Ah my darling dears, do you ever just feel the tomorrows draining away? I have said “I’ll do it tomorrow” so many times that it has started to loose meaning.

Okay but Bruce has to, at least on some level, enjoy being himbo/dumbass Brucie. He surely must. I know he’s often portrayed as really serious and solemn most of the time, especially as Batman, but I think he just really loves messing with people and trying to figure out the absolute most ridiculous thing he could do in any given scenario. To get to the point where the entire world and all the brilliant people in it is CONVINCED that Bruce Wayne could not possibly be Batman he must be constantly in character as a well-meaning buffoon. And I think he finds it hilarious. Brucie time is ridiculous and restorative. He gets to set aside the horrors and the darkness and the storm-clouds and just make everyone within a 50ft radius facepalm by changing the entire Wayne Enterprise electronic system to the language of Isthmus Zapotec or demanding everyone on staff get paid puppy breaks. I just think that he’s gotta.

So I’m reading the Stormlight Archive, just about halfway through Words of Radiance. WOW ITS THE BEST THING!! Very much enjoying the series! One thing that is a absolute hilarious to me though is the about of slamming into things that Kaladin has done this book😂

Anyway just for fun here’s

1. Kaladin’s first attempt to run on walls as I remember it lol

2. When Kal gets angry and goes to attack Adolin during the shardblade practice for Renarin. He shakes it off no worries

3. Kaladin’s fear of horses is very amusing to me. Also I feel like the dynamic between Adolin and Kal is so perfect.

Adolin: ha I bet you cant!

Kaladin: *immediately does it in spite*

Some ROUGH Star Wars doodles just to practice, including Anakin (my beloved), Padme (my queen), Obi-Wan and Ahsoka (also favorites). Also a little random mando who just happened I guess lol. Anakin’s fluffy hair is very important to me as a concept

i had this experience around 2021, but it wasn’t until this month that i felt the Holy Spirit suddenly prompting me to make it. 

Jesus doesn’t want you to carry the guilt of your past or the pain and despair of your circumstances alone. He has taken our pain and our sin upon Himself so that we can be free through Him (Isaiah 53:5). When we ask for forgiveness, He wipes our record clean and never thinks of it again (Isaiah 44:22). By accepting the sacrifice He made in our place and putting our faith in Him, we’re adopted into His Heavenly family (John 1:12) (Romans 8:15-16)

think of that! God created you in all your talents, flaws, and unique self, and said, “This one, this is the one I love. I would die for them. And I have, so they can choose to live and love with Me forever.” His return is fast approaching, and His arms are wide open to embrace you. He’s there for the hurting, He’s there for the lonely. He’s working in ways both seen and unseen, and He is able and willing to lift the burden from your shoulders (Matthew 11:28-30).

“For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

Jason (vacantly, a fog over his eyes) (watching Bruce be cold and distant towards Tim and Damian): I can’t… It wasn’t like this… What happened to him? He wasn’t like this…

(Memories of laughter on patrol, an encouraging hand on the shoulder, a kind word, Bruce holding Jason after a nightmare, Dick swinging by for time together, and always so full of Bruce and Jason smiling)

Dick: You died, little wing…

Idk I was just thinking about how Bruce really would have changed so much in the wake of Jason’s death. Where before he was affectionate and encouraging I think the trauma would really cause him to close off. Because he really was such a good dad to Jason.

So Jason comes back and everything happens and even after some resolution he still does not feel all the way there. Yet he sees Bruce and knows that something is so so wrong. That he isn’t being the dad that he is/was/could be. And Dick is the one who can understand him in this because he lost a dad and a brother at the same time.

This might be the start of something bigger, it might not. I am a sucker for a happy ending and I really just want some healing and love. We’ll see I guess.
