I haven't seen you write anything in- wow it's been a while... are you still doing alright?

Hey, Mod Nem here!

I know we've been inactive for some time. My own personal reasons are because I grew apart from the fandom and my personal life and career keep me from being able to come back to Elsword. I have to say though, I really do miss the other mods. I hope everyone who reads this is doing well and taking care of themselves.

Though, I do think I can try to squeeze in some spare moments to get some imagines done.

I haven’t been on Tumblr in so long, woah. How’s lockdown going for everyone? 

As for whether or not we’re still writing, I’m going to try writing more in the coming weeks! I’m in university and the work load, on top of my personal life, leaves no room to write which sucks.

Bruises and light sword slashes plague the red head's body. With every dab of a medicine-soaked cotton ball, a hiss escapes her gritted teeth.

"You should've listened to me, Ele. Dealing with an entire army of Glitters by yourself was stupid and risky."

"B-but I- OW!" Elesis jumps back at the sudden poke of a still-bleeding leg wound.

"Oof. This one is deep, darling... You're lucky I came in time to get you out of there..." There's worry and welling of tears in Devi's eyes as she cleans and wraps the bloody mess. "If I was even a second late-"

"Ara." Elesis turns, ignoring the pain and placing her palms on her love's cheeks. "I'm lucky to have you. I vowed to protect you, but you've rescued me time and time again." She smiles at the glint of her ring. "I may be the leader of the Red Knights, but you're my knight in fuzzy armor."

Another glint in the candlelight reaches over Elesis's hand. "I'm nothing without you. I wouldn't know what to do if you weren't here to keep me in check, o-or if I couldn't hear you say you love me again-" Ara's tears stream down her cheeks and into the crevices of Elesis's worn hands.

"I love you. And I'll always be here, by your side until the end of time." She leans forward and presses her forehead to her wife's.

"One thousand and one nights is not enough to spend, so darling, may our story never end." Ara cracks open her eyes and leans closer, pressing her lips to Elesis'.

"You're my everything." The redhead muffles in between peppers of kisses across her lips, entire face, neck, and shoulders. "Ow-!"

"Oh, right... Bruises." She smiles sheepishly and holds out her hand. "We should probably ask Rena for some help with those."

"Y-yeah-" she strains to speak while her arm is slung over Ara's shoulder, leg tucked, and heart so full of love.

Hey, I hope everyone is having a good pride month! I've been busy celebrating being out of university for the summer and pride, so sorry I haven't been writing for y'all!

Having said that, I hope everyone is having a happy and safe pride! I'm so proud of all of you, even if you can't come out just yet and celebrate with the rest of us. I see you, I appreciate you, and I love you.

Thoughts on Laby and her classes?

Sadly because I play Void Elsword, I haven't had the chance to play Nisha yet, so I have to base my opinions around her first two classes :(

But I will say I find her fighting style interesting and I honestly don't mind playing her either. I definitely think there's some things that KOG could fix with her, but the same can be said for other characters as well lol.

Overall though, I think she's an interesting character with interesting design choices. I don't mind playing her but she isn't my "go to" character to play either, if that makes sense. I'm more so indifferent to her - she's interesting and nice to play but I'm not too involved with her.

I hope KOG does more with her though! She definitely has the potential and I hope they use it, but to be fair KOG makes up random story lines hoping they all connect like a big, risky game of Jenga lmao

Not sure if this answers your question but I tried my best!

p.s. I enjoy playing Radiant Soul more than Eternity Winner, whoops.

Chung has always been the rather shy type, but after a night of enjoying a couple beers [or replace with beverage of choice] and pizza, your night went from good to great. His sluggishness got the best of him after binging a few episodes of Kyuuhai!!!. In almost a blink of an eye, his head dropped to the crook of your neck, rubbing his cheek in gentle circles to get comfy.

Your eyes followed the fluff of his fresh-cut hair sway, but your arms were restricted by his own, wrapping lazily around your shoulder and side. Just as the pink hue rose to your face, the most unexpected thing came from his lips.

"You smell like garlic knots."

Laughter thundered from your chests. The pink became red as you gasped for air between giggles, increasing the tightness of his hug around you. "Oh yeah?" You squirmed to (comfortably) wrap your arms around his chest, nearly tackling the both of you off the couch before he caught you by the hip. "Well you smell liiike..." You grinned micheviously and take a whiff of his now exposed collarbone--

P-pause.

He smelled really good, actually. Not like pizza or [drink], but a subtle, sweet, earthy cologne. Is it new..?

He stopped laughing, too. His voice cracked a little as he stuttered out "W-what??? Do I s-smell funny??? I knew I shouldn't have worn this new spritz!" He muttered and covered his burning cheeks (in which got redder by the second).

"What? N-no! It, uh... It smells nice." Maybe it was your tired mind not having much of a filter, or perhaps the beer talking, but he just looked so cute and vulnerable like this. He usually puts on such a stoic, knightly face during battle or facing monsters, but this? This was a nice look into his softer side.

Your eyelids had felt heavy for a little bit, but they drooped further.

"Hm-?" Chung uncovered his eyes and took a glance at you, softly snoring with your head to his chest and arms by his sides. He gingerly placed his hands on your back and leaned his head back, slowly letting sleep take the both of you.

(Thank you for being so patient with me, by the way. I'm really glad I can enjoy writing stuff like this again!)

The prompt thing looks so nice. How about #11, Add having his nightmare terrors and asking his S/O to stay?

HELLO, I SWEAR I’M STILL ALIVE. It’s exam season for my university and oh boy, are they kicking my ass! But I wanted to take a break from studying and write something. Hope you enjoy!

The sound of battle was an overwhelming was pounding in Add’s ears, the scent of fresh blood scattering the ground. He could hear the screams of people, people he knew. Or, at least he thinks he did. It sounded like… like… it sounded like members of the Elgang, but that wasn’t possible.  

They were supposed to be safe in their rooms, safe from the battle that continued to wage on around him. Add scanned the area, trying to find the source to those screams. Trying to make them stop. God, why wouldn’t they just stop?  

He took a step forward, his foot sliding on a slippery substance on the ground. He frowned, confused and sneaked a glance down. And oh god, he was going to be sick. That was his partner, his lover, laying in a pool of their own blood. Why was there so much blood?  

He rushed forward, dropping down onto his knees in front of his lover’s body. He reached forward with shaky fingers, desperately searching for a pulse. Searching for a sign of life.  

God, they were so still, too still! 

He bowed his head, shaky sobs and gasps breaking through his mouth. You were dead, no sign of what took your life. No sign of struggle. No sign of anything. Your body was cold, too cold, and any signs of life are long gone now. Your eyes are glassy, unseeing. Those eyes were staring straight through him, and the words “my fault, my fault, my fault” repeated themselves in his like a mantra.  

Add grabbed your broken, beaten down body and held it close to him. He cradled you to his chest like you were something precious, and to him? To him, you’re the precious thing in this world and now you’re gone. Gone because he couldn’t help you in time and, oh, a fresh batch of tears began pouring down the man’s face with broken sobs increasing in volume.  

His broken sobs began to increase in volume, escalating to that of wails. The wails of the broken hearted; the wails of someone who had lost something so, so precious to them that they didn’t understand how to go through life without them anymore. To Add, life was meaningless now, and would continue to be – it no longer had you in it, after all.  

“I’m here,” a voice whispered through the man’s broken sobbing. Add’s head snapped up, searching for the source of the voice and couldn’t find anything. He took in a shuddering breath, shifting your body to rest more comfortably against his chest and he buried his face into your hair.  

“Come on Add, wake up.” 

And… oh, that voice sounded so, so much like the voice of his beloved that he wanted to obey the voice. He would do anything to hear that voice come from your lips; the voice that would no longer form words because he killed you. Didn’t get you to fast enough and–– 

Add woke up with a gasp, breathing deeply and greedily sucking in air. His lungs burned; it was as if his lungs couldn’t get enough oxygen to sustain them. “There you are,” a voice murmured to his right. A voice he’d never been so, so happy to hear before. A voice that wasn’t connected to that dead, lifeless body.  

His lover reached out a hand, brushing some of Add’s hair back from his face. “Did you want to talk about it?” they whispered. Add shook his head no. No, he didn’t want to relive that experience. No, he didn’t want to relive your death. The faraway, lifeless look in his lover’s eyes in his dream was… too real.  

Add reached out a hand, gathering his lover into his arms. His love went willingly, knowing that Add needed the physical contact after his nightmare. “Would you like some tea, love? To help calm you down?” They spoke in a soft, hushed tone, not wanting to spook their love.  

He shook his head quickly, tightening the grip he had on his love’s hips. “Stay the night? Please.” Add whispered quietly. His love nodded, shifting back to get more comfortable against Add’s chest. 

“I’ll stay with you, darling. I’ll always stay with you, for as long as you’ll have me,” his lover murmured. “You never have to ask me.”  

And with his lover in his arms, Add fell back asleep shortly after. His dreams were void of any death, destruction, and despair and, secretly, he knew he had his love to thank. His love that always chases away the bad in his life in order to replace it with something more. 

It was replaced with something warm, happy, content. Something he didn’t think he’d ever be feeling again.

Yeah, we’re still writing on here, though it doesn’t seem like it lol. I’m thinking of opening up mod applications because the mods are extremely busy with university until April. What do y’all think? I will say I miss writing freely and I will not miss writing for 10-page essays :(

His mind often wanders to the topic of marriage. What is it? Why is it so important? He often grills you for the answers on this topic, he wants to know every single detail about it so he can get it right. After all, you only get one chance at love, right?
