Thoughts: this story is more of a realistic take on the royalty arranged marriage trope (i.e. less drama), and it was very refreshing.

Thoughts: this fic is pure genius. the plot, the world-building, the relationship dynamics-- i genuinely can’t understand how one person can be so creative and talented. props to unniebee for one of the best fics i’ve ever read. this is a true must-read, regardless of whether or not you like the pairing.

Summary: Of course, Sehun didn't like the idea of stealing from a warlock. Not-exactly-a-warlock, Junmyeon had said, but someone who deals with magic is a dangerous someone and Sehun had not spent the past twenty years steering away from danger the best he could only to start beef with someone who could potentially fry his ass if things turned sour (and they would turn sour, eventually).

Or, Sehun is a terrible liar and Jongdae is a very good one.

Thoughts: gorgeous writing, comes off as beautifully intricate (but that might just be due to the nonlinear timeline)

Thoughts: this is one of the best xiuhan fics i have ever read (and there are a lot of really, really great ones out there). i know that you might be wary of the angst tag (which you should be bc i cried like no other) but honestly, this fic is so heart-warming that it’s worth it.
