The Sims Legacy Collection (2025)

It's such a shame that EA released both The Sims 1 & 2 Legacy Collection in the states that they are. It seems like all they did was enable native compatibility for Windows 10/11 and called it a day...

Kingdom Come Deliverance II (2025)

Kingdom Come 2 was released yesterday! Have you been playing it? I hear it's quite a big improvement over the first.

I know the team have already announced that they've sold over one million copies, which is absolutely crazy! Congrats to them!!

Hogwarts Legacy (2023)

Warner Bros has officially announced modding support for the PC version of Hogwarts Legacy! It'll be arriving on January 30th with a patch that introduces an in-game mod menu.

It might finally be time for me to jump in and give the game a go! I've always wanted to but genuinely never had the time lol. Especially since there will be some mods on launch ready to go for all players!

Resident Evil Zero (2002)

According to rumours, Resident Evil Zero is one of the next games in the franchise to be getting the remake treatment!

There are apparently three projects currently in development at Capcom for Resident Evil - this one, a remake for Code: Veronica and RE9. With how good the recent remakes have been, it could be cool to go back to Zero and see it in some new glory!

Remember, take rumours with a pinch of salt!

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (2024)

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has been out on Steam for a few days now. Had you been playing it over the weekend? It's currently sitting at Mostly Positive reviews.

I'll be honest in saying that the only Final Fantasy I've experienced is about two hours of XV... I've always semi-wanted to give it a go because the entire story looks incredibly cool but it's also super overwhelming now in relation with where to jump in!

Maybe one day I'll get around to playing at least one of them lol.

Doom: The Dark Ages (2025)

Did you watch the recent Xbox Developer Direct stream with the Doom showcase?? It's looking absolutely fantastic and to know it's launching on May 15th, we really don't have to wait too long!

I can't get over how cool the skull gun looks, lol. Not only that though, but have you seen the Collector's Edition? That statue is looking so goddamn cool and is probably one of the best we've seen in a while from a game edition!

Is this one you'll be picking up on launch?

Pokemon TCG Pocket (2024)

Dialga and Palkia are the next focus for Pokemon TCG Pocket with its upcoming newest expansion, Space-Time Smackdown! It'll feature over 140 new cards, from ex and trainers to immersive cards.

Looking forward to this! As much as I've fallen out of love with Pokemon, I do still thoroughly enjoy the aspect of collecting cards, without having to spend money lol. Which of the two legendaries is your favourite?

Star Trek Online (2010)

This year marks the 15th anniversary for Star Trek Online and it's still going strong! It's absolutely awesome that it's still getting full support to this day and must have a very dedicated fanbase!

To celebrate, the game is launching its 33rd season which features new story, as well as an in-game event to celebrate this anniversary!

I remember playing it a very long time ago, but this was also during my Guild Wars 2 obsession phase, so I wasn't able to fully commit. Are you still playing and if so, how long for?!

Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist (2025)

The 1.0 version of Ender Magnolia is due to be released on January 23rd for PC, Switch, PlayStation and Xbox. It's currently sitting at overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam!

Avowed (2025)

We're just a month from the release of Avowed and honestly, I'm quite excited for it!

Obsidian is easily one of the best studios to be able to pull off an RPG like this, so I'm definitely hopeful. Still will wait until a little after launch though to make sure lol.

Helskate (2025)

The full release of Helskate has launched!

Content that has been added since leaving Early Access includes the full main story questline, the world of Grindgard, new enemies, a new boss fight, "the beach!", and more!

Conan the Barbarian will be joining Mortal Kombat 1 on January 21st for the Khaos Reigns expansion owners, with a full roll-out on January 28th!

Prey (2017)

What an absolutey fantastic game that took me by surprise! I actually had started this multiple times over three platforms before I decided enough was enough and sat down with it lol.

It's such a shame that we won't be seeing a sequel.

Nintendo Switch 2 (2025)

It has finally been officially announced! It features backwards compatibility with original Switch games, Joy-Cons that also act as mice, roughly around 30% bigger screen and a redesigned kickstand. There was also footage of a new Mario Kart!

Metal Gear Survive (2018)

A friend got me into the MGS series about a year ago. He's a huge fan of the franchise, so I sat down and watched him play through 1-4 on Discord while he explained the story, lore, characters, etc.

Afterwards, we both decided to play MGS Survive together, not realising that it's not entirely co-op until after the main campaign. Obviously, it doesn't scratch the actual franchise quality in the slightest, but I didn't find it to be an overly horrendous game—just not one I really wanted to continue to play on my own!

Assassin's Creed: Shadows (2025)

After the recent reveal of the upgraded parkour system and information on its DLC, is Shadows something you're looking forward to?

I'm feeling rather hit-and-miss on it. I've been a huge, long-term Assassin's Creed fan but none of the modern games have hit the same spot for me. I was excited to try Mirage, with it "going back to the series roots", but found it incredibly dull/boring and just overall a huge slog. We'll see!
