Canon Call From A James Potter Looking For His Lily

This is James Fleamont Potter here calling out to my dear Lily Jean Evans. As I remember, Lily and I had our first date at Hogsmeade. Her favorite flower was a sunflower, so I think I took her to a sunflower field in the evening once for one of our dates during the summer break. We held a Christmas party a year after we graduated and Sirius broke one of our vases while trying to open a wine bottle the muggle way. It was early winter of 1979 when Narcissa Malfoy (née Black) discovered that she was with child. There is still a war raging through her world, nearly all of her remaining friends and family are serving and fighting for the Dark Lord. She knew her husband was planning to raise their child to follow his footsteps but she'd sooner defy the Dark Lord himself before allow that horrid mark touch his skin. So she slipped away and sought out her younger cousin.

Many still believed him dead, and many claimed his death was just as he was a traitor to their world. Narcissa didn't agree with the change in values he had but there wasn't a thing she wouldn't do to protect her son. Which left Regulus Black as the perfect person to raise and protect her son. 

Draco Black was blood adopted and raised by Regulus Black in a long forgotten Black Family home in the English countryside. He was taught about both magic and muggles, learning from an early age that neither is better than the other. He was taught of the four houses that he will one day be selected to join and of the blood that runs through his veins and how it is important for him to remember he always has a choice.

As Draco got older, Regulus told him the truth of his parentage but it didn’t change much between them. Regulus had raised him and loved him and Draco would always see him as his father. Maybe one day he would sit and talk to the woman who still called herself his mother, but for now, he didn’t have a reason to do so.
