So I had a break from tumblr for a while but now I'm back, I don't know if I'll regularly be online but I'm here now. So a few updates on my life. My new meds seem to be working. I feel good. I feel stable. I'm seeing a guy I'm not sure if it will go anywhere but I'm excited to see if it does. I've changed my hair colour, and started to have a better outlook on life :)

Today

Today was never going to be a good day. So instead I made it a distracting one. We went out last night, I stayed up watching crap on tv until meg got up. Then we went to McDonald's for food. After that I went home and slept until 7pm, meg had finished work then so I went back to hers and watched more rubbish on tv with her and a few mates. So although the today could never be a good day, it was a manageable day.

At a time when I think I should be everywhere I feel so stable happy and secure this is such a weird feeling but I'm embracing it. Feel like everything has just started looking up. Sometimes it takes everything to break down around you to realise everything will be ok.. Strange huh?

Do you think they'll put you up?

Depends if this dose works or not, have an appointment with gp in two weeks to see how it's going.. Am having an assessment with the mental health nurse soon too to discuss the best therapy/treatment options for me.

What dosage are you on now then?

15mg - it's the starting dose so we're seeing how it goes :) started it two days ago

sorry if this is a bit personal but i saw you were on sertraline but they've changed it, is this because it wasn't working? as i've been on it now for 5 months and i've had my dosage upped twice and its doing nothing?

It's cool, so first they put me on sertraline and it wasn't doing anything so they kept upping it until 150mg and that was working a bit but then it sort of just stopped working as well and my sleep was completely fucked. So I spoke to my therapist and my gp and they've changed them to mirtazapine only been on it for 2 days but my sleep is amazing I'm falling asleep like 30mins after taking it. When I was on the sertraline it would take me hours to fall asleep..

Was on sertraline but they've just taken me off of those and put me on mirtazapine :)
