Fuck this man. Here I was thinking that someone had the gigachadness of drawing something beautiful with their own hands. But no. It's just some AI bullshit. Fuck man. To Ghibli Studio's? Is nothing sacred anymore?

i just found out tumblr was storing over three GIGABYTES of cookies on my device without me knowing and that's why it's been running so fucking slow recently... incredible. anyways everyone go clear your fucking cookies. don't let this website run a goddamn video game's worth of disc space in the background for no good reason.
I keep seeing people recommending Open Office as an alternative to Word, and uh... look, it is, technically, an open source alternative to Word. And it can do a lot of what Word can, genuinely! But it is also an abandoned project that hasn't been updated in nine years, and there's an active fork of it which is still receiving updates, and that fork is called LibreOffice, and it's fantastic.
Seriously, if you think that your choices are either "grit your teeth and pay Microsoft for a subscription" or "support free software but have a kind of subpar office suite experience", I guarantee that it's because you're working with outdated information, or outdated software. Most people I know who have used the latest version of LibreOffice prefer it to Word. I even know a handful of people who prefer it to Scrivener.
Open Office was the original project, and so it has the most name recognition, and as far as I can tell, that's really the only reason people are still recommending it. It's kind of like if people were saying "hey, the iPhone 14 isn't your only smart phone option!" but then were only ever recommending the Samsung Galaxy S5 as an alternative. LibreOffice is literally a version of the same exact program as Open Office that's just newer and better – please don't get locked into using a worse tool just because the updated version of the program has a different name!
I might've added the BG3 Art Book to my dnd assets stash
It' 100% does not have things like the 5e players' handbook + 5e’s character sheet, several gm guides, critical role's explorer's guide to wildmount, baldur's gate and waterdeep city encounters, 101 potions and their effects, volo's guide to monsters, both of xanathar's guides, a bunch of other encounters, one shots, and class builds
In no way are there any pdf’s relating to any wizard who may or may not be residing on any coast
(Edit that I’ve moved the folder to the new link above! So if you catch a different version of this post that link won’t work anymore!)
“My brother got into a fist-fight with our mayor,” Jazz stated loudly, as she gestured with her cocktail glass, unbothered by the stares of the other patrons.
“My brother has bitten more than three socialites in the last month,” The equally inebriated man, who’d introduced himself as Dick, retorted at a similar volume.
“Well, my sister tried to kill my brother within the first three days of meeting him,” Jazz snipped back.
“My brother’s first murder attempt on his sibling was within the first three minutes of meeting him,” Dick answered primly as he stirred his drink.
The redhead narrowed her eyes as she grabbed the little decorative umbrella from her glass. She pointed it at Dick and retorted: “My sister went on a year-long solo trip to explore the world.”
The man squinted in return before he smirked, “My sister has been living in Hong Kong for two years now.”
“Well, my sister was twelve,” Jazz said triumphantly.
Dick blinked before he tilted his head consideringly. “Yeah, ok. You win this one.”
Jazz let out a victory cheer before downing the drink in her hand. Dick gave her a congratulatory pat and chugged his own drink
“What’s the score?” Jazz asked as she twirled the umbrella between her fingers, her head held up by her hand.
Dick frowned. “I forgot,” he said before fishing an ice-cube out of his glass and munching on it.
Jazz frowned too, before her face cleared and she perked up “A tie-breaker!” She exclaimed. “Whoever does the most shots wins by default.”
Dick’s eyes gained a competitive glint and he smirked. “Oh, you are so going down.”
Honestly it happens the same shit with me. Even more so when I'm the one writing.
Sometimes its weird Reading a Fic from Luffy’s POV and realizing that Luffy Is Having thoughts. Cuz in the Anime we dont really Get To see what He’s thinking so it’s Kinda unusual. Not that it’s Bad, just Unusual. is that Just me or
Ba pa paaaaa anyway if you use or intend to use ao3 to post and you need the most basic help with adding images, gifs, hyperlinks and such, like if you have heard of html but haven’t really encountered it beyond the most basic <i>italicization</i>, there are lots of sites like this that break down what html tags do and how to play around with them.
If you want to play around with html tags without feeling the pressure to test it out directly on your story, I suggest opening the above website on half your screen and a live-editing site like Liveweave on the other, which lets you poke around with html and CSS and lets you see if your efforts pay off in real time. It’s free to make an account if you want to save something for later, but also you don’t need one to play around with it.
The things I use the most when posting fic are:
img (adds images to a post)
hyperlink (just send the suckers straight there!)
and, of course, trusty <b>bold</b> and <i>italicised</i>
I genuinely will just search ‘html img’ tag, go into one of the websites with the sample code, copy-paste the code and adjust it for my own purposes whenever I want to, say, add a reaction gif to an ao3 comment.
There are obviously fancier things you can do with html than add a “look at the fields in which I grow my fucks, Anakin” prequels gif (I’m very fond of this hover-text effect for additional languages in a fic), but if you’re scared of coding or have never encountered it before, here’s some easy first HTML for newbies. I learned a lot of things in my master’s level web development course, but ao3 is probably all I will use it for lol. Enjoy!
Did I daydream this, or was there a website for writers with like. A ridiculous quantity of descriptive aid. Like I remember clicking on " inside a cinema " or something like that. Then, BAM. Here's a list of smell and sounds. I can't remember it for the life of me, but if someone else can, help a bitch out <3
Oooooohhhhh! Makes sense honestly. But to me doesn’t really matter how long it takes to be real witchu. Like I said I just hope they aren’t being forced like pack mules, like a certain company, *cough*Disney*cough*, does.
Reminder that for season 1 they said it took an animator one day to do one second of footage.
