SO FRICKIN ART PROGRAM

decided to end its free trial. i didn't know i was ON a free trial so I’m going back to good old GIMP which I’m much more used to, but it doesn't take as well to tablet drawing and doesn't have a watercolor tool so expect some changes in the ‘just barely started’ comic Jesus

i think its about time

i tell you guys what ‘cant see straight’ is actually about Simon Thompson is a freshman in high school, a place where people are just learning how to discover who they are as a person. Simon finds himself in need of new glasses and wanders into a very strange, old, and offputting glasses shop. after obtaining his new glasses he finds that anyone who is absolutely straight goes invisible when he wears his glasses. and everyone that he can see seems to be surrounded with vivid colors that would would somewhat explain their sexuality. an aura that somehow knows who they are before they do. it becomes simon’s job to help these people come to terms with who they really are. some situations are a lot harder than others, and there are quite a few twists along the way.  I really hope you guys like my idea and watch as i evolve it.

i know just started but because of the holidays and convention right around the corner  wont be working on an update until around the 10th might take me a week from there to finish and post. but more soon.

Trust me

I have an actual story idea going, it might take a while to get to the actual plot but i want this comic to have a lot of fluff and a lot of emotions, A LOT OF GAYYYSSS, this is going to be based mostly around the lgbt+ community, i want to be very inclusive i want to have many examples of as many different kinds of attraction as i can muster. i want there to be real life problems with real life solutions. I want there to be a beautiful story of self discovery in high school, of being yourself, of being accepted, even if its just by one person, you are still accepted and cared for.

This is going to be a long journey and hopefully i can portray this how i want it to be seen but for now, my name is jayson and all i can do is give you update one.

ive said before. im not the best artist especially when it comes to still pictures that are suppose to represent motion. my comics can sometimes down in quality really quickly so sorry. ill try.

Courtney

Courtney is Simon’s mother, she is a single mother who has two jobs to keep them in their one bedroom apartment. she works as a waitress and grocery store cashier. Simon doesn't always get to see her. she is often overworked but tries to be there for Simon since his father left, she can be quite bubbly and excited if shes actually awake but tends to be pretty scatterbrained from stress. she loves coffee and hates big cooperates and cubical jobs. she married Simon's father right out of high school and had Simon when she was 22, making her 37 now. she loves art but doesn't really have the time or energy to draw anymore, she likes to bake and will sometimes make a cake mix if she has time. she loves their cat speckles, she rescued him from a shelter for Simon but it was also kind of a gift for herself too.

Cassandra

Cassandra goes by either Cassie or Cas from close friends. Cas used to live in the same apartment building as Sim before sim and his mom had to move buildings. Cassandra has come to the conclusion that she is asexual and aromantic. she is also a freshman in high school along with Sim, they both love mystery novels and Cassie wants to be an author in the future. she has a group of friends but chooses to spend her time with Sim because he doesn't like to really hang out with anyone else. Cassandra is such a fangirl, she spends most of her time on tumblr and watches a lot of anime she wants to see Sim get into a relationship, the idea of simon in someone else’s arms is really cute to her and she wants to see him happy. Cassandra’s home life is quite normal with her mom and dad mr and mrs towns who try to be there for Cassie in whatever way they can be. although, they doesn't really understand what she means by “being asexual’ but they really do try. Cas dislikes dogs, Justin Bieber and ignorent people who refuse to admit they’re wrong.

Simon

Simon goes by Sim because he doesn't like his full name. He's a bit of a loner, well more of an observer, he's very quiet a lot of the time and he's really good at listening, he wants to be a psych major when he gets to college but for right now he's just a freshman in high school I plan on the surroundings to be some sort of big city, new York most likely. I'm very lazy so I'm going to avoid things like street and address names so i don't have to look up if these places are actually real. Sim lives with his mom, Courtney, and a cat named speckles. (Calico) in a one bedroom apartment. His mother works two jobs and Sim is totally fine sleeping on the couch. His best friend is a girl named Cassie whom is a childhood friend of his. But other than her, he doesn't really hang out with anyone else. Sim enjoys reading, especially mystery novels, playing with his cat, and gardening. He dislikes talking to people he doesn't know, bullies, and spiders Sim is the maid character and there are going to be a lot of interesting things happening to this 15 year old boy.
