It’s been two years since I played Omori for the first time and after rediscovering the soundtrack it feels like I’m reliving all the feelings I had back then

I had to draw this it kept worming its way back into my head

I hope y’all like it as much as I liked working on it

I definitely need to get another playthrough under my belt sometime soon

Y’all ever listen to RadioHead and start tearing up and then that inspires you to just whip out procreate and paint something cause yeah me neither lmao

Sometimes I also sit down and have the naive thought that I’m gonna be able to fly away from all my problems but those thought are hysterical and useless

The truth is we need to show up everyday and do our best even if that means just the bare minimum to be alive

It’s been a while since I’ve made something so I’m glad that I now know I can find inspiration to keep moving forward even if it’s painfully slow

First post of 2025!

I actually finished this piece early in the morning on New Year’s Eve and have no idea why I’ve been procrastinating much on posting it lol

We starting the year yearning just as much as Taro from dandadan was yearning to be with his love

Let’s make this a great year

My very first post was this chainsaw man rendition of the maximum the hormone album Bu-ikikaesu specifically the song ChuChu Lovely MuniMuni MuraMura PrinPrin Boron Nururu ReroRero (long ass song name but it’s a banger) that was featured in chapter 137 of the manga

After working on some of the other album covers I felt more comfortable going back and coloring it in and I honestly feel like I managed to elevate the piece overall and I am very happy with the way it came out

It’s funny every time I get an idea for something I realize it’s chainsaw man related so I’m going to try and diversify a bit lol

The album cover I decided to cover this time is from the album Echo by of mice and men specifically the song Obsolete

This song explores themes of hopelessness and is very much were we find Denji at the beginning of Chainsaw Man

He had nothing and was drowning in debt (relatable) but was given a second chance at life when Pochita became his heart and gave him the means to finally achieve his dreams

This time I didn’t do an album cover

I’ve been obsessed with Epic The Musical for a while now and decided to finally take a stab at making some fan art

The Underworld is one of my favorite songs from the entirely of the series and the amount of times I’ve teared up listening to it is not funny and maybe even a little worrisome but regardless I had a good time making this

The album I’ve decided to work on this time around is Mezmerize by System of a Down

This album and specifically the song I’ve chosen to accompany this post altered my brain chemistry forever

I also just really love Dandadan I’ve been following the manga since around the release of chapter 34 and I’ve been loving the anime adaptation so far

I have no idea if the next post I make is going to be another album cover design but what I can promise is that it will be another of my hyper fixations
