Here I present to you all, a little reminder of the magic we made together last year with our #Loveislove campaign.
The Mount Saint Vincent University Student's Union and friends created this video, along to the Macklemore song, Same Love celebrating love and gender equality.
We had such amazing feedback, having over 5,000 youtube views in a matter of weeks. Every time I watch it, I get goosebumps allover again.
I encourage you to watch this video, it is time well spent.
For all of my fellow Mount students, be sure to get involved with this movement in the new year and for everyone else be sure to share the love, to everyone, no matter their age, race, gender etc.
xo.

As a girl who was born and raised in Cape Breton, I am no stranger to beautiful scenery. Upon moving to the big city of Halifax I feared my exposure to sunset views and breathtaking scenery would be limited, fortunately I was very wrong.
Not only do I wake up every morning with a 5th floor view of the Bedford Basin, often filled with sailboats, submarines and Navy Ships I am only a hop, skip and a jump from Downtown Halifax.
I can reassure you that your Nova Scotia excursion is not complete until you've experienced the Harbour Hopper, Pier 21 Farmer's Market, Observed Nocturne in October, ordered appetizers at any of the local pubs, and walked the waterfront, taking in all of the local shops and markets.
*A side note on the Waterfront, I recently climbed the giant concrete wave  located dead center of the boardwalk, while sliding down i managed to break my big toe and tear the muscles in my foot. I THEN saw the sign that says, "Please do not climb."*
Although Downtown Halifax is a tourist attraction year-round nothing spells beauty quite like Halifax in October. The cold-crisp air, leaves changing from green to florescent reds, yellows and oranges, with the sun setting just upon 7 pm. I could spend all of my evenings admiring Theodore Tugboat, drinking Starbucks and taking advantage of everything I am blessed with as a Nova Scotian.
This evening, I took a drive a downtown with a close friend and PR classmate to take pictures for her photography assignment. We were fortunate to catch a few cool shots before the sun went down, attached in this blog are a few that she did a great job with!
That's one of the BEST parts of the Public Relations program, taking classes that are not only relevant to my career path, but also so much fun! Audio-Visual is proving to be one of those courses. Not going to lie, I am almost positive I like being in the pictures WAY more than taking them.
So whether you live in Halifax, are visiting or plan on visiting I highly recommend you spend a whole, fall or summer day in the Downtown area. I highly suggest, Durty Nelly's or The Old Triangle for a good east coast meal.
Thanks for reading, I appreciate the support xo.

Feast your eyes on this, I have created my very own blog! As a public relations student, numerous professors of mine have suggested blogging & I've decided to take their advice.
First things first, i'm a 21 (pretty much 22) year old Nova Scotian who moved from a small, rural town to the big city of Halifax! As i've already mentioned i'm studying Public Relations and LOVING every moment of it.
I work part time for Zales selling Jewellery, a job i've kept for a little over two years and found myself to be quite the wiz in the sales world.
For the first time in my life, I am living in an apartment, where I have to cook and clean and be an adult. I'm sure numerous stories will be inspired from this current adventure.
When i'm not found working or napping, I can be found with my friends, that i've made in the past year, or even more recent. I have 4 high school mates that are always in my heart, and a one year old boy named Lucas who's stolen my heart completely.
I have been through a roller-coaster of obstacles in the past 21 years, some harder than others, that I think have made me the person I am today.
It is my intent of this blog to talk about anything and everything under the moon, Public Relations, Women's issues, Family, Personal reflections, Books & movies, music (Love avenged Sevenfold) Mental health, Erasing the stigma #loveislove and most likely a whole lot of updates with my current struggle to drag myself to the gym everyday!
Love you all!
