You just need a reassuring word, or a tender hand, a warm hug, to be told you're loved. You have friends, this is a normal thing to exchange amongst eachother. Instead, you have only yourself. You try to reassure yourself. Try to simulate being held. Try to remind yourself of your value, and that things will turn out alright. Your friends seem to be friends by name only. When they're doing poorly, you're the first to check in. You wonder why it's so difficult for them to do the same for you.
