can i just say communication is really important. don't think about how your partner feels if there's something bothering you (in the sense of don't worry about making them feel bad because you're bringing your concerns up, not in the sense that you can hurt them and lash out at them) and just tell them before you end up building up resentment towards them.

sometimes a small nudge is enough to have them stop the thing they're doing which is making you uncomfortable. don't let it build up and act like you're okay with it when you really aren't. it doesn't help either of you nor does it help the relationship in any way.
