FT006: F*ck!

It has been about twenty days from my last post. Since then I've been to the On The Run Tour, visited Los Angeles and Vegas for the first time, and sold a pair of kicks. I also managed to get into debt, not submit my design into this online competition, and get into a fight with my girlfriend which I am clueless about. F*CK!

It is about 1:23am as I sit here and ponder what I need to do for the day, week, month. I start to get a sense of Déjà vu except in that scenario my girlfriend brakes up with me. Not that this matters to you, but I just want to vent.

I just heard a story about a 26 year old chick who is going through a divorce after she caught her husband cheating on her in their house. To make the matters worst, she just found out she has cancer. I know my problems aren't about shit ish when hearing about something like that. That's just fucked messed up. Yeah, I don't make much money, my job is ok, I am still feeling lost with what I am doing, but I am doing much better then a lot of other folks. I need to appreciate the people and things that I have, because it could definitely be worst.

Random: I played about two hours of NBA 2K14 today, I won one, lost one. I really ain't about ish in that game and this is probably why my day sucks right now.

My lids are getting heavy. Doubt I can make it to the bed. Peace.

From time to time, I look at this message and reflect. I remember all the people who said I wouldn't amount to anything. I think of all the odds I defied and in the end how I still continue to persevere. I feel uncertain about the future at time, uncertain in what I am doing with my life. But I know God has something big planned for me, I just need to work hard and believe in Him.

FT004: Do Something Different Today

Today I decided that I was going to join a design competition. I normally sway away from these things for two reason:

I don't like to work for free.

It isn't worth my time.

I don't believe it is a waste of time, because I haven't had the desire to design in the first place. This now gives me a design goal to not only challenge myself but sharpen my skills. I also see it as a way to get my name out there. There is also financial incentive. The grand prize is somewhere in the seven thousand mark. So if I win, it will help me pay some bills. I plan on finishing this project by tomorrow. Stay tune and I will share my progress.

The other thing that I am doing is writing a blog post, which is something I told myself I would do more often. My advice do something different today.
