Only For Me

Through the forest in my mind Where things are all divine In the trees and off a branch Where I can keep a stance In my soul and in my heart Where love will never part Vibrant ways and good emotions Well that’s a good start Through negativity and misery There is still optimism Even when love turns it’s back on you Who’s to blame? I’m not a victim Happiness and clarity So different from a prism But you, we want it to be clear So different from a prison But we can be imprisoned For all the all wrong reasons When your at war with yourself And no one can call treason Broken, battered, and tamed But you still remain unshamed Even a lion can find himself naked Mangled in mange Diseased and still living Thriving and still giving They always say men lie like dogs But what mutt have you ever seen bark and hide his paws I guess humans have laws Except for when it comes to each other Some abuse the woman they love And would kill their brother I’m not much different from them In the simple sense that we are all men Sometimes I don’t sleep Sometimes I don’t breathe But I never truly die Almost in spite of what they believe Eventually we all flourish like trees Or a delicate rose bush It’s funny or how leaning towards happiness or bliss Can come from one push Death isn’t sweet But it sure is relaxing No real spiritual thought Or repetitive acting Not necessarily a movie roll But that does sound good To gracefully fall being yourself Instead of something you should there’s a show about this Maybe a cartoon or two How life can be so animated But sometimes so real for you

Pray for Prey

You know we can’t keep running. Sooner or later as people we must face these tragedies, whirlwinds, and high tides. And with those eyes you can you truly see, a world with no face. We all very familiar with the way the world looks, but not familiar with the way it slowly decimates. They’ve been lying to you. They tell you there’s no hope, there’s no freedoms, there’s no love, but once again you didn’t even look. Didn’t look pass the skin, didn’t look pass the hair, and most of all you didn’t look pass the past. That was your biggest mistake. You see it’s not a world that feeds on you and I aimlessly so willing to tear us apart. You see it’s a world that needs to be fed knowledge, ambition, and love in order to truly revolve. I am done with revolutions, but I’m not done with resolving issues. So here we are in the mist of the fire storm and you still run like there’s somewhere to hide. Nowhere to hide, simply just places to go. You cannot hide from pessimism, you cannot hide from tyranny, and never will you be able to hide from fate. And that’s simply what has brought us here today. It’s changing the fate of the world by changing yourself Believing in the dreams, schemes, and and high beams that other individuals have built within themselves to be free Believing that if you jump into the sky that you won’t fly or float necessarily, but having that belief that you never have to come down. So what are we running for? Fear is only meant drive you to ignorance, ignorance is only alive to abide by no ones rules. To be fearful of life is to be fearful of man, and how could you ever conquer the world if you can’t even understand. There’s a world out there for you and me, and I mean together not individually. There’s a woman out there who cries out in pain, not even because she’s physically hurt but she’s here people dying in vein. There’s a man out there who will disagree, because he’ll tell you it’s all the same in love and misery. And so sadly there’s a brother out there that will you never get to see again. And do you really want to know why? He’s not dead, he’s not gone, he’s still running; and he simply never stopped to look back to see that all that time you were right behind him. Don’t ever leave the person in the minor behind. You know they might even catch up with you too……

Beauty And The Art

Some of the most beautiful pictures are painted rough around the edges Slick, divine, and majestic But just not understood by man when created But as time goes by we all seem to find the significance in things, the beauty in the concept, the thrive of the unknown appreciation, and the enduring impact it leaves once understood how great it really is You see and that's the real beauty When you realize how important it is once it's gone But there's the love When you realize if you can cherish it and hold it dear it won't ever go away It's almost like life is art A beautiful misconceived image blended together only understood once finished and done Not done and finished But we can't expect to understand everything Some things best lost then found again even if they aren't physically there But what's matter if it doesn't matter in the first place What's a mind if can't function on its own What's a man if he never had adolescents What's a heart if it can't feel for itself But there's the painting Pieced as one vessel to operate the mind to wander But that's life and love too Always chasing the intangibles that you want to connect to make something very real out of those dreams you hold so damn close to you There's the beauty again You always have to find that, because if you can't that happiness is just a display in a museum for them to amuse and abuse Not for you to elate and appreciate And that's what it all simply comes down to Painting that vivid beautiful image that means the world to you That you can appreciate care for and show to the world in the most precious lucid light And my best piece of art just happens to be the love I've modeled with you You aren't the most beautiful piece of art I've ever made You are the greatest piece of artwork I will always love and appreciate Even if you're gone......even I'm gone...... And that's why there love is still here and it will always be here If I'm not mistaken that's the real beauty in art.....

In The Mist

Everything is real; even lies and things that don't exist. It's not just if you imagine it can come true.....that's the truth. You see even when you don't t think you exist you do; you still breathe, you reconcile, you loath. You want to be gone, but if it was that easy you'd be here. Right here with me laying in the nothingness waiting on the fall. The fall of humanity, society, and ones self. You can only be worth as much as the thoughts that carefully spiral in your head. If you're a dreamer let you're pure soul set you free, if you can't believe in yourself believe in me, and if you think we are all truly worth something soon you'll see. We're nothing. We are absolutely nothing. Moments caught in time, fragments of imaginations, and a presence that only exist through the cracks of a feeble mind. There is no real gain because we can never get back what is most important. Time, a good friend to some and adversary to most. Either always getting you nearer or just making it seem like you're close. Either pushing you forward or keeping you locked away with your sanity, demons, and horrible ghost. Vile and putrid life can be; more bitter than sweet, more gloom than bliss. And to go through all of this knowing that we don't exist. A tragedy of a world if I do say so myself.....but I don't.....and neither do you....
