The Beta For Fort Briar Is Here, Saved Game Coming With the Next Version of The Map!
Time for anyone who wants to try it out, to download Fort Briar, or at least an early version of it. Here's a screenshot of what the world currently looks like right now, although it may change before the final version

The world requires all expansion packs plus the Bohemian Garden set from the Sims 3 Store. It also requires the following free store content
Modern HDTV by Webbsta Industries
Halloween Treats
Explorer's Loot
Earth Day
Honeycomb Bookshelf
Gifts for the Holidays
Happy Valentines Day 2014
Let There Be Sims
The Sims Strike Back
In the Dawn of Sims
Weba Yayfoo!
Riverview
Kalliopi's Gifts
More Holiday Presents
Eye of the Bolder
More Halloween Treats
The first beta can be downloaded here. This version will no longer be available when future versions of the world comes out. Some of the homes are left unfurnished because they need to be furnished by CJplays, and he will also contribute a dance club and complete a shell challenge I created specifically for him. Once CJ finishes it, the finished shell, will appear in a future version of the Fort Briar and I will upload the empty shell currently placed in the world to the exchange for other people to try out. In the meantime, please let me know about any issues you encounter play testing the world and anything you think I could improve upon

I've been looking forward to this one for a very long time!
Oceanview, Remastered is Out Now!
So, without much further ado, the completely revamped edition of Oceanview is out now!
This update was sorely needed, because the world was released in 2014 (yes, that long ago!). Here are some of the changes and updates:
Oceanview is now Island Paradise Ready™, meaning that players with IP can add houseboats along the shore lines, which had routing paint forbidding access.
Terrain has been sculpted for more realism.
There is a new waterfall!
Several new fully built and empty residential and community lots have been added. Explore Oceanview to discover where they are!
Several pre-existing lots have been moved around to make room for empty lots: the Hoi Polloi Center, Festival Grounds, C-Ment Shoe Factory and Plumbot Pictures Backlot.
The large lake behind the large hilltop has been opened up for fishing and swimming.
There are major interior and exterior renovations to several townhouses, starter homes and community lots.
There are 10 new households!
A few sims that were incorrectly exported with wrong hairstyles and outfits have been fixed, particularly the Heartbreak Hotel and Funnicello household.
Most except the most stubborn routing issues have been fixed.
To Download, Simply Visit The Sims Depot.

Downtown Fort Briar is almost complete
Excluding the ports, I have finished building all the lots in the downtown area now, excluding the ports. I may or may not add houseboats depending on how I feel and if CAW starts taking a really long time to save. Still I will play test it to make sure that houseboats work, before releasing the map, regardless of if I include them or not. The only non port lot that's missing from the downtown now, is this dance club that will be built by CJplays. It will be located near the stadium.

I was a bit nervous because for a awhile, I couldn't remember if I included an art gallery lot somewhere on the map, but I did. You should be able to just barely make out the Fort Briar Art Institute just off in the distance far north west corner of this screenshot. I hope you guys like it. I worked really hard on it
I'm also considering adding another house up north as the area above the schools looks a bit too empty. I still can't release the first beta for awhile yet because in addition to the ports, I still have to work on the dive lot, and in addition there are some lots in the northern portion of the map that still aren't finished, but we're getting closer and closer to the official release of Fort Briar now.

Update on What Fort Briar Looks Like Now
I've been working on Fort Briar, and although I haven't finish all the lots, and perhaps the world could use more terrain. Here is what the world looks like now. Note that you're not seeing all of the trees off in the distance. CJ has yet to work on any of his builds, but most of them will be him just furnishing them

Sims 3 Custom Legacy Challenge
I have never been into legacy challenges, which may make it seem a bit strange that I have decided to create one, even through I never play them, I am however, really into custom worlds and I would love for more people to get their worlds exposed to the world. I mean, just look at this image of all the ones that have come this year for the Sims 3.
I have made multiple custom worlds my self, and I have read up on legacy challenges, so I decided to make one about custom worlds. I realized there was one focused on all of the store worlds, and Lepacy is focused on all the expansion packs and so I thought why can't there be one around custom worlds?
This is the Custom Legacy Challenge or Custom Worlds Legacy Challenge. I already talked about this with CJplays on one of his streams awhile back and I think he liked the idea. I decided to expand upon it a bit here.
Now here are the rules for my Custom Legacy Challenge
Normal Legacy Challenge Rules Apply
Every Generation must be a different custom world and if you are streaming or doing lets plays of this, or writing about it on a blog, each generation must be named after the world you chose for them to live in.
You can use any Sims 3 custom worlds created by anyone including yourself. Preferably you don't use only worlds created by the same person through for all ten generations to keep it interesting, although that is allowed. The only restriction is that the worlds cannot be empty. It must have enough finished lots, including furnished homes for it to function properly, so no worlds with only empty lots, or unfurnished homes, unless you're willing to furnish them all yourself, or someone else has or will do it for you.
If you are recording the legacy challenge in anyway, you must give credit to whoever created each of the worlds that you're using
Worlds can be populated or unpopulated. If the creator of the world created an official saved game file for that world you must use it for the generation that lives in that town, unless you are unable to make it work properly for whatever reason. If the world is unpopulated you must use story progression but you must also manually populate the world with at least three to four other households that you or someone else created. At least one toddler, child and teen must be included in at least one of the of manually placed households.
Each Generation must involve a custom Sims 3 challenge built around the theme of the world chosen for that generation. You must also bring into consideration what packs, and what store content the world uses, when picking an additional challenge for that generation. The additional challenges can be created by you, or someone else, but they must fit the theme of that world
Do not have all ten worlds, for all ten generations have the exact same theme or the exact same or similar challenges, that's kind of boring don't you think?
Sims 3 Custom World Themes for The Custom Legacy Challenge
Here is a list of different world themes for you to pick from and some possible challenge ideas for each theme. Note that there may be some overlap with many of these themes. That just means more options including more possible challenges for the generation that lives there. You can play these in any order that you want, and you don't have to include all of them in your legacy.
Normal Worlds - an ordinary Sims 3 world, that looks like something that could exist in the real world. Pick something that people could do in real life for this generation's additional challenge
City Worlds - A big city world - think of something for this generation to do that you would do in a city, for example becoming an actor, bar hopping or traveling overseas to get artifacts for the museum, or maybe becoming a criminal. Perhaps your heir is homeless?
Country Worlds - Think farming, camping or wilderness exploration, or perhaps horse racing for the generation's challenge. If your family is going to include an occult, now would be the perfect opportunity for a plant sim.
Sci Fi Worlds - Alien worlds and future versions of Earth that are more technologically advanced than the world today. Think of scenarios involving aliens, robots and time travel and general advanced technology that doesn't exist in the real world. Make your goal something like becoming a bot builder or a scientist, maybe an astronomer if the world uses into the future and includes its rabbit holes
Fantasy Worlds - A place filled with literal magic, often with a medieval design. Do something involving fairies, or Witcraft and lots and lots of questing, especially if the world includes custom tombs
Creepy or Haunted Worlds - Worlds that look like something out of a horror movie. Think of challenges for this generation that involve ghosts, vampires, werewolves and or maybe just some good old serial murder
Fall Themed Worlds - Think of activities you would do in the fall for this generation's challenge.
Spring Themed Worlds - Think of some spring themed challenges, maybe also something involving love, because you know, Valentines Day
Summer Themed Worlds - Think of some summer themed activities for the challenge
Winter Themed Worlds - Do something involving either snow or the holidays
Post Apocalyptic Worlds - The only thing I can think of off hand is the Zombie Apocalypse Challenge, but if there are any Robot Uprising, or alien invasion challenges, along with anything that makes you think, Mad Max, that could work
Pets Worlds - Worlds that include the equestrian center, horse ranch, dog park and cat jungle. Think of something involving our furry or not so furry friends
Career Worlds - Worlds that are built around the professions from Ambitions and or performance Venues from Showtime. The Suggestion for this one is obvious
Island Worlds - Worlds that are Islands. Before Island Paradise there wasn't much special you could do with these
Wild West - Pick something cowboy themed or that goes along with the cowboy theme, either that or make one of or all of your family outlaws.
Premium Content Worlds - These are worlds that either use a lot of premium content or are built around a set of premium content. ( Store items that add additional gameplay ). I if you're playing in one of these worlds, try to think of something you could do involving that premium content for that generation.
Stardew Like / No Rabbit Hole Worlds - Off course with these you will have to come up with something that does not involve the rabbit hole careers such as a "rags to riches"
Some Final Notes
Remember to give everyone whose worlds you use credit. Use any saved game file they made for that world, and if its an empty world, to manually add three or four households in addition to your own. Also remember to pick a different challenge for each generation based on the world you picked for that generation. Last but not least the name of each generation will be the name of the custom world that you picked for that generation.

I'm looking forward to this

Release of Oceanview, Remastered Coming Out Soon
As I promised in an earlier post, I have a completed version of Oceanview, Remastered ready for download. I just wasn't in the right frame of mind to release the world back in January as promised. However, now that the dust from real life has settled a little bit, I think I can release the new version soon.

In the remastered version of Oceanview, I've remodeled many of the lots, but keeping in the spirit of the original version. So, don't worry about any interiors or exteriors clashing with the suburban/woodland feel of the world. All I did was fix some layouts that had always bugged me since the beginning, as well as spruce everything up.
I'll explain more about all the other changes and upgrades I made in Oceanview, Remastered in the release notes. Till then, here are some more screenshots during the last playtest session.

Happy 2025, Everyone! And Greetings from Oceanview, Remastered!
Sorry I haven't been posting recently, but between the holidays and a personal family situation, I wasn't able to post any updates about what I've been up to. But rest assured--I've been active the entire time. In fact, I've been busy remastering Oceanview the entire time, complete with revamped interiors and terrain.
As I explained in an earlier post, Oceanview was released in a rough state because I was sick at the time and didn't know if I'd be up to completing the world once I got out of the hospital. Then when I recovered, I got so caught up building Riverview and Sim Acres that I never had time to give Oceanview the TLC it deserved.

I'm currently in the final stages of repopulating the town with the original families. Once I test that and can be sure that everything is running okay, I'll be releasing another version of Oceanview called Oceanview Enhanced. This version will include new families, houseboats and content from both University and Island Paradise.
In the meantime, stay tuned for more update news and a release date!

Pumpkin Spice - A New Sims 3 World For CJ Plays - Just In Time For Christmas
Merry Christmas CJ! I included most of your premium content, extra gameplay store items from your tier list. Some of the lower tier items just fit the world's theme so well, I just had to use them too. Regardless I was under the impression that almost none of them you really disliked.
Many of the venues are CJplays Easter eggs. You will need to come up with your own lore as to why many of the community lots are named after you or your sims.
Don't forget to checkout the school and arboretum. Those are the only two lots that include a playground, plus there is something really special about the school.
Check the other venues for hidden basements! They're not tombs and your sims won't be able to access them, but there's a good reason for them. I was thinking about including tombs at one point, but decided not to.
Sorry I couldn't finish this in time for your Pumpkin Generation, since this world is definitely pumpkin themed. The Island is not shaped like a pumpkin through, it still isn't that pumpkin themed, but it definitely has an autumn vibe. You might have been able to guess based on the name, that It's an autumn world. I know how much you love that. The world is designed for that cute family gameplay you love so much! There's plenty for Sims of all ages to do here. You'll love the Enchanted Library and Giftshop! There is just so much about it, that screams CJ's style of play. You can even buy a special creature there, that can help you get rich! You will not see it through, unless you know where to look.
Although it is not specifically Halloween themed, there are a large number of magical things located on this Island, so its also great for occults in addition to family gameplay. Some of the homes as well as many of the venues, were even built with certain occults, such as vampires, witches, werewolves, or fairies in mind. One house was furnished for all four of those, plus a ghost. There's also another house designed for a family of fairies. Pumpkin Spice was intended for your pets as well, since I know you love them too. It includes a dog park, cat jungle, and an equestrian center as well as a horse ranch. Many of the homes, and two of the five apartments are meant for pets as well as sims. The largest residential lot is a 40 by 50 that already has a home on it. The largest empty residential lot is a 40 by 40. Sorry I did not have enough room for a 60 by 60 lot for legacy challenges. 40 by 40 is still not too small through.
This world uses all expansion packs, plus the premium content adds enough gameplay for another full expansion pack! ( Note if you're not CJ, you may not own all the store content I used for the world, as I created it with just him in mind, so I may have went a bit overboard and do not care ).
Here's a list of all the store content you will need for Pumpkin Spice. It is too much to list here
You can download the world via this link.
I did not make a saved game file this time, in part to save time, and in part because you normally don't care about worlds being pre populated that much. However, if you insist CJ, you could pick maybe eight to ten homes, and I could create sims for them and some ghosts for the graveyards if you would like. Hopefully you'll be able to use this world in a future live stream or lets play and take advantage of the special premium content items I strategically placed around the Island.

Coastal Roads is ready to be downloaded! The completed version of the world is here along with its official saved game file! This version also includes all of the lots by CJplays. Thank you CJ!

The map requires every single expansion pack and stuff pack with the exception of Katy Perry Sweet Treats as that is is the only pack I do not own. In addition it uses the following free store objects

Modern HDTV by Webbsta Industries
Honeycomb Bookshelf ( I'm having trouble finding this one in the store for some reason. Hope its still available )

You can download the world via the exchange here
As an alternative you can download the world via Media File, if you are unable to download it via the exchange for some reason, but I would prefer you download it via the exchange
You can download the official saved game file here
( It should also be noted that you cannot run the official saved game file without this current version of the map installed, otherwise it will not run. )
Here are the two additional lots that use premium store content
You can download the Coastal Roads Farmers Market Here
It uses the Humble Harvest Stands, but its not listed as doing so on the exchange
You can also download the Modern Boardwalk Here
If you download either of the extra lots, make sure you take a screenshot of the name and the description in case it gets deleted. You can than follow the instructions on where to put it.
If you would like to get a better look at the two extra premium content lots before downloading them, you can do that right here
Hope everyone here enjoys Coastal Roads now that it has been completed
Upadate 11/1/2024
Sorry I just noticed this in the map description on the Exchange.
I forgot to edit that text before uploading it to Mediafire and The Exchange. Just to clear things up, this is the final version. Sorry for any confusion that may have caused

Final Version of Coastal Roads Coming Soon!
The world, along with its saved game file should be finished and ready for its official release sometime between Monday October 21st, and Monday November 4th. I wish could be a bit more specific, but my work schedule rather erratic, and there are some other things I need to deal with as well, but either way, it should be completed and released very soon.
The world will finally include the additional lots created by CJplays. You're seeing a preview of one in the screenshot below

A Preview of the Extra Lots for Coastal Roads
Here are the two extra lots that you will be able to download separately when the final version of Coastal Roads is out. I might upload them right now, but the world is currently lacking the lot addresses. Both use premium content, so I thought it would be best to upload these separately to the exchange after the world is completed. Now for a small preview of what they will look like after you place them down in the world.
The first one is the Coastal Roads Farmers Market

The Second one is the Modern Boardwalk

Hello. I was wondering if you are the creator of the Sims 3 world Justinburg? I wanted to give credit for it when I post screenshots when I start playing there. The forum thread is gone for that world and another I'll be playing in.
Yes, I think I was. I created a world called Justinburg a long time ago. If I remember correctly, I ran into a lot of problems with that one because I chose to include multiples of the same rabbit hole. I don't remember if I ended up removing the extras. Little bit of Trivia. I named it after my brother, and interestingly enough, we're celebrating his birthday today, because we were unable to celebrate on his actual birthday.

The Second Beta for Coastal Roads is here!
The second beta is out. I announced the first one earlier this year. I also made a separate post talking about the pride flag crosswalks I created for the world. This screenshot is of the first version of the world, but for the most part, its very similar to how it looks now. It is missing the lots that CJplays will create, that assuming nothing goes wrong will be included in the final version of the map

The map requires every single expansion pack and stuff pack with the exception of Katy Perry Sweet Treats as that is is the only pack I do not own. In addition it uses the following free store objects
No Tricks, Just Treats
More Halloween Treats
More Holiday Presents
Weba Yayfoo
Modern HDTV by Webbsta Industries
Honeycomb Bookshelf ( I'm having trouble finding this one in the store for some reason. Hope its still available )
Let there be Sims!
( The download no longer exists as this version of Coastal Roads is out of Date. You can however download the finished version via this post ). When the final version is released, the map and the saved game file will be a separate download, but for now you will have to download them together. Please make sure you playtest the map using the saved game file. The current version of Coastal Roads will have to be installed for it to work. Make sure you delete the previous version if you had it installed on your computer
Given the custom pride crosswalks, I made sure to include two same sex couples, along with my first transgender sim. I hope that you like them.
I am also creating some extra lots that you will be able to download separately when the final version of the map is released, that use some premium store content.
Now that that's over with, here are some additional, more up to date screenshots of what the world currently looks like. Most of the sims in the pictures below are ones that I created, but a few of them are NPC townies. You will need to load the saved game file, in order to encounter them. There will not be any graveyard ghosts in the saved game file, until the final version of the map.

So what do you guys think so far? Please let me know if there is anything you like or dislike about the world and if there is anything that could be improved upon. Also, please let me know what you think of my sims

Coastal Road's Pride Flag Crosswalks!
I recently uploaded the Beta for Coastal Roads, my latest Sims 3 Custom World, and shared it here on Tumblr.
As someone who is an ally of the LGBTQ community, or at least someone who tries to be, I like Pride Month, and sympathize with their fight for equality even through I have never been a member of that community. I've also always wanted to make my own custom crosswalks for a Sims 3 custom world, but never got around to doing so until now. Please let me know what you think. Sorry if I wasn't able to include your own particular pride flag. I just thought that I would include four or five of the most common ones.
Keep in mind that since the world is still a work in progress, these areas might look somewhat different in the final version. I'm even thinking about adding a couple more residential lots, and I have my reasons, but unless I made some mistake that you can point out here, the pride flag crosswalks should still look the same
Here is the Rainbow Pride Crosswalk and the Trans Pride Crosswalk

On the top here is the Lesbian Pride Flag Crosswalk and the on the bottom is the Bisexual Pride Crosswalk

I somehow didn't know until recently that there was a gay male pride flag, but when I found out, I felt like I had to include it

You can download my pride flag crosswalks here. You can use them in your Sims 3 world if you would like, just so long as you give me credit. I know can't copy right them, but I worked really hard on them so that is only fair. Sorry I could not get this out in time for pride month, but it will be nice for next Pride Month.
