Isn’t That Michael Clifford??
requested: nOpE warnings: ALL DA FLUFF author: Indigo a/n: takes place in Downtown Charleston summary: Abby and Indigo run into 5SOS in the street.
Tumblr media
(gif isn’t mine)
I walk down the lopsided streets of Downtown, talking to Indigo absent-mindedly. The December air bites at any exposed skin, and I shiver. Indigo gives me a look.
“It’s only 45 degrees, how are you cold??” she asks, and I throw her a glare.
“It’s way colder than last week! It was 65 last week,” I complain, and Indigo laughs.
“Welcome to Charleston, where Mother Nature can’t decide what the frick she’s doing,” she jokes, and I laugh. “Oh wait wait wait I gotta text from my sister,” she says, and we stop for a moment. I take the opportunity to glance around, and my eyes land on a familiar face. I smack Indigo’s arm to get her attention, and she glares at me.
“What was that for-”
“Isn’t that Michael Clifford??” I ask, pointing in the vague direction of where I saw him. She squints, then shrugs and goes back to texting her sister. I look harder, then see the rest of 5SOS. I bite my lip to hold back a squeal of excitement. “It is Michael Clifford! And the rest of them are over there too!” I say, jostling Indigo.
“Stop, you’re making me dizzy,” she says, and I apologize. She looks back over to where I pointed earlier. “Oh, well wouldja look at that, it is 5SOS, cool.” I glare at her.
“‘Oh look it is 5SOS’??? How are you not freaking out right now?? It’s 5SOS!!!” I squeal excitedly. Indigo rolls her eyes.
“Some of us aren’t obsessed with them,” she says, and I groan, exasperated. “What, would you like me to walk you over there to say hi??” she asks sarcastically.
“Actually yes,” I say, giving her my best puppy-eyes. She gives me a look.
“You’re an adult, you can do it, I believe in you,” she says, and I huff.
“But you’re gonna come with me anyway, and I won’t take no for an answer,” I insist, then drag her by the arm over to where they are. I hear her sigh, but she offers no resistance. I know my face must be blood red as I approach them, but whatever, I can just blame it on the cold.
“Hi, sorry for bothering you, but my friend and I here are really big fans and just wanted to say hi,” I say, but trail off because I don’t know how to continue. Indigo snatches her arm away from me.
“Well I wouldn’t say I’m a ‘really big fan’ but okay. Also, it’d be nice to have circulation in my arm,” she says, glaring at me. I smile apologetically while the boys laugh.
“You’re not bothering us, we love meeting our fans!” Luke says brightly.
“Well, in this case fan,” Calum deadpans. I make a pfft sound.
“She’s a fan, she just doesn’t know it yet,” I say matter-of-factly, and Indigo glowers at me.
“Suuuuuureeee,” she says, rolling her eyes. Ashton looks at her with an incredulous look.
“I think we have a challenge on our hands!” he exclaims, and I clap my gloved hands together. Indigo’s eyes widen.
“No no no no no no, that’s fine, I’m good, thanks but no thanks,” she says, waving her hands wildly, but everyone else, myself included, gives each other a look, and we all break into song. Granted, we all start singing a different song, and we’re all horribly out of tune. Indigo claps her hands over her ears, and we all laugh. She pulls her hands from her ears.
“Y’all done?” she asks, looking slightly dizzy. I nod, still laughing. I look at my phone’s clock.
“Well, we have to get going pretty soon, so can we take a picture?” I ask, and the guys nod.
“I’ll take it,” Indigo offers, but I shut her down real quick.
“Nu-uh, missy, we’re taking a selfie and you’re gonna be in it,” I insist, pulling her into the group. I end up closest to the camera, right by Luke, who decides it’s a great idea to wrap an arm around my shoulder, which paralyzes me for about two seconds. Indigo stands between Ashton and Calum. She does smile, and just before I take the picture, Ashton kisses Indigo on the cheek. Before she reacts or lets her smile slip, I take the picture with him still kissing her cheek. I put my phone back in my pocket, and unconsciously reach up to touch Luke’s hand, which is still on my shoulder. He laces his fingers with mine, and that’s when I realize what I just did. My cheeks flame, and to distract myself, I look over to where Indigo is death-glaring Ashton for kissing her, but I can see the corners of her mouth flickering upwards. I bite my lip to hold back a squeal.
“Whatcha gonna do about it?” Ashton says teasingly, and Indigo ponders for a moment, then presses up on her toes to whisper something in his ear. His face goes red and his eyes widen. “No thank you I’d really prefer to actually be able to have kids at some point,” he says, and Indigo grins smugly while the rest of us erupt in laughter.
“It’s been nice meeting y’all, but unfortunately, Indie and I have to go,” I say after laughing. Luke squeezes my hand and lets go.
“Wait, we never got your names,” Michael says, and I resist the urge to smack myself in the face.
“I’m Abby, she’s Indigo,” I say. Luke smiles down at me.
“It was nice to meet you two,” he says, and leans down to kiss the top of my head. “You got a number to go with that name?” I freeze (no pun intended).
“Uh- I yeah, hold on,” I stutter, pulling out my phone. I read out my number to Luke, who puts it in his phone immediately.
“I’ll go ahead and text you just to make sure,” he says, and begins typing on his phone. I wait for a few seconds for his text to come through, but it never does.
“Uhm, lemme make sure I read it right,” I say, face flushing a bright pink. Luke’s phone dings. He reads it and laughs. I raise my eyebrows, then show him my number because I don’t trust myself to be able to read it off right. He repeats the process, and this time I actually do get the text. I read it and blush even harder.
“You wanna go out with me?” it reads. I look up and Luke, who’s grinning like a complete idiot, and just nod.
“Great! I’ll text you time and place, okay?” he says, and I just nod again, shocked.
“Okay, well Indie and I are gonna leave then, we’ll see you around,” I say, and Indigo smirks at me. She glances back at Ashton, and I practically see a fricking lightbulb above her head as she walks up to him and kisses him on the cheek. As she pulls away, she winks at him and walks away, hair swishing behind her as I struggle to catch up.
“I can’t believe you just did that!” I exclaim, and she laughs, well, more of a cackle.
“And I can’t believe you actually accepted that date invitation,” she teases. I blush.
“You saw that?”
“Mhm”
“I’m never gonna live this down, am I?” I groan.
“Nope!”

Seeing Harry Styles in Public Part II feat. Niall Horan
here’s a part two even tho no one asked  requested: uh, no  warnings: FLUFF FLUFF AND MORE FLUFF  authors: Abby and Indigo  a/n: imagine takes place in Pounce Cat Cafe in South Carolina  summary: Indigo feels like the third wheel and Harry and Abby help out.
part I
Tumblr media
*gif is not mine*
Indigo giggled as she scrolled through her Instagram, now filled with various photos of Harry and Abby taken by the paparazzi. Everyone was begging to know who the mysterious girl was holding his hand, but every time she was mentioned Harry refused to fess up. Larry Stylinson shippers began spreading rumors that it was Louis in a wig, but Harry’s lips stayed sealed.
The suspense and constant waiting drove Indigo mad. Harry and Abby weren’t officially together, but sometimes there was a spark and she’d be forced to keep herself from screaming “JUST KISS ALREADY!!” at the top of her lungs. Ah yes. The struggles of being a fangirl. There was always an excuse. “I didn’t brush my teeth this morning” and “There are people watching” being the most common. Indigo was sure she had missed something, because every time he tried anything more than a hug, he’d pull himself back like he’d remembered something.
She tried not to complain. Indigo knew that the more intimate they got, the more she’d feel out of place. A third wheel. She chided herself for thinking selfishly, then went back to her book.
Little did she know, Abby and Harry were having problems of their own.
“When was the last time you spoke to Niall?” Abby asked, scrolling through Twitter.
Harry glanced up and raised an eyebrow. “The One Direction reunion last year. Why do ya ask?”
“No reason,” Abby replied, still looking at her phone.
“C’mon, ya can talk to me about anything ya know.” He scooted up next to her and tried laying his head on her shoulder. Abby rejected his request, shoving her phone into her back pocket and moving to another couch. “Oi! What happened to “Treat People With Kindness” and all that?”
“Harry, this is important!” Abby exclaimed, turning on her heel to face him. “Indigo feels left out, I know she does, and I don’t like that look on her. If you really must know, I asked about Niall because he was always her favorite.”
Harry frowned. “Who was yours?”
Abby ponders for a moment. “Liam.” His eyes widened and she laughed. “I’m joking, it was you.” He let out a sigh of relief.
“Sooo… you’re trying to set the two up?”
“Like, duh,” I say. “So here’s the plan…”
“Why did I agree to tag along with y’all?”
“You didn’t,” Abby reminded her. “We dragged you all the way here, the heels of your shoes are proof of that.”  Indigo smiled innocently. Abby plopped unceremoniously onto the couch and smirked.  “We have someone for you to meet!” she says excitedly. Indigo rolls her eyes and pinches the bridge of her nose.
“And who is it, pray tell?” she asked.
“You’ll know soon enough,” Abby said, patting her head. Indigo hissed and pulled away.
“Should I be worried?”
“Anything having to do with Abby means ya should worry,” Harry said teasingly. Abby stuck her tongue out playfully. Harry pulled out his phone. “They should be here any minute,” he said, and Abby squealed.
“Wow I don’t even get to know the gender. Thanks guys,” Indigo said, rolling her eyes. She pulled out her phone, and Abby peeked over to see what she was doing.
“You’re so uninteresting,” Abby complained as all Indigo was doing was adding an event to her calendar. Indigo laughed and turned her phone off.
“How much longer is it gonna be? I have a paper to write,” Indigo asked, drumming her fingers on the side table.
“Just another few minutes,” Harry said, and Indigo glared at the floor. A couple kittens jumped up next to her, and she scratched them absentmindedly. Abby picked up one of the throwing toys and tossed it across the room. One of the kittens chased after it just as the door opened.
“Do you have a reservation or are you a walk-in?” the lady at the counter said, and Harry jumped up.
“He’s with us,” he said, and the lady nodded and opened the little gate-thingy. Indigo glanced over from the kitten she was petting, and her face paled.
“What the-?” her British accent jumped out for a moment and she touched her throat. “Sorry, er- hi?” she said, even though it was more like a question. Abby laughed.
“Meet Niall Horan. Indigo, Niall, Niall, Indigo,” Harry said, gesturing between the two. Indigo gave a little head-dip thing and said hello (again). Niall grinned and also greeted her, then sat down beside her. Abby grabbed Harry’s arm, and Indigo could tell she was holding back a screech. He chuckled and said, “You’re gonna cut off my blood circulation.”
“Sorry for the inconvenience but I’m-” Niall was cut off with a sneeze and finished, “-allergic to cats.”  Indigo pursed her lips.
“We can go outside if you want.”  Niall nodded and led her out the door, leaving Abby and Harry to fangirl over their new ship.
“Mind if I ask a question?”
“I guess.”
“Abby and Harry told me that I was your favorite, out of One Direction. Is that true?”
Indigo frowned. “No, it was Zayn,” she deadpanned. Niall raised an eyebrow.  “I can’t tell if you’re joking or not,” he said, chuckling.
“Look out, there’s a pigeon up ahead.” Niall shrieked, nearly jumping out of his skin. Out of instinct, he grabbed Indigo by the arm and hid behind her. Indigo tried to ignore how warm his hands were.
“Chill, I was joking,” she said, laughing. Niall was still breathing like he’d just finished a run. Indigo turned to look at him, still chuckling. He looked down at her, half-glaring, half-laughing.
“Not funny,” he said, and he looked down into her eyes. Indigo grinned.
“Sorry you’re right, it wasn’t funny.” Niall looked superior for a second before, “it was hilarious!” All the laughter evaporated from her voice as she noticed him staring directly into her eyes. It was at this point she realized that he’d never taken his hand off of her arm. Indigo tilted her head at Niall, and he sucked in a breath.
“Dammit, why is that so cute?” he breathed, and cupped her cheek with his hand. Indigo felt her breath hitch, and Niall grinned down at her. He tilted her chin up and leaned down. Indigo gasped as his lips connected with hers in a song of sparks. She pressed onto her toes to kiss him back, and she felt his hand move from her arm to the small of her back. Indigo threw her arms around his neck, and Niall drew her impossibly closer. They broke apart, and leaned their foreheads together.
“Abby’s probably screaming right now,” Indigo breathed, and Niall laughed.
“Harry too.”

Seeing Harry Styles in Public
another outcome of my boredom :]  requested: nuh uh  warnings: fluff and cringe lol  author: Abby  a/n: another personal imagine because why not  summary: Indigo and Abby spot Harry in a cafe... what will happen next?
Tumblr media
*gif is not mine*
Abby stirred her frappuccino absentmindedly, her eyes glued to the book she was reading. Indigo was busy typing away on her computer, either the book that she and Abby were writing or the lyrics to another one of her songs. Both girls were too distracted by their work to see a familiar face walk into the café. It wasn’t until the man walked up to the counter that they finally recognized him.
“I’ll take an espresso, please,” the man said. Abby glanced up, instantly noticing the voice. Her eyes wandered around the café until they fell on none other than Harry Styles. Her face flushed red in realization. Once Harry had taken his order and walked back to his table she nudged Indigo.
“Did you see him?”
“See who?” Indigo asked, still focused on her computer.
“Harry Styles! I swear that he just walked past us!”
“Dunno, my song is the only thing I’m worried about now,” she replied, not bothering to look up. “But if you’re so desperate, why don’t you see for yourself?”
Abby feigned hurt. “You know I can’t do that! My face would be as red as a tomato!”
“It already is,” Indigo noted. Abby groaned and rested her head in her hands. “Complain all you want but this is your last chance to finally meet him, so it’s now or never.”
She snapped her fingers and fished out her phone from her purse. Indigo rolled her eyes and went back to her songwriting. Abby pulled up the camera and tried to take a subtle picture, failing to notice that her flash and her ringer were on. With a loud click! and a quick flash of light she was exposed. Harry glanced up and smiled.
“Ya know, if ya wanted a picture ya could’ve just asked me,” he said.
“So much for subtlety.” Abby shot Indigo a look and she grinned innocently. She cupped her hands to create a makeshift microphone and whisper-yelled “She’s a reaaaally big fan!” Abby slapped her playfully and turned back around, blushing.
“It’s true,” she said. “Sorry for bothering you.”
“Not at all, it’s always a pleasure to meet the fans.” Harry walked over to where the two girls were sitting and smiled. “Harry Styles, and who might you be?”
Abby opened her mouth but the words died in her throat. She leaned over to Indigo and whispered, “What’s my name again?” Harry laughed while Indigo facepalmed dramatically.
“This is Abby ‘I Can’t Talk in Front of Celebrities’ Henderson, and I’m her friend Indigo.”
“Nice to meet ya both! I’m assuming you’ll be wanting a picture?”
Abby tried to say something but Indigo cut her off. “Yes, my friend here would love a picture, but first she’d like to have a nice, long, conversation with you. That shouldn’t be too hard, right Abby?”
“Not helping,” she replies. “But yes, I’d be fine with just talking if that’s alright.”
Indigo smirked and said, “Are you both free for about another hour?” Abby and Harry both nodded. “Great, well I’m not, so enjoy your date!” She slammed her computer shut and ran out the door, leaving Harry and Abby both speechless.
Harry shrugged and bounced on the balls of his feet. “Well, I’m going on a walk, so could ya do me a favor?”
“Sure.”
Harry extended his hand and said, “Could ya hold this for me?”
She gaped at him like he had just grown a second head. “Y-you’re serious?”
“Yep,” he replied, lacing her fingers with his. “I guess you have your friend to thank.”
I nod in agreement, then get a text from her. “Speak of the devil.”
Indigo: Damn, it feels good to be a gangster
Abby: IOU big time
Indigo: I take my cash in Jane Austen books, thank you

Going to a Harry Styles Concert With the Fam
hiiiii I got really bored and this is the outcome. hope you enjoy xx  requested: nope  warnings: fluff overload  author: Abby a/n: this is a personal imagine for myself :)  summary: the Hendersons go to a Harry Styles concert and Harry notices them from onstage  Abby- me  Naomi, River- sisters  Silas- brother  Mom and Dad- self explanatory
Tumblr media
*gif is not mine
The crowd screamed eagerly, waiting for Harry Styles to appear onstage. So far fifteen minutes had passed and the opening act was wrapping up. Harry peeked from behind a curtain and the crowd went wild. He stepped out and walked up to the microphone.
"It appears tha' I am at the wrong concert," he said, and everyone laughed. "I'll be going now." He picked up the microphone and exited the room before turning back around.
"'M KIDDING" he promised. He strummed his guitar and began playing the familiar notes.
In the pit, the Henderson family was trying to contain a fangirling Abigail, who was currently belting out the lyrics to Woman.
"Abby, chill, it hasn't even been half an hour and I already regret taking you," Mom said playfully.
"Agreed," River said, nodding.
"I'm not the one to talk, you should've seen her in Watermelon Sugar," Abby replied, motioning to River. "And besides, once Adore You comes on I know you'll be screeching."
And, as it turns out, she was right. The words hadn't even escaped Harry's lips and every single Henderson was going insane.
"WALK THROUGH FIRE FOR YOU, JUST LET ME ADORE YOU" Abby giggled at her family's enthusiasm for the song.
Even Harry seemed a bit surprised. Midway through the song he burst out laughing at their little mini show, confusing everyone who couldn't see the group from their seats. "As yeh can tell, I had a bit of an outburst jus' there, and I apologize, it's jus' tha the family in the pit was being too funny and I couldn't help myself." He looked at Dad. "Are they all yers?"
He nodded and Harry whistled. "Six children... I can't imagine... are all eight of yeh fans?"
Naomi screamed, "NO JUST THIS ONE" and pointed to Abby, who was blushing a bright red.
"THEN WHY DID YEH COME IN THAT FIRS' PLACE?!" He teased. He collected himself and said, "'M sorry, it's nice to see yeh all, thank yeh for coming, hope yer enjoying th-"
"SHE'S A REAAALLY BIG FAN" Silas interrupted, motioning towards Abby.
"Oh, really?" Harry asked. Abby nodded.
"Well, I'm afraid we've almos' reached the end of the show, so would yeh and yer family like to join me onstage for this one las' song? We could really use tha' excited energy up here."
Abby squealed and bolted up the stairs, her family lagging behind. Once everyone was up there Harry said, "I assume yeh all know Kiwi?" The crowd erupted into screams.
"It's my favorite one, actually!" Abby said into the mic.
"Sing along if yeh know the words!!" Harry yelled, motioning for Mitch to start the music.
The beat of the drums was so loud it could be felt in Abby's pulse, but she couldn't have been happier. She was so lost in the song that she almost tumbled offstage. The rest of the family, despite not knowing the song as well as Abby, danced around the stage screeching and doing dramatic hair flips. Fans were going crazy in the arena, apparently they were enjoying the entertainment.
As the song finished the crowd cheered for the performance, Harry giving them a low bow. "Yeh all have been a lovely crowd and a special thanks to the..." He turned to the family, asking for help.
"Hendersons," Abby whispered.
"GIVE IT UP FOR THE HENDERSONS EVERYONE" The fans screamed once more before Abby and her family were whisked offstage after giving their thanks to Harry.
"How did it feel to meet your idol?" Abby's friend Lila asked over the phone, no doubt smirking on the other end of the line.
"I felt like passing out, but it was awesome," she replied, smiling. "The best day of my entire life."

The Lightning’s Dance
This is a prank version of a fanfic I wrote to torment someone (@morriganmachabadb). Try not to perish from the cringiness! Names have been changed.  I drew in a deep breath and walked into camp. I looked around, nervous. Someone immediately ran up to me, and my eyes widened in shock. “Hi! I’m  Vivian, daughter of Poseidon! We’re gonna be besties!” the girl squeals, hugging me tightly. I laugh a bit.“I’m Claire, nice to meet you,” I say, hugging her back. She grabs my arm and tugs me to the center of all the cabins.“So that’s all the cabins and stuff, we’ll show you the rest of camp later. Come meet my friends and stupid brother!” Vivian eclaims, dragging me off to Zeus only knows where. “That’s Persassy, my brother. That’s Blake, she’s a daughter of Athena. That’s Piper, a daughter of Aphrodite, and that’s Rachel, she’s the Oracle.” Vivian says, and I smile at everyone. They all smile and wave back to me. Blake whispered smthn to Piper, who whispered smthn to Rachel, who whispered to Vivian, whose eyes lit up and she turned to look at smthn.  Vivian grabbed my arm and pulled me around to see. “That’s Robert. He’s a son of Athena, and I think you’d like him a lot,” Vivian proclaims. ~POV change~ Vivian and her girl gang were gathered around another girl, who I had overheard introducing herself as Claire. He had yet to see her face, but she was sure to be even prettier than the Aphrodite campers. Vivian turned to look at him, and she pulled Claire around to look as well. My face immediately goes red as a tomato, as she was the beautifullest person I had ever seen, she was so beautiful that everyone else that was at the camp was no longer beautiful because Claire out-beautified their beauty. ~POV change~ I look at the boy and flush slightly. I quickly regain my wits, and turn back to the girls. “He looks nice, I guess.” Vivian smirks, along with all the other girls. “We saw you blush,” says Blake. “You totally like him,” goes Piper. “We should set you two up!” chimes Rachel. “Girls. We can agree on one thing and only one. This. is. our. new. SHIPPPPPPPPP!!!!!” squeals Vivian, and the rest of the girls squeal in excitement as well.  “CLAIRBERT!!!” they all shout in unison. A few other campers look our way in confusion, but no one really cares because obviously this is normal life stuff. I blush harder, and all the girls smirk to each other. “So how shall we get them together??” Blake asks, a serious look on her face.  “I don’t know, what if we meet up later and talk about it. Claire has to settle in.” Vivian says, and all the girls nod. Vivian leads me to a cabin, and I walk in.  “Welcome to Cabin 11. This is Hermes’ cabin, and we welcome you until you get claimed!” One of the campers exclaims, and I smile.  “Thanks.”~Time sip becuz I do be lazy tho~ The next day, we go out to a field/forest, to play capture the flag. I’m on a team with Posiedon, Athena, and Aphrodite cabins. We all huddle to make a small plan, then all go to execute said plan when Chiron calls for the game to start. Piper, Blake, Robert and I scramble up some trees. Piper and Blake insisted that Robert and I partner up to keep watch in the same tree. At one point, I could’ve sworn I heard Piper and Blake chanting that old rhyme, “Claire and Robert, sittin’ in a tree” and I shot a murderous look in their general direction. I spot a member of the other team, and I grab Robert and point to them. He nods, and I don’t notice that I hadn’t let go of him. He motions to someone below us, and they run off after them. Someone screams, and I look at Robert in confusion. His brows scrunch together, and he slides down the tree. I slide down after him, and we both run in the direction of the screams. There’s a hellhound pack surrounding a few campers, who are back-to-back Avengers style. Robert and I start doing whatever we can to make them go away, but to no avail. At some point, one of the hellhounds leaps at Robert and bites him. He shakes it off, and Percy comes out of nowhere with a freaking sword. He takes out the hellhounds like they’re flies, and helps the terrified campers. I look at Robert’s bite wound, which is on his arm.  “That looks bad. Here, let me help,” I say. Robert lets me wrap my long hair around the bite, and watches in wonder as I open my mouth and start to sing. “Yeah, you got that yummy, yumThat yummy, yumThat yummy, yummyYeah, you got that yummy, yumThat yummy, yumThat yummy, yummy” I finish the song and my hair stops glowing. I unwrap my hair from his arm, and the bite is gone. His mouth drops open, and I smile shyly.  “Wow...that’s amazing. You’re amazing.” he says. I blush. The other campers clear their throats, and my gaze snaps up to them.  “Are you two lovebirds done?” one of them asks. I blush harder and mumble incoherently. I glance up briefly to see Robert’s face. He’s almost as red as I am. We walk back to camp, not really talking much. I bid him farewell and walk up to the girls, who immediately smirking at me.  “We know what happened~” they all say in unison. I groan slightly. “You’ll never let me live this down, will you?” I ask. “Nope!” says Piper “I totally ship y’all” chimes in Blake. “OTP” squeals Vivian. “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure they don’t do something regrettable trying to set you two up.” Rachel says, and I smile gratefully. ~Another time skip because I’m lazy -_-~ I see the girls talking to Robert, and I shrug it off. I walk up to them, and they shoo me away. I tilt my head, confused, but Blake gives me a “trust me” look, and I walk away to go talk to some random campers.  A little while later, Vivian interrupts a conversation with some random Aphrodite camper to drag me away to some obscure location. Robert’s standing there, and I can’t help but blush. “Claire,” he says, the way he says my name making me blush harder. “Since the moment I first laid eyes on you, you captivated me. I always thought that you could be the one for me.” he says, finishing his little speech with, “will you go out with me?” I gasp. I don’t notice that I’m not breathing. A couple seconds pass, and I can tell he’s getting nervous. “Yes. I will,” I say, throwing my arms around his neck. He laughs, and I feel a couple tears slip down my cheeks. This is perfect. I pull back to look into his eyes, my arms still around his neck. I hardly notice him moving in slowly, not until his lips connect with mine. Sparks feel like they’re jumping all across my skin. I never thought it would happen, but I feel like I got a glimpse of heaven. It felt like forever, but I am informed by Vivian that it only lasted a few seconds. I knew in that moment that I loved that boy.
