Heyy! I was planning to make a tiktok or smt for the reveal but some of you guys wanted progress pics so here it is!

Anyways yeah I decided to commit to the bit and make the symbols represent important ppl in my life.

The moon and sun in the middle are me and my girlfriend (I know it's a little cliche but I promise it means smt to us)

The lavender is my grandmother bcs she used to put lavender oil in my hair every morning until the end of middle school bcs she said it prevented lice

The shooting star eye and wheat are what three of my closest friends chose for themselves

Soo I accidentally ended up making Mollymauk's coat as my senior prom dress...

The initial idea was a green 1850/60's type gown

Then when we were fabric shopping I decided none of the greens caught my eye and a dark red color was better

After that when we went to pick the coset I thought "hm what if the corset was more visible and it had a more medieval air to it

Finally when we were looking for some beading to layer the dress with I ended up not buting any and said that I'd just embroider it myself on the corset

I am now at home embroidering said corset and god fucking damn it I'm making Molly's coat as a dress

Does anyone know what the actual fuck is going on with the Rachel Zegler hate?? I knew she tweeted "free Palestine" and gave a few annoying interviews so Disney put all the blame of their shitty ass movie flopping on her instead of Gal Gadot who is an active Israel supporter, not to mention insanely untalented and is actually why ppl aren't watching the movie. So I said surely someone must have covered this ridiculous thing I'm seeing.

Insta, nada

Well not nothing actually there were a fuck ton of headlines and clipped interviews to purposefully make her look worse. At least that's what I gathered because I couldn't find raw info anywhere. All there seems to be is how she's "crazy for involving personal politics" and "did this to herself" like bro can't you just show me what she did and I'll decide if I like her or not??

Even the most neutral looking video I found unnecessarily belittled her and I only managed to find a few ppl on this site who also think it's a bit weird.

I remember this also happened with Brie Larson. I liked her back in 2019 or smt and all I could find on the internet was ppl exaggerating how her one mildly annoying behavior in an interview signaled that she's a horrible person.

I don't even personally like Rachel Zegler that much. It's just that this industry standard of shutting up and staying in line makes my stomach turn.

I did open a twitter acc recently (along with my other bigilion accs on youtube, insta, tiktok and pinterest) but yk what fuck it I'm only gonna be active on here and use all my other platforms purely for posting art bcs nowhere makes me feel comfortable enough but here.

Like somehow the mutual understanding of the "don't like don't interact" fandom culture here makes me feel safe.

Anywho, I'm looking for mutuals to make this place a little more fun. I like arcane, baldurs gate 3, interview with the vampire, mythology of all kinds, life is strange, disco elysium, aurora, the crane wives, the amazing devil, big theif, lady lamb and many more. Soo I accidentally saw a leak of Arcane act 2 and I have some thoughts. Continue at your own risk.

There's a scene after what looks like Cait and Maddie slept together. And besides my little caitvi shipper heart breaking I think there's a bigger problem at hand.

From a character standpoint, even if it's true that Maddie is around 20, she is of a lower rank than Caitlyn and it means that Caitlyn used the power imbalance and Maddie's admiration for her own gain.

But from a larger perspective, the scene makes me sick to my stomach because in all honesty maddie looks like a teen. I don't care if her canon age is 20, she is a character with the purpose of creating conflict for caitvi through this scene. Making a character with a sexual role look and act like a teen is a choice made by the producers. It would have been fine if she looked her age and was still naive if that was the intention. I still wouldn't have liked it but it would have been fine.

Anyways the scene might now be deleted for all we know so I'm gonna wait for act 2 to come out.

So this is Milk & Honey by Billie Marten and I've always thought of this as how Vi's view of Caitlyn changes going from the sweet innocent image of s1 Caitlyn to the much more brutal and revenge driven Caitlyn in s2. Also it says Oil and Water.

Right Side of My Neck by Faye Webster. This isn't that nuanced I just think it specifically gives the vibe of the hug they shared at the bridge and when Cait nuzzled into Vi's neck.

Silk by Wolf Alice. This song actually starts with what seems to be Jinx's Pov in s1 but since Jinx and Caitlyn have so many parallels (trust me I wrote an essay on it) it can also be interpreted ad Cait's change in s2. Like "It's such a shame, she used to be so delightful." And the next part is Vi's Pov when she's dealing with all the heartbreak and trauma in act 2 of s2. BUT the part that hurts the most is "There's love that is a saviour. But that ain't no love of mine" when Vi is talking about Caitlyn.

Speed The Collapse by Metric. This is actually not Caitvi centric but it's there anyway. More like the war between Piltover and Zaun. The ignorance of Piltover and how Noxus came in and changed the tides "Drifting in from distant shores"

No Fun by Novo Amor and Gia Margaret. This is basically the scene where Vi comes to her old house and hallucinates her mother and powder.

Pristine by Snail Mail. GOD I put this here before s2 but it really hit the bullseye with irony didn't it. This is what I call Vi's hopeless yearning.

Good Heart by Indigo De Souza. Caitlyn trying to manage her grief, responsibilities and feelings for Vi while also assuring her that they're doing the right thing. Also "You've got a good heart" PLSSS.

Sunday Shoes by Lady Lamb. I interpret the "wolves" in this song as enforcers. The song is basically Caitlyn comforting Vi by reassuring her that she's done all she can for Jinx and she can rest now. An enforcer, "wolf", Caitlyn, will take care of her. (Hefty dose of copeium)

Punisher by Phoebe Bridgers. pitfighter Vi and dictator Caitlyn just thinking about each other and their choices...

Vacation by Florist. Cait processing her grief and her whole family situation.

Escape From The Horns of The Goat by Lillian VanDaam. There were no lyrics on spotify so I found these from tiktok. This song is SO s2 Vi who yearns for Caitlyn in the middle of a war but also doesn't want to do harm to the innocent people of Zaun.

Welcome to Eden by Samia. This was before s2, like most of the songs here, so it's not too accurate but it's basically Vi blaming herself for all that goes wrong. And yes the first part, the "antidote" is Jinx as they make her into this symbol of resistance.

I'm Your Man by Mitski. So I think of this last one as an interchanging duet where the blue is Cait and red is Vi. It's pretty self explanatory. S2 angst nom nom. I'm obsessed as you can see.
