I don't wish death on any of my relatives, but sometimes I wished that I too had a wealthy relative that left me their historic home in their will. It would be located in or near a small town and I would fall in love with the handsome guy that helps me fix it up and they turn out to be practically giftwrapped for me by my dead relative. Then of course me and the guy would have our first kiss at exactly 8PM.
This is what comes from a shit economy (and a severe lack of rich relatives) and too many Hallmark movies.

Instead of them making the same superhero movies of the same superhero franchises (Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, etc.) they should make superhero movies of the obscure/underrated heroes. Like a movie about Plastic Man and Elongated Man; Dazzler and Dagger (from Cloak and Dagger); Martian Manhunter, Miss Martian, and Saturn Girl; etc.
The movies don't need to be "edgy" they can just be lighthearted fun with some battles thrown in where the bad guys and/or civilians keep mixing up the heroes.

This puts a whole new perspective when Will Herondale says his soul's color is mauve.
FWIW, "mauve" was one of the coal-tar dyes developed in the mid-19th century that made eye-wateringly bright clothing fashionable for a few decades.
It was an eye-popping magenta purple

HOWEVER, like most aniline dyes, it faded badly, to a washed-out blue-grey ...
...which was the color ignorant youngsters in the 1920s associated with “mauve”.
(This dress is labeled "mauve" as it is the color the above becomes after fading).
They colored their vision of the past with washed-out pastels that were NOTHING like the eye-popping electric shades the mid-Victorians loved. This 1926 fashion history book by Paul di Giafferi paints a hugely distorted, I would say dishonest picture of the past.

Ever since then this faded bluish lavender and not the original electric eye-watering hot pink-purple is the color associated with the word “mauve”.

Does anyone else picture Kaz's dog form as a chihuahua?
Kaz and Damien's relationship, especially at the beginning of the first book, is basically Jaken and Sesshomaru from Inuyasha.

Restoring G1 Abbey Bominable
I recently a G1 Abbey Bominable that I thought only needed a hair cleaning, but it turns out she has yellowing all over her body. I know early MH dolls were prone to glue seepage that causes yellowing on the head. She is a glue head, but luckily it hasn't started affecting her face...yet. I will be fixing that sooner than later.
I've gotten to the point where the only thing that will remove the yellowing on her body would be to paint over those areas. Now, I know when painting plastic it's necessary to slightly roughen the surface so the paint sticks. But Abbey's body is already rough because of the glitter imbedded in the plastic. Do I still need to sand the areas I'm painting?
TLDR: Need tips restoring G1 Monster High doll bodies.

I finished rereading The Hunger Games trilogy for the second time and I have thoughts:
The idea that the people Katniss comes across by the lake, in Catching Fire, on their way to District 13 died on their journey is a bit sus to me. They were almost there, they had enough food to get there, and Katniss had taught them some skills that should have been enough to make the rest of the journey.
I really want to know Katniss' dad's name, I kind of want to know her mom's name too. But not as much as I want about her dad.
I want to know more about Cinna, I had forgotten that it was confirmed in Mockingjay that he was dead. I want to know why he wanted to work with District 12
I want to know more about Tigris, more specifically about her modifications. I had forgotten that she had a tail and not just tiger stripes. Was she modified internally to have the diet of a carnivore? I know some of her background is revealed in Ballad (haven't read it yet), but I want to know what happened to her after the war
What was it like for Effie locked up
I want to know what Peeta and Katniss named their children. Did they name them after people who died?
What's Annie and Finnick's son's name
