One year with Dreams-Help-101

Hi! Lately I have been drowning in homework and studies, hence why I haven’t been very active. Soon I’ll be graduating and going off to gymnasiet, the Swedish equivalent to college, so It’s a busy time for me getting all my grades where I want them. But I still miss this blog, and I’d like to start updating regularly again!

How do you know for certain that you have a crush

Honestly, it depends on the person. Some people feel like they need to put a label on their feelings, therefore calling it a crush. But really, the true meaning of the word is just having romantic feelings for someone, which can be very different for different people. There aren’t any specific guidelines to having a crush that specify whether you have one or not. If you like a person and you feel like you have more than platonic feelings for them, then you could consider it a crush. But there’s no need to label it, really. If you like someone, you just do and whether you choose to call it something specific is up to you. Hope this helps ♥

And so are you, anon. Whether your crush likes you or not can’t be decided by you, sadly. You can look at wikihow articles on ‘’how to be more attractive’’, watch youtube videos, take classes, but in the end it’s pointless. Love is beautiful when both parts fall in love with their true selves. If your crush doesn’t like you, it doesn’t mean that there’s something wrong with you, and I think you know that. Maybe you two just aren’t meant to be, which is fine, even though it hurts. You will find someone who can return your love, I promise. ♥

I really need to get myself together and be more active on here, so I figured I'd start with creating some playlist for different occasions, this one for studying! Of course, this suits for all kinds of passive ‘’activities’’ where one has to reconnect from reality a bit and just flow into their work; like painting or reading. The songs I have chosen are relaxed with a consistent beat and vocals (if any) that blend easily into the background, which makes for some great studying sounds.

26 - What would you like to change about yourself? There are so many things, both big and small, that I don’t like about myself. Actually, so many to the point where, if I had the opportunity to change them all, there would be almost nothing of the real me left. I’d love to change my personality, how controlling I am and just how ‘much’’ I am in general, but at the same time I’m glad that I can’t.

42 - Do you really relate to your zodiac? I actually do! I am a Capricorn, and I can truly relate to the main traits of my sign so much. ^^

76 - Do you want to be in a relationship? I just want someone whom I can feel comfortable with and support and keep company through hard times. The relationship part doesn’t have any value to me, as long as my significant other can love me unconditionally and with respect.

Is it normal to feel like you haven’t found your “people” yet? I mean like friends, I don’t feel like I’ve met the friends that I want to have for life yet. Is this normal? I want a very solid groups of friends but idk how realistic that is, do you ever find your “people”? Sorry this is a bit sad lol! Don’t feel as if you have to answer :)

Don’t worry anon, you are definitely not alone with feeling like you haven’t found your niche yet ^^ It’s normal to not be completely happy with the friends you have right now, because most likely, they are probably not the best matches for you. But it’s important to keep in mind that even if you were at a place in life where you could be completely satisfied with your friend group, they will probably not be with you forever. I don’t know your age but I can safely say that you have a whole lot of your life left, and you will meet new friends. People will come, people will go; and so will you. Maybe you someday decide to move to a new place, get a new job or study somewhere else. Neither your life or contacts will always stay the same, as you will be introduced to new things and people with time. Don’t worry, growing and improving comes from being able to accept how things are and that they won’t always be like that. Have patience and someday you will definitely feel like you’ve walked the right path and found your place. ♥
