Also I don’t want to see the Joker as the main villain of a Batman movie unless they’re adapting A Killing Joke or Under the Red Hood
#the killing joke isn’t even that good#i just prefer Barbra gardon as Oracle rather than batgirl#I also need my Birds of Prey show#dc comics#joker#batman#batman 2022#james gunn

I’m just gonna put it out there that in the comics Roy Harper is raised by the Navajo after his dad dies so if he ends up in a movie at some point, it’s not that big of a change to his backstory if he’s just actually Native American IM JUST SAYING IT LITERALLY WONT AFFECT ANYTHING THEY CAN STILL KILL HIS DAD

With how bright and saturated Superman and Metropolis is I think it would be really funny if Gotham was the opposite. Like it’s very smoggy and it’s always raining for some reason. People talk and dress like it’s a noir movie. The movie opens with detective Gordon monologuing in his office about how terrible the city is. Honestly film it in black and white, it’ll be funny.
#everyone is wearing a trench coat#it would also help separate it from the battinson movies#and their eventual team up will be more dynamic#dc comics#superman#superman 2025#dcu#james gunn#batman

I may be shooting a dead horse in the back of the head but I feel the need to talk about how the “maybe being kind/trustworthy is the real punk rock” line is commentary on how the current state of the world is so cruel that being caring in the face of it is considered counterculture

With the way Kara was introduced at the end of Superman I really hope they do in the direction of Kara dealing with the trauma/guilt from losing her planet in an unhealthy way and having to heal instead of her just partying and being a mess as a joke or having her arc being about needing to take things seriously
Like she can have a very interesting and impactful sorry about survivors guilt and losing literally everything you’ve ever knows or she can be the funny drunk girl
