I’ve always said that if you’re going to be type cast as an actor you should strive to be the best at that character. I never thought of “bad father” as a type cast- but here is John Noble being the worst father in film and television history.

I often think what it would be like to be a background character in the shows I watch.

Like just doing busywork at Cheyenne mountain and muttering to myself “that colonel is bitching about how he used to be retired again.”

The complete loss of the mental list and the frantic brain search that followed: ADHD

Example: “wait- what? What did I just think with my brain thoughts?”

The rearranging of the same list: AudHD

Example: “Ed Skrein is in blood moon which has Charlie Hunnam, who was in Pacific Rim, which had Burn Gorman, who was in Watcher with Maika Monroe, who is in Tau with Ed Skrein.”

Let’s discuss this honestly: If you’re in a relationship, and you want sex but your partner says that they don’t at the moment that should be the end of the discussion. After that point you need to ask yourself why you would want someone to unwillingly have sex with you. Regardless of if you take your partner by force or by manipulation it’s no longer about intimacy- it is now act of aggression.

So growing up all I really understood about my dad was that while he had trouble connecting, he would always watch the same shows and movies as me and read the same books. That way he had something to talk with me about. Now that I am an adult and knowledge about people on the spectrum is far more prevalent I understand exactly how important that aspect of our relationship is. I got a premium subscription to Hulu about a year ago and set it up on his tv as well as my own at my place. He has his own profile. What he doesn’t know is that I routinely check out what he’s watching so I can watch the same show and talk to him about them. He watched every episode of Buffy and read every Harry Potter book. I can watch some Justified and The Unit episodes for him.

I’m almost done with season 2 of Ted Lasso. I’m sorry- but I feel like everything about Nate is cringe af. Like he makes my skin crawl. I feel like there’s this cool fun show and Nate is secretly setting up his origin story to be an unsub on criminal minds.

I love how there can be a straight up murder at Sunnydale High School- a girl In literally the same talent show as her daughter, and Joyce Summers is just like “Honey, is something bothering you?” Like do the local parents just not know? How does anyone let their kid go to Sunnydale?

Neil Gaiman has been my companion at my overnight motel job for over a year now. It started with the graveyard book and it has spread from there. Today I was reading the Sandman graphic novels and came across this… the idea that all of my unfinished books exist in the dream library is heartbreaking. I want to read them!!!

Recently started watching an old show. I’m a huge fan of one of the main characters. He is the son of a schizophrenic mother. He has a seemingly endless knowledge about everything. He always seems to solve the case single-handedly. Also in the early couple of seasons there are hints that he might be on the autism spectrum.

No- it’s not Spencer Reid.
