Sorry I didn't see this until now!

Hibiscus is doing great!! 🌺

He's been taking a small break to regain his energy after the long trip. I tend to find him hanging out on a little, grassy sidewalk. It reminds him of Hawaii.

He's been really into collages lately, and has been asking for postcards or magazines of the Hawaiian islands

( He was very surprised when we told him there's more than one island, and he'd only visited Maui. )

He's been cutting out the photos and gluing them to things.

He's really been getting into the native culture!

At some point I saw him building a miniature scale model of Maunaloa 🌋 with sticks and sap.

He must be making another one because he asked for some more magazines and glue a few days ago.

Come to think of it, I haven't seen him recently... And I think my compass is missing?

IT'S TIME.

Someone very special came back this morning.

He came back and he was a little tired but he still managed to hold up the gift for me to get it.

I gave him the go ahead and he set the gift down. This is a big moment for him. I can tell.

He takes a leap. What will be inside?

I waited impatiently. He shuffled around for quite sometime.

I began to worry. Did he forget it? Did it get ruined in the ocean?

But suddenly...

Oh.

My God.

Our little man brought home a sticker. The most common, smallest, littlest décor in the entire game.

AND I AM SO. HAPPY.

BECAUSE IT'S HIS STICKER.

HIS JOURNEY. CAN FINALLY COME TO A CLOSE. FOR HE HAS GONE.

WHERE NO PIKMIN.

It's been a long 72 day journey for our little man and you all have joined me on it.

I'll be posting one more time before his big reveal, I still don't know what he's bringing home.

Lastly, when he arrives we'll be doing a naming competition with a poll and I'll be adding everyone's suggestions from the comments, tags and asks! :D

For those of you who are curious, here is what he currently looks like. HE'S BEEN WALKING SO LONG THAT THE GAME CAN BARELY HANDLE IT. HE'S SO BUGGY.

It's update time!

It's officially day 42 of our little man's journey.

YOU GUESSED IT

Hes STILL GOING.

The fisherman dropped him off a few days ago and hes now back to swimming. Do not worry! He has all the necessary safety precautions and he has the lifeguard rescue boat on standby.

He's about 2/3s the way there to the shore of California or Los Angeles.

As always I'll continue to update you all every couple of days or so on his journey!

Sorry for the lack of updates!! I've been spreading my updates out as not much changes while he's in the ocean!

Its time to let you know how our lil' boi is doing!

His arms are yet to get tired!!

I have some good news! He got picked up by a fisherman! He no longer has to swim his little legs.

He'll be able to rest for a few miles before starting his little journey again. 🌸

Good day all!!!

I have AMAZING news!!!

It is day 16 of our little Pikmins journey.

The little man HAS MADE IT TO HAWAII

And is now on his way back with...!

HIS LIL' GIFT!

He went into a few local stores and shopped for a bit before he picked something out. The cashier kindly wrapped it for him. Do not worry, I sent him some pennies to pay for it.

Although hopefully it isn't too much of a strain on his little arms!

Before beginning his trek back, he stopped at a little beachfront bar in Maui near the airport and Marriott hotel!

Like a responsible Pikmin he ordered a Rootbeer float instead. (Yes, all for him!)

( An actual picture I took on my trip! I left a lot of flowers there to find. )

He reached the beach with the present and is now making his way back. It'll take him 60 more days to walk back home with it. 🌺

I hope you had an amazing new year!

It's time for an update. Our little man is on day 12 of his journey!

He's doing just fine and is still in the ocean. He should make it to Hawaii in just a couple more days and then he'll start carrying the souvenir back.

Do not worry, he is the best swimmer I've ever met! He is well equipped for this journey!

I'm adoring all the name suggestions so far, I'll be deciding when he gets home!

Hello all!

Hope you all are doing amazing today!

It is day 8 of our Pikmin's journey!

He's moving pretty quickly and it shouldn't take him too much longer to reach Hawaii! The real trek should start when he picks up that heavy present to bring it back!

For those of you who are concerned for his safety, do not worry. I packed him his water dogs and some extra nectar.

He also has a map and a cellphone for emergencies.

He has reached the ocean and is now starting his ocean trek to Hawaii!

GOOD morning all!

Its time to update you on our little red Pikmin! It is day 3 of his journey!

To fix the inaccuracies I'm going to go off of the actual maps.

I am happy to report that...

He just crossed Lake Mead! And is on his way to Las Vegas!

Which means he has traveled 755 miles! (Somehow)

I will continue to update you on his journey tomorrow or in a few days!

I will always reblog the original post so it isn't too long!

(Note: there was a typo on day 1, his distance was incorrect. He should be at 1059 meters traveled currently. The distance seems to be fairly inaccurate as hes traveled much farther than that. I'll try to fix it! Much love!)
