“I have a confession to make,” Arnold said to Julia, “I’m in lust with you.”

Julia raised her right eyebrow, “in lust with me?”

“Don’t get me wrong, I respect you, I like you as a person,” he pointed at her, “though you’re wrong about Star Wars,” gesturing down, “but my lower brain is very enamored with you.”

“Are you asking to have sex with me?”

“I- uh-” he paused, eyes darting back and fourth. “I don’t know,” he said slowly.

I Switched to Linux

With the incoming end to Windows 10 support and not wanting to switch to 11, I had to try Linux. I chose Linux Mint, it has been a week and I like it. Doing basic things is so much easier than Windows 10, the menu (yes, it’s just simply called menu, give it a better name Mint people) is so much easier to use that 10’s Start Menu, click it, mouse over the section, look for the program (I can not…

Prompt 6/1/25

The enemy upon defeat responds “You bastard. You brilliant bastard! That was genius. I didn’t even see it coming. You have won but I can take solace in the fact that it took your intellect to defeat me. I thank you.” Hearing this the victor feels no joy or satisfaction. They wanted tears, anger, yelling, groveling, and disbelief from their enemy, not this.

Prompt 5/30/25

The Phantom Mountains can be seen from a distance but disappear when people get closer. Where the mountains should be is a vast empty basin. But there are ways to the mountains, entrances to caves that lead upward, guarded by viscous trolls, ancient labyrinths filled with cursed creatures, remnants of some ancient underground civilization, and a map with a path where the Mountains don not disappear.
