I remember reading about this guy when I was researching about the early weeb fandom in the US. Like the article says he was one of the main organizers in the 1980s NYC anime fandom and iirc AMVs were directly inspired by the legendary Daicon III opening animation and Kaposztas’ desire to make similar music video style anime-mashup shorts but obviously didn’t have access to an animation team so he did the next best thing and used his video editing skills (I wouldn’t be surprised if he was an early fansubber)

Chapter 4 of The Nature of Sacrifice is now up! Thank goodness.

I’ve even started playing on a new save file to line up the timeline a bit more, though there is a new conversation for the end of this second crusade, since I moved The One Who Waits’ lines to the end of the first crusade. That was the preview I posted before and it only had a very slight tweak by posting time.

Progress is slow since I have a lot to do outside of work, but I thought it might be fun to post a little preview of Chapter 4 for the Cult of the Lamb fanfic I’m working on.

Since I put one of The One Who Waits’ talks a tad early on the timeline, there’s going to be an original little conversation after The Lamb’s second crusade. He’s already starting to enjoy teasing them a bit.

I also thought it might be interesting to get some more Ratau and other vessel backstory stuff in because it just interests me and it’s fun to delve into more fanon territory, you know?
