Happy Birthday Donald, Daisy and Della Duck! - Happy Father's Day! - Donald with his nephews and his family - Quack Pack Week - Duckverse in June - My style and my version - Ducktales, Duck comics, Quack Pack and Duckverse - Happy 85th Birthday Daisy Duck! - Quack Pack AU

Sorry I'm already a week late, I had some problems, but I managed to finish it as I usually do. And I drew it related to the topics that cover two organizational weeks. On June 7, 1940, Donald’s classic short “Mr Duck Steps Out” was shown, featuring Daisy Duck for the first time. 9/6/1934 The Classic Short “The Wise Little Hen” was shown and Donald Duck appeared there for the first time. Donald Duck will become one of the main stars of not only Disney, but also cartoon films, comics and video games at all. Certainly there is no need to tell his history. And since Della, Donald’s twin, was born on the same day as Donald, then happy birthday to her too, in addition to Donald and Daisy. Happy birthday Donald, Daisy and Della Duck!

This time I drew them in Quack Pack style, or rather in Quack Pack AU (my version) celebrating their birthdays together, since their days coincide, plus Donald's birthday is also Friday the 13th, which happened this year, so another reason to celebrate! Plus of course Father's Day, which is celebrated every third Sunday in June. What makes me love Quack Pack is definitely the relationships between Unca Donald and his teenage nephews. Even though they had problems with each other, they looked out for each other and understood each other and had fun together. Especially the episodes "Ducky Dearest", "Phoniest Home Videos" and "Noisy Neighbors". And maybe the only animation that showed that besides the scenes in Ducktales and Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas. So it's not worth celebrating Donald's birthday without his nephews. In addition to Donald, Daisy and Della Duck, there are of course Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie, Phooey Duck, Daisy's nieces April, May and June Duck, Webby Vanderquack, Scrooge McDuck, Gyro Gearloose and his nephew Newton Gearloose (plus Little Helper), Fethry Duck and his nephew Dugan Duck. Combined from the Duck comics, OG Ducktales and Quack Pack creating versions of them in their own ways. In addition to Donald being a protector for his nephews and Daisy being a protector for her nieces, there are also other parents, such as Della Duck who is the mother of Huey, Dewey, Louie and Phooey, Gyro who is Uncle Newton, Fethry who is Uncle Dugan and Scrooge who is uncle to his adopted granddaughter-niece Webby. And they all enjoy three birthdays plus Father's Day together eating cherries and strawberry shortcake. My only apology is that it turned out like this, I had some troubles these days, so it turned out like this. Sorry! And sorry for the delay!

Ducktales 2017 is not for everyone, and it's not for me, to be honest. I watched it and there were some good scenes there, but most of it just wasn't to my taste. It's a complete departure from the original comics and classic cartoons. But it's true that Ducktales 2017 (like other modern cartoons) suffered from adding too many characters to the point where they didn't get the same focus, and you can't fit that many characters into three seasons. In any case, I completely agree with what you said.

What are actually your thoughts on DuckTales 2017 reboot?

It took me a long time to answer because I had to think about it for a while.

I think DT17 is a fine kids show, but it lacks a lot of maturity depth in its themes ans story in addition to missing the point of nearly every character it adapts.

To me, show's problems begin with the main cast. In the comics you had pretty much only 3 main characters: Donald Scrooge and HDL (which in the comics are considered one character). This makes sense for the comics, it makes the cast simple, recognizable and fleshed out while giving time to side characters. Now, DT17 decided to split the triplets to make the cast wider for the TV setting, but while they did that they also added a lot of other characters, and this quickly got out of hand.

DT17 has 8 main characters: Scrooge, Donald, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Mrs. Beackly and Luanchpad. And 9 after Della comes back. This doesn't allow all the main cast to shine like Donald who was extremely neglected.

The worst part about this cast change is that they changed the focus from Scrooge and Donald. And no matter how much they try these kids aren't nearly as interesting as Donald and Scrooge in the comics. Due to this change stories deal with kids' conflicts like sleepovers or the Funzo's episodes. Makes the show feel a lot more childish.

I find stories about Scrooge going to find treasure simply to get richer or Donald trying and failing at his new job(s) much more compelling than what DT17 has to offer.

Scrooge and his adventures actually take a really big hit in this show. DT17 feels afraid of making Scrooge morally dubious. He's barely greedy or stingy in the show and there's not really any focus on his money. We don't see Scrooge being stingy moments like the crashout over the kids finding out about Della isn't very believable because I don't see why the kids would think Scrooge wouldn't spend money trying to save her.

Btw, in that whole story Scrooge did nothing wrong! Yes, he built Della a spaceship but as we see later, the rocket itself was perfectly safe and functional, Della only crashed because she flew it without preparations and during a cosmic storm! And after she did Scrooge nearly went bankrupt trying to save her. He genuinely did nothing wrong, and that's a shame! Because I want him to be in the wrong! The best part of Scrooge's crashout with his family in The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck is that it was completely his fault for being a despicable asshole. After that, the writers tried to lift responsibility from their main characters even more by making it so Bradford told Della about the spear of Seline and imo it doesn't really matter because Della was an adult woman who should be able to take control over her actions (especially while having 3 kids on the way).

As I'm writing this I realize I can't put all my thoughts on this series into one message so I'll write one final point. The main theme of the shoe, the importance of family is stupid.

Not only is it cliché and honestly pretty childish it doesn't really mean anything in the show. As far as I remember the show doesn't really explain why family is important. It doesn't go far family is good and maybe that loneliness is not fun, and that's incredibly basic! Not to mention that by the end of the show the term family loses all of its meaning because Scrooge considers everyone his family, the rodents his great nephew saw once, his coworkers and so many more. It just devalues family and makes it pointless. But at the same time it also overvalues it because nobody is allowed to have any individuallity outside of the family and do their own thing, and once they do their own thing the family also claims it. Personally I find it a pretty toxic approach.

Overall, DuckTales 2017 is an okay show, but it makes incredibly nuanced characters very flat and childish and unlike what they used to be while lacking any depth to its own themes. I think it can be fun on a first viewing but once I start thinking about what I saw it all falls apart.

Happy Birthday Donald and Daisy Duck!

Although it has passed, given that Daisy's birthday is June 7th, because on that date she first appeared in the classic short called "Mr Duck Steps Out" in 1940, as well as Donald's birthday which is June 9th because on that date in 1934 he first appeared in the classic short called "The Wise Little Hen", we still wish them a happy birthday who marked all this and without whom, as without Donald's nephews, there would be no Quack Pack. Even though I know it's past, I wish everyone a happy Easter once again, according to the Julian calendar, as well as the one that has passed, as well as a happy belated birthday to Huey, Dewey and Louie and a happy birthday to April, May and June. And together with their friends and relatives. And they are present at Donald's jubilee 90th birthday. I drew as the end of the celebration of the Easter holidays as well as the birthday of the best triplets for this year.

On April 15, 1938, the famous trio appeared in the classic Donald Duck short, called “Donald’s Nephews”, which will change the history of the Duckverse in part. Finally, that time has come, when the birthday of the best duck, Donald Duck, is celebrated. Yes, he's celebrating his 90th birthday this year and since he deserves all the special attention, I've drawn a set of all the versions of Donald Duck from his first appearance to today. On June 9, 1934, Donald Duck made his first appearance in a classic short called "The Wise Little Hen" by Silly Symphony and invented by Walt Disney to be reimagined and modernized by Carl Barks, Al Taliaferro, Jack King and Jack Hannah and other authors. In the beginning, a duck with a long beak and excellent trolling, but then he became a grumpy and jerk duck, and later a very family and friendly duck. Yes, Donald Duck describes each and every one of us here, because we all share similar personalities to Donald Duck. And there is the first prototype of the character Donald Duck (from 1931, appeared in the book "he Adventures of Mickey Mouse"), a baby Donald Duck with a red balloon (if anyone has seen the Quack Pack episode "Can't Take a Yolk" knows what it's about), there's also Donald Duck as a little boy (from Topolino and European comics like Paperino Paperetto), Donald Duck from the classic shorts, caballero Donald with a sombrero from Don Donald and The Three Caballeros, soldier Donald Duck (WW2 propaganda cartoons movies), Sailor Donald Duck (from OG Ducktales), Donald Duck from comics (Carl Barks, Don Rosa, Romano Scarpa, Carpi, Vicar, Van Horn, Martina, Cavazzano, Midthun, Marco Rota, Carlos Mota and other authors), Donald from Ducktales 2017, Donald Duck in Hawaiian Shirt from Quack Pack, Donald as Superhero Paperinik (Duck Avenger), Donald as Double Duck (Secret Agent), Donald as Maui Mallard (Ninja), Donald from Fantasia 2000, Donald as Wizard from Kingdom Hearts , Donald as Indiana Jones from Quackshot, Detective Donald Duck from European comics, Musketeer Donald Duck from The Three Caballeros, Super Caballero Donald from The Legend of The Three Caballeros and Donald as the villainous Duck of Doom (from the Quack Pack episode "The Really Mighty Ducks"). There are more, but not all of them would fit in one drawing, and I apologize. Also, Duck Avenger was invented on this day. Duck Avenger was created in 1969 in a comic book by Guido Martina and Giovanni Carpi (correct me about the name of the author) and since then Donald has been an avenger and later he will be a real superhero.

Scrooge and Magica (Dimeshipping) as well as Donald and Daisy (Donsy) at a summer party with their family - Happy Birthday Daisy Duck! - A gift for my friends - Duck comics, Ducktales and Duckverse - My version - Duckverse in June

Drawn and completed on June 7th this year.

I wanted to do this for Easter and Mother's Day, but unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to do it, so I moved it to today and related to two events, one related to the birthday of my friend who is a fan of this couple between Scrooge and Magic (Dimeshipping), and the other related to the birthday of Daisy Duck who celebrates today, June 7th and this year turns 85!

Since unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to do something specifically related to her, I did a joint drawing of my favorite couples, which are Donsy (the love affair between Donald and Daisy) and Dimeshipping. Of course, I apologize to those who don't like this, but still this is just my opinion and my way of pairing fictional characters. Of course, besides Scrooge McDuck, Magica de Spell, Donald and Daisy Duck together, where Daisy's birthday is celebrated with a strawberry cake plus strawberries and cherries on the table, there are also their children, that is, relatives from the Duck and De Spell family. Donald Duck as Duck Avenger (Paperinik-Pk) and The Raider with his children and friends - PKNA - Duck comics and Duckverse - My version - Gift for my friends - Happy Birthday Donald Duck!

Hi everyone and sorry I couldn't post my drawings I had planned earlier, I've been having some trouble the last two weeks, but now I'm ok, so I can attend interesting moments, that is, draw my favorite characters and post my drawings. This is my drawing dedicated to my friends who love Duck Avenger (Papernik) and Raider, so I drew them both.

I drew them in the PKNA version, but in my own way. About Duck Avenger, I don't need to talk anymore, but usually in PKNA comics Papernik often clashed with Raider, and they were usually rivals until they became friends later. The Raider, a cocky former thief from the 23rd century who worked for The Organization, however, during the fight against the Duck Avenger turned away from it and became in certain situations also the best frenemy of the Duck Avenger, and there is his son Trip. And here I drew them together, but not only them, but also Raider's son Trip, as well as Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie as little Duck Avengers with their caps together with Trip. Yes, they are together in the 23rd century where Raider lives with his son, in the future Duckburg. In addition to them, there is Omega Chamber (a neutral artificial intelligence created by Everett Ducklair who helps Duck Avenger in the 23rd century in the fight against The Organization and the Euronians), Uno Ducklair (a main and positive artificial intelligence who helps Duck Avenger, but in the 21st century), Odin Eidolon (one of the richest and most powerful people in Duckburg and the world in the 23rd century, as well as the owner of the largest production of androids, by the way, was originally Uno, Duck Avenger’s closest ally and mentor) and Lyla Lay (a journalist and secret agent who works for the Time Police against The Organization and herself comes from the future in the 23rd century and she is also an android duck). Although I wanted to do this last week, I still ended up finishing it now at the time when my favorite character is celebrating his birthday, and also the day when Duck Avenger (Papernik) first appeared. Yes, this is more my headcanon, but I definitely like the dynamic between Paperinik and Raider, and the dynamic between Trip and Donald's nephews would definitely be interesting.

Birthday party for Donald, Daisy and Della Duck! - Happy Birthday Donald, Daisy and Della Duck - Ducktales 2017 - Duckverse June - Week 1 - My Version - Gift for my friends

I drew on June 7th. After a long time, I decided to draw again related to Ducktales 2017, even though I'm not a fan of that series, but as they say everyone deserves a second chance. Is not it? So I decided to draw related to the great jubilee that is being celebrated these days and of course the favorite modern series by many, so I decided to draw Donald Duck, Della Duck and Daisy Duck with their family in Ducktales 2017 format, of course in my style. Because I'm not a fan of Ducktales 2017 style which is really weird for me.

On June 7, 1940, Donald's classic short "Mr Duck Steps Out" was shown, featuring Daisy Duck for the first time. 9/6/1934 The Classic Short "The Wise Little Hen" was shown and Donald Duck appeared there for the first time. Donald Duck will become one of the main stars of not only Disney, but also cartoon films, comics and video games at all. Certainly there is no need to tell his history. Della Duck is first mentioned in the comic book Donald's Nephews, and then made her first appearance in the 1994 comic strip "The Empire Builder from Calisota" by Don Rosa, from The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck. For the first time Della Duck appeared as a mother and adult woman and had a role in the Dutch comic "80 is Prachtig" from 2014, and she appears for the first time in animation in the Ducktales reboot. Also five years ago is the anniversary of the episode "What Ever Happened to Della Duck?!" where officially Della Duck got her role.

Well, since they are honored these days, and especially Donald Duck who is celebrating his 90th anniversary this year, I drew a birthday party where everyone celebrates their birthdays together. Donald, Daisy and Della Duck along with their family and their friends. Because what kind of birthday is it, without your closest ones. Yes, Donald is in the middle since he is definitely the main one, but he suffered a lot in that series so he definitely deserved the best. Finally, that Donald is happy after a long time and can finally rest. Yes, this is how I imagine the end of Ducktales 2017. And with him are his twin sister Della and his favorite love and girlfriend Daisy Duck. Yes, I also drew the characters as I like to imagine them in my Ducktales AU and Quack Pack reboot based on Ducktales 2017 as well as different outfits that would suit them quite well. Since I can't think of anything else, sorry, and I added Donald's nephews also wear caps and most of them wear jeans. Huey and Louie wear backwards hats. Yes, they are teenagers here too. :D And in front of Donald, of course, a birthday cake with cherries.

In addition to Donald, Daisy, and Della Duck, there are Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie Duck, plus Phooey Duck and Kabooie or Kablooie Duck (Donald's fifth nephew, usually wearing brown clothing), Gosalyn Mallard (who is with Huey), Webby Vanderquack and Lena De Spell (Sabrewing, otherwise they are together), May and June Duck, Violet Sabrewing, Scrooge McDuck, Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera and Gandra Dee, Gladstone Gander, Fethry Duck, Drake Mallard, Launchpad McQuack, Gyro Gearloose (to draw alone how he smiles I didn't think I'd ever do this), Boyd Beaks-Gearloose and Bentina Beakley. And everyone together celebrates the important birthdays of the most important Ducktales characters. Adults and children together. Happy birthday to you Donald, Daisy and Della Duck!

Hi everyone and sorry for my absence, I had some troubles, but I'm back. I'm uploading this part from a Mickey Mouse comic from my country that came out last month and shows this picture drawn by Carmen Pérez and shows how scouts (Junior Woodchucks and Chickadees) are in the forest during the transition from spring to summer and how they explore nature, camp and hang out with animals. Sorry for the long delay, but we’re back.

Quack Pack Week is return!

For honest reasons, there have been some small changes. This time, this blog is run by just one person, so I will be running this year's Quack Pack Week, and that's during a time when there will be some very exciting events next month, especially regarding Donald and Daisy Duck's birthdays. And that's during Toon June. Yes, it will be next month and for a longer period from June 13 to June 22. Yes, some topics for this year are the same as last time, for some reasons since some could not devote themselves to this, and now they can, that is, you can. This year we are especially paying attention to the 85th birthday of Daisy Duck and the 40th anniversary of Disney TV Animation and Disney Afternoon.
