If Jensen was uncomfortable with Cas's confession, it wouldn't have happened (which Misha has been saying since right after).

If Jensen was uncomfortable with Dean's feelings being open to interpretation, Dean wouldn't have been silent. He couldn't reciprocate because TPTB wouldn't let them, but a refusal (as a simple 'I'm sorry, Cas' or a more elaborate speech) could have happened; an answer is actually expected in these cases! But they chose to leave it in the air, and they did so when the finale included a 'nice exchange' between Cas and Dean at the Heaven Roadhouse.

In the intervening years between the conversations about 15.18 and now, we already have: Cas was what Jensen was 'most excited to tackle' on s15; Misha and Jensen talked about what to add to the reaction to 15.18; Watching Over Me; Jensen and Misha writing and singing a song about Cas at JiB; Cas almost appearing on The Winchesters (didn't end up happening because there wasn't enough time to do it properly, 'there's a reason for that'); Jensen asked someone to film the scene and says Cas's confession is a pivotal moment for the character and the show; Jensen again talking about the confession; again at AHBL12 ("brilliant performance by a brilliant actor"); at Vancon22 "I lost Cas. I didn't say anything, I didn't give him anything. I should have said I love you too and hugged him"; Jensen says Dean's biggest regret is not saving Cas; Jensen says he'd like to see the confession addressed and talks about how he thinks Cas and Dean's reunion would go ("big embrace"); chooses to sign over a drawing of the confession; signs essay titled 'The world is a (bisexual) vampire': vampirism and Dean Winchester's queerness; Jensen says this about inclusive storytelling; Jensen likes the IG post about the Owl House featuring Disney's 1st bisexual lead; Jensen likes this letter to the OFMD creatives...

Supernatural was over. At any point he could have said "well, I think Dean's feelings for Cas are platonic but that he's very important to him" (especially since he's been the one actively working on expanding the universe and re-appearing as Dean). He hasn't: The door they left open with 15.18 is still very much open right now.

So. Why would Jensen, after years of that and at a time when he's establishing himself as Actor-and-Producer, star in (probably produce and possibly spearhead) a SPN revival that gives us LESS than they all gave us in 15.18? And would Misha be pointing the finger at network and studios, among other things he's doing and saying?

Oh, I asked Misha about the Jenmisheel project at CR8 and whatever it was, it's dead 😢 but he did say that Danneel is very prolific in her producing and it's likely only a matter of time before he hitches his wagon to something she's doing.

oh noooo :((( but tbh I don’t see chaos machine producing anything without Misha in it. I mean Danneel is a Misha stan but also she is a good businesswoman and she must know Misha sells! I suspect at least one of those two projects will have Misha.
