Disclaimer!: Obviously now, everyone has beliefs. It doesn’t mean they’ll push it onto people, but some people do. That said, on with the post.
I don’t think it really gets recognised enough that some radical Christian commenting something along the lines of, “You need Jesus!” is basically the same as some wise-guy atheist saying, “Lol you know that’s not real right?”
There, that’s my one post for the month lol

What am I meant to do with pagan celebrations in the Southern Hemisphere? Do I celebrate Ostara instead of Mabon? Do I reverse the calendar or just go with it?

In the span of a 15 minute conversation, my school counselor:
-Told me she had “extensive knowledge” on being LGBTQ+ because 25 years ago she was roommates with “a gay and a trans” (not sure if they were 2 different people or a queer trans person)
-Asked if I preferred to be called Aiden
-Told me she wasn’t able to because of parents, even in PRIVATE 1 ON 1 CONVERSATION
-Proceeded to call me my dead name approximately 7 times in the next 7 minutes

Witches reblog if:
Since being a witch you’ve ever doubted that magic is real
Since being a witch you doubt whether your spells will actually work
Since being a witch you’ve ever had trouble believing in energy, spirits, fae or anything else that you can’t see and that there isn’t physical, scientific proof of
This post is being made because some people think that being sceptical makes you less of a witch or somehow makes you a fake witch, so I want to make a point of how many witches are part-time or full-time sceptics but still continue to practice regardless

MAGIC FROG TOY?
So I have textiles class this semester
and we have to make a gift for our friend
so my idea is to make a little frog plushie, but make it magic.
Like, sew sigils, put crystals and herbs in it along with the stuffing. But then I thought: Huh, I should check something. Is that cultural appropriation? I don’t think it is. I would just be putting some calming spell in a frog toy, but always best to check.
So, if there are any closed practices that I’d be stealing from, please inform me.
Thank you! Blessed be <3

Okay so I’m not the regular “Move into a cottage at the edge of the woods raise goats sheep and cows bake bread and be sweet” cottagecore
But I’m also not the “Collect bones in the forest and eventually rot there” of goblincore
I’m more in the middle with “run away to the woods with my wife, our son, 15 cats and 3 dogs and give an abandoned cottage a makeover do witchcraft and become a local ghost story, then my wife and I rot in a field together when our son is grown up and moves to England to be with his significant other and become a historian”. So what do you call that? It’s like cottagecore but I want to scare people and become a ghost story

A dead crow
I went on a walk today to clear my head, get some exercise and all that jazz
But as I was walking past the train line, I saw a dead crow. No head, didn’t smell, just the hollow outside with feathers. It was hung up on a loop of barbed wire. I’m a little worried. It’s not that I got bad vibes, but that I feel like I was meant to see that. It wasn’t gory, there were no guts, but it was..hollow? Like, just the sides of its body? If I go back and take a picture tomorrow I’ll reblog, because it was super weird.
Strange, but when I passed it the first time, I was slightly horrified, and as I was walking back, I was kind of dreading coming back up to it, but felt weirdly calm and content when I saw it??
But just wondering if anyone knows what this could mean? Is it an omen? Should I be worried?

I PASSED TO A STRANGER
So I’m totally in the closet. No binders, t, surgery, nothing. I just have short hair, a deep voice for a female (I use the terms male and female for sex) and wear baggy clothes.
Well today, wearing straight jeans and an oversized hoodie even though it was too warm and a corona mask payed off!
I wanted to get out of the house so I went with my mum and my little sister who’s about 10 to get her hair cut. That all went okay, until we had to go shopping for groceries. My little sister has autism, and started having a meltdown because she couldn’t understand why she wasn’t allowed this $100 lego set. She ran off and got all the way out to the carpark, and I caught up behind her.
Well I was wrestling with her (and my tears) for about 20 minutes in the car park, trying to stop her from running off into a nearby field. I swear there was one guy watching with popcorn in his car.
Anyways, eventually a lady I didn’t know came up to me and saw what was going on. She explained she had a brother on the spectrum, and helped my sister to calm down a bit.
Then she asked her “Is that your BROTHER?”
I was still very stressed from having to wrangle the gremlin, but I felt super happy just because of that comment. I had to use all my willpower to not overshare and gush about how much that simple question meant to me.
Weird way for it to happen, but hey! It happened!
Thanks for reading lol
Blessed be <3
P.S.
Yes we got back to my mum and got home safely

Meditation tip!
Okay, so I’ve found that if I want to visualise a protective bubble when I’m stressed, it can be kind of tricky to do. I’ve discovered that covering myself with a soft blanket and using that to guide my visual is really useful
Hope this helps
Blessed be :)
