Just something that was stuck in my head that I wanted to animate. I don’t think I’ll continue anymore on it though. It was good practice animating someone moving in perspective.

Artists are not Doormats
The title speaks for itself, and this is not to be used as an attack on others. This is more of an encouragement to artists out there who might feel overwhelmed or feeling pressure from clients.
You, as an artist, have the capability to provide the terms with a client, as well as have them understand your conditions for the project. There are clients who consider ‘art’ as a fun thing to do, instead of a skill and trade that takes practice and time to do. It is not fair for you to bend at every whim to where you are not compensated exactly for your efforts.
This does, now, require you (the artist) to provide all details before the project starts, so that the client does not try to work around your terms. You do have skills they desire, and you do have what it takes to complete the project. Never feel that you have to settle so low that you are not respecting yourself. If the client(s) do not want to honor your requests, see if a compromise could be made, or keep searching. There will be someone who will meet your expectations. You are not a doormat, you are an artist. Most importantly, you are a person. Continue to be strong and be motivated in your skills.

Pixel portrait, like those on character selection screens. The character is none in particular, got a bit inspired by my own recent haircut. XD

Commission to support the female link jam! Dawn and Link having a blast.  Link is obviously winning. Dawn is the protagonist of the in development game called Araka.
