I always switch between sorting by genres and sorting by colour (which is pretty but not very useful for me). ✨ Long book or short book? . . 🫖 I love to read a short book from time to time because I really like to dive in and finish it in one day 😄 Kin Jiyoung - Born 1982 was a great read! It was quite depressing and sad sometimes and I often got mad because of all the disadvantages and behaviour throughout the book, which I reflects on our reality unfortunately. I can recommend this book, it’s important and I hope throughout time women will experience equality and support. . . ✨ Summer or Fall? . . 🫖 My favourite season is definitely summer! Even though this year summer is not really what it’s supposed to be, but I’m trying my best to get into the mood with light and funny summer reads. I started to read the Folk of the Air series because of its hype on Bookstagram and unfortunately I don’t quite get the hype. Don’t get me wrong: I don’t hate the books and I liked the second one much more than the first and I’m curious how it’ll all end. I really like Jude and I’m often surprised by little twists and unexpected events. But I don’t love the books. I’m not dying to start the next one once I finished the first and I really don’t support Cardan’s behaviour even if he has his reasons. He is simply cruel (yeah I know, I should’ve got that from the title) and not in a cute way. ✨ Do you read non-fictional books? . . 🫖 From time to time I enjoy reading a non-fictional book but I always do this additionally to a fictional one. I often read small parts to digest the content and think about it and then when I still want to read I grab a fictional story. Also that’s a first in my feed: A photo of my kindle and not a physical book! I recently started ‘101 Essays that will Change the Way You Think’ and I read the first 5 or 6 essays.
