When I was a child growing up in the 1980s, the radio was my main way of discovering music. I often used to sit in my bedroom listening while doing stuff or making mixtapes. Today we're bombarded with multimedia and music has become much more of a visual thing. I'm not necessarily against that, as video done well can compliment a song, but sometimes it's nice to just listen without any other senses being involved. So I've decided to do a new series called In The Room, which is basically just me in my rawest form, in a room with acoustic guitar singing into one room mic. That's refreshing for me because I don't have much technology in the way and hopefully for you, it's a more direct, immediate way to enjoy the songs. I'll add more episodes as and when I feel to. The official video for the instrumental Smudge Stick is out now on Youtube, Bitchute and Odysee. Although it was one of my earliest pieces of music, it only received a proper recording in 2020, alongside another instrumental from that time, Kundalini.

From the album 'End Of The Strangers' (2019). Written in 2009 and first recorded in 2012 but perhaps more relevant than ever in the times we live in.

An instrumental dating back to 1999 when I first recorded it on a 4-track cassette portastudio with only acoustic guitar and a cheap Casio keyboard. With more instruments and better equipment at my disposal I recorded this version during the summer of 2018. Here is the brand new video.
