I reread the Cornwall chapters from ATYD.

The brothers always had a connection with each other. Sometimes at night when they where kids, Sirius felt how his brother got anxious. It was the darkness that frightened him. Sirius knew how to console him, he would sneak into his bedroom and tell him silly storys... Regulus would giggle and smile up at his big brother.

Sometimes they even knew and felt the pain of each other. But over the years they grew apart... and with them, the connections slowly faded.

Until one night, Sirius dreamed he was drowning. The water filled his mouth, his nose, his ears. His lungs burned, begging for air and he was choking.

He came awake gasping, coughing and shaking and he knew, he sort of knew...that something was terribly terribly wrong.

I drew this after a reading session by @imsiriuslyreading in which Sirius had a dark dream. The fact that he must have felt it ( I couldn't resist and draw this black brother angst.

Remus: I'd quite like the apology actually

Remus: I did the 'i was wrong' dance in 3rd year, in 5th when i broke a Bowie record, a month ago when I called you annoying-

getting into marauders brought back old hobbies of mine that died (i’m exaggerating). positives include reading, music, and guitar (thanks sirius black). negatives include a shit ton of smoking for every minor inconveniece (thank you remus lupin) and making an account on this app. as of the moment i’ve only had major inconveniences. make of that what you will.
