A dark comedy about a cult leader who suddenly comes to his senses, realises that running a cult actually fucking sucks, tries to quit several times but the followers are too clingy, until he realises that the only way to get rid of them is to fake his own death in the most credible, believable, tangible way possible, in a way where absolutely none of them could deny that they really saw their leader straight-up die right in front of their eyes. Wouldn't even cross their minds to doubt that the corpse isn't the real deal. Their idea that their precious leader could never die (he said so once, while on cocaine) is shattered, their whole world is shattered.

So the former cult leader weasels out of it and starts a brand new, completely normal life somewhere else, happily pretending that absolutely none of that ever happened.

And then the followers find him again.

you know what’s a trope that never gets tired is when theyre bouncing around in the plot and suddenly an important name crops up- it’s blorbo bleebus. and some dude is like who the hell is blorbo bleebus. and we immediately cut to our new friend blorbo bleebus pulling the most absolutely buckwild shit you’ve ever seen

dean would absolutely lose cas at grocery stores and go around asking people "hey have you seen a little guy in a trench coat? 'bout yea high? [hand at his shoulder] peach fuzz, devastatingly handsome? sensible shoes? just kind of a weird, dorky little guy?"

everybody is on the lookout for some short, questionably dressed mystery man and meanwhile cas, 6' tall, shaped not unlike a shot putter, is standing at the checkout scrutinizing the tabloids like "...i'm not sure there's any veracity to these claims" while the cashier's register throws a fatal error bc she accidentally lasered him with the barcode scanner and it saw infinity

what sickens me is that cas would literally let the world burn if it means dean was alive but because he loves dean he would never let the world burn even for him... that's how much he loves him, like imaging loving someone so much you'd rather lose them than fail them? and I know cas would fight God himself if he had any chance of bringing him back, and he would rather be in hell if it meant he was there with dean I'll go cry myself to sleep now thanks

Hey! Is there anyone who has been active in the Supernatural fandom since at least 2016 who doesn't mind me going through their archive and reblogging old art?

I've been archiving and tagging art according to their year for a while now, but I am getting out of blogs to go through, so I am looking for some new sources :)

I love, love, LOVE it when I can tell a fic author has integrated their specialized knowledge in a fic. I was reading a fic that at some point included the character going to visit an art therapist, and it's so clear that the author is an art therapist themself, and the details included are just immaculate and I love it. I've previously read about a character doing fencing for no other reason than the author clearly wanting to write a sport they understood. A character being given a hyperfixation on bugs just so the author can infodump themselves.

I eat it up every time, it brings such a smile to my face
