wait low-key!! I'm also not on tt but like, some are just misinformed. and instead of making broad assumptions about them, we should try to understand each other and talk.

The Therian community on TikTok is overhated. Like, yeah, okay, sometimes they get definitions wrong. That’s not their fault, nobody’s doing that maliciously. They’re kids that like making masks and doing quads. What’s the problem. That they’re not valid because they’re ’too young to know they’re a Therian’? Identity is fluid. You don’t have to identify with something your entire life. They’re having fun, don’t rain on their parade.

And for the people who say TikTok Therians are bad because they ‘water down therianthopy’ or ‘make it look like it’s just about masks/quads/fashion’, I have seen plenty of TikTok ‘therians’ that were, in fact, not therians. Because if someone wants to do quads and wear masks, they don’t have to be a Therian. And the TikTok community knows that! I’m not even on TikTok, but it seems like the Therian community on other socials really underestimates how informed the creatures over there are.

Good morning, You don't have to publish this post, I mainly care about you reading it. I sincerely apologize for the two previous messages I sent you from another account. I think you'll remember from which one. I'm not a therian and I just can't understand people like you. I'm a transgender man from Poland (I even sent you a picture of myself in one of the messages) and it was really hard for me to be perceived as a man. I just can't understand how someone could want to be an animal. But I won't send you any more messages, that's completely the last one.

I'm just a simple country boy. I like horse riding, Marvel, Half Life, Portal, and Pokémon. I'm not very open to new experiences.

low-key its so nice that I'm comfortable with my body. like, I'm fine with not having male body parts, I'm fine with appearing fully human to others, its low-key pretty chill! (the one exception is my chest, top surgery WOOHOO!! when I'm old enough)

since to me, I already am half-animal, I'm already a guy even though I may not look like one shoulders and below.

i still get dysphoria though, which happens when I get like, my period (SCARY AAAAA) or look at my kin for too long.

although stuff like misgendering or looking in the mirror is pretty ok! I'd say my face is pretty masc and cat-like, also im quite the pretty boy/handsome girl and they don't know which one I am >:3

ignorant taxidermy dislikers pmo

low-key it always rubs me the wrong way when:

those who aren't in the taxidermy/vulture culture community that say dumb stuff like "so its just a dead animal?" or "poor ____ :(" when the animal is OBVIOUSLY DEAD BC ITS FREAKING TAXIDERMY or when they haven't even looked into the particular taxidermy piece and assume its unethical even though most small taxidermists have ethically sourced products. (which is usually who they're targeting)

and its sad to see that the art of taxidermy has garnered an unethical reputation, which actually makes sense since oddities and taxidermy (now) are out of the norm, and heavily assoceated with the weird groups like alternative (goth, emo, punk, scene, etc), alterhumans/furries, and probably enbys too since both alt and alterhumans/furries are pretty occupied with us gender non-conforming folk.

i get if you're saying the sympathetic stuff ("poor ___" and such) to unethical sellers, cause those creatures deserve respect (both in life and death) which they didn't get when they were alive. So in that case, ignore the unethical products and support ethical ones.

can we normalize trans men who are twinks and trans women who are butch??

like-if a trans guy is presesnting more fem, some will misgender him and then say "oh but I thought you were a girl?" or "you look like a girl".

GANG CAN WE NOT SAY THAT??? they are still a guy even though they look more fem. And you should just say "sorry I misgendered you, I will use he/him for u now :D" (or, yk, whatever pronouns they use)

AND. They may feel more comfortable being a bit fem, and you should respect that they are still a man. Because fem men are still men, it doesn't matter if he's a cis man or trans. That's still a guy!

Also there's this whole thing about femininity being "lesser" than masculinity cause, yk, patriarchy. So it makes sense for others to look down on fem men. (its not ok, to be clear)

And the same thing goes for trans women, but with masculinity being "better" than femininity. So its out of the norm and looked down upon aswell if a woman is masculine cause "women are supposed to be submissive and fragile!!"
