You ever think about Catching Fire AFTER SOTR, cuz I do, cuz I do think about Haymitch when he was reaped on his birthday, this time truthfully, I do think about the fact that he was willing to volunteer for Peeta because Katniss practically begged him to, I do think about his promise to stay sober and not being able to handle it, I do think about not only his friend Chaff being reaped, but his own MENTORS, Mags and Wiress, and the father of the boy with whom he once became allies, Beetee, as well, I think about Haymitch who was forced to choose one of his tributes and sacrifice all the others for the revolution he failed to start.

I think about his reaction when he watched the arena blow up. I think about his reaction when he watched Mags, Wiress and Chaff die and Peeta being captured by the Capitol.

I reread pjo recently and in the last book, when they run to confront Kronos, the bridge between the elevator and Olympus breaks and Annabeth almost falls down but Percy is able to catch her and pull her up and I don’t remember the exact words but he said something like “I won’t let you go” and yall.
