it means that I-" the words are right there, locked behind teeth but he doesn't feel brave anymore, "I can't lose you."
"I can't lose you either." It's as good as an admission goes. You know how he feels just like he knows how you feel for him but the two of you have been too brave for today and neither has any intrepidness left in you so you leave it at that. You'll tell him the true nature of your feelings at some point but not right now, not yet. So for now, it's enough and it isn't long before the darkness wraps its arms around you and pulls you to sleep.
Steve settles with you wrapped up around him. He's warm, almost too warm, but he's not letting go of you. He can't. With a deep breath, he does his best to block today's events in the Upside Down out of his mind and focuses on the sound of your breathing to help lull him to sleep.
Tumblr media
The lot of you don't get up until well into the afternoon, bodies and minds equally as exhausted. Your body is sorer in the morning, achier and just plain tired, Steve thinks it's his fault and he keeps apologising profusely but kisses work wonders to soothe his worries.
"I'm just bruised and battered. Not from you, Steve. You can't ever hurt me."
When you and Steve finally emerge from downstairs, Nancy's on the phone to Jonathan, Robin's watching TV and Eddie's surprisingly making breakfast. He's quiet and his smile doesn't quite hit his eyes but he tries his best to lift spirits. When the two of you pass Robin, she gives you a warm smile - a knowing smile but not a teasing one. After the events of yesterday, there's no teasing, no jokes; it's a 'life is fucking short so get with the one you love immediately'.
Once more, you crowd around the breakfast table, a little livelier than last night but the bruises, cuts and dark circles under everyone's eyes tells a different story. Everyone's eyes have a darkness to them; a hollow emptiness after the trauma of last night. Eddie fills in the conversation where he can but even he isn't feeling up to it so the sound of silence is something that you've grown to be used to. Steve's hand doesn't leave your hand all morning, he still doesn't want to be away from you.
After breakfast, the five of you glance around at each other and there's a question that you all think but don't say. Steve finds himself answering, "You can all stay as long as you need. My parents won't be home for a week and-"
There's a group sigh of relief.
"Maybe just one more night," Nancy says, "until we can get a proper good night's sleep." She's always been so strong, so fearless but the fact that there's a slight tremor of fear in her voice is oddly comforting to you.
"Thank god because I wasn't going anywhere." Robin says as she finishes the last of her apple juice.
"Me either," Eddie says, "maybe we could extend the invite to Henderson and the rest of the little buddies."
As the rest of the group break off, with Eddie going to call Dustin and Nancy and Robin cleaning up, you and Steve move outside to sit by the pool. Steve's arm is tight around your shoulders, pulling you into his embrace, "I love you." He's not feeling very brave today but he says it anyway. Life's too short, he learned that last night. So even despite his worries and fears, he had to tell you. Why not?
You press a kiss to his neck, smiling. See? Like two puzzle pieces slotting together. His confession makes you feel brave and makes you feel like you could tell him. Last night was a night of firsts; first time into the Upside Down, first time getting wounded, first time having sex so what's wrong with another first? First time telling someone that you love them; first time telling Steve. The boy who you thought was so far out of your league. Years ago you'd accepted your fate of just being friends but now? Now you were here, in his arms, so why the fuck would you let your fears stop you from taking the leap of faith?
"I love you, too." He presses a kiss to your forehead, smiling.
The two of you stay there, curled up together and smiling, until Dustin and crew get there and until Dustin yells at the top of his lungs, "I fucking knew it! Fifty bucks Harrington!"

Never Ending Proposals

Steve Harrington x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 2267 words
Warnings: none
Summary: Steve really wants to marry the reader, and will NOT give it up but at a certain point, he has to face reality.
—————————————————————————————————
“Steve…no”
“No”
“No Harrington”
“God, what is wrong with you? We are not getting engaged”
With the way you just kept repeating yourself, you were sure that someone was going to have you committed but it wasn’t entirely your fault.
He just wouldn’t drop it.
No matter what you tried to tell him, Steve refused to accept that you weren’t ready to be his wife yet.
You got it, you really did. You had heard his fantasy over and over again, about all the kids and the camper van and all that.
It sounded nice… after you had secure careers and could actually afford a camper full of Harrington's. Until then, you were just going to keep saying no, and it didn’t matter how sweet Steve was, or how much he genuinely meant each proposal.
As far as you were concerned, Steve Harrington was still a child, and so were you. Neither of you had any business getting married or starting a family yet.
Just last week, you’d lost Dustin in the mall, and you were confident he was easier to handle than an infant. At least, you hoped he was, considering how much trouble he caused the two of you all by himself.
How were you supposed to juggle everything you already did on top of marital responsibilities? You couldn’t.
There was no way to feasibly make it work.
Not that your partner saw that as clearly as you did, as evidenced by the fact you were once again talking about it, this time driving down the road.
“I just think it would be nice, y’know?” Steve hummed, getting that dreamy look in his eye again, even though you’d already shot this particular fantasy down once this week.
You smiled in spite of yourself, enjoying the fact that he’d clearly given the more romantic parts of his plan some decent thought. In every way except the practical, he knew exactly how it would go down if you agreed.
Unfortunately, you had your focus placed firmly in reality, where there was no ring on your finger and you liked it that way-for the time being, at least.
“It would be nice, but we aren’t ready” you reminded, resting back fully against your chair, turning your head to meet his gaze before he returned his to the road.
That wasn’t he wanted to hear.
Part of you felt bad for shooting him down so readily. You understood the sentiment, and it would be a lie to say that his insistence on being with you was romantic but it was also crazy.
If you went through with it now, it would be like playing house. It wouldn’t actually be something you could sustain all on your own, and that was just the marriage part. You were even less ready to be parents.
You didn’t even have reliable parents of your own. You wouldn’t know how to be them.
“Why not? We always make it through, together,” he kept going, muscle memory almost entirely driving him now, as he ran his left hand through his hair, only partially focusing on the road.
From where he was sitting, it made perfect sense.
Sure, getting married young like you were was a little unorthodox, but it wasn’t entirely uncommon, especially in a small town like Hawkins. Besides, if anyone had any hope of making it work, he was sure it was you.
The two of you, getting through things together and making it work, no matter what. That was who you were and who you’d always been, for one another.
Marriage was just a formality.
A way to make it permanent, forever.
“We could definitely handle marriage” Steve shrugged decidedly, taking your silence as as much of an answer as he was going to get for now.
He knew you weren’t ready, but it didn’t bother him. You were worth waiting for and if waiting was what you wanted to do, you would do it.
…but he wasn’t going to stop proposing.
Steve made up his mind. He wanted to marry you more than he’d wanted anything in a long time and he wasn’t about to let you forget it.
Not that you could even dream of something like that.
You were painfully aware of the situation at hand, sometimes to the point that the pressure nearly crushed you. After all, Steve had dated a lot of girls before you, and of all of them, you were the one he chose to propose to and not just once.
He had proposed to you more times than you could keep track of, though the most memorable ones had certainly carved out a place in your mind.
The first time, for example, you and Steve had gone to the park and halfway through your walk, he’d made up his mind, and dropped to his knee right there.
Then there were the most elaborate schemes of all; like the time he’d sent a single slip of paper to your house every day for a month, all with the same proposal penned into the paper in blue ink, or when he’d hidden his grandmother’s diamond in a soda can.
Each and every one was crafted with so much effort and care, and he’d put so much time into every individual moment and detail.
It was a beautiful testament to how much he cared for you, and part of you wanted to say yes.
…but you couldn’t.
Wouldn’t. Not until you knew the time was right.
“We could. But first, we have to handle the video store” you reminded, pressing a soft kiss to Steve’s cheek before ducking out of the car entirely, leaving the man you loved to once again ponder over another failed conversation.
“I can handle the video store” he muttered, content to enjoy another day by your side, even if it was just as your boyfriend.
~
“Hey Steve” you called, rounding the corner to the horror section where he was restocking inventory, finally making up your mind, once and for all.
As endearing as he was, and as genuine as his feelings were for you, something had to change.
The pressure of all this marriage and babies stuff was going to drive you crazy, and you couldn’t feel like he was just constantly waiting for you to say yes, like you were keeping him from the one thing he really wanted.
Like being his girlfriend wasn’t enough anymore.
As soon as he heard your voice, the man stopped dead in his tracks, glancing at you over his shoulder, a huge grin on his handsome face.
“There’s my favorite girl. How were the romantic comedies?” he hummed, referring to the section you’d been assigned for the night.
Right now, it was just the two of you on the floor, given the fact Robin had drawn the short straw and was currently locked in the back room. Normally, that would mean a fair amount of sneaky kisses and misquoted movies, but not tonight.
Tonight, you couldn’t stop thinking about the talk you’d had on your way in and you needed some closure, before you drove yourself crazy.
“They’re fine. I was just thinking and I wanted to run something by you” you tried, watching as Steve immediately put down the box he’d been working on and turned his fullest attention to you, as if there was nothing else in the world.
Which, to be fair, there may has well been, in Steve’s mind.
“Sure, what’s up?”
His words hung in the air for only a moment before you finally blurted out what you’d been thinking about all day, without any of the tact you’d been hoping for.
“I need you to stop proposing to me” You started, slightly panicking now that it was all out in the open. Almost instantly, you felt that weight on your chest, no doubt punishment for crushing whatever happy family dream your boyfriend had for the two of you.
Understandably, there was silence between you for a moment as Steve tried to process what you were telling him.
Thankfully, you stepped in again before he could let his brain run wild with this new information. You wanted to make sure that he understood that you weren’t telling him no forever, or ending things, all you wanted to do was wait a little bit longer.
After all, you had ever intention of marrying him, as soon as you reasonably could.
“I love you, more than anything, and one day, you will be the most amazing husband. I just want to wait a little while longer” you cooed, speaking as quickly as you possibly could.
More silence.
By this point, you were sure that you’d upset him, maybe more than you ever had in the course of your relationship.
There was no way to know for sure considering Steve, the most expressive person you’d ever known, wasn’t actually saying or doing anything.
Until, of course, he did.
All at once, the man you loved was standing in front of you, holding your hands gingerly in his own as if you may actually slip through them if he wasn’t careful.
“What is it? Are you worried about your parents? Or my parents? Is it money? Because I can take more shifts. I’m just saying, I could definitely support you, we can figure it out” Steve assured, squeezing your hands, his face so close to your own that you could see the slight flecks of green in his eyes.
Which, of course, nearly melted you.
While you knew it was a bad idea, it was moments like this that made you want to marry him that much more.
He was so amazing.
You knew that there was nothing Steve wouldn’t do for the people he loved, and somehow you’d found yourself in the middle of that…you were lucky to be in love with him, you knew that.
All you were asking was to be with him, in this moment, instead of constantly yearning for a future that you weren’t prepared for yet.
“It’s none of that. I just can’t handle the pressure of it. I don’t want to feel like I’m letting you down” you sighed, deflating at his earnestness.
You loved him so much, and you just needed that to be enough for now.
Steve nearly scoffed at that before forcing it down. Clearly, even though it made no sense to him, that was how you were feeling and he had no right to take away from that.
“You could never let me down,”
Say what you may about Steve Harrington, but he was nothing if not determined to be happy and nothing brought him more happiness than his girl. You were his everything, and if he had to give up every other one of his vices to make you his, then he would just have to learn to live without the rest of it.
It was unbelievable to him that you were actually his girlfriend, and even a smile from you could brighten his whole day and send away the rain.
No matter what you two went through together, you had always been by his side, and the truest love he’d ever had.
The least he could do was try to return that favor for you.
That being said, this morning when he brought it up, he knew that you weren’t going to be happy with him but he didn’t really care. He wanted you to be his wife, and would do whatever it would take to get to that point.
Which wasn’t fair.
At some point, he should have considered the position he was putting you in, and since he hadn’t, Steve was grateful you’d brought it up.
The last thing he wanted to do was make you uncomfortable, or make anything harder for you. That was quite literally the reason he wanted to marry you in the first place, so that he could make sure you were always content.
“I love you, that’s what this whole thing is about. So, if you aren’t ready, we’ll wait” he decided, a flood of relief washing over you in an instant.
That was all you needed to hear.
That he wasn’t angry with you, and that he was okay with putting off any greater life planning until you were actually prepared for them.
Steve wasn’t thrilled about it, of course, but he knew what you were saying. In fact, this was one of the reasons he loved you so much. You were so much more realistic than he was, and if he didn’t have you, it was possible that he wouldn’t be able to function even half as well.
“I love you” he repeated, wrapping his arms around you fully now, in what had to be the most comforting hug you’d ever shared.
Not that you could be shocked, even now.
Everything that Steve ever did made him feel that much more irreplaceable to you and he really was. It warmed your heart to know that he was so serious about all of this, and that he really did love you as much as he claimed to.
“I love you! We’ll get there. I promise” you whispered back, giving him a strong squeeze before pulling away almost completely, though not far, considering the fact that you could still feel his breath fanning your face.
“Okay, then I have a promise for you,” Steve grinned, tapping his chin, almost as if deep in thought, before he finally made up his mind.
“I promise that the next time I propose will be the last time”

Tumblr media
“Ahoy ladies, didn’t see you there!”
You almost jump back, startled by the loud voice of the man behind the counter.
The girls in front of you exchange amused glances.
He continues. “Would you guys like to set sail on this ocean of my flavor with me? I’ll be your captain, I’m Steve Harrington.”
You feel second-hand embarrassment for the guy. Sure, he’s cute, but cute doesn’t make up for that ridiculous outfit he’s wearing or how awkward he is.
The girls walk away laughing and you step up to the counter. “Is Robin here?”
He nods and jerks his thumb to the back.
You can’t help but notice that he doesn’t try any of his cheesy lines on you.
Probably not his type, those girls were thin and gorgeous.
You duck into the backroom.
“Robin, who’s the hot dingus working up front?”
She snorts. “Steve Harrington, former king of Hawkins High.”
“Wow, how the mighty have fallen.”
The windows to the front pop open and Steve sticks his head in.
“I can hear you, you know.”
You and Robin laugh. “Oh, we know.”
“Thanks for calling me hot, by the way.” He offers you his hand.
“Hey, I just call it like I see it. If you look past the sailor suit and the general awkwardness surrounding you, you’re pretty good-looking.” You shake his hand. “Y/N.”
“Steve.”
“So I’ve heard.” You turn back to Robin. “We still hanging out after your shift?”
She nods. “Definitely. I need pizza and horror movies, stat.”
You glance over at Steve. “You can come too, dreamboat, if you don’t have a hot date or anything.”
Robin snorts.
Steve tries to look casual and fails miserably, propping on his elbow and almost hitting his head on the counter when it slips.
“Um, yeah, sure, I can move around my plans.”
“Don’t do us any favors.” Robin mumbles under her breath.
You wait until Steve is out of earshot to give her a scolding look. “Robin, be nice. I feel bad for him. He’s obviously lost his mojo.”
You gesture to her erase board. “That him striking out?”
She nods and giggles. “He’s flopped every time.”
You turn and watch him trying to flirt with yet another customer, dropping her change and almost spilling her sundae.
“What’s wrong with him?” You ask under your breath.
“His girlfriend dumped him and he’s having a breakdown.” Robin replies.
“That explains it.”
“I’ll meet you out front in a bit, okay?”
You nod and gesture toward Steve. “Don’t forget to bring dingus.”
__________
A few hours later you’re all sprawled in your living room, the Exorcist playing while you eat junk food and gossip. Robin is piled up on blankets and pillows on the floor, you’re laying on the couch, and Steve is sitting by your feet.
Robin starts to nod off halfway through the movie.
You take the opportunity to talk to Steve a little more.
You find out that you have similar taste in music and movies. To your surprise, the two of you talk for almost three hours straight, never running out of things to say.
“So, today was interesting, watching you crash and burn repeatedly. Like a train wreck, you just can’t look away.” You tease.
He scowls. “I’m a little off my game lately is all. I’ll make a comeback.”
“Not in that sailor outfit you won’t.” You giggle.
“It’s definitely not doing me any favors. Neither is the fact that I stink of loser.”
“Hmm?”
He sighs. “I didn’t get into college. My dad forced me to take this job. On top of that my girlfriend broke up with me for this dude I thought was a loser but turns out he’s actually okay, which makes me the jackass, I guess.”
“Sounds like it might.” You admit.
“Yeah, well, it’s been a tough year.” He rubs his face with both hands.
“You know what your problem is?” You ask.
“My life is a disaster?”
“Well yeah, but besides that. Your problem is that you actually believe what you’re saying. And you’re projecting it.”
He cocks his head to the side, looking confused. “Speak English.”
“You think you’re a loser, so you’re acting like a loser, and that’s all people can see.”
“Well how am I supposed to fix that?”
“Long-term? Therapy. Talk to you dad. Improve your thinking process.”
He grimaces. “Short-term?”
“Get laid. It’ll boost your confidence and you’ll feel better. People can tell when you haven’t had sex in awhile. It’s like a pheromone or something.”
He seems to be mulling over what you said.
You turn your attention back to the TV.
After a minute or so, you feel his hand on your leg.
You glance over at him.
“Do you wanna fuck me maybe?” He asks so casually, like he’s asking to borrow a pen.
“Oh, you’re funny. That sense of humor could work in your favor.”
“I’m being serious.”
You sit up to stare at him.
He shrugs. “I’m just saying. We could fuck.”
“I’m not really your type, Steve. Not sure how I would help your confidence. And I barely know you.”
He looks confused. “Not my type? Hot is my type. And who says we have to know each other to have sex?”
“My point still stands.”
“You don’t think you’re hot?”
“Not particularly.”
“Why not?”
You gesture to your body. “Not exactly the type of the girl you were flirting with at the mall.”
“I don’t have a specific type. I think lots of girls are hot.”
“Could have fooled me.”
He takes your hand and tugs you close, placing your fingers over his crotch.
“I’m hard as a rock just thinking about fucking you. You say I need to be more confident, right? Sounds like you need to take your own advice.”
You bite your lip and glance over at Robin, who’s snoring peacefully.
Am I really thinking about fucking him?
Steve squeezes your hand, making you grip his length. He moans slightly and flexes his hips. It’s so fucking sexy your breath catches.
Yeah, I’m gonna fuck him.
“Upstairs.” You take his hand and lead him to your room.
Steve wastes no time getting naked, clearly confident about his body. His lips crash into yours and he unbuttons your shirt, pushing it off your shoulders.
You both maneuver toward the bed and he reaches behind you, unhooking your bra with one hand effortlessly.
“Fuck, your tits look incredible.” He latches on to your nipple greedily.
You moan softly and tangle a hand in his hair.
He unbutton your pants and shoves them down, wasting no time sliding a hand into your panties and easing a finger inside you.
“You on birth control?”
“Mhm, pill.”
His lips fasten on the side of your neck. “Can I mark you?”
“Robin will see in the morning.”
“You embarrassed for people to know about this?”
“I just mean she might get upset that we snuck off to have sex.”
“Guess that’s a good point.” He looks disappointed.
Ugh, tugging on my damn heartstrings with that pouty face.
“Fuck it, mark me up.”
He grins happily and you giggle.
Your giggle turns into a low moan as he nips your skin and then starts sucking a red splotch.
“Mmm, feels good.”
He starts pumping his finger inside you. He twists his wrist slightly and uses his thumb to press on your clit.
“Ohhh, fuck.” You whimper.
“Wanna taste you.”
He starts kissing down your chest.
You pull his head back up. “No, it’s cool.”
“I want to.”
“Let me taste you instead.” You offer
You roll him on his back before he can protest. You don’t know how to explain that you don’t want him kissing down your belly because it’s not flat and has stretch marks. You don’t know how to say that you worry because you’re a bigger girl, you sweat down there more than other girls and he won’t like the way you taste.
He fists your hair as you take him into your mouth. “Fuck, Y/N, you look gorgeous with your lips around my cock.”
You lick up and down his shaft. Steve pushes your head down a little further.
“Suck on my balls, please.” His voice is almost a whimper.
You take one in your mouth and suck. His fingers tighten in your hair, pulling almost to the point of pain. You raise your head and take him back in your mouth.
Steve has to fight the urge not to hold you still and fuck your face. He’s never been so horny in his life. Your fucking curves, your thick thighs, how soft and pliant you are, it’s driving him fucking wild.
He pulls you off his dick and up the bed to give you a sloppy kiss, squeezing your thighs. “Wanna ride me?”
“Um, I don’t think so.”
He cock his head to the side and studies your face. “Do you want to stop?”
“No, I’m good to keep going. Did you want to stop?”
“Hell no. I’m about to bust.” He admits. He tugs your panties off and pulls you so that you’re straddling him.
“I don’t want to hurt you.” You murmur, a weak protest as you feel his cock rub against your pussy lips.
“Oh, you wanna be rough?”
This dingus.
“I mean, it’s not my usual style, but if you want to like spank me or something-”
“Jesus, Steve, I meant that I don’t want to crush you!” You squeak, blushing.
“Oh, my bad. I thought you were like, into something kinky. Wait, crush me?”
He grabs your waist and rolls his hips into you. “I can handle anything you wanna throw at me, babygirl.”
“I just meant-”
He rolls you on to your back.
“Enough. Let me tell you what’s gonna happen. I’m gonna eat your pussy like it’s my last meal on earth. And when I’m satisfied with my meal, you’re gonna ride my dick like a good girl.”
You feel yourself getting wetter from his words.
“Enough putting yourself down. When I offered to fuck you, I knew exactly what I was getting into. I want you, got it?”
You nod.
“Say yes if you want this.”
“Yes, yes, I want this.”
“Now, wrap those thighs around my head and let me eat.”
He dives between your legs and starts lapping at your cunt greedily. You gasp.
His hands slide under your legs, urging them over his shoulders.
“Fuck, baby, so wet. All this, for me?”
He mumbles between your thighs, his tongue flicking over your clit. He sucks it hard, making you buck your hips and groan. His mouth moves further down, and he shoves his tongue into your pussy, fucking your hole.
“Oh God, Steve, that’s so good. Fuck, so good!”
He rubs your clit with his fingers, his tongue swirling inside you.
Oh Jesus this man is a sex wizard. Those girls don’t know what they’re missing.
He takes his other hand and presses down on your lower belly. A jolt flashes through your body and you arch your back off the bed, fisting the sheets beneath you as you fight the urge to scream out in pleasure.
He uses the hand on your stomach to hold you still as you become a writhing panting mess beneath his skilled mouth.
You blink away tears as the most intense orgasm you’ve ever had racks your body, leaving you breathless and whimpering.
Steve is falling apart between your legs. Your little moans, the way you taste, how responsive you are, it’s enough to make him insane. He’s whimpering himself, and rubbing his cock against your mattress, desperate for any friction as his precum leaks out on your sheets.
He wants you to cum again. He wants to taste you a little longer. His face being buried in your cunt is his favorite place in the world now, he decides, and he wants to make the most of it while he’s here.
He sucks your clit again, sliding two fingers inside you easily.
You gasp and roll your hips. “Steve, oh fuck, you’re still going?”
He mumbles against your clit and it sends pleasure shooting through you. His fingers pump inside you expertly, knowing exactly how to bend and where to press to send you flying over the edge again. It’s more intense this time, and you have to clap your hand over your mouth to keep from yelling as you cum for the second time. It feels like an out-of-body experience.
You start to come down from you high and realize that Steve is still eating your pussy. You whimper from how sensitive your clit is and gently push his head away.
He looks up at you with lust-blown pupils, his lips and chin wet. He looks fucking feral.
There he is. He’s got it now.
He grabs your waist and flips you on top of him effortlessly, slapping your ass.
You barely have time to get your balance before he’s pushing himself inside you. You slap your hands on his chest and groan as he wastes no time bottoming out in you.
“Fucking ride me, baby. Ride my cock.” He hisses through clenched teeth. “Let me see those tits bounce.”
You start at a slow pace but Steve isn’t having it. He sits up slightly, locks an arm around you, and drives his hips up into you.
“Harder.” He grunts in your ear. “Make it hurt a little.”
You rake your nails down his back and clench your pussy muscles around him.
He sinks his teeth into your tit, groaning your name against your skin.
“Fuck, Steve, don’t stop.”
He looks up at you, pouty pink lips begging to be kissed. You press your lips to his, locking into a heated kiss that leaves you breathless.
“Need this.” He mumbles against your mouth. “Need you.”
You moan. Something shifts between you. You aren’t sure when or how it happens, but you’re suddenly kissing him softly, his thrusts slowing down, becoming lazy and gentle.
His lips mold against yours. “Mmm, baby, just like that. Riding me like such a good girl.”
“Such a good girl for you.” You whimper.
“Come on baby, cum for me.” He pleads. “Wanna see you fall apart for me.”
His hand slips between the two of you and he rubs your clit.
You feel your body start to tighten again. You clench around him, burying your face in his shoulder. He grasps your chin and pulls your face up.
“No, baby. Wanna see it. Wanna watch you cum.”
“Please….Steve…so close.” Your thighs burn from riding him. You wanna stop but you speed up instead, chasing that third orgasm. Steve speeds up too, falling back into the bed and digging his heels into the mattress to push deeper into you.
You can’t help it. You cry out loudly, almost screaming his name as you cum again. He pulls you down for a kiss to quieten you, capturing your cries with his mouth.
His hips stutter, and he slams into you once more with a hoarse cry of his own, shooting his load deep inside you.
He rolls and tucks you into his side, kissing you once more.
“I may never let you out of this bed.” He murmurs into your hair.
You giggle. “As much fun as that sounds, I think Robin would have an aneurysm if she woke up and found us like this.”
“Yeah, I guess I should probably go. Just tell her I left after the movie.”
You feel a twinge of disappointment but ignore it as you both get dressed and you walk him out.
This was just to help him get his mojo back. It was a one time thing. Don’t read into it, don’t dwell on it.
He kisses your cheek. “I’ll see you.”
“See ya.” You echo. He’s out the door. You curl up on the couch and fall asleep almost instantly.
__________
You’re back at the mall a few days later, feeling nervous as you head into Scoops. You hadn’t been able to stop thinking about Steve. You were a little worried about seeing him today.
He’s standing by the counter, talking to some gorgeous blonde girl who looks like she’s never eaten ice cream a day in her life. You glance around for Robin. Assuming she’s in the back, you duck behind the counter.
Steve notices you out of the corner of his eye and stops mid-sentence.
“Y/N, hey!” He calls out, waving to you.
You wave back, plastering a friendly smile on your face.
He pats the blonde on the shoulder and hurries over to you.
“Haven’t seen you in a few days.”
“Mhm.”
“It is weird if I say I missed you?” He blushes.
You ignore his question and gesture to the girl. “Looks like you got your mojo back.”
“Yeah, all thanks to you. You’re the best.” He kisses your cheek.
No, I’m a fucking idiot.
Robin sticks her head out the window to the back. She takes one glance at your expression and instantly knows what’s going on. You hadn’t said anything, but she’d seen the hickeys on your neck and the stains on your sheets and instantly put two-and-two together.
“Well I won’t keep you from your blonde friend, will you let Robin know I’m waiting outside?”
He nods. “Do you want some ice cream before you go?”
You start to shake your head.
“Of course she does.” The blonde mutters.
Oh, what a bitch.
To your surprise, Steve levels a stare at her and cocks an eyebrow.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
She looks flustered. “I mean, who doesn’t want ice cream? It’s so good.”
You cross your arms and glare at her. “I’m sure that’s what you meant.”
She rolls her eyes and turns back to Steve, smiling coyly. “So did you want my number?”
Steve shakes his head. “I’ll pass, thanks.”
Her mouth drops open. “Really?”
He shrugs. “Yeah, really.”
She stalks off.
Steve turns back to you. “So, movie night tonight?”
“You didn’t have to do that, Steve. I wouldn’t have cared if you got her number.”
“Rude isn’t my type.”
“I’m rude.”
“I made an exception for you.” He winks.
You can’t help but giggle.
“So, tonight?” He asks hopefully.
“Movie night sounds great, actually. Robin, you in?”
She shakes her head. “No thanks, I have plans. But you two have fun.”
Steve turns out of Robin’s line of sight and wiggles his eyebrows at you. “Oh, we will.”

You Had A Bad Day ( You've Seen What You Like )
Summary: Reader has a bad day, and goes to her best friends to make it better.
Steddie x pluz size fem!reader, friends to lovers, inexperienced reader, touch starved reader, no use of Y/N (we don't do that in this house), but definite use of pet names, these boys are ridiculous, use of "girl" and feminine pronouns, not an over abundance but they are there! Mentions of slight anger issues, volume control issues, and self esteem issues, all on the readers part.
This is literally only the second x reader fic I've ever written please be gentle!
Enjoy!!! I hope you're all having good days, but just in case, have this! *smooches you*
~°~°~
Your day had been... shit. That's what it had been. Just shit. And nothing new had really happened. Just the same old shit at work, always having to clean up everyone's mess before you could start your own work for the day. Just an endless cycle, day after day.
You clock out, head home, take a shower, throw on your pajamas, and head to see your boys.
They weren't... your boys.. technically. You all were just friends. Steve and Eddie were each others boys, and you were their friend, their best friend, their third wheel who some would say was maybe a little too close to both of them. But you loved them, both. And they both loved you. You were their girl.
And if in your heart of hearts you wanted more, well, no one needed to know that besides you.
Your stomach turned at the thought of them finding out. That you loved them both. A lot more than friends. Afraid they'd judge you, even though you knew, in the logical part of your brain, that they wouldn't. Ever.
You park your car next to Eddie's van and stomp up the steps of the trailer, ignoring the squeak they let out as you pass over them. The doors unlocked so you walk in, like always. Sighing deeply as the door shuts behind you, already feeling calmer. They both look from the tv to you, their heads moving in synch.
"Can I use your bedroom?" You grumble, shrugging out of your jacket and kicking your shoes off to join theirs in a pile on the floor. Eddie's face brightens as Steve frowns.
"Course you can!" Eddie makes to stand. And you know he's gonna come and hug you, and you want it, but you wanna lay in bed more. So you head straight to his room and fall on his bed with a grunt. Your face shoved into his pillow as you move around a bit, trying to get comfy. You settle on your side with a huff, and feel eyes on you.
Steve and Eddie are standing in the doorway, arms crossed, bothing giving you sympathetic looks.
"Bad day?" Steve asks, already moving toward you, he crouches by the bed, rests his hand on your shoulder. You nod, face still scrunched in a frown, you feel like you've been frowning all day.
"Did you eat yet?" He asks, his fingers moving gently through your hair. You shake your head, and Steve gives you a nod, pushes himself to his feet.
"I'll be back." He ruffles your hair and is gone again. And you... you don't know how he does it.
Because usually when people mention food around you, you immediately feel self-conscious, years of your mothers comments running through your head, but they way Steve asks, always, is full of concern, like he wants to make sure you're eating, not telling you you should be eating less.
"Need some love babe?" Eddie's voice cuts through your thoughts and you look at him, thinking, if he only knew. But you nod, once, still frowning. He claps his hands together once and rubs them together.
"Can do. Cuddles imminent. In three... two... one." His voice robotic as he walked toward you and then threw hismelf onto the bed, you rolled towards him, tried to hold yourself back but he grabbed you, curled himself around you, giving you a squeeze.
"Nuh uh. You're not gettin away I just landed!" He shouted, wiggling as he shook you in his arms. You determinedly keep the frown on your face, eyebrows knitted together as he lets you go, so you can turn and face him. He sees your frown and pouts at you dramatically.
"Wanna talk about it?" He ask, booping your nose gently with his finger, you scrunch your face but don't smile.
"Nothing to say really. Same shit." You sigh  shake your head. He nods, snuggles closer, moving to put his arm under your head so he can get in your space better. You sigh, fingers picking at the sheets between you.
"I just get so angry. And upset. And then I feel like an idiot because no one else is upset. Or cares? And I'm just there seething and full of rage." You huff, frowning at him. He smiles brightly, moves his hand up again and presses two fingers between your eyebrows, trying to sooth the frown, you bite your lip, fighting a smile.
"But that's just how we like you sweetheart. Seething and full of rage. I'm gonna write a song about you, call it that." He smiles again, his fingers dancing over your face gently before he moves again and takes your hand when you growl at him.
"But I get it. It sucks when your emotions are big like that. But the way I see it, and Steve too, it just means you care. And maybe you care too much, at your job at least, cuz that's never gonna fuckin change right?" He scoffs.
"If anything it just gets worse." You grumble. He nods.
"Exactly. But outside of work, when you're with us, or the kids, we like it. You're so emotive, and I mean shit, you and Dustin get together and it's like a full on shouting match, whether you guys are mad or not." He laughs, your cheeks flush. You have volume control issues, that's... definitely a thing, you groan and hide your face in his arm.
"Hey no! It's a good thing!" He laughs, cups your cheek to get your attention, and then you're staring at him, eyes wide, as he blinks at you, soft smile on his lips as his eyes flick to your mouth and then back, his tongue running along his lips he looks at you. You stare for a second longer and look away, rolling to lay on your back with a sigh.
"Yeah. I guess." You say, you wish you could see yourself the way Eddie does, or Steve, or all your friends. You feel Eddie press close again, his hand settles on your arm, warm and steady as he touches you.
"Want me to go set it on fire? So you don't have to go back for a few days?" Eddie asks, he's so close to you, whispering in your ear, and normally that would make you flush, or lose your train of thought, but his words make you laugh, loud and bright. It bursts out of you, and then you snort and grimace, but you're still chuckling when you look back at Eddie, he's still smiling. His head resting on his hand, he's up on his elbow now, looking down at you, his eyes so fucking fond.
"There she is! Welcome back sweetcheeks!" He says, poking your warm cheek and then pressing a kiss to it.
The air in the room changes, he pulls back, but not far, his breath warm on your face as he looks down at you, eyes hooded, his hand moves up your arm, your skin tingling under his touch, his hand warm through your shirt. Your breathing is shakey as his hand moves further, cups your cheek, his thumb moving over your skin slowly. Your breath catches in your throat when his eyes linger on your mouth. Your brow furrows, you're frowning again, this isn't... he can't be.
"Eddie?" You breathe, at the same time he says,
"Can I kiss you?"
You blink at him, sure he can't have just asked you that, he's with... with Steve. But he's looking at you, his hand still on your face, his thumb moving over your bottom lip now as your heart pounds.
"You- what? What about Steve?" You stammer, licking your lips, your breath faltering again as Eddie tracks the movement.
"Hmm?" Eddie hums, his teeth digging into his lip as he stares at you, you know that look, he's only half paying attention, lost in a day dream. You gulp, he's lost in a daydream while staring at your mouth, his thumb pressed into your lip now, softly, but the pressure is intoxicating.
"St- Steve. What about Steve?" You repeat, weakly. Eddie blinks, looking at your eyes again.
"Oh. Yeah. You can kiss him too." His voice is floaty, like he's still not completely paying attention to your concerns, your heart pounds harder at his words.
"What?" You grab his wrist, tug his hand away from your face and he blinks quickly, coming back to himself.
"What?" He asks, trying to look innocent.
"I can kiss him too?" You repeat his words, pointedly, squeezing his wrist tightly. He nods, once, and fucking shrugs again.
"Yeah. See?" He turns to look toward the door.
"Hey Steve! She can kiss you too, right?" He calls, both of you looking at the ceiling as you hear something fall in the kitchen, you glance at Eddie, he closes his eyes, holds up his finger, nods.
"Uuhh..." Steve's voice floats down the hall, you can hear footsteps,
"Yeaaah." Steve's voice again, closer now. He steps into the doorway, face amused as he looks at you and Eddie. Eddie still towering over you, more so now, he's propped up on his hand, his other hand still in your grasp, resting on your stomach as you gape at them. Steve leans against the door frame, smiling now as he gives Eddie a look.
"You jumped the gun on that a bit, don't you think?" Steve asks, cocking his head to the side. Eddie groans next to you, drops his head back.
"Maybe! The forth of July is so far awaayyy." He whines, looking at Steve with big eyes. Steve laughs, shakes his head. Your heart pounds in your ears as you look between them both, you're... so confused. Steve points between the two of you,
"Pause this conversation. I'm gonna go turn the oven off." He says, sounding so much like a mom. And though you're so fucking confused, pretty sure you might actually be dreaming, because what's happening can't be real, you and Eddie both freeze, like always when Steve tells you to pause. You glance at each other, both of your mouths are open, like you'd frozen in the middle of speaking.
You both start grinning, trying not to laugh.
"You can move idiots!" Steve calls from the kitchen. You and Eddie both break at the same time, laughing and falling into each other. You notice you're still holding his hand against your stomach and let him go quickly, looking away.
"Sorry." You mumble, but he doesn't move his hand, drums his fingers against your stomach until you look down, looking at his hand resting there, your cheeks flushing, not wanting him to touch your stomach. Not that he can't see it. But him touching is different. You push his hand away, move it to the bed next to you. He tilts his head, but keeps his hand where you put it. He opens his mouth, brow furrowed, like he wants to say something, but Steve walks back in with a clap of his hands, settling them on his hips as he looks at you both.
"Okay! Let's talk." He says, sounding... chipper. You and Eddie share a look and then snort at him.
"Wow." You say, an over impressed tone in your voice.
"Steve what the hell? How is that romantic?" Eddie asks, shaking his head, dropping it into his hands. You finally sit up, groaning as you almost tumble to the side, Eddie catches you and holds you steady before letting you go again.
"Romantic? You yelled down the hall to me Munson!" Steve huffs, his thumb pointing over his shoudler. Eddie makes a face, then shrugs. You laugh, they're so stupid.
"He was doing okay before that." You mumble, fingers clenching in the sheets, then letting go.
"Oh yeah?" Steve asks, his voice dropping, making your head feel fuzzy as he looks at you. He looks... hungry. He walks toward the bed and sits next you, you try to make room for him and find yourself pressed against Eddie, who doesn't move.
You look over your shoulder at him, find him smiling sweetly at you.
"Hi." He says, his teeth digging into his lip again as he rests his hand on your shoulder, fingers pressing into your soft skin through your shirt. You're about to say hello back when you feel a hand on your knee, Steve.
You look back to him, your head spinning as you realize you're trapped between them. Though you know trapped is a strong word, they'd never make you do anything you didn't want to, and you know they'd let you up if you wanted.
"You wanna kiss me?" You blurt, looking at Steve like he's lost his mind. He laughs, squeezes your knee, leans forward, his eyes dropping to your lips.
"Yeah. We do." He emphasizes the 'we' as Eddie drops his chin on your shoulder, plastering himself against your back, his arms snake around you, hands hovering in front of your stomach before he rests them on your thighs. The touch makes you jump, but most touches do, you're not used to being touched, not used to people wanting to touch you.
"But I- I mean really? Me?" You ask, your hands shaking.
"Yes. You." Eddie breathes into your shoulder, moving to press his lips against your shirt. Your heart flutters. Steve moves his thumb slowly over your knee.
"But I- wait what was that about the fourth of july?" You ask, getting side tracked, but they both chuckle.
"We had a plan." Steve says.
"Steve had a plan. I thought we should just ask you during movie night." Eddie noses into your neck, making you whimper, he moves his hands up then, pressing his palms to your stomach and then wrapping his arms around you. You shift a little, clearly uncomfortable.
"I'm not letting go this time." Eddie whispers, then stills.
"Unless you really want me too." He says, his arms start to let you go and you grab them, haulting their retreat.
"No! I- I mean no, it's... it's nice." You look into your lap but feel him smile into your neck as he nuzzles closer.
"Anyway. My plan was to ask you at the carnival. But someone, couldn't wait I guess." He huffs, rolling his eyes at Eddie. You snort, patting his arm.
"I have no regrets." He says, sounding absolutely sincere.
"Well, maybe one." He whispers, one hand moving up your side, settling over your cheek, turning your head to look at him.
"What? What one?" You ask, shivering when you feel Steve press closer, his chest pressing against your side as Eddie looks into your eyes.
"I shoulda just kissed you earlier. Yelling at Steve ruined the mood." He sighs, licking his lips.
"Wow rude." Steve breathes into your shoulder, pressing a kiss there as Eddie moves his thumb over your lip again.
"She was so concerned about you babe. Didn't want me hurting you. Isn't that right?" He's staring at your mouth again, you're pretty sure your lungs have given up at this point, you feel lightheaded and overwhelmed and you never want it to stop.
"Aww. Really? That's so sweet of you babygirl. To be so concerned for me. But it wouldn't hurt me. I want this too. Want you too." Steve drags his nose across the skin of your neck, pressing a kiss behind your ear, your body feels like it's on fire, pressed between Steve and Eddie, both of them... wanting you. Eddie's thumb presses into your lip, harder this time, drawing your attention, you swallow thickly.
"Is this really happening?" You breathe, hands shaking where they're holding Eddie's arm around your middle, your fingers clutching him tight. He nods, still staring at you, you feel Steve nod, then feel his hand move up your arm to rest on your neck, his thumb soothing the skin under your ear.
"It's real." Eddie breathes, moving closer.
"We want you. Is that okay sweetheart? You wanna be with us?" He asks, his breath warm as it hits your face.
"We see the way you look us. We're not stupid. Or blind." Steve says, his lips brushing your skin again.
"I don't think your st- I mean I wasn't- I'm sorry." You're not sure what to focus on. But the thought of them noticing you looking at them that way makes your stomach flip, though your current situation certainly suggests they didn't mind it too much.
"You don't have to be sorry honey." Eddie whispers, smiling at you, his thumb dragging your lip down before he releases it. You whine in your throat, looking at him with wide eyes, your heart pounding in your chest.
"We liked it. We like you. Obviously." Steve says, chuckling into your neck, pulling you closer to him, away from Eddie, but Eddie follows, leans after you, still cupping your cheek. You shiver again, so much attention on you, their attention on you, making you warm all over.
"W- I like you too. Obviously." You echo Steve's phrasing, rolling your eyes, exasperated, feeling a little out of control. Eddie laughs, deep in his throat.
"I'm gonna kiss you now." He whispers, licking his lips again, eyes on your mouth.
"And I'm gonna kiss you next." Steve whispers, making you laugh, light and airy, a little manic sounding, as Eddie closes the distance, presses his lips to yours.
You sigh into it, whining again when Eddie's tongue runs across your bottom lip, at the same time Steve presses his lips against your throat. Steve opens his mouth, licks at your skin, making you gasp. Eddie takes advantage of your suprise, tilts your head just so and slips his tongue in your mouth, running it over your teeth as you moan, exploring.
Eddie pulls back, rests his head against yours, letting you catch your breath. A task nearly impossible with Steve mouthing at your throat, his hand on the other side of it tugging you closer, his other hand has moved around your waist, his fingers digging into your soft stomach, like he needs you closer.
"Eddie." You breath, he smiles, kisses you again, soft and sweet. And then he's gone, his mouth moving down you cheek to your neck, Steve's hand moving up your neck to turn your head towards him. You're panting as you look at him, your body thrumming with a heat and energy you've never felt so intensely before.
"Hi there." He says, a smirk on his lips as he looks at you.
"Hi." You sigh, already closing your eyes as he leans in. His lips are warm, and wet from the attention he'd been showing your neck. You whimper again, overly conscious of the fact that maybe you're doing it too much. But you can't really help it, the boys you've been in love with for years were both kissing you, and pulling you close. Both of their hands tugging at you, but it didn't feel like they were fighting over you, just, holding you, and needing you, in tandem.
"Steve." You breath it into his mouth, he smiles into yours, his hands moving to hold your face, pulling you closer, so he can kiss you deeper.
"He's got you princess. Don't worry. We won't let you fall apart." Eddie whispers, licking a long path up your neck and making you squirm, your hands tangled in the front of Steve's sweater as he pulls back, dips back in, kisses your bottom lip, sucks it between his, and then brushes his nose up yours. He rests his head against yours, his hands settling on your neck. Both of you panting into the space between you.
Eddie kisses back down your neck and then rests his chin on your shoulder again. His hand reaches out, grabbing at Steve.
Steve smiles, his lashes fluttering as he leans forward, kisses Eddie deeply as he hums against your back. You watch them kiss, until they part and look at you. You look away quickly, cheeks flushing impossibly deeper.
"Hey. It's okay." Steve's fingers under your chin bring your gaze back up to them.
"You're with us now. You can watch us whenever you want. Okay?" He says it so easy. You nod, feeling hot all over.
"C'mere." Eddie says, tugging you down onto the bed, melding himself against your back, nose pressed into your hairline as he nuzzles into your neck. Steve settles down in front of you, tangling your legs and resting his hand on your side. You squirm at the touch, somehow still feeling uncomfortable, after all that. Steve frowns, presses closer.
"You're ours now. We're gonna touch you. But only if you want us too. Is this okay?" He moves his thumb against the fold in your side, you squeeze your eyes shut.
"It is. Or I- I want it to be. It might take some getting used to." You open your eyes, squinting at Steve, and finding him smiling soflty.
"We can help you get used to it." He whispers, kisses the tip of your nose. Eddie snuggles closer, his arm wrapping around your side, hand settling on your stomach again.
"Be more than happy to. Looking forward to it, actually." Eddie whispers into your hair, presses kisses down the back of your neck until he's snuggled against you again. You chuckle, eyes on Steve, he smiles fondly.
"He gets clingy." Steve says, like it's a secret.
"Shut up Steve. I've been waiting to get in on this for fucking ever man. Let me have this." Eddie hisses over your shoulder.
"Yeah Steve. Let him have this." You huff, but there's a laugh bubbling in your throat. Steve scrunches his nose, snorts, and then curls closer, pressing close to your chest, resting his head on your shoulder.
Your hand twitches, you want to reach out, to touch him, but you're not sure. Steve notices, because of course he does. He takes your hand, presses a kiss to your palm.
"You can touch me. I want you to." Steve nods, lets his fingers slip away from yours and you move your hand over his shoulder, and then up into his hair, moving your fingertips over his scalp until he's humming happily, his eyes falling closed.
"Feeling better?" Eddie asks, kissing at your shoulder now. You nod, cover Eddie's hand on your stomach with your own.
"Yeah. One hundred percent. Best fucking day ever." You breathe, squeezing Eddie's hand as he laughs against your skin.
You lay there, warm, and comfortable, as they hold you. Steve falling asleep with your fingers in his hair, Eddie mouthing lazily at your shoulder. You close your eyes, trying to memorize the feeling of them around you, in case you open your eyes, or wake up, and it's all a dream.
But you know in your heart it's not, a dream that is, it's real, they're here, with you. Because they want to be, they want to be with you. You lay between them, cozy and calm, and happy.
Turns out they were your boys all along.

Tumblr media
It’s been a long day at the family video store for both Robin and Steve. People have been coming in non stop and needing help, it’s only been a few hours since opening.
Steve had to open so he’s been there the longest and he could feel his stomach growling as soon as he started the day despite eating breakfast.
You could imagine their relief when the last couple of people walked out the door and it was peace and quiet. They both sighed to themselves and leaned on what ever was near them.
“Whens lunch?” Steve asked desperately for their small break. Robin looked at the clock and back at him slightly happy.
“About five minutes” She smiled as Steve let out a small cheer but his head quickly started to turn.
“And she’s not here” Steve’s head started think about his girlfriend, his every sweet girlfriend. She usually dropped of homemade lunch for him always ten minutes early.
“What?” Robin questioned.
“She’s not here, like five minutes late.” Steve start to pace with panic. After everything that has happened in the passed he always worried about her.
“Do you think she’s hurt? Or have I done something to upset her” He put a hand through his hair. “I mean if she was running late she would call right?” He placed a hand on his hip and looked at Robin serious.
“She’s probably fine, Steve. She can take care of herself even if she was in trouble” That made Steve even more panicked then it should have.
“You think she’s in trouble?” Robin watched him go a little crazy on himself. “You remember the last time she was in trouble right? That monster thing had her and I-” Robin stopped listening to his rant and looked outside the window.
She saw a brown car pull up and park, she saw it every day so she knews who it was. “Steve” She tired to stop Steve’s rant but he didn’t give up.
“I can’t help worrying about her I mean I almost lost her before. She’s like the air i breath” No matter how hard Robin tried to turn his attention it didn’t work. But the sound of the bell and a voice from behind him did.
“Sorry I’m late, I took a nap and woke up late” Before the girl could question Steve’s state he hugged her tightly. She smiled and let him hug her, she couldn’t hug him back because her hands were full.
“Hello to you too” The H/c girl looked at Robin to question Steve’s actions but she only rolled her eyes. Y/n let out a giggle as steve stepped away.
“Thank god you’re okay, I thought the worst”
“I was like five minutes late” Y/n titled her head and Steve realized how panic he got but ever since he almost lost her at the starcourt mall, he’s never stopped.
“I can’t help worrying about you” Giving him a smile she kisses his cheek and walked to the counter sitting down two paper bags.
“Well I’m always going to be here so don’t worry. I can’t leave you without someone to make your lunch” She pushed one bag towards Robin.
“I brought you home made muffin” Robin grabbed it quickly and took out the muffin. Steve moved to his girlfriend and hugged her waist from behind and kissed her cheek.
“Call next time, I was really worried about my food” Y/n slapped his arm in a playful way and he only turned her around.
“I’m joking, you know I only think about you” He brings her closer one more time and presses his lips onto hers in a soft short kiss.
“And sandwiches”

Eddie Munson is an ass man
Tumblr media
Masterlist
Eddie Munson is an ass man
Ok so I am convinced this guy is an ass man, not just in the sense he likes looking at it/grabbing it
Anal is eddies favourite kind of sex, if it’s not something you’re into its not a deal breaker but if you’re up for it he'll go as far with it as you let him
He enjoys eating your ass as much as fucking it, he loves having you sit on his face
You’d think his favourite position is doggy because of his love of all things ass but he actually doesn’t like to have sex in any position he cant see your face
He’s decided the best of both words is doggy in front of his mirror
If you're into or willing to try denial Eddie is happy to kind of ignore your pussy because your ass is just so hot
Part of the reason he enjoys anal is he can come in you without worrying and keep it there
Even when he fucks your pussy he finishes in your ass
Eddie likes making you cum though, he enjoys knowing you feel good so I can see him training you to cum from anal
Using a vibe and his fingers to get you off while he's inside you, so you associate him fucking your ass with intense orgasms
Specifically picking angles that still hit your g-spot
He likes to convince you to wear skirts without underwear whenever he can as well, gives him better access to your ass
And even if you’re wearing something with more coverage he is grabbing your ass any chance he gets
He initially convinces you to start wearing a plug in public as a trade off, he wont grab your ass in public whenever you have the plug in
That doesn’t hold up very long but by then you’re kind of used to the plug and enjoy wearing It for him
He goes out of his way to get you a black and red one, something cute to help convince you initially
He ends up with a reasonably big collection of plugs for you eventually, he matches them to your outfits
Eddie likes the idea of keeping you plugged so he can fuck you whenever he feels like it
His dick is thick enough that prepping you properly means you gape a little when the plug is taken out
Eddie uses the plug to his full advantage
Being a brat while you and Eddie are out?  his hand is reaching up your skirt to fuck you with the plug and remind you who you belong to
Someone on the basketball team flirts with you? Eddie gets possessive and has you cheer with his cum plugged in your ass the next day
Eddie’s a bit of a sadist as well, he likes to watch you panic and squirm a little
So occasionally when you’re out shopping at the mall he'll pull the plug out knowing that you're too gaped to stop the cum dripping down your legs
He likes watching the way you react when you feel it dripping out despite your best efforts
He’s nice enough to offer the plug back once it’s just becoming visible past the line of your skirt, he doesn’t want to embarrass his girl too much
He will make you earn the plug back though, generally he gives you a few options to pick between
eating the cum that's dripped onto your legs so that you’re nice and clean for the plug to go back in
Letting him fuck you in a secluded bathroom so you're nice and full again
Spanks so your ass is all pretty and red to match the gem on the plug
Eddie loves spanking with the plug in, watching you clench around it and moan
And it turns your ass suck pretty colours too, sometimes he'll leave hickeys as well so there's some really pretty bruises
He’s got a polaroid of it in his wallet
I feel like eventually he convinces you to get a little tattoo on your ass so there’s a more permanent mark
Little cursive lines that say something along the lines of eddies little anal whore
He teases you about it all the time once you have it especially if you’re bratty
Be bends your head back so you can see it in the mirror when you fuck
Sometimes if you've been a real brat I can see him upping the plug size to something barely reasonable
It stings a little but he doesn’t do anything about it unless you safe word
Because naughty girls need reminders that they are toys for his entertainment so if he wants to see you stretched out and whiny then that's what happens
If you’re really willing to let Eddie push your limits, I can see him inviting Steve to try double anal penetration
He’s thinner so its not a terrible stretch but he's a bit longer
They go a few rounds so by the time eddies putting the plug back in its barely containing the cum that wants to drip out of your abused little hole
You're so sensitive that you cum when he pushes it in

Rated 18+: fem!reader x steddie, eventual smut, an unfortunate usage of Y/N, gross humid Midwestern weather
Word Count: 2,113 words
May 24, 1990 was a grossly humid day. Illinois weather was always a bit spotty, but today especially was unforgiving. Y/N was in line outside of the Rosemont Horizon, waiting in line to see Madonna's Blond Ambition Tour. She had gotten there early, wanting to grab a good spot seeing as her ticket was for the standing room only section, but now that she was standing outside, alone, in the sun, she wished she would have prepared better. She maybe would've brought a book, definitely would have brought some water bottles. But alas, she was sandwiched between other hopeful concert-goers that were suffering the same fate as her.
She tried to subtly dab at the sweat accumulating around her hairline, accidentally making eye contact with the girl in front of her.
The girl raised her eyebrows at her. "Little bit warm today, huh?"
Y/N nodded and smiled, "Just a little bit yeah".
"Do you have any water or anything?" The girl asked.
She shook her head no.
"My girlfriend and I have a few extras if you'd like one?" The light haired girl started. "It's unopened, in case you were worried we did something to it. Not that you should be worried! I just know that some people would be worried -".
"Robin, it's okay," Robin's friend spoke up as she smiled sheepishly.
"It's okay, I appreciate the offer". Y/N took the bottle graciously and all but chugged it down. "I wasn't worried by the way. Not unless you're trying to weed out the competition for a good spot in the pit".
Robin and her partner laughed. "I'm Nancy, this is Robin, nice to meet you". The dark haired girl gestured between herself and Robin.
"I'm Y/N!"
The three of them got to talking, learning that Robin and Nancy had driven up from Hawkins, Indiana. The two were surprised to learn that she was in the process of moving to Hawkins.
"What made you want to move?" Nancy asked.
"I have a lot of family in the surrounding towns, and I'm planning on attending school out there. Hawkins lets me have a bit of independence while still being close to family".
The two girls nodded. "Do you have anyone moving with you?"
"No, unfortunately," She let out a small laugh. "No soulmate or anything yet". The two girls looked at her almost solemnly. "I'm assuming you two have met your soulmates already?"
The two grinned and linked hands. "Yeah," Robin spoke up. "We've been together for a few years now". Nancy cuddled up next to Robin and laid her head on Robin's shoulder.
"Well you're both adorable together".
"Thank you!" The two spoke in unison.
She turned slightly to take another gulp of water. It wasn't that her heart ached for a soulmate, it was that she had lost hope of meeting hers. Long ago had she accepted that black and gray scales would be her permanent point of view. High school, even middle school was filled with her peers' world blooming in color while she continued to see the dull shades around her.
They continued to make small talk until the line started moving.
"Hey in case we get separated, here's my phone number," Robin whipped out a sharpie and grabbed the girl's hand. "Call us when you get settled". And with that they parted ways, the couple heading towards the merch booth as she headed towards the barricade. When she got back to the hotel she quickly reached for the room's notepad and pen and scribbled the now smeared phone number.
Tumblr media
Weeks had passed since the concert. Y/N had officially made the move to Hawkins. The few things she owned were shoved into a rented pickup truck and moved from her shared apartment in Chicago to a one bedroom all to herself.
The apartment was cozy; filled with fuzzy blankets and candles and warm art work. She hoped the colors at least complimented each other, but truly she was just thrilled to finally have her own space to decorate and make hers.
Her days were filled with exploring and familiarizing herself with the town. She visited every corner of Hawkins; wandering grocery stores, noting where the different shops were, even seeking out the record shop and video store for her future leisure.
It wasn't until her classes started that she started to feel the loneliness creep in. She glanced at her phone book every once in a while, debating on whether she should reach out to the girls from the concert. Surely it wouldn't be weird, right? Robin had given Y/N her number for a reason. Then on the first Saturday of July, when she was two glasses of wine deep, she used her liquid courage to reach out to Robin.
Double checking that it wasn't terribly late, she quickly pushed Robin's number into the phone and nervously squished the receiver against her ear. She picked up after the first ring.
"Hello?" Robin's raspy voice shouted over loud background music.
"Hey, Robin? It's Y/N from the Madonna concert". She winced, it had been so long ago, what if she didn't remember her?
"Y/N! Hey!" Robin must've covered the phone with her hand because she could hear a faint Would you guys turn the music down?
"Sorry, my friends are animals. How are you, are you in Hawkins?"
"Yeah, I'm finally settled. I was hoping that maybe you and Nancy would want to hang out sometime soon? I haven't really gone out with anyone since I moved".
"Yeah, that would be awesome! Are you free tomorrow morning? Some of my friends and I were planning on getting breakfast if you'd like to join us".
"I'd love to, you're sure I'm not intruding?"
"No intrusion at all! I'm sure everyone would love to meet you," Her voice called out a little bit louder. Voices in the background rang out in agreement.
Y/N giggled and set her plans in stone.
When the morning came, her stomach was in knots. Her nerves were slowly getting the better of her. Arriving at the restaurant 30 minutes early, she sat in her car and tried to hype herself up. You've got this, she thought. Robin and Nancy were friendly enough at the concert. This is you getting out of your comfort zone. And if you hate it, you can always leave!
Y/N watched as the restaurant slowly filled up. When she saw Robin and Nancy walk up hand in hand following a young man with long dark hair into the restaurant, she counted to thirty and took a deep breath before getting out of her car and making her way inside.
She met the girls by the host's stand, the man nowhere to be found. The girls greeted her with smiles and small side hugs.
"Hey! How are you doing?" Nancy said.
"I'm doing well! How have you guys been?"
"We've been okay! We're just waiting for a table to clear up. Steve couldn't make it this morning, but Eddie is here so you'll meet a part of the group! He's just in the bathroom, I think".
Y/N nodded and quickly fell into conversation with the two girls. The three were talking about the upcoming Fleetwood Mac tour when Nancy looked past Y/N's head.
"Eddie! Nice of you to finally join us," She smirked.
Eddie grinned at Nancy, letting her shove him with her shoulder. "Had to sneak out for a quick smoke. What did I miss?"
Y/N looked at the young man, his long curly hair framing the soft features of his face. His large button eyes were so expressive and full of mischief. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but it felt like she knew him, he felt warm (which was crazy because she didn't know this boy from Adam). She was pulled from her staring by Robin's voice.
"So Eddie, this is Y/N. Y/N, Eddie".
Y/N snapped her eyes up and held out her hand, Eddie doing the same. When the two met eyes, Y/N took in a deep breath. The warmth she felt shot through their hands, sending small vibrations through her body. She held that breath as she looked at him, wisps of color blotting throughout her vision. Relief and joy and confusion flooded her system. She had met her soulmate! But why wasn't her vision completely flooding with color? Was he experiencing the same thing?
"Guys?" Robin's voice ripped them from their trance.
Eddie cleared his throat, "Sorry, um, nice to meet you".
She nodded in agreement, retracting her hand and looking at the ground. The tiles on the ground now boasted what could only be described as auras of color. Her vision still looked dull, but blobs of color distorted her normal palette of dark shades.
The four of them were then led to a round booth, Nancy and Robin scooting into the middle with Eddie and Y/N on each of their respective ends. They quickly fell into a comfortable conversation, Y/N looking and picking at her nails in favor of looking back at Eddie.
"So Y/N," Eddie's voice pulled her attention. "Nancy and Robin were telling us that you all met at the Madonna show".
"Yeah, um. It was ridiculously hot and Robin saved the day with a water bottle she swore wasn't poisoned".
Eddie laughed and leaned forward a little. "You've gotta be careful out there, you never know what Robin is trying to roofie you with".
"Oh fuck off, Munson," Robin laughed, throwing her straw wrapper at him.
Tumblr media
The four of them stood outside of the diner and gathered around Y/N's car.
"This was so fun, we should do this again soon!" Nancy said.
Everyone smiled and nodded in agreement.
"Hopefully next time our resident dingus can join us," Robin added.
Eddie rolled his eyes at the name calling. He quickly took his keys out of his pockets. "Here ladies, go and start the a/c, I'll be right behind you".
Robin snatched the keys from him, quickly giving Y/N a hug and dragging Nancy away.
Eddie shoved his hands in his pockets and looked down at his dirty Reeboks. He cleared his throat before starting: "Um, so -".
"Did you feel it too?" She cut in. "I'm really confused right now, and I just need to make sure I'm not hallucinating or something".
"No sweetheart, you're not hallucinating".
She couldn't tell if her face was warm due to the humid weather or Eddie's pet name.
"Can I ask why you're confused?"
"I... The colors didn't blossom like they were supposed to, I think. They didn't fully come through like I thought they were meant to. I'm only seeing little bits and pieces of color in between normal grays and whites".
Eddie nodded, recognition flooding his face. "I had the same thing happen when I met my partner, Steve".
"Steve, like dingus Steve?"
"Yeah, like dingus Steve," Eddie laughed. "Both of us actually experienced that. We were both really confused, but with a little research we learned that in rare occasions, some people can have multiple soulmates".
Her eyes widened. It makes sense in theory, but it was all overwhelming. Just yesterday she was sure she'd never run into her soulmate and now there's a possibility that she has more than one?
"When we made eye contact, color flooded the rest of my vision. All the black and white disappeared. I have never felt more comfortable meeting someone, not since I met Steve. I don't know what this means for any of us, but I know that you must be my missing soulmate".
She slowly took a step back, Eddie following with a step forward and his hands up, as if approaching a wounded animal.
"I just, please take some time. It's a lot to process. If you have any questions or want to talk, here's my number," He pulled out his breakfast receipt with his number scratched on it. "Steve and I have a lot to talk about too".
She nodded, looking down at the piece of paper in his hand. She plucked it with a shaking hand.
"Just give me a couple days to think everything over. I promise I'll call soon, I just need some time," She turned to unlock her car door.
Eddie nodded and opened the door for her. "Drive safely, and give me a call, yeah?"
She nodded and carefully pulled out of the parking lot. Eddie crossed his hands and cradled the back of his head as he watched her drive away.
Fuck, this changes everything.

Pt. 2 Summary: You've been avoiding Steve ever since you caught him and and Nancy making out at the Lake. Unfortunately, you can't avoid him forever. While helping him clean up after a messy s'more night, he approaches you.
*Not Proof Read*
ABC List Part 1 Stranger Things Masterlist
*****
It's been two weeks.
I've done my best to avoid Steve and Nancy as much as possible, which is proving to be a very hard thing to do.
Morning meetings are the worst. Every morning at 5 am, the counselors are expected to meet at the dining hall for a brief run down of the day. Usually everyone is still in their PJ's, hoping the meeting will be short enough for everyone to catch a few more minutes of sleep before the kids get up.
The mornings are usually pretty cold. Almost everyone shows up in some sort of jacket or sweat shirt. Not Steve. Every morning he comes dressed in a nice fitting T, perfectly showing off his arms.
Stop staring at Steve.
Stupid crush. Stupid fucking crush.
I force myself to look away from Steve. Instead of his usual spot by Nancy, he's decided to take a seat next to Robin and Vickie, one of the other camp cooks.
" If I didn't know any better, I'd say you have a crush on Harrington. " Eddie's voice is teasing but quiet.
I snap my head towards him. " Do not. " I state sternly, fear running through my veins. He can't find out.
Eddie chuckles. " You sure do stare a lot for someone without a crush. " Eddie's elbows rest comfortably against the table. His legs are sprawled out, not bothering how much room they take up. His hair is tossed up into a sleepy bun, a rare sight for the man who always has his hair down. " Don't worry, I won't tell. " He raises a finger to his lips, indicating my secret is safe with him. He winks, sending a flurry of embarrassment running through me.
I've never liked Eddie like that, but he sure does know how to fluster someone.
" I don't like him. " I insist. " So you don't have anything to keep secret. "
Eddie nods mockingly. " That's not what Henderson told me...but if you insist..." He holds his hands up in surrender.
I let out a small groan. Of course Dustin blabbed to Eddie. Dustin tells Eddie everything. Nothing even happened, I don't understand why Dustin spinned it to sound like we made out.
" Is everything alright over there? " Hopper asks, looking over at me and Eddie. " Are you feeling alright? "
" Yeah, perfectly fine. Just a little headache. " I lie.
" Well, if you're alright, we'll get back to today's agenda..."
My eyes scan across the table. Across the way, Steve's eyes meet mine. On his face is a small look of...confusion?
This is going to be a tough morning.
-------
The loud chatter of happy campers slowly fades away as the large oak dining hall doors close. Soon, Steve and I are left alone in the echoing room.
I begin picking up various chocolate wrappers on the floor the tables. They'd somehow managed to completely trash the dining hall in a single hour.
" So..." Steve begins, cutting through the silence. " are you and Eddie...a thing? " He asks calmly, glancing over at me from the table he's wiping down.
I let out a small laugh. " Me and Eddie? No. No way. He's...not my type. " The constant smell of weed is headache inducing. Frankly, it's confusing how Hopper hasn't fired him for drugs. He doesn't sell to kids but that definitely doesn't mean he doesn't sell to other of age counselors.
Plus he's not really into relationships. He's more of a hit it and quit it type.
" What is your type? " Steve asks. I feel his gaze on me as I start scrubbing one of the tables with a wet rag.
" Not Eddie, that's for sure. " I scrub a little harder at a hardened drop of melted marshmallow. " I like guys who...I don't know, like the same things as me. Why do you ask? " I don't understand why he gives a shit about my love life.
Steve shrugs, his gaze finally moving away. " I saw you and him this morning and I thought maybe you were dating or something. It's stupid, it doesn't matter. "
" Still single. " I mumble.
A thick silence settles in the room. Once again, Steve is the one to break it.
" Are you mad at me? " His voice is soft, like he's worried or something.
I look over at the brunette. " No. " I reply honestly. " Why would you think that? "
We both pause where we are, instead occupying ourselves by looking at each other. We're both trying to read each other.
Steve shrugs, folding his arms over his chest. " You just seem...distant. I don't know, ever since you caught Nance and I at the lake we don't talk anymore. Did I do something? "
I shake my head. " You...you didn't do anything. "
" Then why are you avoiding me? "
If I tell him he'll probably get weirded out. I mean, how awkward is it to be around someone who has a massive crush on you when you don't reciprocate the feeling?
But it might help me get over him if he stops actively trying to talk to me.
I'm going to do it. I need to. Fuck, but what about Nancy?
Fuck Nancy. I need to get over this man. This handsome, kind man.
" I have a crush on you, okay? " I blurt out. " It's stupid, I know. You're with Nancy, I understand that. "
His eyes widen in surprise. " What? "
" I don't want to make things awkward. I'm trying to get over you, that's why I'm avoiding you. Fuck, can you please just stop asking questions now? You got your answer. "
I feel a blush creep onto my cheeks. I did it. I told him.
" I like you to. " Steve pushes himself away from the table he's leaned against. He walks towards me.
My eyes go wide. " What? "
He's joking. Right? He has to be joking.
No this has to be a dream, some weird fucking dream. In no universe would Steve Fucking Harrington like me back.
" I like you too. " Steve finally makes it to me. He stands a close, leaving only a few inches of space between us. His eyes stare into mine, a small smile resting on his lips. " I have liked you for the past couple of years. "
I shake my head, stepping back to put some distance between us. " You're with Nancy. You can't like me. That's fucked up. I don't want to be a homewrecker-I can't be. You-you and Nancy are good together. "
Steve shakes his head. " We're not together, Y/N. I broke up with her. For good this time. " He sighs, running a hand through his hair. " Just because we're good together doesn't mean we're meant to be together. "
I'm the reason they broke up. Robin was right. I'm the fucking worst. Who ruins a relationship? I mean, I didn't know I was ruining it, but Steve's crush on me ruined everything for them. Nancy probably hates me.
" Nancy has known about my crush for a while. " Steve admits nervously. " That's why we've broken up so much. I-no matter what I do I can't get you out of my fucking head. " He lets out a frustrated sigh. " Your smile, your eyes, fuck it's all I see at night. I sound insane, I know, but I don't know what to do. I can't just be in a relationship with someone else when all I think about is you. "
I continue to create space between us. " So I'm the reason you guys broke up? " Guilt begins to build up in my stomach.
" No! " Steve shakes his head. " You-you didn't do anything. There were plenty of other problems involved with our break up. This wasn't your fault. Honestly, this has been building up for years. Even if I didn't have a crush on you, Nancy and I probably would've split for good anyways. "
I still feel horrible. Like I contributed to their break up.
" Please, Y/N. You have to believe me. This wasn't your fault. "
I search Steve's eyes for any sign of lying. His expression is desperate, like he's scared I'm going to leave.
I stop.
Relief floods Steve's face.
" You really like me? " I ask quietly, scared he's going to laugh and make fun of me for believing him. He did have a mean streak in high school. I thought he grew out of it though.
" I swear on my life, I like you. " Steve's expression is sincere. " I like you so much sometimes I feel like my heart is going to explode. "
I smile at the man. I never would have imagined this would happen. " I like you too. "
Steve begins to walk towards me again. This time, I don't run away. Once he's a few inches from me, he gently takes my hand. " Will you go on date with me, Y/N. "
" I would love to, Steve. "

Very First Date.
Tumblr media
Pairing: Steve Harrington x female reader.
Word count: About 5.1k words.
Warnings: 18+, Reader has a bad date with another guy who kept making sexual advances towards her.(Nothing detailed though.), Steve talks slightly about a fight with his father, reader mentions not having a good relationship with hers either for a moment. (Nothing really descriptive here either.) Other than that, its mostly a FLUFFYYYY PIECE.
I DID IGNORE THE LAYOUT OF STEVE’S ROOF FOR THE ENDING BECAUSE I WANTED THEM TO LOOK AT STARS.
Summary:  Steve and the reader are best friends after having worked at Scoops together. Reader went out on a date with a guy which ended horribly and found herself at Steve’s to tell him about it and complain about how she hadn’t had a good date in months. Steve takes matters into his own hands since he’s into the reader and takes her out for a night wanting to remind her how she should be treated by a guy.
Author’s note: THIS IS MY FIRST STEVE HARRINGTON IMAGINE I HAVE FULLY FINISHED! Usually I would stop halfway through, worried they weren’t going to fit the image I had created in my head. I am feeling a lot better tonight, after having been in the ER the other night. And I’m surprised to be sharing something around 8pm instead of 2 am.
I did proofread but I’m sorry if I missed something, this was overall just a fluffy imagine I did because I saw a great Steve edit on Tiktok.
PLEASE CLICK ON MY ACCOUNT AND CHECKOUT MY OTHER WORK, I mostly write for Eddie and can’t add my writing masterlist because I’ve been having issues with being shadow banned.
But enjoy!
------
Steve was having a horrible night.
His first Friday off in three weeks and he was at home moping alone.
First off you were out on a date with another guy. Not like it actually matters that it bothered him, because you two were just friends and that was it.
But on top of that, Robin canceled on him because Vickie asked her if she was free.
Which don't get him wrong, he was happy for his friend. But fuck did he not want to be alone tonight.
He thought about calling up Linda or Heidi, in the end deciding against it. He was tired of flings that weren't going anywhere.
Little did Steve know though, you were having as bad of night.
The date you were on had to be one of the worst you have ever been on.
You didn't even last past thirty minutes into it.
You told the boy you were heading to the ladies' room and snuck off quickly paying for a meal that wasn't even out yet before leaving.
Driving towards the Harrington home, you were ready to complain to your friends about how horrible another date went.
You felt defeated, like you were done with men.
Partially because the fact most of them were animals, and also just because they weren't the one you wanted anyway.
You wanted the boy who you were heading towards, the boy who felt like home to you when you needed someone to make you feel better.
You wanted Steve Harrington.
But you knew your friendship meant too much to you to even think about ruining it over some stupid feelings you had, so you kept them buried.
Opening the unlocked door you yell out into the home, trying to pinpoint where the two were.
"Steve? Robin?" You ask, closing the door behind you quietly hoping to not scare either of them.
From the kitchen Steve heard your voice, confused as he spread the mayo over the bread of the sandwich he was making.
"(Y/N)?" He questions, because he thought you would be on your date right now.
Steve felt his heart start beating faster as he realized you were here and not on your date, mind racing with different answers to why that might be.
Taking off your shoes and bag you respond to the boy by answering a loud,
"Yes," before leaving your items by the door.
Steve hears your muffled voice through the wall, smiling to himself. He was happy to know maybe he wouldn't be alone tonight. Even if it was just a friend, who he wish would be more.
But it still felt like a win because you were here instead of with some other guy.
"Kitchen." Steve tells you, hearing your steps coming through the hallway into the big kitchen.
You walk in to see him making a single sandwich, not sandwiches, just a sandwich.
"Is that what you're having for dinner?" You laugh confused on how that was going to fill him up. Hopping your body up, you take a seat on the counter behind him.
Steve shrugs, a light blush creeping on his face because he really wasn't expecting to see anyone tonight.
He was down and wanted something simple that didn't take much effort.
"I don't feel like making anything else." Steve says, finishing his meal.
You giggle lightly as the boy turns around, sandwich small in his big hands. His face still a little red as he took a bite.
"You're going to be hungry again in like an hour." You tell him playfully, watching his eyes twinkle when they meet yours.
Chewing, he took in your outfit.
You were wearing a light pink plaid skirt with a low cut black top.
You looked beautiful to him, the sound of your giggling through the air making him nervous.
Steve shakes the feeling off before shrugging.
"Then I'll order take out." He tells you, chucking slightly before taking another bite.
You nod, understanding. Your eyes roamed around the room to see if you could find any remnants of Robin around.
Not seeing anything you turn your stare back towards him.
"Where's Robin?" You ask him, frowning slightly because you thought they were both off tonight.
You see Steve's body soften a little bit at your question.
"She canceled on me, Vickie asked to see her. Which good for her actually, one of us deserved to have a fun night." Steve answers, taking the last bite of his sandwich.
Steve's heart pound as he brought his eyes back up to yours.
"Are you supposed to be on a date?" He asks you, praying it was canceled and you hadn't gone.
Your body tensed while a sigh slipped your lips, yours legs automatically kicking back and forth slightly.
"That's why I'm here. I wanted to tell both of you how horrible it was, and when I say horrible Steve, I mean horrible." You tell him, shivering at the thought of earlier.
Steve's head popped up a little bit as he tried to not look excited about the fact your date hadn't gone well.
While he was happy for that, he was also wondering what could of made it so bad.
He questioned if maybe he would have to go kick the guy's ass.
"I thought you were out with that one guy from science club? Um, Jackson or whatever." Steve says, smirking internally because he knew the guy's name. But didn't want to seem like he was that important to him.
It's not like he hadn't been questioning the last few days, multiple different times, what that guy had that he didn't.
Meeting your eyes with Steve's, you tap your fingers nervously on the counter.
"Jacob, his name was Jacob." You tell him, watching him nod.
"And I had gone on the date, but god I didn't expect it to go so bad so fast." You finish, cringing as you see Steve's brow crinkle.
"What do you mean?" Steve asks you, arms crossing his chest.
Your body langue continues to be anxious, your feet still swinging as you tilt your head back before taking a deep breath.
"I mean literally not even fifteen minutes into the date he was trying to feel up my skirt. Not to mention all the sexual advances he kept making and nasty things he was saying. The whole situation just made me uncomfortable." You tell him honestly, seeing Steve grimace.
He didn't want you to go out with anyone else, but you didn't deserve that to happen.
"He always seemed so um." Steve speaks, snapping his fingers for the word.
"Innocent?" You finish, watching him nod in agreement.
"That's the word." He says, pointing out a finger.
"That's why I agreed to go out with him, I thought maybe this one wouldn't be a pervert so fast in. Not that I'm even against sleeping with someone on the first date, but fuck at least let us get through dinner." You groan, eyes rolling.
"Did you get through dinner?" He asks while you shake your head.
"No, I told him I had to go to the bathroom then went to the register to pay, leaving to come here. Didn't touch my food or anything since it wasn't out yet." You say truthfully, you didn't want to risk waiting a second longer there.
Steve rolls his eyes playfully.
"You should of left him to pay for it." Steve chuckles, lifting his gaze to yours a smile on his mouth.
"I should of, but I just wanted out of there." You shake your your head, laughing lightly.
"I just want one good date, I legit haven't been a good first date in months." You sigh, looking down at your feet.
Steve sits there for a second staring at you, idea sparking in his head.
You were dressed for a date still, and he was dressed since he was originally supposed to hang out with Robin.
"Are you hungry?" He asks, raising an eyebrow, leaning his head back slightly.
"What?" You ask him, bringing your gaze to his.
"Are you hungry? Because you're right that sandwich didn't do anything." Steve shrugs, trying to be nonchalant.
You purse yours lips together for a moment.
"I could eat." You nod, watching him lean off the counter.
Steve smiles, nodding.
"Then lets go." He motions, holding his hand out to you.
Raising an eyebrow you take his hand, getting off the counter.
"Go where?" You ask, fixing your skirt.
You were confused on what Steve was doing, we're you two going to go out to eat? Get take out and come back here? What was on his mind, you wondered.
"Let's go show you that there are still good first dates in the world." Steve says seriously, grabbing his keys off the counter.
He decided even if he couldn't officially take you out without admitting his feelings,  he could still show you what it's like. Friends show friends a good time right?
You freeze in place, wondering if you were dreaming.
"First date?" You squeak as he laughs, turning back towards you.
"Yes, date. Come on, friends can take each other out." He smiles at you.
"Now let me show you that even though you will have some bad dates, there will be good ones waiting for you." He finishes, motioning to the front door.
Standing there you see him standing tall, muscles sticking out of his blue stripped shirt while he held the door open for you.
It wouldn't hurt to let him show you a good time you thought.
After all friends can have friend dates, right?
"I guess I'm still dressed for it." You agree, following him as he goes to lock the front door behind you two.
Steve felt himself stumbling slightly to find the key before leading you to the car.
After all he had to make it seem like this wasn't as big of deal to him as it really was.
"Just sit back and enjoy the night because you're right, I have only heard you talk about how bad your dates have been lately. And you deserve a good one." Steve tells you, opening the passenger door for you to get in.
A blush comes across your cheeks while you take a seat.
"Already starting huh?" You tease, smile on your lips.
"Like I said, I'm going to show you a good first date." He smiles, closing the door behind you.
Steve starts driving, eventually pulling into a gas station down the road.
He didn't really need gas for what he had planned, but he needed an excuse to stop to get you something he would get you if he was taking you on a real first date.
"I need to get some gas before we go anywhere." Steve says, hopping out of the car leaving you to wait nervously.
You sat there, hand tapping on your thigh, wondering where tonight was going to take you two.
You've liked him for the past couple of years since working together at Scoops, not that you didn't think he was cute before that.
Just you guys never really spoke before in high school other than some small talk here and there.
You wondered if maybe you should stop this, not wanting to confuse yourself too much by not being able to keep a straight head after this.
You didn't want to lose him over a silly crush.
But you couldn't help but wonder if you should let it play through, because it could possibly be the closest thing you'll get to a real date with Steve Harrington.
Turning your head back towards the opening gas station door, out comes a smiling Steve with an arm behind his back.
Still smiling he opens the car door, leaning in.
Steve watched your face turn awestruck as he brought his arm around, a single red rose for you in his hands.
He tucks a piece of his hair behind his ear nervously after you take the flower from his hand.
You fingers lightly running over the petals delicately.
"Normally I would of got you flowers before hand, but this date caught me off guard." Steve chuckles, seeing you smile softly.
"Steve, you didn't have t-" You start, getting cut off by the boy protesting you to let the night just happen.
"(Y/N), like I said just sit back and relax and just enjoy the night. That way you'll remember to not settle for anyone's shit during another date you'll have." He tells you, getting out to pump the gas he bought.
Twirling the flower in your hand, you were a giddy mess.
Not even into the actual so called date yet, and it was already one of the best dates you've had.
No one had ever given you flowers on a date.
You've gotten some for a few holidays, after begging for them of course. But you had never experienced anyone willingly wanting to give you something so simple but so special.
Shaking off the butterflies in your stomach, you turn towards Steve after he gets back into the car.
"Thank you for this Steve." You tell him honestly, seeing his eyes glimmer as he starts the car.
Steve's heart exploded at how happy you were about the flower.
He would buy you all the flowers in the world if it meant to see you with that look on your face the rest of his life.
He couldn't wait for the rest of the night, knowing if you enjoyed this then you were going to have a great time tonight.
"Just wait till you see the rest of the date." Steve winks teasingly through the rearview mirror, pulling out of the gas station.
The drive was quiet besides the light humming from Steve as he listened to the music playing through the radio.
Both of you were as nervous as the other, unknowingly of course.
Steve drove out into a small town, smaller than Hawkins, about 20 minutes out.
He pulled into a little ma and pa pizzeria, the red glowing lights shining in the night as you took in the little brick building.
Steve was a gentleman as always, demanding to open the car door for you, which you gladly accepted.
You decided you were going to let yourself enjoy every minute of this, because deep down you hoped maybe he would enjoy it as much as you.
He lead you inside, both of you picking a small little booth in the corner as you waited for a waitress to arrive.
The place was small but cute.
All of the booths were hardwood with white and black checkered floor tiles underneath.
The walls were hardwood as well, red checkered table cloths giving the place a much needed pop of color.
There was even cute hanging lights above each table, giving them all a personal romantic glow.
Bringing your eyes to Steve, you smile.
"How often do you come here?" You ask him softly.
Taken aback a bit, Steve feels nervous wondering if you meant if he brough other dates here.
He wouldn't ever dare to bring anyone else here, besides Robin maybe. But other than that, no one was important enough to bring here other than you.
"By myself? Probably once a week, with anyone else? Never." Steve says honestly, watching your eyes widen a bit.
"Really? How did you find this place then?" You ask him, leaning your chin onto your hand.
Steve nods, taking a look at his hands before picking his arm to rest it on the table.
"It happened a few weeks after graduation actually." He tells you, not wanting to make eye contact.
"I uh had got in a really bad fight with my father about my future, or well lack there of according to him. And I took one of his many checkbooks, thinking about signing me a fat check and just leaving. I started to drive, not really caring about anything just being fueled by anger and ended up stopping here to breathe. Now the rest is history, and I've been coming here ever since." Steve explains, playing with his hands nervously.
He had never told anyone about that night.
Your heart aches for him, not having a good relationship with your parents either.
Not always seeing eye to eye on your future as well.
"Tell me you at least used his checkbook to buy your dinner that night?" You ask him, placing your hand on his.
Steve chuckles, bringing his eyes to yours.
"No, but I should have. It would of been the least he could do." Steve smiles, while you give him a light squeeze.
"Why didn't you ever tell me about that?" You say quietly,  intertwining your hand with his.
"I think because until recently, I actually thought he was right." He says honestly, both of your hearts beating fast from the electricity running between your fingers.
You could swear if you let go then lightning would hit the lamp above you.
"Steve your father wasn't right at all, and I'm happy you didn't leave because if you would have then we wouldn't be here, and I can't stand the thought that you might not have came into my life." You tell him truthfully.
If he would of left, you would of been working at Scoops with who knows instead of Steve.
That summer set the path to where you two were today.
"Really?" He asks as you nod.
"Really." You smile, seeing your waitress approaching from the side.
Reviewing the menu took forever for both of you, Steve said everything he had tried previously had been great. And on top of that it was kind of late with it being about 7:30 when you arrived, and both of you not having really ate much earlier didn't help when deciding what to order.
But you two settled on a plate of mozzarella sticks to start with and a medium house special to share with extra green peppers.
The conversation over dinner was alive, no small talk having to happen at all since you two knew each other so well. There were no awkward pauses or laughs, it was fun and energetic.
It was a great change of pace for both of you, since both of you had been on dates that were more than less boring lately.
You two were laughing loudly as you walked out of the restaurant.
The leftover pizza box hugged against your chest while Steve opened your door for you again.
"Steve thank you for sharing this place with me and what it means to you. It was truly one of the better dates I've been on." You tell him as he takes a seat.
Mentally high-fiving himself, he was happy to know you enjoyed what he had planned so far.
But was lowkey hurt you thought that this was all to his date with you.
He looks over, pouting jokingly with a hand over his heart.
"Why are you talking like it's over? We still have more to do till it's done." Steve says, glimmer in his eyes.
"What do you mean there's more?" You ask him, hint of curiosity in your voice, watching the car back out of the parking lot.
"I mean, I don't only come here for the pizza. There's also an awesome ice cream parlor down the road that has the best malts. Which I know you love right?" He asks, already knowing the answer because you go to the ice cream shop in town every payday of yours.
"You're right, I do love a good butterscotch malt." You laugh, seeing a smile form on his face.
"Yeah so just let me do my thing and make sure you have a fun night okay? I hate to say it but you will probably be getting home late tonight because it's already almost nine." He nods, finger pointing over to the clock on the dash.
"You trying to get me to the spend the night Harrington?"  You joke teasingly, turning your body so your crossed legs were facing him.
He was right, your mom locked the door at ten because she had to be up by four am and didn't want to be awakened by the door slamming.
If you weren't home by then it was up to you to find a place to stay, especially since you got your key privileges taken away years ago because you kept losing them.
Your mom is convinced someone who finds the silver key will somehow know it belonged to your front door.
"Hey, then it was a good first date." He says playfully, pulling into the gravel drive of what you guessed to be the ice cream shop.
"But yes, more than likely by the time we get home your mom will have the door locked. So you will probably have to crash at mine." Steve tells you truthfully, opening the door to get out of the car.
After looking over the menu you ended up ordering what you and Steve already knew you were going to, a butterscotch malt.
The girl at the window handed you two your malts before you sat down at one of the tables outside.
"So did you find this place the night you found the pizzeria?" You ask him, bringing the straw to your mouth.
"Uh no actually, I found this a few months later. I came out here to eat one night but decided I still didn't feel like going home so I went exploring the town a little more." He tells you, watching your eyes roll back as you taste the ice cream.
"You've been holding out on me Harrington, you've been coming here for a little over a year and didn't think to tell me their malts are better than ours?" You laugh, pointing your straw at him.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry." He chuckles, hands and malt going to the air defensively.
"So I am really the first girl you brought out here?" You ask teasingly, brow raised.
"You are." He nods, pulling his straw away from his lips.
"I didn't want to take you on any other date I would take anyone else. Especially since I do know you, and know what you like so it's a little easier for me to think of something you would enjoy." Steve says honestly, seeing you blush lightly.
"Steve that is honestly so sweet, and you really don't know how much that means to me." You tell him, watching him stand up.
"Which is why I have one more thing to share with you before the end of this date." He smiles, taking your hand into his to follow him.
"What is it?" You ask him, feeling your heart beat as you talk quietly towards his car.
The feeling of your fingers intertwined for the second time that night, making you want to pass out.
"I didn't tell you anything else we were doing, why do you think I'll tell you now?." Steve chuckles, lifting his face slightly as he bumps his shoulder with yours.
"You're right," you agree while he sets his malt on top of the car so he can open the door.
Both of your fingers lingering when it comes time to let go.
The car ride home felt heavy with tension while you two wondered if you were imagining the tension in the air.
Steve wanted so badly to rest his hand on your thigh, and have you place your hand on top of his to hold him while you two drove back home.
But he wasn't sure if he would be crossing a line.
So he just longed for the feeling of your skin pressed against his.
Driving through Hawkins you glanced over at Steve, confused when his house came into view.
"Just trust me." He tells you, parking the vehicle.
Steve walks past you when you're inside, placing the pizza box on the counter along with the empty malt cups before motioning for you to follow him up the stairs.
Walking up to the hallway of his bedroom, you felt yourself get shaky.
He wasn't trying to get you in bed right?
Not that you would hate to do that, you thought.
But just you thought he would put more effort into it if this was really his goal.
"Steve?" You ask him, slowing your movements behind him.
Steve turns halfway back to see you glancing between him and his bedroom.
"Oh, no no no. It's not like that (Y/N), just keep following me." He chuckles, shaking his head.
He stops at the hallway window, messing around with the screen before it pops off.
"Come on," Steve tells you, placing the screen against the wall before climbing through.
Peering out you felt your heart beat fast as you climbed out onto the flat park of the roof to see Steve leaning back on the tiled roof by the window. Taking a seat next to him you lay down, arms behind your head looking at the stars above.
You two were towards the back of the house, the trees and pool surrounding you.
The reflection of the moonlight bounced off the pool, it was all dark besides the dimmed lights under the water of the pool.
It was peaceful out here, breathing in the fresh air.
"I would come out here during high school to just think sometimes." Steve shares, glancing over.
"It's beautiful, I would of too." You nod, happy he shown you more about him today.
"Well you can come whenever you need, bad date? Come here. Bad day in general? Come here." He shrugs slightly, sighing to himself as he realized the date was soon coming to an end.
"I might take you up on it sometime." You tell him, sitting up to glance down at the pool.
"You know where the spare is, and that my door is always open to you." Steve chuckles, sitting up.
"Is this the last part of the date?" You ask him, bringing your gaze back up to meet his.
"Yeah." Steve nods.
"How about I add something and we go for a swim?" You suggest, tilting your head towards the pool, seeing him raise an eyebrow.
"Are you wanting to go for a swim?" He asks you.
"Yeah, why not? It's a nice night." You shrug, smirking slightly.
"You don't have a swimsuit." Steve reminds you.
"So what? Literally I feel like a bikini is the same thing as my bra and underwear, just different materials." You laugh, standing up to go inside down to the pool.
Pulling off your shirt, you glance down at him.
"You coming?" You ask, seeing him get flustered.
"Ye-yeah" Steve stutters, standing up.
You were right he thought, it wasn't much different besides the materials.
Both of you make it down to the pool, kicking off your shoes before you let your skirt and shirt fall onto the cement.
"Meet you in there Harrington?" You smile, running to jump into the pool.
The water surrounded you as you submerged beneath. Your fingers keeping the air trapped in your lungs while they plugged your nose.
A gasp escapes your lips when you come back to the surface.
Steve was standing there with his shoes and jeans off, nervous about getting it to the water.
"Come on take off your shirt Harrington and get in the water."  You call out teasingly.
"I'm coming, I'm coming." He laughs, reaching to pull the shirt off from behind his neck.
You start whistling and hollering as his torso becomes revealed, Steve's face turning red for the millionth time that night.
"You're been working out Steve." You tease, watching him jump into the water.
His tall frame disappearing into the water before coming back up.
"Is that way of you saying I look good?" Steve chuckles, shaking his hair like a dog, causing you to squeal from the water hitting you.
"Well duh, I have eyes. I'm not blind." You laugh watching him splash towards you.
Moving quickly, you scream at the cold water hitting your back.
"Hey, hey, hey. I said let's swim, not splash." You screech, trying to swim away.
"I think you're forgetting you're in the water with a guy who was on the swim team." He laughs, following while he splashes you more.
"Steve, stop." You laugh, turning back to splash him.
The sounds of both of you laughing and the water moving echoes into the open air.
"Never." He jokes, going to grab your arm.
"Steve don't you dare dunk me." You scream, feeling him overpower you while he pulls you close.
The feeling of his strong arms wrapped around you distracted you as he pulls you down with him in the water before bringing both of you back to the surface.
"God I hate you Harrington." You laugh, wiping the chorine filled water off your eyes.
"No you don't." Steve smiles, arms still wrapped around you.
"Steve, don't please." You scream again, feeling him spin with you in temptation while your arms automatically wrapped around his neck in fear.
"Okay, I won't. But did you at least have fun tonight?" Steve smiles, arms still holding you as he moves in the water.
"I did. Actually, I think it was the best first date I've ever been on." You say honestly, looking up to his eyes. His wet hair framing his face as his grin widens.
"You really think so?" He asks, looking down at you.
"I do." You nod nervously, feeling your back hit the wall of the pool making you realize you were still really close together.
"I wish it could of been like an actual first date though." You laugh shyly,  one of your hands moving to rest on his chest while the other lingers on around his neck to play with his hair lightly between your fingers.
"Do you want to consider it an actual date?" Steve asks, chest moving harshly up and down under your finger tips.
"Would it be alright if I did?" You ask, biting your lip slightly.
"As long as you would let me take you out again," He smiles, his eyes twinkling while the water droplets rolled down his chest.
"On a date date right?" You ask, smirk forming.
"If I'm being honest, I was treating this as a date date." He tells you.
"I've liked you for a while (Y/N), but I was nervous about asking you out so I thought this was the only way it would happen." Steve continues honestly, picking you up a little higher.
"I've liked you for a while too Harington, and actually thought the same thing about this date. When you offered I thought this may be my only chance to get taken out by you." You smile, wrapping your legs tighter around him.
"Well how about we make up for lost time starting tomorrow with breakfast?" He asks, bringing his face down closer to yours.
"That works for me." You tell him, grinning into the kiss as your lips connect with his.

════════════════════════
You started to get suspicious by the third time you ended up under the mistletoe. It would have been one thing if you were at a party and somebody was playing a prank on you, or if you hadn’t been dating Steve for so long.
“Babe, would you help me with this?” he asked from the kitchen.
You stood up from the floor where you had been attempting to fix the lights on the tree and followed his voice.
The moment you reached the doorway, he gasped. “Look up!”
You didn’t have to do so to know there was mistletoe above your head. Reaching over, you grabbed him by the collar and brought him in for a kiss. He was never happy with a small one. His arms snaked around you as he deepened the kiss, sighing as though you hadn’t kissed him in a long time.
The big stupid grin on his face made it hard for you to be mad so you just shook your head in amusement.
The next time, the lights had been fixed and you were trying to find the right angle to place his camera for some photos in front of the tree.
Steve spent five minutes fixing his hair, ignoring your insistence that he looked perfect already.
He sauntered toward you and reached up. You assumed he would fix your hair now, but his hand hung over your head instead.
You sighed and looked up. There hung the mistletoe, pinched between Steve's fingers. Without a word, you pulled him into another kiss, grabbing him by the collar with one hand while you buried your other fingers in his hair.
Steve harrumphed as you parted from him, bringing a hand up to his hair and fixing his hair again. “Ready for the photos?”
“Yeah.”
He dropped the mistletoe onto the couch.
You laughed. "At least let the poor thing be in the photo!"
He shook his head. “And make it look like I need to force you to kiss me? No, thank you. You’ve been all over me all day!”
You rolled your eyes. “Come on, it’s getting late, and this sweater is itchy.”
Steve complied, probably because he was growing hot with a jacket indoors on top of his own sweater.
Taking photos was a pain, though. He refused to stop, arguing it was better to have many options for an album than to settle for less-than-good photos.
At the end of the night, after dinner, you agreed to go for a walk to look at the houses around the neighborhood.
He buried his hands in his pockets, patiently waiting for you to wrap your scarf around your neck.
You were searching for your gloves when he withdrew something from his pocket, gasping. “Would you look at that?”
Honestly, you should have known better, expected it even, yet you looked up and came face to face with mistletoe.
Despite yourself, you laughed and pressed your lips to his. Steve threw the mistletoe to the floor, wrapping both arms around your middle. Your fingers again tangled in his hair, but this time he didn’t have any complaints.
You would have told him to forget about the Christmas lights in the neighborhood, and the walk, and the cold you would have to endure. But you wanted to see the pretty houses and swing your clasped hands as you walked around the neighborhood he had insisted was perfect.
“This is the only present you’re getting from me this year,” you said sternly, lips ghosting his.
"Really?” Steve asked in a child-like high pitch.
”No,” you admitted.
You just couldn’t be mad at him!
