right away, i could see connections that would blossom between the two of you !! so for the sake of immersion, let's dive into this hypothetical scenario of you living in the world of teyvat ...

you're a traveler who likes to go from nation to nation, but liyue is the destination you travel to the most. you're paying the beautiful nation a visit, & everyone is happy to see you again. you enjoy third round knockout & their delectable beverages. after settling into an inn on the harbor, you immediately head there & order an iced coffee & a small appetizer of the spicy variety - two of your favorites !!

however, for the first time, there is someone sitting at your usual table that you don't recognize. it appears your schedules have finally lined up. this is where you first meet zhongli.

right away, you two hit it off. the conversations never seem to end & he is very curious to learn more about your travels. at one point, some regulars sit beside the both of you & politely tune in. the talk extends into the night ... one key thing you notice is that when you chime in with a rather blunt joke, no one laughs ... except when zhongli suddenly barks out a laugh, clearly a fan of your humor. judging by the reactions of the other tavern-goers, a laugh like this is rare. their faces are quite shocked. it's obvious he's laughing with you & not at you. it gets you a little flustered, but not in a negative way.

the two of you talk into the late hours of the night; long after everyone has left & third round knockout has closed. when the people on the street become fewer & fewer, you both realize it's time to go.

"allow me to walk you back in exchange for your wonderful company tonight, sen," zhongli would insist. & he does walk you back to the inn !! ... for reasons tooootttaaaallllyyyy unrelated, you decide to stay in liyue for a while longer.

what follows is you spending more & more time with zhongli. you take walks amongst liyue's breathtaking nature & solve ancient puzzles out in the wild; not so much for the treasure, but for the intellectual challenge your brilliant minds can team up for. whenever you feel that infamous sensation of burnout, you'll both sit in comfortable silence & enjoy the views ... yes, views ... zhongli is a very hot guy, after all.

he certainly finds you attractive, too. he has a faint blush on his cheeks whenever you're around. hu tao, who you meet in passing due to them being co-workers, is quick to point this out to you when he isn't looking with a wink & a nudge.

zhongli never expected to feel such a way for a mortal, & yet his heart races every time he thinks of you. he adores your focused expression when you speak with him about your research, or the passion in your eyes when you speak about your musical theater days.

on that fateful day when he approaches you with a bouquet of qingxins behind his back & a tender murmur of "sen..." —

KI X KANATA SHINKAI HEADCANONS 

Due to the collaboration between RYUSEITAI & MagiX, Kanata Shinkai grows much closer with Ki after their encounter at the fountain. During practice, they tend to gravitate towards each other… & it’s not just because they’re partners. Glances are exchanged when they’re not side by side. Though one might expect Kanata to look away shyly whenever their eyes meet – when they glance at the exact same time – he smiles warmly at cloud. It’s a look he doesn’t give anyone else. The expression on his face is reserved for Ki. Only Ki !! When practice for the collaboration is about to begin, Kanata makes sure to greet cloud with sunny enthusiasm as soon as cloud arrives. He doesn’t want anyone else sitting beside Ki, so he will take the only seat beside her. If anyone ever manages to take the seat beside the MagiX idol before he can, he’ll make an obvious fuss about it by pouting with his soft lower lip sticking out. Inside, he feels this internal fury that someone else would dare take the spot next to Ki before he can. Why does he feel so intensely jealous ?? All members of RYUSEITAI know better than to sit beside Ki because of how clingy Kanata is with her. That clinginess only intensifies as the duo gets closer & the days go by. Whoever makes the mistake of sitting beside the gyaru idol will be moving rather quickly after seeing the deep pout on RYUSEI Blue’s face.

Even after the collaboration ends, Ki & Kanata become inseparable. Since Kanata is an avid lover of the ocean, he asks to take her to the beach on a day where she isn’t on a lifeguard shift. The day is full of fun in the sun & puka pukas, but Kanata realizes his mistake not long after they arrive. Though they’re busy playing in the waves together, fans of MagiX squeal & jump around like rabbits upon recognizing Ki. They know about Kanata too, but they’re far more excited about his fellow idol. They ask for pictures & autographs much to Kanata’s dismay. He realizes that he just… REALLY doesn’t want to share Ki. Not with anyone. He wants cloud all to himself. Between moments where fans approach them, they’re thankfully able to spend some quality time together as the sun slowly sets in the sky. Kanata makes up for the irritation he felt when Ki was repeatedly interacting with fans by holding hands with her while walking along the edges of the waves & sculpting sandcastles. They decide to make beach days a “thing” that they do whenever they have free time. Kanata walks the MagiX idol back to her dorm & skips to his own after. Since neither Rinne Amagi nor Hiyori Tomoe are home, he’s able to do some critical thinking in peace.

After doing some deep thinking, Kanata realizes that the word “attached” can’t even hold a candle to how clingy he is with Ki. The second he awakens, he checks to see if cloud has messaged him. If cloud hasn’t, he’ll message first. He’ll send cute emojis, pictures, & videos of sea creatures that he thinks Ki will like. Kanata can’t bear someone else sitting next to her, either. If someone is sitting too close to the beautiful idol, he’ll pull her into his lap & ask if it’s okay to hold her like that. Sometimes, he’ll end up narrowing his eyes at the person who attempted to be close to Ki. Whenever cloud gets a message from someone on Hold-Hands, Kanata can’t help but peek at cloud reaction. If Ki smiles or even giggles, he’ll feel his stomach drop seconds after. Who else could be making his angelfish smile & laugh like that ?? Who are they ?? When this happens, Kanata instantly pouts; her attention is quickly stolen by him. Thinking about all of these situations alone in his dorm makes Kanata realize that he truly wishes to be glued to Ki 24/7. No one else makes him feel the way she does. He can tell that he’s fallen in love with Ki, but he isn’t ready to tell her just yet. For now… he’ll continue to keep cloud by his side whenever possible for as long as possible.

Due to RYUSEI Blue wanting to spend all of his time with Ki, they’re often visiting each other’s dorms. They watch various movies & cuddle as long as both are in the mood for it. They could fool anyone into thinking they’re glued together at the hip. When they’re watching movies, Kanata often finds himself watching Ki’s reactions & expressions rather than the screen. He’s very affectionate in physical terms; he’ll cuddle, lean on cloud, put an arm around cloud, or put his head in cloud lap; he always makes sure Ki is okay with it first. Holding his fellow idol allows him to feel the same comfort that being soaked in water does. Kanata never thought anything could compare to the feeling of the fountain water crashing down over his head, but Ki seems to defy all of the odds without fail. Sometimes after their movies, the two will head down to the fountain so Kanata can sit in it. While he’s floating amongst the ripples, Ki will occasionally sing to him in a soft voice from where she sits on the edge. He’ll applaud his seastar after every song with a relaxed & joyous expression.

RYUSEITAI practices often since they’re usually quite busy with new events being planned left & right. The worst part of it all is that Kanata is unable to see his angelfish when practice is scheduled. His solution ?? The performer invites Ki to every single practice. She can’t always visit since she has two jobs, competitive swimming & water polo, & idol work with MagiX. When cloud is able to come, cloud has various activities cloud can do while RYUSEITAI practices. Whenever Ki isn’t watching Kanata practice with fond eyes, she’s usually rewatching her favorite anime on her phone. She doesn’t want to watch a new anime for two reasons: starting an anime with her merman is far more fun & she would miss a lot of important scenes when she gets distracted by Kanata. If the busy idol isn’t watching anime or her favorite hero, she’s working on concepts for MagiX. Kanata often looks over at Ki to check on cloud & smile lovingly.

It’s on a special night at the aquarium RYUSEI Blue works at when the magic of their love finally happens. He’d closed it off to the public early so he could have Ki to himself for the romantic confession of a lifetime. He takes her hand in his & pulls her along to the dark section of the aquarium. Even when the MagiX idol asks where they’re going, Kanata doesn’t speak until he stops in front of the Aequorea victoria exhibit, also known as crystal jellies. They’re bioluminescent hydrozoan jellyfish, so their mesmerizing glow coming from behind the thick glass lights up their faces. It’s in that very spot that Kanata confesses his love to Ki while holding both of her hands. He tells cloud how he can’t stand to see cloud with anyone else. That even the thought of someone else making Ki smile makes him upset & angry. Though surprised & blushing profusely, she returns the feelings. They share a soft & chaste kiss that fateful night !!

Now that Kanata & Ki are officially a couple – no one is surprised – they spend even more time together. MagiX & RYUSEITAI hold a couple more collaborations together, too. Kanata is constantly holding his partner’s hand every chance he gets. If their hands are not joined, then the blue hero’s arm is around Ki’s shoulders or waist. They go on many dates together; since Kanata knows almost everything about Ki, he most certainly knows that squid curry is cloud favorite food. He takes her to eat squid curry whenever she’s craving it. He enjoys spoiling the competitive swimmer every chance he gets.

If anyone ever flirts with Ki, RYUSEI Blue is quickly on the case to shut it down before the unfortunate person can even finish talking. He’s usually stitched to her side, after all. He’ll slip an arm around his partner & tell them that cloud is very happily taken with a pout that looks more like… a frown. Not to mention a malevolent glare that looks like it doesn’t fit on Kanata’s sweet face. At all. The person attempting to flirt always gets the message in an instant. Ki is quick to calm down her boyfriend’s possessiveness by holding his face with caring hands. Cloud always knows how to keep Kanata in the moment & relaxed.

Without fail, Kanata shows up to every MagiX performance no matter where or when it is; he will cancel plans for their performances. He’s always right up front with a cute sign for Ki. The sign changes every time; the RYUSEITAI juniors usually help him decorate it with new designs. After the inevitable encore, security guides him backstage. He doesn’t hesitate to pull Ki into a warm hug & forehead kiss. As soon as the hug begins, Kanata is holding on to cloud until the very end of the night.

Ki’s time spent working as a lifeguard is not a lonesome one. Kanata is often there to make sure she’s safe from his spot amongst the shallow waves where he puka pukas to his hearts content. It’s not the same when his partner isn’t able to puka puka along with him, but at least cloud isn’t far. If anyone approaches Ki, Kanata immediately goes silent & hurries across the stand to her station. That unnaturally threatening expression is quick to find itself on Kanata’s face as he scares them away with a side of him that is not often shown. Well – if it’s someone attempting to flirt, it’s that dangerous expression. if not, the oceanic hero pouts instead. Ki invites him to climb up the ladder & sit with cloud every time he gets worked up like that.

the dynamic you two would have probably starts off as no-filter-central. koga typically says what he means & doesn’t sugarcoat anything he says. he still manages to be polite of course, but that’s a point where the two of you can connect.

since you said you tend to be a bit clumsy, we’ll say you met koga under slightly awkward circumstances. you tripped over his empty guitar case, & though he caught you before you could faceplant onto the ground, he lowkey chews you out. you barely know each other, but he definitely seems to be giving you some grief for that little slip-up. since you’re overly disciplined, you simply apologize; but you don’t hesitate to point out that he shouldn’t have left his guitar case in the walkway of the practice room.

koga is embarrassed because you’re right & he was the one who should’ve been more careful. he apologizes for that; something tells you that the little lecture came from a place of concern. he didn’t want anything to happen to you. despite being so rowdy & rough on the outside, koga’s a soft guy on the inside. after that little encounter, you both see each other more often. perhaps after that meeting, it’s much easier to spot him in a crowd or in random spots on campus. without realizing it, you both start waving to each other when your eyes meet. hanging out comes naturally after a few of those interactions.

undead’s very own lone wolf enjoys light-heartedly teasing you about your clumsiness ( but he still takes care of you when you are clumsy ). he likes to remind you of how you both met, so it seems like he’ll never let you live that down; even though it was his fault you tripped !! despite not being childhood friends, you definitely have that dynamic going after a while. over time, koga really starts to care more & more about you. when your legs give out or you are feeling tired, he’ll offer to carry you. he likes to make sure you’re alright because he now knows that you struggle with health problems. even though he teases you with his own no-filter ways, he cares so much at the end of the day. as more time passes, he cares for you more & more. past the friendzone, actually. his unitmates give him advice on his little crush on you.

you notice that koga stares at you fondly whenever you show him digital art you have worked on rather than the projects. you tease him about it, but it makes you a little flustered. it seems like he’d rather admire you instead !! the same goes for when you show him fashion outfits you’ve put together. his cheeks bloom with crimson & his voice is a little higher in pitch. he even makes an attempt to get closer to cats even though he prefers dogs + wolves. he just wants to be closer with you.

koga makes his move by confessing to you that he’s much clumsier since he fell for you. it’s a pretty smooth line !! & pretty cheesy… but still charming. it’s pretty obvious who helped him with that one.

hiiro is a very kind & open-minded young man who would have no problem becoming your friend right off the bat. he wouldn't find you weird at all !! he likes to learn, so i imagine you both meet when tutoring some other idols your age with their schoolwork. he's eager to learn, & he's easy to work with since he understands your method of tutoring. you don't realize he considers you a friend until he tells you as much after a study session. hiiro tells you that he enjoys spending time with you & receving book reccomendations. he tell you that not a single book you've reccomended has been boring to him & that he's lucky to have a friend like you.

the alkaloid leader picks up on your boredness when running into you outside of a tutoring session one evening. he remembers that you told him you enjoy video games, so you introduce him to several games you like per his request. you both develop this habit of playing video games together after working on schoolwork if he doesn't have plans with alkaloid. those moments together allow the both of you to grow much closer !! it wasn't too present before, but the more time you spend together, the more you grow nervous in a good way to be in hiiro's presence. i'm talkin' butterflies. you think he feels the same way because of the redness that matches the hair on his cheeks whenever you tell him that you're grateful for the time you spend together.

it's hard to hold hands while playing video games, so hiiro starts placing his hand on top of yours during tutoring sessions whenever you're comfortable with it. he may or may not have received advice on romantic crushes from aira shiratori. through various hobbies, you become nearly inseperable because of how enamored hiiro is with you; he doesn't think a single negative thought about you. when you two start dating out of the blue because of a heartfelt confession from hiiro, everyone is happy for the both of you. your relationship is comfortable & full of pure love !!

i think the both of you would be able to connect deeply on the front of not wanting others to perceive you in a weird way. you both don't want to come across as creepy for different reasons. as for chongyun, it's mostly because he's associated with the act of exorcising evil spirits.

for the purpose of story, let's say you live in liyue. you made unlikely friends with xiangling a while ago & she notices the two of you had quite a few similarities over time. the chef figured you two would get along swimmingly, & that you did !! you were able to connect about several things since you both fear that people find you creepy. because of that, you will both reassure one another since you Understand that struggle. chongyun grows quite attached to you since you are the one who understands him best besides his best friend & aunt. he spends a lot of time with you.

you've offered him book reccomendations on books about spirits & he always thanks you profusely, reading them from cover to cover rather quickly. he ends up pulling you further into the friend group composed of xiangling, xingqiu, & himself. xiangling points out how chongyun seems to treat you differently than he treats his friends. that's where it all starts, because apparently xingqiu is giving chongyun romantic advice from the best romance novels he has read so far.

the exorcist ends up asking you on a sweet date to eat amongst the qingxin flowers in the mountains. you cook a meal for a picnic with him in chef mao's kitchen with xiangling's aide. she's the best at hyping you up !! you both enjoy the food with the sunset & breathtaking view ahead. that won't be the last time the two of you share a pleasant date like that !!

Here I am to help your blog! Hehehe...hi, my name's Iris. I'm an adult, but I'm chirpy and weird. Despite being an adult, I act much like a child at times, finding ways to make work fun, making weird noises and other stuff to make myself or others laugh.

I have a hard time getting social cues: I usually miss it a lot but do my best to watch for those cues.

I don't like it when people yell at me (makes me close to crying) I also don't like it when we have a scheduled time of leaving or something and suddenly it changes.

I like to sleep and dream; listen to music, play games, draw, and many more.

Buuuut, I can easily get overwhelmed witj many people, and despite my chirpiness, I have a bit of a low social battery so I just shut down.

I suffer from depression and generalized anxiety disorder- I am also super picky about food textures and clothing textures. If something isn't right, I won't eat or wear it. But I do my best to if it's a gift or something-

who better to be silly with than arataki numero uno itto himself ?! you both have a tendency to act like kids, but that's not a bad thing; it just means you have more fun than others do. despite both of you being adults, you're able to have fun as if time is non-existent & you're both forever young together.

for sake of story, let's say you're living in inazuma city. whether you have temporary residence or you permanently live there is up to you. if you live in inazuma city, you're bound to run into the famed arataki itto at some point. he's pretty hard to miss when he's usually causing such a ruckus !! the first time you meet, he's running at you frantically. it's all because of the ambitious little onikabuto skittering your way. you squeak as you do when startled.

it halts at your feet & stays there since it seems to like you. itto has since skidded to a stop & calmly walked up to you since he's just... in shock. he's never seen one of his onikabuto run up to a complete stranger like this before.

a little sheepish, he introduces himself to you as the one & oni, doing his very best to impress you since you have energy that onikabutos seem to like. you two hit it off pretty quickly, actually. you have a lot in common & simply vibe together since you have similar mannerisms. as the night goes on, you both become a lovable duo of huge dorks. you don't really get why people are so wary of him; he's a sweetheart just like you.

you make an immediate friend in that goofy oni, so you hang out quite often. he understands that you have anxiety, so he'll always make sure to check on you when you seem to be feeling anxious. whenever you're in need of defending or feel shy. you can always stand behind him; he'll puff that muscular chest out & keep you safe !!

since you like games, itto introduces you to genius invocation tcg, onikabuto battles, & more. whenever you play these games with him or the gang, the night is full of endless fun. speaking of the arataki gang, he ends up inviting you to join it. he's blushing a little when he does. it isn't until the gang members themselves point out that itto likes you in a non-platonic way that it all clicks for him.

you continue to hang out with him as usual, but the moments feel more tender. there's shy glances from not just your end, but itto's as well. blushing cheeks, hands brushing together, flirtatious laughter. it isn't long before you both become something more than friends thanks to the gang being itto's wing-people. when they hear the news, they support you both fully & sigh with relief that you both FINALLY got together !!

as soon as i read that you tend to keep to yourself & have a hard time opening up most of the time, i knew kaeya would be the man to want to genuinely understand all of you. he would try to get a read on you on numerous occassions. you capture his curiousity.

let's say you were in mondstadt for personal reasons that are entirely up to you. maybe you swing by the tavern to get to know some of the locals, but you don't go inside since you cannot legally drink just yet. kaeya would instantly notice the new face seated outside of the tavern chatting with passersbys.

he'd sit across from you in an empty seat with a polite "may i?" & instantly introduce himself. he catches the vibe of your somewhat secretiveness right away. he's pretty secretive himself. he'd make sure to remain friendly & talk in his low, soothing voice in case you're feeling anxious. a new city can be quite overwhelming, after all. he'd ask if you're settling in well & you both would hit it off pretty quickly. he forgets all about going inside of the tavern for an after work drink. he's far more interested in you.

every time you throw out a hint, he takes the bait. kaeya admits that you're the most interesting person he's spoken to all week. says that luck must be on his side for him to cross paths with you. the air between you is filled with warm laughter. he respects that you don't open up very easily since he is the same way. he doesn't pressure you.

once every single star is out in that night sky, kaeya walks you to your hotel room & bids you farewell. he's already excited to cross paths with you again. the cavalry captain hasn't felt excitement like this in far too long. for the duration of your trip, he makes an effort to cross paths with you & make sure you're doing alright. he is a gentleman, after all.

even though your time in mondstadt is not permanent, you see each other almost every day. when the time comes for you to leave, you take one of kaeya's hands & place a trinket of your choice into his hand with a promise to write. he keeps his hold on your hand as he gives you a deep bow of respect, letting you know that he greatly anticipates the day he receives the first letter. should you be alright with it, he even places a featherlight yet romantic kiss to the back of your hand.

Haii haii.... I'm a minor who uses he/they Pronouns,, + I am so horribly awkward irl and people kinda mistake me on being on a bad mood/angry (because sometimes I squint my eyes because I cannot fucking see clearly bc I think I got the wrong prescription of my glasses!! And to add along with it, it furrows my eyebrow, and because of my "resting bitch face") but in reality I'm not I swear!! I lack friends but more on having acquaintances,,,, and I try to be nice in every social interaction(in the end the conversation won't last a minute) but uh I try to "look" or "act" more kind because I don't want my younger brother to start copying me like mom is gonna blame my fuckin ass if they turn out to be a little shithead delinquent, so yeah I guess I'm nicer to kids, even tho some of them are scared of me because of me being too nice with them or acting like I'm their older sibling!! But I swear I'm nice and respectful, sometimes annoying and clingy to my acquaintances? (I am backing off from them rn bc they might find me too annoying) and also to my older sibling, in online I'm the same but more social and like... I have 2 friends online, I'm a silly lad who roams around the internet either on tt, ao3, discord, or tumblr, and twitter, and of course I cannot forget about the slow self esteem!! FOR ENSEMBLE STARS : KOHAKU OUKAWA !!

i think the both of you would instantly get along very well. & it's only uphill from there !! as you said above, you're often mistaken for being in a bad mood. however, i think kohaku would be able to see through that & sense your true kindess right off the bat. he's very intelligent & good at reading people. that awkwardness you mentioned probably wouldn't even apply since he instantly feels more at ease around you compared to his unitmates.

if you were a part of the staff working with the younger idols in training, i have a feeling you would eventually run into kohaku. after you keep meeting, you'd eventually get to know each other better & even become friends !! since he has older sisters & you are an older sibling in your family, you'd be able to level with each other about family matters. you can share the struggles, exchange tips, & swap points of view. before you even realize it, you both start looking forward to spending time together.

kohaku starts helping you out with the young future idols when he's not working with his units, crazy:b & double face. he sees the way the younger teens are wary with you because of your older sibling vibes, but he's quick to defend you. kohaku is in a very crazy ( pun intended ) unit, but with you, his silly side comes out for reasons unrelated to work. he talks about how he doesn't quite understand how you don't have more friends considering how kind of a person you are. kohaku enthuses about how much he enjoys your company, that he's able to enjoy being himself with you. along those same lines, he's quick to pick up on your struggles with self esteem. that's why he always compliments you when he gets the chance. he points out your efforts to be kind, the way you take care of the idols in training, & how much respect you show to those around you.

after working with the young teens, you both have a habit of hanging out in the practice room once they all leave. you typically end up showing kohaku silly videos you've found on various platforms on your phone. the more this happens, the closer you'll sit together. eventually, you have an unspoken thing of holding hands while scrolling through the videos you wanted to see kohaku's reactions to in person. you showed him discord & he made an account; you obviously became friends on there. you might send him goofy memes on there whenever you're not together.

HOWEVER !! the unspoken thing becomes obvious when kohaku gives you a parting kiss on the cheek one evening after practice. the rest is history !!

FOR GENSHIN IMPACT : BENNETT !!

i can think of no one other than mondstadt's coolest adventurer ever !! similarly to kohaku above, i think even an accidental "angry" face could not deterr him from befriending you almost instantly. he struggles with making friends because of his unfortunate bad luck streak, so he'd see becoming friends with you as a rare yet welcome instance of good luck !! perhaps you're also a part of the adventurer's guild ─ that could be how you both meet.

i think you'd both have a wonderful time adventuring with one another. since you are respectful, you wouldn't make fun of him for having a hard time with luck. you bond over reasons why it's difficult to make friends. him with his notorious bad luck, you with being misunderstood as someone with a temper. i think you both would be friends for at least a year before he starts realizing that his feelings may not be platonic anymore.

it's when he watches you tell the younger kids who dream of being adventurers themselves stories about your quests that he realizes he likes you !! you both often watch over the kiddos together after a long day of adventuring, so story time happens often. but there's something speial about that day.

bennett thinks about how he loves the way you don't judge him & how he deeply enjoys being your number one cheerleader. as the kids go home, he spends the rest of his time with you beneath the golden sunset telling you exactly how he feels.
